Save yourself the trouble. This place is BAD VIBES and full of douchebags (from the management to the staff to the target clientele). It’s not worth the time, energy or money.

Staff are rude. Security guards and manager men are very creepy and unprofessional. Full of older men. Felt really uncomfortable and just had a really bad experience as well as they took photos of my debit card which makes me feel extremely uncomfortable

An absolutely disgusting and uncomfortable place to be around talk more going inside..they are are discriminatory towards bigger size women and wouldn’t let them in..I think places like this should be even be existing and should be shut down with immediate effect..absolutely dusgusted and wish the was something less than a one start

I wish I could give minus stars. Luxx is notoriously racist and fatphobic towards guests. They consistently refuse entry based on race and / or size. Despite being contacted by club representatives and being invited by them to the venue (and putting your names on the guest list), you will still get turned down at the door if you do not comply with their disgusting, outdated, boring, vanilla standards.

Total prat who owns it. Booked on the guest list. Turned up and told its full and owner wouldn’t let us in. We had booked this place with lots of prior notice. Lady with the clipboard snobbery and turned her back after the owner said no. No reason given at all! Total waste of time and disgusting. Weirdest place Ive ever set foot near! I got bad vibes from the minute we walked into the line. We were on the guestlist and us ladies could go in free...men had to pay £20 🙄🤣My friend who arranged the guest list got messages from some guy inside asking us where we were (we were outside in the queue...lots of waiting around and I just felt like red flags were popping up everywhere. All of a sudden prices changed and now women have to pay £20 and men £40. I burst out laughing, next joke!!Honestly, avoid this place! Its a right scam club!We made the right decision and went to Be at one cocktail bar, great vibes and great music!

Dope club i had fun, i didnt pay to get in nor join the line since this is the norm in clubs in London perhaps. Crowded and very small the energy is quite up there, its been a while since i went to a club, but wont mind going again.

We were booked on the guest list. First gentleman we spoke to took umbrage to one person missing from our group. Asked to wait. When the lady “with the clipboard” finally approached us. She firstly commented on my fiends flat smart shoes, which we replied my friend had her heels in her bag. Then we were told not allowed in as preference to members and to people who came every week and asked to leave. No words on the level of rudeness and lame excuses used. Wish I could have give 0 *. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Disgusted with their service.So yesterday 12/3/22 we were there our names were on the guest list they made us queue after 15 mins a lady maybe South African comes to us saying to my friend your shoes are not part of the dress code we told her we have red bottom heels in the bag she then said sorry I can’t let you in your not on the guest list and we will only allow people who come here every week.We went all the way from leicester which she ruined our night our trip the staff were rude I felt they looked down on people and picked and choose who can go in and who can’t.Very bad staff and very rude they were arrogant.

Rude, aggressive, violent staff. From start to finish, our visit to LUXX was horrendous. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Staff are on a power trip. Just read the reviews and newspaper article from 2016. Explains it all!!

Would give 0 if possible. Worst club experience I’ve had. The ordeal to actually get into the club was insane. The staff were rude and unhelpful and despite having a table booked were told he didn’t have one and made to wait in the rain.The watered down ‘vodka’ brought to the table was disgusting and one man was even putting ice in the cups with his hands!!Despite being a private party there were even 18 year old kids trying to get on our table and get some of our alcohol because they ‘knew him’.This was meant to be a great night out for our friend’s birthday and ended really disappointingly with one of our friends being manhandled by staff.Don’t believe their Instagram account and avoid at ALL costs. Save your money and go somewhere much nicer.

Daughter booked to be on guest list with friends for 21 birthday. When arrived, despite paying deposit told club was full and to go away and doorman wasn’t bothered they had paid. Be warned!

The bouncer got rude with us just because the photographer couldn’t click his pictures. Like the photographer couldn’t change his position and rather moan about us and the bouncer decided to be rude with us. This is a first.

This place is disgusting. rude management. The man working there with the glasses tried to talk down to me saying I don’t have money; wouldn’t want to go spend my money somewhere where people working are looking down at you. 0 customer service skills, poorly managed.

Ngl I was like abit drunk. So I kinda had fun. But I mention being drunk to emphasise that I would have had fun anywhere really :/Outside of that, they really overcharge and ‘stole’ my friend’s money.There are definitely better clubs in London.

Terrible music, no space to dance. Drinks included in the ticket means - you will drink vodka mixed with water so better get something from the bar, at least works like alcohol. I have to mention that the guy who checks outside if you are on the guest list is really rude! Ive never had worse experience even in rave party- at least everyone should be polite to you!

Worst experience ever. On arrival, the promoter with spiky beard invited me and my friends was extremely rude. He lied about free entry and booths. Most promoter were picking favourite in the queue. Avoid this club at all costs.

This is one of my favourite places in London. The vibe, the people, professional dancers and all of the staff members are just amazing. Five stars or more ✨

We had organised with a promoter to get into this club and to have a table but he was nowhere to be found once we arrived. It was then £20 entry which is pretty steep anyway but I really cant justify that at all once I saw the inside of the club... There is literally no dance area, only some spaces around the DJ stage and tables. Its absolutely so tiny and squashed inside that people are constantly pushing past you no matter where you are stood.Drinks are also ridiculously expensive so I bought one drink only and decided on tap water for the rest of the night as its just not worth it at all. If it wasnt for the company I had I would have been sorely disappointed to have come out at all that night. Im never going to be returning to this club again and I highly recommend you save your money try somewhere else if youre thinking of coming here.

Awful experience, received the worst customer service Club ever, booked a table for weeks in advance also receiving email Confirmation of this.When trying to get in they mentioned they have already allocated our table to a" regulars" and there is nothing they can do, the lady on the door was so rude, raised her voice as she knew she was wrong and said "Booking confirmation, doesnt mean your guaranteed to get in...."Disgusting service at this club and would advise anyone against going here and if possible i wish i could give lower then a 1 star!

Terrible. We were on the guest list for this club and asked by the pretentious door “lady” who our reservation was booked under, for which we replied our own names rather than the guy who had organised our guest list reservation. Then to be told that we were “too drunk” to get in. Absolute waste of a club, do not go here.

The male at the door is very rude, and have no costumer services at all, I wonder why would you opening a business! to pick who can get in or out considering everyone is paying, sorry I travel a lot and visited place to recommend to my tourist but you need to improve a lot door male because you never know whos at the door

I felt very strongly about my experience at Charlie tonight, I am a regular.Paul Chung, if you are reading this please have a serious discussion with the door lady, she has a really bad uneducated, attitude that is not good for your business. The club has been quiet this weekend due to the Easter holiday and the whole point is to generate as much profit I understand however you have lost a lot of money tonight due to the nature of your door lady. Furthermore, there is video evidence of behaviour which will be sent to the local press and police due to the language and words that your door lady has used to describe others in the queue. If you would like to discuss further please reach out to me as the front of house represents the whole venue and at the moment this is failing you.

One of those Central London clubs.Obviously expensive and recommend if going to get a table but not absolutely necessary. Split between main dance floor area that is quite big compared to the other clubs in the area, and a smaller room with a bar and pool table.Music generally consists of the top of the chart rnb/dance tunesStaff are great and for me that is why I am happy to go back. Gets very busy on the weekends and has managed to keep up demand for over 2 years now. Recommend checking out tagged photos under Instagrams location for a better idea what the inside looks like/crowd.

Terrible club- I was on the guest list but turned away because my friend (who is naturally beautifulwas not wearing makeup despite being very dressed up to fit the dress code. They ruined my birthday- Security was rude and they are liars. Would not recommend this place for a night out.

Ive been here once with a university society a couple of years ago. Entry fees for this club are very high, as expected for a Mayfair club. However, I dont think its really justified; the only factor driving the price is its location. Inside, the decor is nice, but its not any nicer than any other central London club. Come here if you have money to burn (drinks are ridiculously priced), otherwise pick somewhere else nearby!

Lovely interior however very small. The atmosphere can be quite dead until about 12 when it picks up. Very expensive drinks and a 20 pound entrance fee unless part of the first 50 girls to go in that night. Music can be boring. Can be a fun night however there are better places for a night out in central.

I first went to Funky Buddha in 2008 and have never looked back. I have never received less than exceptional service from some of the best and most polite staff I have had the pleasure of being served by. It is a beautifully decorated club with a history of visitors that put every other club in London to shame. The crowd is fricking stunnning and usually famous... who doesnt want to be in club where they can bump into any UK artist you would care to name on the dance floor. Whether its for a beer at the bar or buying a table it is where I choose to spend my time.... Enough said.

The best night ive ever had in London. Amazing music, amazing service, amazing atmosphere, amazing venue!!! Like everyone else has said, if you like celeb spotting Funky Buddha is the place to be. Everything is great value. Ive been to many venues over central London, Funky Buddha is the best!

Staff helped me retrieve my lost phone which we all know feels like its our life support! the music was the best! not sure what rude staff people talk about, i think its mutual-give respect to get respect. had a great night with my girls! definitely visiting again!

The DJ did not do a countdown to New Years Day. I looked at my phone, which is the correct time and it was 12:01, a minute later he acknowledged the New Year. Dance floor small and busy, music was ok.Wine £9 spirit and mixer £12, cloakroom £2. Venue is attractive, no problems with any staff members. Paid £50 for entry on NYE. Would go here again to see what its like on a normal night but I do not intend to come here again on a New Years Eve, luckily a hotel club opposite had free entry so me and my friends spent the night between the two clubs, mostly at the other one.
