High pressure sales people. Bargain hard. Ignore people who come up to you asking what you need. Shop on your own and be firm. If you dont like high pressure sales you can shop in dongmen. Many locals shop there so not as high pressure and initial prices much lower. You can get the same low price in louhu but have to bargain much harder. Dongmen is only 2 stops away by metro and is huge. Gotta do a lot more walking as its spread out, night all in one building like louhu

Most smelly toilet ive ever encountered... This place have many gadgets but just beware of the price you might found the same thing but with big price difference with just a few steps away.Please dont get scam by their "wholesale price" you got to buy a certain amount to reach

For the most part, Luohu is a bit of a rip off. Vendors give crazy high prices and expect you to bargain for hours. I found Ivy about 8 years ago in shop 2054, on 2nd floor and she is the opposite! Her prices are good, her quality is better than other shops and she gives way better prices than other vendors for best quality. (WeChat ID alelemingpin). I dont buy shoes, bags or watches from anyone else because her stuff is guaranteed.Rosie is the best tailor in Luohu. Not the cheapest but absolutely the best! She is on 3rd floor and Ive attached her WeChat contact info.Head up to the fabric market on 5th floor to buy fabric from Suzy. Excellent quality and product knowledge. Ive traveled to Luohu for many years and always wondered why its not more of a wholesale hub for small business. It seems that change may be afoot in light of the strong policing of TM goods. Ive been to Shenzhen twice and this is a must stop. Its not the cleanest place but Ive been in movie theaters in America that are worse. Fun to shop the counterfeits and barter on price.

If you are headed to the Luohu Commercial Mall for tailored clothes, do not have them mail them to you. I purchased clothes at store 5072, lady goes by the name Molly. I purchased $400.00 worth of tailored clothes to be sent to the USA and she never sent anything, don’t overlook my comment and end up being a victim.

I love this place. Great merchandise, friendly people, and conveniently located right on the border with Hong Kong. From either side, just go to the border, from Hong Kong you will need permission to enter mainland China. Beware outside, people will try to hustle you.

Its an experience you cant miss when you visit Hong Kong. For Australians the cost is 168 RMB (30 Australianfor a 3 day visa. Price hasnt changed since we were last there in 2016 and 13. After leaving Hong Kong immigration follow the signs for foreigners to get up stairs to the visa desk. These days you have to use a photo booth to have your photo taken and printed out prior to getting a customer number to start your visa process. One customer number per traveller. It took an hour this time. Whilst waiting I volunteered as customer service officer. It killed some time and fact that their info. boards are s**t. Anyway, made some nice friends. Its pretty seamless getting through the border. As soon as you cross over and if you look like youve got money youll be followed and engaged allot. If you say nothing eventually they let you go. Its difficult to say nothing. In the shopping centre there are good restaurants. Havent missed yet, the food is good. When shopping, the trigger word is "How much". If you generally chit chat to look at products they let you go. If you say "How much" youre in the haggling battle and even if you think thats fine ill just walk away. youre wrong. So make sure youre in a solid position about what you want to pay. Once the haggles done and settled on a price. Its amazing the change in persona of a seller. Pressures off and you move on. Do your research, knock offs I will argue are generally of a good standard. Triple A sometimes, generally in the A range. If youre from Australia and used to smoke free shopping centres, be ready for the strong aroma or cigarette smoke. The aircon just stirs the cigarette smoke around. Apart from this impost, I recommend you experience it. The knocks offs are way better than Hong Kong. There are people that walk around touting who could even sort commercial quantities. (Not for me)

Absolutely terrible experience! Much more expensive shooping than Hong Kong and hostile men is lurking around and makes the whole experience even worse. It took us almost thee hours to get a 24 hour VISA to get in the country from Lo Wu station. From my rather wide experience of travelling, this is by far the worst place to visit. Just don’t!

Found a great shop for leather on 2nd Floor, Shop 2054. They had the best range and quality and very easy to deal with. Also found Shop 261 and bought power towers and usb towers for a very good price. Thousands of shops there, but all the others I went to didnt feel nice .. these people were really nice and spoke good english. Prices are about 40% less than same products online with quality you can trust

But a good place to get some inexpensive knock offs and gifts and get a good laugh...fun for a shopping day but no quality just fun..expect to haggle and also be ripped off by professional scammers...Some merchants will make you feel like you got a good deal but...you didnt so just go for the fun, for the laughs..like an amusement park for trinket and knock off shopping

深センに到着して目の前にあるショッピングモール。グーグルマップと位置がずれてますね。入ってすぐに、客引きが来ます。商品によりますが、３～４割あたりまで値引き出来ました。革だと原価高いので値引き少なめが良いかと思います。話にならない、帰れと言われて、帰ろうとすると、別の中国人が呼び止めて、値引き成立までが流れm(_ _;)m３階あたりの北側の中華料理店は昼時でも空いていて、安くボリュームあります。餃子や春巻きなどの中に入っている肉はちょっと臭います。

Many of the goods are "quality knock offs"-- and one should be prepared to "bargain very hard"! In addition to the market, there are also many places to eat... and a wide variety of "yummy things" to eat. The huge transport hub can get one to the airport, busses to many places in China as well as railway tickets and trains (including the many high speed trains). A old mall on top of bus interchange after the China custom. Nothing much to offer. If you don’t have much time, I would suggest King Glory Plaza, which is just a station away at GouMou station. It is much newer and offer varieties of food options and shops.

With the opening of a myriad of shopping malls in and around the nearby Dongmen area, this mall has lost its charm.The shops here dont have much to offer in terms of the latest either and expect a lot of transit crowd going in and out of Hong Kong.

Luohu commercial centre is the place near China - Hong Kong border. This is the place for shoppers looking for 1st copies of watchs, clothes handbags, sunglasses, shoes etc. You will get the copies of Rado, Rolex, tag huer, Omega, CK, LV, Armani, and whatever you want and wish. It is a trap. Go here after research else you will be robbed. The shop owners start with the high price however you can get in 20% of the prices quoted by them initially. All depends upon the barganing skills. The quality of the products is good but one needs to be careful. I got Omega seamaster watch for 200 all the dials working even the chronograph is working. Hard to differentiate between original and copy..Chances of stalking by shopkeepers is high. Enjoy and beware of traps.
