Restaurant service slow but nice looking facilities

An excluded place away from the surrounding villages. It is an African inspired campsite with thatched building with canvas. Beautiful scenery and ambience, great food and friendly staff.

Great experience

Very clean. However a bit noisy due to the pub that allowed people to drink till 2:am making all sorts of noise. Also they charger per room rate, with a queen bed but only give enough bathroom stuff like towels etc for one guest, and the rate supposedly includes breakfast, but again only for one guest. Otherwise, very convenient stop between Gaborone and Maun if you dont want to drive 10 hours straight

They short cooks in the kitchen with experience. They not ready for a big croud! Surownding beautiful.

THE WORST SERVICE. The room had bugs on bed at night. We called the emergency numbers at 10 they answered at 1 am we didnt sleep well. Only to get from them that "the bugs are harmless" but they were all over the bed, I think we carried some with us, might need to fumigate the car and clothes before we get home.The rooms are nice though loved the bathtub and outside shower, the stuff is so rude. I didnt like my stay there at all because I didnt even sleep and paid full price for that.SUCH A DISSAPOINTMENT.AND..its cheaper if you do your own game drive the road is good no need for a 4WD their prices are crazy expensive for the activities.

Was surprised what I saw on the internet and the pricing seems good, however, now that we request a proforma invoice for our booking there seems to be 2 different pricing structures for night 1 and 5 days later on our return for night 2. Does not make sense. can the owner please advise this discrepancy. Thanks

Loud music at night and rowdy loud guests making noise in the morning with loud music, loud talking and reception does nothing to keep noise down. Yeah sorry this place gets a zero from me and no not recommend staying in a place you pay good money for to get woken up early with loud music and go to bed with loud music.........

Great atmosphere, great customer service and their accomodation is really tidy and really nice.Really happy with my stay there and their food and delivery was just amazing. Highly recommend a stay there.

AC remote had low batteries, was told guests had booked tented chalets, but to no avail they never showed up. Not sure if was a way to avoid cleaning up of rooms for one night stay guests.

The camp site offers just that. Far from home experience. The serenity is on another level. Have fun seeing game animals!

Beautiful place, service is terrible. Dirty plates and cutlery, food takes forever to arrive. The waiters dont even know their own menu or special dishes of the day.

Nice place to hang on the weekend in Orapa. 2 x Pools..great food and drink. Excellent service.

Its a really serene place. The food took forever though and the portions were quite small. Each one of my companions complained. Look into that. Otherwise its a nice little lodge to catcha breather.

I stopped here for lunch and was positively surprised by the beauty of this little oasis - its really nice.The staff were extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. Despite being one of two customers though, the food took ages to arrive (even though I stressed that I was in a hurryand was not great.

Absolutely loved this little lodge & campsite. We went there for dinner so I didnt get to try out the accomodation but it truly is a little paradise just outside orapa. The staff are friendly and eager to help. Amazing service. If you love the outdoors this is perfect. Very peaceful. Theres wifi, a pool, and you get to experience the best sunsets Botswana has to offer. They also have the best pizza in Botswana and an extensive menu (food and drinks).

A breath of fresh air where you can taste dishes such as crocodile. The pool also cools you down from the scorching heat. A stone throw away from the historic diamond mining town of Orapa

Worst service ever... we had to wait for more than 2hours for our food to be served and it was was not the first time....to make matters worse I was given wrong order,Pork chops instead of crocodile tail and I realised that when I was home coz it was take away..

Everything is perfect here. The bar has reasonable prices, and very good customer service.Hosted a date with my girlfriend earlier and it was out best time ever! Looking forward to coming back again.

I simply wanted a lodge far away from Gaborone. Makumutu exceeded my expectations. Their premium chalets were lovely, comfortable and spacious. Food is great. Staff is friendly. What more do you want??
