Luzzo Pizzaria in Porto

Delicious pizzas. We really enjoyed our dinner with our children.

Unfortunately, Luzzo has become much worse place than it used to be.The brought us couvert (starter snacks), and it was the most miserable couvert I’ve ever seen: several thin burned pizza dough slices named as grissini, and a slice of white loaf named focaccia. Too bad I didn’t take a photo.And they charged this “couvert” all by one - 2.40e for these “focaccia and grissinis”, 2e for olive oil, and 2e extra for six marinated olives.Probably, they decided to take advantage of group of people obviously looking as tourists, but that type of attitude is definitely not something worth supporting.Pizza is still ok.Don’t get their “artisanal” IPA: it’s badly brewed, has remaining yeast, and will get you sick.Overall, I used to loke Luzzo for three years, but I doubt I’ll go there again.

Very nice place to eat staff was xlnt and so was the food I made a mistake and ordered 2 bottle of wine instead of two glasses and they caught it and fixed it

We happened on this place and it was outstanding. The pizza, the pasta, especially the service. Good from management to staff, they really took care of us.

Very nice pizzeria with a beautiful atmosphere. I never thought of Portugal as the land of pizza, but the pizzas at this place were out of this world!

They have very different pizza recipes then usual which is intresting. The design of the restaurant is cool.

Went twice,1. very positive, enjoyed the food, great environment, waiting times were good, nice staff and very modern intuitive ordering system2. The same as the first time but had an issue with getting dessert but it seemed like an anomaly, staff were nice about the situation and handled it well

Awful gnocchi and pumpkin soup. We did not eat at all! One order they forgot to bring. We were waiting for 40 min while the restaurant was almost empty at that time. Awful awful awful.Not bad pizza with caramelised pineapple though…

Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good pizza and prices.

Lovely interiors, warm, friendly service and spectacular pizzas. The Roman bases are simply sublime. Decent tiramisu and an above par playlist. I could eat here a lot.

Visited the pizzeria with my wife and nearly 2y old daughter. The pizza was extremely tasty and clearly they use very good ingredients.In addition they have a small childrens area which my daughter enjoyed. They have some books, a pretend pizza store, hopscotch and more.I highly recommend to visit if you have children and you like a good pizza.

Host is very welcoming and nice. But the pizzas we had were dry and bland. Not enough toppings and cardboard bases.

What a wonderful place and very conveniently situated close to our hotel. The food was delicious and the beers well chilled! All the staff were very friendly and helpful - we couldnt fault the food or the service and highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back next time we visit Porto 😊.

Delicious pizza, friendly staff, great prices.They even had menus in English as well, which is appreciated. We are learning Portuguese, but its slow going ;)

Hidden gem we spotted whilst on a walk. Food is excellent and service was great. Head to the back where there is a great verandah.

Good italian restaurant, nice staff and tasty food (although some Italian purists wont agree teh carbonara is actually carbonara). Wine is a bit too expensive for its quality, but the food has a fair price.

Luzzo is a great place for top notch pizza and service.I was impressed by the ordering system. It is via a tablet which makes things very efficient and quick. Within 3 mins of sending a drinks order through it arrived at the table which was quite amazing. Food arrived within 10 mins as well, so this system works and Luzzo is ontop of their game.I had the Siffredi pizza with Napolitana base (which has the crust/rim). Pizza was very good and had a beautifully light and fluffy crust.Moscatel de Setubal - very nice fortified dessert wine that, although in its own category, tastes somewhere between a red Port wine and a sweet Sherry. Below average food. The soup smelled bad. The focaccia was not even close to what focaccia should look/taste like. On top of that they mixed up ingredients in my pizza and refused to refund for the wrong ingredient (we are talking about less than a couple of euros, not a critical amount, but would have been a nice customer service gesture )… definitely won’t be back.Gave it 3 and not 2 stars, only because there is a nice playroom for kids downstairs, which our son enjoyed.

I went there with three friends last night and enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the service was friendly and attentive. The only things preventing me from giving a 5-star rating are that the pizza sauce was too sweet and the music system sounded like a tinny AM radio.

The best pizza I have ever eaten…. Staff very attentive and attentive to their customers, in short, I recommend !!

I was a fan of the pizza already through delivery but visited for the first time yesterday. Ive got to say, Im even a bigger fan now. Pizza is awesome and the space is super cool and they have a little terrace in the back that is very enjoyable to dine in. Ill be visiting more times soon.

The food is very good. The service was erratic due to technical difficulties with the tablet ordering system. The servers were great and did their best to overcome the problems. Will definitely go back.

Just a normal decent pizzaria. I ordered a pizza with shrimps which was 15 euros my friend ordered a magarita which was 8 euros. 7 euros was the difference!! I got the same pizza with 6 shrimps on it. What an experience good to know such a robbery. Went here during Corona crisis by the way. Waiter was okay and very kind though...

Luzzo’s Pizzaria was such a treat!! The pizza was excellent, as was the capris salad. So tasty! Also, they have the best sangria around with their own special recipe. The manager went out of his way to explain the recipe to us and give us a taste of what goes in it. We also liked their tablet menus in which we could see pictures of what we wanted to order and actually order it ourselves. Thank you for such wonderful food and hospitality!!!

Great interior design and environment but not that much quality food. Definitely not try the carpaccio of bresaola, is more a thick cut of charcuterie with balsamic vinegar than a thin cut of meat. Some of the stuff are attentive and polite, but we also had to deal with a “tired” waiter.

Pizza was tasty. A little on the pricey side though. Staff were friendly. Liked how we could order via a tablet and customize our pizzas that way.

Loved it. Cool atmosphere. Very efficient ordering system, where you customize almost everything. Or order the traditional way, with human interaction, you decide. Tasteful pizzas with real ingredients. Recommended

When I read others evaluations stating "the best pizza in Porto" I wonder if they ever ate pizza in their life...This is not to say the pizza is bad, no: certainly better than Pizza Hut and alikes.For instance I preferred the salad to the pizza, the later being ultra-thin.Service is okay, but not much given you are ordering on a tablet.The place is modern, with a nice patio in the back side, but it lacks atmosphere.Prices are high, for the given, especially all extra-special is ridiculously priced.I had my nice meal, but not a place to crave for.

Great service, beautiful place with multiple levels and a downstairs area for children to play (like hopscotch). Wheelchair accessible. This is a play to enjoy with a group of friends, family or while on a romantic night out. Lovely, spacious patio out back. The pizza was too thin for my boyfriend but it was perfect for me. We also had a huge salad (Luzza), and freshly-squeezed orange juice.

Great vibe! Good service and applause for the pizza selection! The pizza was delicious! You can also create your own. It is a very thin, but delicious pizza. I usually cant eat much, but managed to eat the whole pizza alone. I had a margarita (7,90 euroswith spinach added (1,45 euros). It was very tasty and because it was so thin, I didnt feel too full. Definitely a place I could visit again.

Excellent pizza, thin base as it should be.Not a big selection, but negligeble when you can create your own from a wide variety of items.It all can be done through their virtual menu on a tablet. Actually you can pick everything without having to call the waiter, just pick the tablet and order away!Nice staff.
