Its beautiful...need to see...if u live hereOr just visi
Gorgeous sunset views. One of the most underrated and most beautiful place to visit
I cant help but love it here - is where my husbands ashes were put. I love visiting him here. It is gorgeous and so calming to sit and visit him. He surfed this spot as a kid, nd sailed all over these waters. Its so nice to know he is back where he loved to be - in the ocean riding the waves and sailing the seas forever. 🌊❤️
Nice place to see sunset. Ample space to sit and relax. Do bring your own thing to sit on and also a light jacket as it might get cold..
Always beautiful view
Great place to watch the surfers and sunset over the Pacific. There’s lots of room to find your own spot to watch from and there’s several benches spread around the point. Most people bring their own chairs or blanket. Great spot for a date or picnic.
Amazing but it is blocked off with a fence to keep people safe no restrooms near
Primarily a short board break for locals. Great place to watch surfers drop in on big Wednesdays. Can be crowded during sunset. Dont stand on the edge of the cliff, people fall off all the time. Dont be that person. Be respectful. Enjoy the view and let your worries fade away.
Fantastic location with breathtaking views and access to no surf beach. A popular location for weddings and my favorite location for photographing them!
Always love this classic California scenic location. I grew up in California and have been on the east coast through the pandemic. Visiting Luscombs was reinvigorating and reminded me of what Ive been missing.
Great spot to watch the sunset. A lot of benches next to the side walk. Parking can be tough, just make sure you look at the signs and dont park next to a painted curb.
Nice place there is a Beach down below but is only for people with full body abilities other wise please stay of the beach area is very hard to climb down by or up
Great view! The famous hole was covered already so you’re not able to close to it.
A gorgeous spot to watch the sunset without any obstructions. Youll see surfers and pelicans galore. You may even find someone dropping on their knees to propose to their significant other. Friendly folks from around the US and the world take in nature here. The only downside is finding parking and the traffic back into town.
Amazing view 🧡
Wow. Such a gorgeous spot. Went around 2-3pm during the week and it was easy to enjoy the view alone! Went down to the cave and was alone as well. Make sure to go during low tide! I went at -1.0 and still got waist deep into water (but worth it!)
What an amazing place for sunset. If you are visiting San Diego, best recommendation. Make sure to there when it’s low tide.
Great little spot to check out if you are visiting or just out for a Sunday drive
Parking is the only downside. So dont try to park 10 min before sunset. Give yourself some time, bring a chair/blanket, a jacket, and enjoy natures show.
Stunning place for sunset and silhouette viewing. Most people are friendly and quiet. Great for runs, picnic, dating!
It’s secured with the fence due to safety issue now. However it’s good view with some high waves.
Such a beautiful spot for photos!I recommend going during the week for special photoshoots to avoid large crowds. I took my clients here and we had plenty of space so that the photos were free of photobombing tourists!Be sure it stick around after sunset, because sometimes the view gets even better after the sun goes down!
Amazing beach with magnificent red rocks along, a perfect place to watch sunset.
This is a hidden gem ! Local hotspot! Dog friendly people friendly! Beware and bring your hiking shoes for the climb over the rocks on the way down and back up again :-)
I took a lot of photos here. Get here EARLY for the Holiday, brings snacks and water, park for free, and enjoy the cliffs. GET IN THE DAMN WATER!! 😂. Explore the caves, walk the strip, maybe even Bird 🛴 to OB. When you’re tired, come back to your car, climb on top of it, and Enjoy the Sunset.
Beautiful place to visit when the tide is low. There isnt a lot of places to park so be prepared to walk. There are small hideouts to swim in but you have to find the way down which can be a challenge if youre carrying too much stuff.
If you want to get out to see the ocean, start your morning with a nice jog or just doing some site seeing, this is the location! Well kept and not very busy at all. Plus, the views are pretty amazing!
Beautiful place to take the family to watch the sun set. No public restrooms.
Too good for watching waves.Great access to sunset cliff cove
Very beautiful spot to watch the sunset. However, parking is extremely limited and the fights over parking diminish the experience. This is not a sandy beach for families. To get to the beach you have to cross under a sign that warns of sheer cliffs and dangerous conditions. But if you want a place to watch the sunset at the top of the cliffs, this place is very beautiful.
Amazing place to catch the sunset! Everyone goes though so get there early for parking. I love the little sea cave/arch. You can even look down into the “hidden sea cave” nearby.
My brother got married here on 03/11/21 absolutely gorgeous spot, im sure their photos will come out amazingly. Plenty of space to social distance, either on thr cliffs or down on the beach by the water. Seemed to be a fairly dog friendly area as I saw more than a few people with their dogs hanging out or playing.
Absolutely beautiful place to catch the sunset, have a picnic, take pictures or even explore the tide pools!!@t3r3sa.g
This is a very good spot to watch the sunset. I especially like early morning hikes here as well. Last time I was here I saw a pod of dolphins in the water. The trial is steep and can be dangerous so be sure to wear shoes with decent tread and be mindful when crossing over the stream and going up the hill.
Beautiful location! Prefect backdrop for a Sunset Wedding! Easy permit process and a well maintained area. Keep up the good work San Diego Couny!
Lots of people enjoying the sunset. Beautiful view though.
Beautiful area! Ive been to Sunset Cliffs many times, but with the extra low tides right now, we were able to enjoy the tide pools and caves under the cliffs that are in accessible most of the year. Definitely a special afternoon and great memories.
Beautiful ocean views. A great place to make a picnic or catch a sunset.
Beautiful! Get there a little early so you can get a parking spot ;-view was amazing and lots of space to spread out and not feel like youre right up on each other
This was a great getaway for a few hrs. The water here was extremely clear. This place gives you a great view, easy drive and plenty of parking. You must visit these if you want to enjoy the ocean without actually getting in....
Great views, you can just keep walking along the cliffs in either direction...watch tide pools, birds & of course sunsets!!!
This place is fine and almost as beautiful as the California women. Go out there for the sunset if you can.
I was kinda disappointed. Took a cab all the way from downtown to watch sunset but the sunset was not really what I expected to be. Have watched better sunrise/sunset. So I was kinda disappointed. Maybe it was just a that day.
Definitely a nice view. And different from LA beaches. It’s just astonishing. I dk it’s the most interesting place in San Diego. Reminds me of SF, but on a sunny way. Easy to get there by public transportation too, although might have to wait some time for the bus.
What a nice place to stop in San Diego, peaceful, not too crowded, plenty of free parking for surfers or simply have a walk.
Peaceful spot on the coast. Plenty of parking and parking ya to get to. You can bring some towels or chairs and hang out or bring your walking shoes and get in some exercise. They have weddings here. The birds flying by and surfers catching some waves give you some extra views to check out. Great place to check out.
Beautiful scenic view along the coast. It can be dangerous in some areas. Great place for photos and to chill and view the sunsets.
The cliffs were really awesome. Found them on accident due to a wrong turn but what a find. Definitely a neat gem. I would recommend to anyone visiting or living in the San Diego area.
Great views of the coast line here. Parking usually not a problem.
Absolutely breathtaking scenery , perfect place to watch sunsets and explore
