Was good! Despite the name of the place, their meat was alright, but their baked cauliflower… lord have mercy 😮‍💨 get em!!!

The interior aesthetic of the restaurant matched the food very well. The food was delicious, especially the lime pie, and the service was very accommodating and friendly. Would come again

We booked a table on Openrice and ordered a feast for 6.It was my first time here, so I was a little shocked that there were virtually no veggies on the one-page menu. I mean I get that their name says it all, but not even a salad? BTW the broccolini (not picturedwas way too charred so we wouldn’t really recommend it. Well, I guess you can say that this is a dream come true for all you meatatarians out thereAnyways, here’s a highlight of our favourite dishes:[Fish Tacos]Totally in love with the colourful combination of ingredients! The tangy chipotle aioli added lots of flavour to the crispy fried fish, although it was slightly too spicy for me[Cheeks & Truffle]Perfect for sharing, the irresistible pork cheeks were satisfyingly tender while the mashed potatoes had a notable truffle taste[Coconut Lime Pie]The natural sweetness of the coconut ice cream contrasted well with the sharp sourness of the lime curd, so we preferred this over the caramelised chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream (not pictured)

Very tasty Argentinian cuisine coupled with a vibrant atmosphere. Seating was very comfortable and the staff was both friendly and eager to accommodate. Tasting menu is too expensive (and no idea what you would be getting)? Also the dishes were priced very high for the small portions. Fish Taco and Spicy fried rice were pretty good. Steak was just “meh” and a bit dry…. Overall though, worth the experience.

Tasting Menu with Excellent Service13th July, 2022I went to Meats on Wednesday with a friend. We ordered the tasting menu. It started with a lovely chilled watermelon salad with duck. It was sweet, salty & refreshing. We also got the fish tacos, which were perfect! Fresh & crispy.We then moved on to the main dish, which was a platter of a flank steak, USDA pork & a ribeye. The steaks were cooked perfectly & the pork was so flavourful. It was served with a charred tomato, a full head of roasted garlic & a beautifully simple salad of butter lettuce with the perfect light & tangy vinaigrette. We chose fries & the truffle Mac & cheese, which, if you’re from the US it feels like a little taste of home. 🥰Dinner ended with a brownie topped with ice cream & a coconut lemon pie. We enjoyed dinner with a few bubbly glasses of Prosecco.Service was excellent! Multiple people were tending to our table at all times. We also absolutely LOVED the playlist. A 90s hip hop jam session really made the dinner for me. It’s a total vibe.I think you’ll be pleasantly full & you most likely will even be able to take some of your left overs home, which are packed up in biodegradable boxes & sent off in a paper bag. 👏🏼 Which makes me appreciate Meats & Pirata group even more.Thanks for such an excellent experience, Leo & Staff members. I had visits Meats several times and the weekday lunch is my favorite. The lunch set includes salad, appetizers and one main, plus dessert and free free-flow of Prosecco or wine. It’s definitely a good deal if you are a big drinker. Although I don’t drink much, the food itself is worthy.I got the pork belly for the main. It’s tender and juicy and well seasoned. I also like the dessert that is charred pineapple and sorbet. Lovely.

We had the set brunch and was satisfied with the variety of the dishes that arrived. The food was excellent and the free flow drinks were plenty.The venue does get very busy on the weekends.

Huge portion and great appetisers, but surprisingly, the meats aren’t as greater as it’s other dishes. Recommend for diners except if you are looking just for meats

Had a beautiful brunch experience here recently. We sat at the bar and had lovely chats with Xavier (forgive me Of I’m wrongand were spoiled by the team overall, especially the lovely lady who welcome us at the door.The brunch menu was amazing and full of flavour and the servings were more than enough for us. The free flow Prosecco just made it all come together. So far the best yet!Thank you for a lovely day out! We will be back.

Came here for their brunch with free flow wine (around $500 pp).Wines were not bad, but the Wellington Beef was quite… disappointed - how come it could be well done 😂😂Other dishes were fine. I like the liver sauce with bread most. It was rich and creamy.

Really good selection of meats and yummy desserts. Friendly and helpful staff. Great to see eco friendly take away packaging and straws available. HiSo upset😔 me and husband like this place a lot , this time we had turned down, we came with friend who had early lunch, and by the government rules you can sit 2 person that means we got brunch and our friend want it drinks and alacarte menu and we didn’t seat not on the table at bar high table where we had class separate us and manager said we can order separate because it was one table🙄 any sense? I don’t know now if I want to come back

Great experience with an amazing vibe!We were helped by a very polite young gentlemen by the name of Xavier who tended to our every need!Will definitely be returning for the sweet and tender meat on offer and the amazing cocktails (my wife and I both experimented with a gimlet)! Despite being in the heart of soho, this fine dining experience was at a very fair price! A solid 5 star experience!

Wonderful Frunch! The grilled caesar is fresh and tasty. The juiciness of the tenderloin with chimichurri sauce is well recommended! And of course, the best chocolate brownie I’ve ever tasted! Thank you Robert, my dear Ana and the entire Meats team for your peerless hospitality!

Great service and nice environment.Sparkling wine as the welcoming drink. Fish tacos as one of the starters and surprisingly light and balanced flavour. A great start of the meal. Waygu burrata literally melted inside the mouth and it’s rich together with the cheese and the red sauce.Rib eye and lamb chop for the main. Rib eye cooked perfectly medium rare while lamb chop is slightly over cooked and dried. A bit disappointing for the lamb.Dessert was great overall but personally love the chocolate dessert.Booked the table with the remark of celebrating the graduation, the restaurant serve an extra dessert for free.Ordered two cocktail to end with the meal with some chitchatting. Sadly the cocktail was pre-made and premixed that I saw the bartender just poured the mixed cocktail from the large bottle and serve. A bit disappointing to see that tho.Overall the starter and main did great while the cocktails are not recommended to order at all. The “meat” dishes were fantastic but the drinks wasn’t worth the price.

Definitely will visit again. One of my favourite restaurant in Soho district. Wide selection of white and red wine with reasonable price. Highly recommend the salmon and steak. Staff were friendly and gave nice recommendation. No service charge.

MEATS never ceases to amaze. The grilled caesar was stellar and the Duck salad was as amazing as the first time I tried it. My friend finished all 3 fish tacos (as Im allergic), which is testament to how amazing they are!The ribeye with chimichurri sauce was cooked perfectly and juicy, and the cheek&truffle was a pleasant surprise, recommended by Andy!My favourite dish of all Pirata restaurants is the MEATS truffle Mac&Cheese, and it was as amazing as ever! 😍The chocolate Mousse (Millions Mousse?was quite delicious, perfectly balanced with a generous vanilla ice cream scoop!!

The proportion of the food is very generous. +$150 can enjoy free flow of wine. The meat quality is good.

A really enjoyable night. And the portions were huge! We had the tasting menu - do ask for the carpaccio! Its totally worth it. All of the items were enjoyable,and the dessert just ripped everything off. Cost was less than expected - remember to tip the waitstaff as the restaurant doesnt have an automatic +10%. Staff was super friendly and attentive, and even looked after my bag after I left it under the table.

It’s my second time eating here. Love the truffle mac and cheese. Tried the chicken liver pate and it’s really nice and flavoured. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Too much sauce in the beef tartare though. Ribeye was sold out so we had skirt steak. Quite savoury and on point on the doneness of the meat. Too full for the dessert 🙂

We’ve passed this restaurant heaps of times but never went in. We recently had dinner there and absolutely loved it. We ordered Grilled Octopus, Fish Tacos, Fries, Broccolini and Rib Eye. Everything was on point. Possibly the best Fish Tacos I’ve had in awhile. Great combination of hot, soft tacos filled with lovely battered fish and topped with tangy slaw, green salsa and aioli. Super yummy and definitely a top recommendation from me! The atmosphere was nice, and music not too loud. We’ll definitely be back!

Went to this restaurant for their steak, when we arrived place was crowded and waited about 15 mins to get a seat. The staff was very friendly and attended, one of them giving us the menu and another one come to explain everything they got in the menu where Ive found that they have "surprise sharing set" with reasonable price, serve from starter, entree, side dish to dessert. Because it is a surprise sharing set, so even the waiter has no idea what the chef gonna serve to the customer, we took the challenge and choose that option. And we were surprised with the menu served to us, it was amazing. Weve got 2 starters, 3 entrees, 2 side dish, and dessert. Impressive...here you can find a good foods, and friendly service from the staffs. Recommended.

We had a delightful and meaty meal at MEATS, we ordered the set meal which was full of flavour and freshness despite the heaviness meat usually has. The desserts were also scrumptious!

MEATS is a restaurant located at Graham and Staunton Road in Soho. It is a member of the Pirata Group and specialises in meat dishes. Opening hours are 5-12am (dinnerdaily and 12pm to 12am on weekends.MEATs seating area is nice, there is an open grill area where foods are prepared. Menu features a nice range of small (for sharingand large meat plates. There are a few veg, salad and potato items available as well. Its a good mix variety for couples as well as larger groups, wanting to sample a variety of dishes.During our recent dinner, we enjoyed the Galician Octopus starter. This was really tasty, a good way to start our meal. For mains we tried the Hanger Steak which was well marinated and nicely prepared at medium rare. The steak was a bit smaller size than we were hoping for but importantly it tasted good.We also much enjoyed the Iberian Presa, which was well seasoned and grilled. It may have also tasted better than the hanger steak. In short, we liked both. For sides, we had the mash potato and pumpkin salad both complemented the meat mains just fine.Negroni cocktail was ok, not as strong as what weve had at other Pirata restaurants. The Coconut Lime Pie dessert was a good after dinner cleanser. Enjoyed the tart of the lime curd, along with the creamy coconut ice-cream and coconut meringue which gave good texture to the dessert.In the end, we enjoyed MEATS. This is a fun place with good range of quality meat dishes, something groups of friends in particular should find enjoyable.

Fantastic value brunch and free flow with simple but delicious food, as the name suggest mostly meat options. Great hospitality and service as consistent with all Pirata restaurants. Highly recommended!

Tried brunch today. It’s 245 hkd per head with three sharing appetisers, one main course per head and one sharing dessert. Free flow is 180 add-on. Liked all the three appetisers and pork belly a lot. The only prop is ac is weak there and there is no iced coffeeWent again for dinner and I think the food quality decreased. The lamb was so difficult to chew... barely no meat there left me any impression. But the Chef’s menu price tag got lowered which is a plus.

Tasting menu is great value, but too much meat, so we couldn’t finish all of it. The flavor and taste was great though. Very intense porchetta.

Ribeye on bones is must order item ! Size may not be fit to boys but you can share more dishes with friends :)

Went there once for dinner once for brunch. The brunch set with the free flow is definitely a good deal:)Nice cocktails. LOVED the whiskey sour! You definitely need to be hungry to be here though, as every dish has a lot of meat.

The food was so delicious! I definitely recommend ordering bunch of small dishes or try tasting menu!! Service was excellent! Bart gets very crowded on the weekends and atmosphere is spectacular! Make great cocktails! If you plan to come on the weekend, definitely book!

Cozy restaurant, like the name suggested, with s focus in meat dishes. A few dished we ordered were all well done. Chicken liver pate was light and fluffy with crunchy nips and vinegar pearl topping. Galician Octopus were succulent and tender. Porchetta and Lamb Shank main course were on point. Worth a repeat visit.

Really nice place with nice stuff - had a lovely evening with great food. The barkeeper Mike and his french colleague Celine where very nice and we had lot of fun!!

First of all, food was definitely awesome. They offer no less than straight in your face meat dishes that are exploding with flavor and full of soul. We loved the octopus, lamb chops and the smoked pork belly. The place feels very warm and welcoming as much as the staff. Shoutout to kuya Br(y/i)an who made the menu choices easy and spot on for us. Would definitely come back to try the other dishes.

The newly opened Meats in Soho offer Omakase for $420 per person. However, they do not take reservations unless you are booking their private room. So get there early for a table.The steak tartare was mindblowingly good. The fried Beef Tendon served as scoops for the super tasty and tangy tartare. Id encore this dish for sure.The bone marrow was also very well made. Perfectly roasted seasoned bone marrow on delicious grilled toasted bread. I cant remember what waa the butter that went with it...kinda cinnamonly.The porchetta was ridiculously delicious. Very well seasoned and so tender with a nice amount of fat.Roasted Chicken was juicy and tender. Nice seasoning on the skin. I think there was a bit of spice and lime zest. Nice bright flavor for this dish.The fried rice was wow. A little bit spicy and each bite made you wanna eat more and more.So far we were loving every dish. Then came the mains; rib eye steak, beef cheeks and lettuce with ranch dressing.I actually really enjoyed the lettuce. Crisp and sweet. The dressing was surprisingly refreshing with a bit of yogurt, dill and cucumber. Not sure how thats ranch dressing but I really liked it.We did not like the beef cheeks. It was a bit salty, hard, dry and flat. I think we each took and bite and didnt go back to it.The rib eye was nice but lacked flavor because the gravy on it was kinda meh. Ours was also a bit overcooked.By the time it was Desserts, I was already stuffed! But the lemon curd tart with the coconut ice cream was awesome. Really enjoyed that. Tho the curd can be a little less sweet.The mocha mousse thingy was a bit heavy. The chocolate mousse was super bitter. My friends enjoyed it but it was a bit too much for me. Tho I know it was good quality chocolate they used.Overall, Id definitely come back again. Even if just for the appetizers!!!We ordered a bottle of wine and also added a carafe afterwards.So our total was $610 per person.
