MASA BUKA Nikosova Greek taverna in Liberec

Never had this in 50 years. Was visiting from abroad and took 4 people from my team there for lunch, sat down where indicated and my chair broke (note I am only 90Kg). so I swapped with one from the next table, equally white, wood instead of rattan, we were almost alone anyway. The waitress requested that I swap it back, so my colleagues explained that we could not because it was broken but we would swap after eating. She took it in the back, got an identical one or pushed it somehow together and insisted that I take that chair or she would not take the order. I was ready to stand up and leave but my team asked me to accept it not to lose time. After that the meal took forever so we were late anyway at work and it was not even that good, the daily soup was salted and the main course was just ok. Worst customer experience, ever. This is a zero stars experience. Never, ever, again. Many top reviews are obviously fakesUpdate 13/10: I was expecting the owner comments, he does that on any critical review. No, I am not petty. The way the waitress dealt with the situation was unacceptable. And I do not need to go in more details with four people who witnessed the episode

Místo, kde budete vždy spokojeni, velký výběr a ať vyberete jakékoliv jídlo (od předkrmu po dezert), nikdy neuděláte chybu. Velice příjemná a útulná atmosféra, milý a ochotný personál. Vždy se tu cítíme jako na dovolené.

Do restaurace jsme se vraceli velmi rádi, řeckou kuchyni milujeme, ale po poslední zkušenosti se rozhodně jen tak nevrátíme. Měli jsme týden předem rezervovaný stůl. Jen na pití jsme čekali 45 minut, teprve po té jsme si mohli objednat jídlo. Po další hodině jsme se dočkali přesoleného předkrmu. Hlavní jídlo v cenové hladině 400 Kč/porce ponechám k posouzení každému (viz. přiložené foto). Naprostým zklamáním byly šíleně přečesnekované tzatziki a přístup obsluhy. Po našem upozornění, jsme místo omluvy ještě dostali vynadáno 😂😂, že jsme si dovolili, tzatziki nepochválit.Z romantické večeře, (omlouvám seale opravdu příšerný tří hodinový zážitek. 🙈

S přítelkyní jsem dostali voucher a moc jsme do restaurace těšili.Kdo rád zkusí nové jídla a chutě, tak si tu určitě jídlo vybere. Prostředí, čekací dobu na jídlo a obsluhu bych ohodnotil kladně. Dlouho jsem ale řešil problém s místem u docela dost malého a rozvyklaného stolečku. Ale jídlo jsem si užil a odcházel jsem spokojený, jako dárek pro členy rodiny v podobě voucheru, nebo jen příjemný večer s přítelkyní bych se na restauraci rád obrátil znovu.

Už když jsem ve středu dávala rezervaci na sobotu a už měli skoro plno, tušila jsem, že nás čeká něco mimořádného. Skutečnost předčila má očekávání. Restaurace se svojí atmosferou nás přenesla na letní dovolenou do Řecka. Jídlo bylo skvěle dochucené. Personál byl milý. Na závěr jsme jako bonus dostali ouzo, které se po takovém báječném jídle hodilo. Mohu jenom doporučit.

On september 2021, we spend there afternoon till the night. Eating, laughing after our wedding day. Dishes was amazing. The owner and service was really nice. Really enjoy it, will come again!

Oceňujem autentickosť, naozaj pokým sa človek nepozrie z okna, tak má pocit, že je niekde na gréckom ostrove. Chuť jedla výborná, kalamáre skvelé, zemiakový šalát perfektne dochutený, obsluha milá. Treba skúsiť.

Absolutely excellent experience. The ambience of the restaurant is discreet and very well capturing the Greek atmosphere. The menu is very extensive and it was really very difficult to choose just a few dishes. In the end we chose Meze me alifes (the best Melitzanosalata I have ever tasted), Souvlaki chirino, Choriatiki Greek Salad and of course Bujurdi. All of which I can highly recommend. The service is friendly. The only room for improvement I could see is in making the menu more concise, but I understand that the owners dont want to deprive anyone of a single one of the dishes on offer.

I have to amend the comment to decrease the comment to three stars.I came again today but the shrimp is not fresh at all.--Recommend!Roast shrimp is so tender that it may melt in your mouth.Seafood pasta includes much more seafood than the pasta. Pasta was tasty and soft, providing unforgettable feeling.Lamb steak was somehow too salty.The white wine was a surprise and tastes mild.Will list the restaurant on my later frequent list.

Cozy place but overpriced :/ Also our bifteki were oversalted and squid was not good prepared. If you order a grilled vegetable as a side they will bring you 3 slides of zucchini, 2 of aubergine and 1 paprika - for 79,-! and homemade greek tea for 89 in a can ...

This place exceeded my expectations and the entire experience was beautiful. I ordered mussles and surprisingly every single mussle had essence of the sauce. Normally I need to pour some sauce inside the shell and eat it together but this time each piece was soaked up and tasted equally. Lamb and veal were both very tender, mouth watering, juicy. Service was exceptional as well. All three waitresses were making sure that I enjoyed. The restaurant could be only a little brighter because it was hard to see what was on the plate, especially sitting in darker parts of it.

Food was delicious and diverse! I personally found so many options for low carb diet. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The waitress was so friendly and spoke good English. Will definitely visit again.

Great restaurant! Large portions, lots of delicious options, and they are more than willing to make adjustments for allergies or vegan preferences. The staff is incredibly nice. The restaurant itself is beautiful. When I was there the staff had excellent English and was easily able to have conversation with us.

Hands down the best restaurant in Liberec. One star off, cause you cant get a reservation there at all. Place cant accommodate a lot of people.
