My wife and I have traveled literally all over the world, and this is one of the best places weve ever stayed. The hosts are so kind and so accommodating — the sort of people the world needs more of. They will bend over backwards to make sure you have everything you need. Our last night here, they even threw a party with a band, pizza, and everything — just an incredible experience. And the breakfasts! Superb. We stayed for three nights and by our second day we were wishing wed booked for a week. We definitely plan to return!

Amazing place, the hosts are delightful, caring and very nice to talk too. The lodge is very nice, well furnished with access to a Sauna. We had a great stay and would definitely like to come back there !

Such an amazing experience here! The owners are really friendly, hospitable, generous, and inviting people.The breakfast in particular was incredible. Bacon and eggs, freshly baked bread, and strong espresso is just such a nice way to start the day. They really take pride in their work and it shows.Every time we needed something or mentioned that we were interested in trying something, they did not hesitate to offer it, like it was second nature. "Do you know where to rent a fishing rod?" "No worries: borrow mine!"It seems that they are working on getting permits for a restaurant or bar in first floor. It looks really cozy and I cant wait to see it if and when they get it running!The only thing I could complain about is maybe that we didnt feel like we had much privacy staying on the first floor, but theres only so much they could do about this with the insulation being what it is.I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it if youre visiting Henningsvær.
