Neuenkirchstrasse 3, 6020 Emmen, Switzerland, Luzern
A 10-minute walk from the Emmenbrücke Gersag train station, this modern hotel is 7 km from Kapellbrücke, a 14th century wooden bridge. It’s also 9 km from the Swiss Museum of Transport.Trendy, streamlined rooms and suites include free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars. Upgraded rooms include sofas and balconies. Room service is available.Free perks include a breakfast buffet and parking. Amenities also include a casual restaurant/pizzeria with floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto a terrace, as well as a bar and a business center.
Nice room. Excellent bathroom. Very clean and excellent service.
The hotel was good, the room was really clean and the staff were really nice. I enjoyed my stay there.
We only stayed for one night and had to leave early in the morning which we announced at check in. Upon leaving, we noticed that the breakfast room was already open (breakfast was included). Being mindful that breakfast starts at 7am (it was 6.45 then), I asked in advance if it would be okay if we already have coffee and after seeing the food was set up already, asked again if it was okay for us to help ourselves. I have never been met with a ruder response from the lady at the reception. She was obviously annoyed at me for asking multiple questions and disturbing her while she was starting up her shift, even shouting(!at me that she "only starts working at 7am" and that she "already answered my question". Just a "no" or a "yes" as an answer would have been fine. What an audacity of me, as a guest, to politely confirm things in advance, 10 minutes before your shift, I should be ashamed of myself!Avoid this hotel if you value being treated decently as a normal human being.
This is the worst hotel experience we had in Switzerland. Can’t check in at 3pm. The staff are just rude and almost impolite. I can’t understand how this hotel is still there. Avoid this place.
I did not have the feeling to be welcomed in this place. Rooms and location ok.
Perfect hotel for being enroute to Italy. Nice, clean and quiet rooms with airconditioning.
The room was small but very clean. The breakfast was good. The bathroom was nice with a spacious shower. The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly. We enjoyed our stay
The hotel is clean, and conveniently located right off the Autobahn Exit. However I was allocated to a tiny room (Room 303like an attic with only a roof window. It was dark and when the window is open, black soot dust falls in. However I cant close the window if not I dont have air. I checked in for 3 nights and asked for a new room but the receptionist said the hotel is full. Yet, a "free room available" poster stands at the entrance of the car park. If you have to use this hotel, make sure they do not give you room 303.
Great welcoming staff, perfect location not too far from the motorway
Nice friendly accommodating people.. Central with a restaurant next door.

Delicious pizza & very friendly staff, definitely recommend going for a delicious meal. Thanks!
Be careful ! While check-in, the owner would like to take manually your credit card to do a COPY ! (He talk me that its for security if I broke something in room)Because the reservation was done and ready payed, we cant refused it without to lost the night room value. Finally we no have the room that we ready payed.
Great overall experience. The service was very nice and the room was better than expected. The hotel respects all COVID-19 measures, and it was a very safe stay. Good breakfast and they have a free parking right in front of the main entrance. We visited with our car and it was very easy to find. Also, it was close-ish to the highway so it made it easier when we were planning our visit routes in the area.
Good hotel, we had a pretty big room which was clean. Good location.
The receptionist try to do copy from your credit card while check-in. If you dont accept, he request 200 chf in cash money.
Wonderful
We stayed here during our visit to Lucerene. This is located about 8-10 min driving distance from downtown Lucerne. We opted for this option since we were renting a car and this was reasonably priced compared to other options in downtown Lucerne. If you have the Swiss travel pass, you might want to consider an option in closer proximity to Lucerne train station. The rooms were small but comfortable and the hotel offerted all the basic standard comfort - luggage storage, elevator (its a plus here since s lot of options otherwise did not have this which means you would have to carry your bags through the flight of stairs to your rooms ), basic hygiene and safety. We also had parking and breakfast included with our stay. Breakfast spread was good with all the standard variations - eggs, cereal, yoghurt, juices, croissants etc.Overall if you have a car this is a great option for your stay in Lucerne.
Quite. Friendly and accomadating staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Continental breakfast is well balanced. Close to # 2 bus stop, which means only 20 minute ride to downtown Lucern

A perfect hotel to stop if you are on a longer trip to your final destination.
Stayed here 3 nights.Pros: the rooms were comfortable to sleep in and we had control of the AC unit.Cons: management seemed very micro-managy.1We needed an extra roll of toilet paper and it seemed to be an ordeal for the front desk worker to go find one. He kept explaining the cleaning staff is supposed to replace it and that we should have another one in the room. "Yes, we know, and we still needed another one because it was used up.."2Then, the next day, my parents and I left to get some supplies from the grocery store and my sister was taking a nap in our room. Someone from the staff seemed to think we all were leaving, and left the key in the room; wasting energy (keycard used to power room). Staff member knocked on the door and woke my sister up, and seemed surprised someone was still in the room. Said "oh, I was checking on the lights," then left down the hall.3Lastly, there is a sign in each bathroom for the large fines/costs of damaged carpets from bathroom showers overflowing (photo attached). My parents bathroom had a shower with poor layout and lack of a proper closing shower door. Without towels on the floor it definitely would have leaked out to the carpet. Talk about setting guests up to fail.Overall: just got bad vibes from the management staff and general setup of the rooms. After a couple poor interactions, I was just left a general distrust with the staff. The beds, the AC, the free breakfast, and the breakfast servicr and cleaning staff were all courteous and great, so I dont want to be too harsh. 2 stars.
The room is too tight for two people.Staff can barely speak English.
Really nice location. Excellent place overalll

A clean hotel. Good breakfast
Very nice hotel
Modern structure in a very nice position, at the exit of the motorway and near public transportation to the Luzern center.
Lux Hotel Restaurant was AMAZING!!! The food was tip top. I had the mushroom pizza and let me tell you..DELISH!! The kitchen is open in view, the pizza prep station is open and a real treat to watch the dough preparation. This restaurant has nothing to hide but all flavor to give. I recommend it. #EDventure
Good hotel in good price.
We stayed there 3 days. It was excellent stay. Near to Luzern Station. You can reach to Luzern Station by bus. Bus frequency was good. Bus station was nearer to hotel by 5 mn walk. We had requested to allow us for 1 hr early check in as we were supposed to reach early. Check in time was 2:30 & we reach by 1pm so we had already requested them in mail so receptionist allowed us. Both the receptionist Michaela Kranmer & Regina Zurbriggen were friendly. Everytime whenever we were going out or returning to the room they always greeted with smile.
Good views, behaviour of staff, delicious food.
Nice hotel. Parking and breakfast included. Rooms are basic, but nice and clean. Rooms have air conditioning, which is much appreciated in the summer heat waves. Only a 10 min drive to the lucerne old town.
Rooms was clean and nice but the street was spretty noisy
Nice overnight stay at this hotel.
Nice and Affordable
Functional hotel but facilities are limited.
nice hotel, the owner was very friendly. free parking area. however the lift is bit small, and it stops between the floors which is not very handy if you have big luggage.
Booked a budget in this hotel and the stay was worth the money... Close to public transport as well so well connected to the city...
Clean, modern, no nonsense business hotel. Decent restaurant on ground floor, specialized in pizza and Gordon Blue Expensive wine list.
Were American travelers and stayed in the "Junior Suite" room in September 2017. Very large and well appointed room. Balcony/terrace was the largest we have seen. Close to public transportation. Worth the money.
Considering the price, its definitely a value for money. The receptionist was very swift with the check in and check out.Breakfast buffet was slightly limited on menu as compared to many European hotels. Our room was in the attic and had the attic slant just above our bed.Cleanliness wise the hotel was spic and span, really good job there!Wouldnt mind staying again considering the accessibility via bus in a minutes walking and the price.
The room was moderately sized but clean and organized. Concierge service was friendly and helpful in navigating the city.
Okay hotel. Much better for business stay than leisure. Also the location is not among the best either. Would still give it to the management that the room and washroom were very clean. As an overall experience, Lucrene isnt a tourist spot. If you are going to Switzerland for the purpose of sightseeing, dont waste your time in Lucrene.
I like the location of the hotel (close to everything but not in the city centrestaff very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast and free parking included in the price. The internet works very well and the walk in shower is great especially because of the underfloor heating. I really enjoyed my staying there.
Pros: a very clean restroom / breakfast/ kind staff / clean room/ comfortable and nice beddingCons: bad location in a remote area / a small room
Good place to stay
Excellent hotel just outside the main city. The owner and staff are very friendly. 17 minute bus ride to the main city. Budget friendly.
Clean, modern. Watch out for the inclined roof on the 2nd floor! ;)
Very well appointed inexpensive hotel about 20 minutes by bus from central Lucerne. Opened in Jan 2013, the air-conditioned rooms and fittings are very well done with close attention to detail. Staff were very helpful. Its a little lacking in character but if you want a neat modern hotel which guarantees a comfortable stay Hotel Lux is fine. Only quibble was the breakfast. No soft fruit, no dried fruit, no muesli.Transport into town is easy via the very convenient and efficient Lucerne city bus service which has a stop a couple of minutes from the hotel and runs 5 or 6 times an hour until late.
