MIMI NGUYEN CAFE - Vietnamese restaurant in Puch'on, South Korea
Great food, nice ambiance with exceptional service from staff - Dien. Highly recommended and will have more frequent meals there. They also have nice huge VIP karaoke room, suitable for good family time.
food verry nice and waitress ah phuong service very good will come next time
Recommended food: Coconut Braised Meat Rice with Egg, Ambra Apple Juice, Curry Chicken Banh Mi, Vietnamese Black Coffee and Vietnamese Spring Rolls.
Good ambience and cleanliness in this vietnam staff owned shop. Had taste the signature drip coffee quite good aroma
Love it authentic Vietnamese food
Impressive with lots of variety in the menu. Spring roll can be improved by using thinner skin and beef too hard and chewy for beef noodle soup.
Food is ok but the staff insist us to scan the code to order even though I request few times for the menu. The environment is damn hot at night because no air-con. Will not visit again because need to scan to order and always mixed up the food and wrong order. The restaurant have menu but insist client to scan to order .... sigh The staff will clean the table and take away utensils even though we have not finished the food. I do not know why the staff needs to clear the table so promptly when no customer is waiting and have few tables available.
My first visit. Food is ok, average. We went there before 7pm , there was a hidden room or lounge next to the bar. And the music of the room was so loud, whenever the door open will be like dining in the disco. Tbh I cant even enjoy my dinner
Very quaint place in am unexpected location. There is nothing fancy about the area except this restaurant.Great food at a reasonable price, this is our first time and cant wait to try other dishes the next time. Its always better to come really early if you are coming for dinner. Food is served very very fast here and the waiting time for seating is realtively less too. The pork chop, pork satay and beef pho is a must try
Interesting Vietnamese restaurant. Decor reminds me of meals in Saigon. Friendly staff. Prices are okay. Plenty of parking. Our meals over 2 days were a quite yummy. Pork chop rice was really good with huge juicy pork chops. Love the slice of meatloaf too. Everything it comes with works together well. The fried spring rolls were good as wekk. Crunchy & packed with ingredients. The pork skewer was interesting. Had a good char & went well with their chilli sauce. Ham & pate bhan mi has to be the highlight. Crunchy & airy baguette with good ratio of meats vs veggies. The letdown sadly was the lemongrass chicken. While chicken was tender & well cooked but there wasnt any lemongrass flavor. Rather plain. We washed it all down with some ca phe sua da. Rich & not too sweet. One of the best around.Overall will surely return. Lots of items on the menu that caught my eye.
Surprised to find this place well hidden away, frequented by both Vietnamese and local patrons.Indoor, outdoor and private room dining available. From favorites to lesser known dishes to local diners.Extensive menu from appetizers, salads, snacks, soups, grilled meats, noodles and rice dishes, meat and vegetables cooked in various styles and even porridge.List of drinks is long and there is a selection of desserts too.
Went here to try their Vietnamese drip coffee. One of the best Ive had. The coffee set comes with a herbal tea, so while waiting for your coffee to drip, you may sip on the tea. Be sure to ask for replacement hot water in the bowl, then your coffee will stay warm and tasty till the last sip! Definitely will go again!
Pho is always my secret craving and Malaysia isnt the place to find authentic Vietnamese honestly. So this place came as a surprise to me it was a 5-star.Ordered Bun Bo Hue, fresh spring roll (definitely fresh, not friedand cold Vietnamese coffee. Have not been to Hue actually so this dish is a new flavour to me. The beef soup was uber umami with the sliced beef and beef ball bursting in the mouth. It was served with a pork knuckle too, but I am not a fan of it due to its size. The rice noodle was a generous portion with a great texture (some I had it too soft, overcooked). The side dish of fresh vege has chinese cabbages and basil. The chili sauce on the side is definitely to be added to the soup. Spicy, as it should be, but add to taste by yourself.Spring rolls fillings, as it should be, have vermicelli rice noodle, beef slices, and prawns inside. The sauce with grinded peanuts was super on point, generous portions. Without the noodle, these spring rolls can easily be my whole lunch! The ice coffee came with alot of things. I laughed out when seeing, feeling embarrassed cuz Im actually not sure what to do. So the green coffee sifter, as usual, to get the dripped coffee. Once the coffee is done dripping, add in the sweetened milk on the side and stir till all blends well. Then pour it into the glass of ice provided to you. There you go, the cold Vietnamese coffee. And yes, it tastes as good as the hot one!Definitely will return to try other dishes here. The Vietnamese vibe is very welcoming, although the interior design is a little overwhelming with high potential mozzy attacks. Good service and plenty of parking lots for lunch.
food quality downgraded in the beginning after they open up a branch at klang. food became NOT AUTHENTIC at all. used to have meals here for 3, 4 years and since they opened up a branch at klang, staff here all changed and foods no longer tasty and authentic. even the bun mi wasnt great like last time. pho was bad now and even the pork bbq is bad! used to have many Vietnamese come to dine in here last time, more than 60% of their clients are vietnamese LAST TIME. now 90% of them are local malaysian client. you can already tell how poor is the food.
Food used to be amazing. Quality have been dropping ever since & food has gotten tasteless. Their fried pork chop rice is overcooked & hard like a rock, beef stew used to be real soft & tasty. Highlighted the drop in food quality on multiple occasion, no improvement but has in fact gotten worst
Run by Vietnamese. Theres a wide variety of food. Taste is quite good and the price is affordable. Environment is nice and comfortable too. Serving time is less than 5 minutes! Will definitely come again.
food was pretty nice. especially that burned rice with pork dipping sauce. the purple cincalok sauce is not for the fainthearted but its so nice. decor and interior was very nice. only damper was staff that served us and answered the calls spoke only mandarin and was quite blunt to the verge of rudeness but I dont speak it very well and I think Im misinterpreting service.
Food is always great. One of my go-to for Vietnamese food 👍🏻
One of the best Vietnamese restaurant. Their menu is flavourful, colourful and authentic. Great for family gathering but shop can be very noisy due to the large crowd and close seatings. Steamboat broth was too sour for me but the ingredients were very fresh.
The deco is pretty authentic. However, food was average. Service was very poor. There were 8 of us and they provided us with their private room. Halfway through eating, they requested us to move out of the room to one of the tables reason being some foreigners had just booked the room on the spot and we were just temporarily using the room (which we were not informed prior).Would not recommend to others unfortunately.
Staff were polite though they can’t really speak much English which made it difficult because there was something not right with their online menu ordering system.A few of our orders came out incorrectly. One was due to misspelling and not sure what happened to the other three orders. So confusing.I ordered what was written as bamboo shoots, but what actually it was bamboo clams. I don’t really eat bamboo clams and forced myself to finish them. Needless to say I didn’t enjoy it. I wanted bamboo shoots vege. And also frog dish was ordered, though none of us remembered ordering it. 😂 Good thing my friend was okay to eat them because I don’t want to even taste the frog.I ordered rice but they didn’t serve until I asked them about it. Looked like the ordering systems has some flaws especially when many ordering separately from the same tables.Oh well. Despite the many miscommunication and surprises, I generally think this place is nice for authentic Vietnamese food. I’ll go again but definitely will double check my orders by asking them to print out immediately. The ordering system didn’t let us review the food were ordered, so this could be one of the improvements need to be done to avoid such mistakes. Our food were okay, so will give them another chance.
Came here on a Thursday afternoon around 1pm. Packed but they had seats for our group of 4.Ordered their beef + pork noodle soup. A slight kick with the spice and great flavor overall. Tangy broth and tender meat as well.Decent pricing, good food, good coffee (according to my colleague). Will definitely return.

Serves authentic Vietnamese food. Nice ambience too and friendly staff.Take note that its better to inform your special requests to the staff rather than just relying on the "Remarks" section of the online ordering system 😁😁😁
I dont know of many Vietnamese restaurants that are not part of a chain and/or located in malls, so this place is kinda unique in my book. Also its located in an odd area so it kinda feels like an adventure, lol.Been around for some time and often youd see Vietnamese folk dining here so you know youre at the right place. The menu is pretty extensive but Ive never explored too much beyond less common noodle dishes. The noodles have a tonne of stuff in them (proteins and greens), so its very flavourful and satisfying. Not exactly the best dining experience, but the prices are fairly affordable so no harm trying. Used to have a killer avocado smoothie on the menu but no longer available during my most recent visit :(
Our first time here, food was authentic, nice environment, run by Vietnamese however they do speak mandarin. Gotta scan QR code for menu and to place food orders. Their custard dessert was interesting and the fries ‘dip’ was butter & sugar. Will definitely go back again to try out more dishes.
Had my healthy meal at Vietnamese restaurant.By having spring roll.My friend ordered noodles and rice. All goodCoffee is good!Lemon grass ginger is good too
1. Service is good even though theyre rather busy.2. Foods are great. We enjoyed it a lot.3. Environment is nice too.4. Overall I would recommend to give it a try.
Need to do some homework first before heading here as they may have language barrier. Check out the menu section and see the review to order. Food here is authentically what u get in Vietnam so try some local delicacy. Our first trip, so was exploration and food was good and so was the coffee. Will come back for noodles in the future
Authentic Vietnamese restaurant operated by Vietnamese owner. They have a wide varieties of Vietnamese cuisine and street food for you to sample. They even have exotic dishes like balut duck egg, duck tongue, frogs, snails. Have a try, something different, Vietnamese food is not just about pho and banh mi.
Definitely will go back again. Tasty food! Reasonable price. Good service! One of the best Vietnamese cuisine restaurant in Klang Valley
first time here and found this interesting place. I am not a fans of Vietnamese cuisine but I think can give a try to those who love Vietnamese food. managed by Vietnamese too.
The Banhmi is really nice and fresh. The pho is very flàvourful. Beef is a bit tough. The fresh rolls are really nice. Sauce a bit so so. Coffee is nice, with a slight burnt taste. Overall, a very nice Vietnamese restaurant. Cant find any better authentic Viet cuisine around town.
Authentic Vietnamese restaurant, the food was delicious and generous. Vietnamese drip coffee with mik is so good. Price is reasonable as well.
First time coming to this Vietnamese restaurant, nice ambiance, easy parking and staff are quite nice. The menu is extensive and I felt the price of food is quite reasonable. Food is quite authentic and nice. Will likely return to try more items
What happens when you cant travel and savour the local delicacies? You find authentic, delicious versions nearby. This place looks quite established and we were glad to have found it. We had Bahn Mi, noodles in beef stew, spring rolls and a spring roll platter. Every dish was flavourful and served quickly with a server humming a Vietnamese song. We even bought a bag of ground coffee to complete the experience. With a slight language barrier, this place made us feel like tourists instantly, which felt great after a year of the pandemic.Would be back to sample more of the menu.
The food served here is decent and delicious. Me and my partner are a big fans of Vietnamese cuisine & decided to test it out since we mostly visit the usual restaurant in Klang. The ambience here is cozy & spacious. On a weekend, it is almost as packed, so do come early or make a reservation (for bigger crowdsto avoid waiting.Unfortunately, my partners favourite soup base noodle (Phoisnt as delicious or up to her expectation. The broth less "oum" (kicklike the ones weve tried in other Vietnamese restaurant. However, the beef noodle I ordered is quite tasty. The generous amount of beef slices & variety of stir-fry veggies balances the dish as you do not need to order a veggie side dish. The other sides were stir-fry cockerel which is absolutely a MUST TRY! Youll be surprised with the "special" ingredient which tastes familiar in it (hint: pork). Also, we ordered a regular paper-wrapped spring rolls as our appetizer. As for beverage, they run out of milk tea base drinks and instead, I tried their Vietnamese coffee drip with condensed milk. Its pretty good nevertheless.Overall, quite satisfied with the amount of portion served given the reasonable pricetag.
Authentic Vietnamese Restaurant that upheld the taste of Saigon/Vietnam. Had an unexpected experience having early dinner when we stumbled upon this “cafe” while looking for Pho. To my surprise turned into a discovery when we tried some of the dishes on their menu. Great place for a beer or two and with such nice side dishes we were instantly hooked for another visit but for lunch as we really enjoyed the coffee served.
One of the most popular Vietnamese restaurant in town, its quite noisy sometimes due to the karaoke rooms inhouse. But if you wanna try original Viet cuisines in Kuala Lumpur, dont miss out this place.A little bit far from city center and super jam during rush hour!Their outside decorations made me feel missing home :-)
Food here is authentically Vietnamese, and the variety is really great. First time here and we thoroughlu enjoyed the food. Service is great too!
This place has the most extensive Vietnamese menu that Ive ever seen! Authentic yummy Vietnamese with really affordable price. You get the whole set of atmosphere with the nice deco and Viet K-song on the background too🙂
Menu was authentic with lots of options (chicken, beef, pork, seafood etc). Saw a few Vietnamese eating there. We had the Banh Mi with beef stew, bun cha (the full name is longer, but its bihun with grilled pork and spring rolls), clear spring rolls, and stewed pork and egg in coconut gravy with rice. The banh mi bread was the best among the four dishes, freshly baked and warm at the centre. The broth for the coconut gravy and bihun for the buncha was excellent as well.Spring roll wrappers were a bit thick and the meats can be softer/more tender, but overall the food was good. Will come back to try more dishes.
Nice place to eat Vietnamese food:the deco is very unique and you feel that you are having a meal somewhere in Vietnam. Food is very good and so is the service. Price is reasonable as well.
Its a really nice authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I come here few times and tried some different foods from here. All are great. The taste is really good and foods are various. Highly recommend this restaurant, the best Vietnamese restaurant in Malaysia.
Compare to Pho Viet, this place also offer you a wide range of Vietnamese food with reasonable price and quality. I tried the Beef noodle with trotter, rolls, and grilled pork noodle. They taste almost the same with what we can have in Saigon.
I had the pho which is good. Not as much beef as other places. The fresh spring rolls are fresh but the sauce has a sour taste that Ive never tasted before in other Vietnamese restaurants. The dry vermicelli is also good. Fairly decent place and I really think I was in Vietnam but with so many people speaking in Cantonese, I know Im still in KL.
This Vietnamese restaurant is really really nice! Environment totally same as the restaurant I went to Vietnam before, the decoration, even they also play the Vietnam karaoke song. And I tried their frog BBQ, its really unique and nice! If have chance will definitely come for second time. Just the service might not so good as maybe not enough staff and there is quite full of people even is weekday. Highly recommended for this place
Authentic Vietnamese food, the food is very good, service is fast and good. But last minute were told that no pork available for the cheong fun. The staff speaks Mandarin, no English, no Cantonese, could be quite difficult for people who does not speak Mandarin to communicate with the staff.Non halal restaurant. Children friendly restaurant, very nice decoration, environment, not too noisy, easy to find a parking spot. There is a Vietnamese market nearby which is nice to shop.Reasonable price (albeit they increased the price since they moved to the corner lot, more spacious and easier to find a table in the new corner lot.Great variety of Vietnamese food from normal dishes to steamboat. They serve balut. The vermicelli and pork and spring roll is super duper delicious. The Vietnamese flan is delicious as well, but it is served with coffee instead of caramel or sugar or syrup.Chili and soy sauce are provided, as well as tissue.
Lunched with other colleagues. This place has quite a rich selection in their menu. 2 of us had Bahn mi which was good. The tamarind cooler was a nice thirst quencher but it also has peanuts in it which I didnt mind. Another had the chicken rice which was also great but requested roast chicken instead of fried as listed in the menu but it still blended well. The cucumber soup with prawns was also unique.
Very good pho (Vietnamese noodle), awesome Vietnamese coffee too.. very authentic Vietnamese food without being compromise to the local Malaysian taste. Run by Vietnamese itself and lots of expatriate from their belongings country in the restaurant.
