Beautiful Sounding Room, Great Service, Good Food......

Love this place. The whole menu is good. Bar had good selection on tap, staff is very nice. Im there every week for trivia. Still would recommend after years off coming here.

The service outstanding and friendly, a relaxing atmosphere and the food was fresh and delicious.

Fantastic restaurant and live music venue. One of the gems of Rochester. This is a place that is great for a business lunch and also great for a night out. Food and staff there are both excellent.

Great food drink and atmosphere. Add in the excellent entertainment schedule and it becomes a no brainer. I love the Cup!

I love this place! So many menu options available. Soups, salads, noodle bowls, wraps, sandwiches and wings. The wings are amazing!

Was excited to come here because it was recommended by a friend. Truly one of the worst dinning experiences I’ve ever experienced. Got seated at 5:30 and didn’t leave until 8:20. Waiter took 20 minutes to get to our table, and then forgot to order one of our entrees. Not a big deal, except she didn’t check on us for 40 minutes so we couldn’t even see if the entree was ordered, Had to flag down another waiter and he ended up ordering it for us. Food was mediocre at best and was not worth the price. Paying for the food was another painful ordeal and took another 45 minutes. Never have I ever had to go up to the host’s podium to try to track down our waiter. We were not the only table that had this problem tonight. Never will come back and never will recommend anyone come to this place.

Delicious boneless wings! I also tried the Blue Barn Cidery Jostaberry Jam and it was very good! Our waitress was super nice and had us laughing too! Great experience!

Have been to Lovin’ cup a few times and they have never been disappointing. A little pricey but the food and the vibe are great. Friendly staff and quick service. Would definitely recommend.

Lovin Cup has great food and is very conveniently placed for RIT students. It can get a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. The only problem is that all the events they do make the dining room too loud to hear yourself think. There is outdoor seating, but thats only good for the warm months. If you like live music or trivia nights you should definitely check this place out. If youre looking for a quiet spot to eat, consider somewhere else.

One of the few places, of many (locallywhere food is serious business. Expensive? I think so, but it is excellent food, as advertised & made with care. Meaning not teenagers- in-a-kitchen feel.These peeps are doing it right! I do want more fries w my $18 burger or sami, however! All said, every option will be delish. As quoted by everyone in my agency last time we treated ourselves.

Had brunch at Lovin cup today for the first time and it was awesome! Brunch menu is creative just as their regular lunch and dinner menus are. Food was delicious and the service as always is above and beyond. Their potato pancakes are fabulous. I had their variation of a "garbage plate" for breakfast and loved it.

Stopped for lunch. Food was amazing. Ordered one Special and one of the Paninis. Upgraded to sweet potato waffle fries. Loved every bite!

Really great place to eat and have a drink. Unique menu options. Full bar and lots of coffee options.We ate outside under a spacious tent.Server was attentive, order was correct, and a great vibe.

I’ve spent many evenings at Lovin’ Cup and it never disappoints. Really unique atmosphere, live music, great menu, friendly staff, and delicious food. Great outdoor seating, ample parking, and lots of space to hang out right outside on RITs campus (without feeling like you’re on campus). This place is great for coffee and brunches too!

The food has been terrible every time Ive been here; I dont know if I got unlucky or something. Burger tasted like a wet sponge.Service is great, venue is hit or miss — nice to have musicians and performers from the area, but its so loud that its hard to have any conversation.

I would give a zero if I could. Went early on Saturday night for a birthday dinner for a friend. We were told there was a 20 minute wait if we werent seeing the band (that didnt start for a couple hours). 25 minutes later, told it would be at least another 20. We (party of 5 of ussat at the bar for over an hour and were never seated. Meanwhile people were coming and going into the "band area" and getting served. We ended up ordering to go and leaving. I told the manager how disappointed I was, especially as it was a birthday dinner. Her response - Oh thats awful! ?!?! Our food was dry and NOT good at all. We ended up eating snacks at home instead. I will definitely not be returning.

Wasnt really a packed night, yet took forever for us to get seated. The menus were sheets of different papers held together by a clip board. My friends and I kept complaining about how loud the music was and were college students. The food was expensive and getting the checks took forever. The music was cool though and the food was good.

Nothing beats the Cup! Loved it. Atmosphere and food. Theres nothing like it in Rochester. One of my favorites.

Always a good time coming here! My go to lunch item is the hot for teacher sandwich! Gotta also get the frizzle sauce to dip your fries in. The last time I was in, I asked if I could split a dessert with my friend, and they came out with the dessert cut in half in the form of Pac-Man. Seriously love little things like this!

Probably one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Our waitress was inattentive, disappeared for 20 minutes or more at a time, never refilled our drinks or checked on us, and even my coffee took forever to come out. Then, when the food finally came it was cold and unsatisfying. They put tomatoes on one of our sandwiches when we specifically asked for no tomatoes. But there was never a point where she came back to check on us to even mention it. My friends had a plan to go to the movies but she took so long to do EVERYTHING that they missed the showing. When we finally were able to tell the waitress we wanted the check, she disappeared again for at least 20 minutes. Our entire table was visibly irritated at the food and service (or lack thereof), so my boyfriend waved over at who was clearly the manager and the manager WAVED BACK. As if we were just trying to say hi?! Then he waved him to come over, to which the manager waved my boyfriend to get up and come to him. Absurd. My boyfriend then said we’d been waiting forever for the check so he told someone (not our waitressto go check on that for us. Our waitress ended up bringing the check over to us without a word. Neither the manager or our waitress acknowledged our displeasure or apologized for anything. We paid with cash just to get out of there sooner. Paying with card would’ve been another 20 minute ordeal. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never be coming here again!

Great little place! A tad bit loud, but to be expected as they were having live music. Atmosphere is fun. Food is decently priced, you get what you pay for.

The live band was nice. Service was great considering it was Friday evening after work, there was a private party and the place was bustling. Food was very tasty, and it was hot. I loved the sauces that came withtheFrench fries and pretzels. As it quieted down, it was easier to see this quaint location located near a couple of apartment complexes. This place has a different atmosphere during warmer weather. Its definitely worth checking it out if youve never been. Sorry I didnt take pictures for this place.

Super focused staff and very tasty foods. Havent experienced their music nights but friends have said that is worth another visit when music is playing.

Saturday night has the best music! Great sound system, delicious food and drinks, plus a perfect location for awesome bands and satisfying chicken wings, burgers, salads, sandwiches, coffee and dessert. Come visit soon!

I had my daughter’s baby shower there. Leslie and Adam, and all the staff were awesome, loved their hospitality! Food was great. Everyone had a great time.

Ive been coming here for years and have yet to have a bad meal. My wife loves the burgers and the Flank Zappa salad, my son loves their wings, and Im addicted to their "Back to Black" - the best blackened chicken sandwich Ive ever had - and their sweet potato waffle fries which are served with a jalapeno honey mustard that justifies the existence of sweet potato fries. Beyond that, its a great place to see a show - their sound setup is among the best in the Rochester area. Cant recommend them enough.

Ordered "The Flank Zappa" today...OMG...absolutely AMAZING! I have plastic utensils at work and the steak was so tender I could cut it with a plastic knife! Blue cheese was super fresh and the balsamic vinaigrette brought it together perfectly! Was so good, forgot to take a picture...but I think the empty container is just as effective! Thank you!!!

This place host amazing events. They have a great selection of beers and wonderful food.

Decided to attend Open Mic Night for my birthday with friends and family. The team at Lovin Cup set up a beautiful table so we could enjoy all the great talent. Everything was awesome! The apps, beverages and entrees were delicious and everyone had a great time!

We have always been a huge fan of Lovin Cup. We went on Friday and I have to say our experience was disappointing. First, we were not allowed to sit inside due to some sort of event. The host was pretty rude when I inquired. It would have been nice if he explained the reason for sitting outside. Luckily it was a warmer evening, but if it had not been and we were not prepared, we would have left. The wine selection was pitiful. Every wine we ordered was sold out. It took 5 tries before one was available. I had to ask 4 times for napkins, before I just went inside and grabbed them myself. Service was slow and seem very disorganized. I guess if we decide to try it again, we will have to verify if there is an event going on. If so, we will not be dining.

Happy to dine/drink and support local music! Service was mostly good, very courteous servers but our first round of drinks were slow. We werent wowd by the pretzel app, but our mains (Buffalo sandwich and steak saladwere great. Enjoyed the extensive beer menu, and well certainly keep coming back.

The food was wonderful and our waitress was AMAZING!!! We brought our pup with us and the were so sweet to her!

We hadnt been out to eat since the lock down but the Lovin Cup has a great set up to social distance and enjoy some amazing food.

Delish meals every time I go!Update 1/2020 - still delicious food! Service seemed a little slower, but had plenty of company. And I was really hungry so that probably made the wait feel longer.

Spacious and comfortable, the staff is attentive and the menu diverse. I ordered the ramen and it was okay, though if I went again it would reccomend something else. Portions are filling.

Visiting Rochester from out of town and this place was within walking distance of my hotel. Ended up being there for open mic night which was nice. Cute spot with college town feel. However, they were out of quite a few dishes when I ordered. Food was very good.

Cool atmosphere and good food coupled with a wide selection of adult beverages. The stage and acoustics are also very well done for bands playing shows there.
