Lumangwe Falls in Kasama

Regarding the views, it is an absolutely stunning place that should be seen by more people. This is the second biggest waterfall in Zambia. A beautiful area. However, the camping areas are not kept and we did not find any running water. It needs to be better maintained.

The place is nice about 75km from kawambwa. The viewing points for the waterfall are awesome.I remember how I got tired on the stairs going down and up.

Magical experience, if you can handle the trip to get there. The roads are very rough and it is advisable to go with 4WD or 4x4 vehicles.

Known as the second largest falls in Zambia, this falls is really worth seeing. Its got great viewing points, a swimming area and the grounds are perfect for camping. You will see more than the beautiful sky at night here. There is also a self catering Lodge, K100 per night if you choose not to camp. You have to be wary about the road though, eps if you are using a car. Id strongly recommend using the road going to Kawambwa rather than the shorter Mporokoso if youre coming from Kasama esp in rainy times. But these falls you must see, several times even.

Wonderful falls. Try to visit over a full moon to see the Lunar rainbow. Spectacular!!!Maintenance around the camp site can be better.

Very impressive work of nature. This is the no 2 waterfall in Zambia. Its three viewing areas . The first gives you a frontal view of the falls, the second a view of the drop and the 3rd is more like overlooking the fall

Words are not enough to describe, What a beautiful place. The greatest challenge is the distance and access to reach. You need a good 4x4. You need to carry all your necessities as nothing is available.

A very natural place for people who love to reconnect with nature. The falls are very beautiful and was worth the struggle to get there.Unlike the Mporokoso route which is in a not so good state (≈90km gravelthat we used when going, you might wish to access the falls from the Luwingu or Kawambwa sides where most parts of the way is tarred, with only about 40km of very good standard gravel road. Contractor on site to tar the entire stretch.They dont serve food or drinks, be sure to carry your own packs.

Amazing waterfall. But 4x4 is needed to cross the last two bridges 5km from the falls. A culvert on the Kabwelume Falls road has been washed away and was being repaired. Bridges should be fixed by February 2021.

Very beautiful

2 amazing falls, we visited during December rains and they were quite massive. They are hard to reach in the rainy season. The camping site and lodge by national heritage are very basic but well kept, self catering is the only option. The road to mpolokoso is quite a mess, gets very muddy and its easy to get stuck with the car. 4x4 recommended. In dry season its passable with any car

The falls themselves are beautiful. Im docking 1 star due to the general lack of maintenance nor food options.If they had food offered at least, this would be 5 stars.

This is a most beautiful waterfall in Zambia. If it is second I doubt though it would second only to victoria fall
