Love Koh Tao in Chumphon

View is amazing... But you need to buy something in order to spent time up there. Staff is medium friendly.

Cafe / restaurant run by locals with superb views over east part of the island and very laid back ambiance. Good drinks are served, iced coffee was full of flavor, fried bananas were ok (bit overpriced to be honest). View is still the best of it all

Great place to have some drinks and relax enjoying the views. To enter there you have to consume something in the bar or pay an entrance fee of 20 baht. It is in the road to tanote bay and the best way to get to it is by motorbike (which you can rent everywhere in koh tao). The prices of the bar are the avarage on the island and I think that is the most beautiful viewpoint in the island.

Nice place to visit, have a coffee shop and a restroom. If you don’t want to order smth from the shop they will charge you entrance fee about 50baht. And don’t forget to go to the next view point:)

Service wasnt friendly at all (very weird for Thailand). Food & drinks were ok. The chairs made of tires left big black marks on my clothes which now need to be washed.

A must-see place, the drive up here is beautiful (100% you need a motorbikeand the views are insane. The food is alright, coffee could be better but its worth it for the views & the bean bags :)

Great views at this scenic viewpoint restaurant. The food is a little pricey to make up for the free entrance. You have to purchase something if you enter (which is fair considering the view and no charge for the view which is common on the island).Getting here is a little tricky but just stay on the left main road at the crossroads.

Favorite spot on Koh Tao. The food is really good and reasonably priced. It’s worth the trip up here. I recommend taking a truck taxi; the road is pretty steep, but motorbikes do make it up here. Road is paved. Make sure and direct Google Maps to “Love Koh Tao Access Road” first, then get to Love Koh Tao from there. Otherwise you’re on a wild goose chase on the wrong road.The view is incredible. (p.s, they no longer have the talking bird. Someone let it escape)

This is a lovely cafe (try the raspberry shake!with fabulous views but before this selfie cafe and the place next door were built on the edge this was a reasonable launch for paragliding.Now the only place for launch is at the far end of the "Love Koh Tao" plot (picturedbut this is very tight with the pilot perched a little way down the slope in front. With two helpers to hold the wing up this just worked to launch on a 20Kmh East wind day. The air just infront was very turbulent though so all in all this is not recommended to try!Landing was made on the beach in Tanote bay.

This is another place where they have a nice nice view and see tanote bay above , you should try fried chicken wings is awesome !!

In our opinion two reasons why you should visit this place are amazing view,opened from here and delicious lassi-drinks. Especially, I recommend a mixed fruit and mixed berry ones. The rest,dont expect too much from the cafe: there is quite mediocre food and service. 5 stars only for lassi and view.

Great view - you have to buy a drink or pay 20b - do not follow Google maps - that road does not connect. Come up via tonote bay side and there is a paved road to the top that is signed. Easy motorcycle drive up. Bring your own metal straw.

Breathtaking view and chilly, perfect to just sit on the nest, letting the wind passing through. Nice outlook although not the best or highest outlook. Definitely the easiest to get to. Ideal for couples its kind of romantic if you dont mind not seeing the sunset. The Cafe is good offering a wide variety of food traditional and western & drinks (alcohol and non alcohol). Worth a visit because of its ease to reach.

are you coming to Ko Tao? you can not stop going to this viewpoint! the view is fascinating and the place beautiful as it is decorated! if you can make the effort to go see the sunrise, a little yoga and meditation! the energy it transmits is very special. then you can have breakfast there, it has a small menu with breakfasts and lunches, the prices are not expensive but the quality of the food is not very good! I recommend going for a drink (coffee, shakes, beerwith that incredible view. Very good music and the attention of the staff is unfriendly, but that does not mean that you do not miss a beautiful place IMPORTANT: the address marked by google is incorrect, to get there you must go to Leuk Bay, and at the intersection turn right. the route is not marked on google maps.

This place is incredible. Lets address something right away - if youre coming up here to take in the view, be polite and buy a smoothie or a beer. Yes, there are signs asking you to pay a mere few pennies to enjoy the view on its own, should you choose to forego a purchase of a reasonably priced beverage. Those running this gorgeous viewpoint restaurant are only trying to make an honest living, clearly tourists have taken advantage of the mild mannered Thai locals here and can be seen arrogantly waltzing around taking selfies in their place of business without even a thought to making a contribution to those who run the place and keep it looking beautiful. But I digress. If youre still reading this review then take note that everything here on the menu is excellent. They have a real kitchen that is clean and they take time to prepare each dish with a high quality standard of excellence. I visited here a few times during my stay and I can say that the Banana Pancakes are to die for, the Pad Thai is original and authentic with just the right amount of spice and all the smoothies are fresh and a deliciously refreshing change from the standard Chang Beer youve been drinking your whole trip. Go here, soak up the view, relax and unwind, eat a meal and remember - if the restuarant wasnt there, you wouldnt have such a priceless view to enjoy.

View is nice but there are better ones! Stuff quite unfriendly, especially compared to normal standard in Asia! Seats and porch are great though! Be careful, google maps tells you a completely wrong way to get there, probably because the road there is quite new!

You have to pay 40 baht to get in there or every person need to buy their own drink! It’s a nice view and easy to reach with the scooter duo there is a concrete road. But the owner where really rude to us.I would recommend going to the Tanote Peak Viewpoint, even a better view there but you have to walk to go there.

Beautiful views... cold beer or coke... snack if you want it... walked up one side of the mountain from Sairee beach and down the other to Sairee beach.. quite a trek...

Go for the view not the food. The view was great to sit down and snack.GPS doesnt work to take you here if youre on a scooter, so you have to zoom in and really look at the roads on the map. The GPS thinks the road goes thru on the other side but it does not.

I agree with the other reviews about not trusting Google maps, this spot needs to be approached from the East.Stayed there one night, wouldnt stay any longer than that though. There are some electricity issues in the cabin so if you want a hot shower youll need to turn the aircon and lights out in the main room!Amazing view though.

Nice view, awful staff.20 bath for entrance per person or one drink per person (coke is 40 bath). The down side is the very very rude staff... You cant even take a sit before ordering drink. I wouldnt go back there or advise to go.

Unwelcoming, rude staff. The view really is not worth it, Two Views further up is actually worth a visit instead - (its higher up)The make staff make you feel uncomfortable and wave the menu in your face to encourage you to buy something. It put us off wanting to order. They then charged us 20B per person for the 1 minute we spent to check out the view. Tried to charge for our baby until we called them out and asked for the correct change.Avoid.

Terrible restaurant with nice views. Just came to get a bite to eat but the staff were very unhelpful and rude. The staff acted like they were doing me a favour when I was ordering. They were very reluctant to help and even refused to help with some issues that I had.

Great viewpoint. no entrance fee (and that is not so common no more on this island). Just need to buy a drink, what you ofcourse need in the burning sun. If the sky is clear, you can see the other islands.

If you want to visit here, dont trust google map. You cant get here from the west side. To get here you must find the way to Tanote bay which is located on the east side of the island. And on the way to Tanote bay, on your left, you may find the post of Love Koh Tao(big enough, you wont miss it). This is the right to way to get here.

Best view Ive been so far and pls DONT follow Google map, itll bring you to a dead end. Theres a left turn if youre coming from the pier towards west, sorry I cant tell you the road name as I also explore my way there.Expect price to be on the higher side, for obvious reasons. Definitely a great place to just chill out for the whole day and simply doing nothing.

View is great. Their shakes are good. Lots of space to relax and enjoy the view. The road there is well maintained too.

A beautiful spot to see the ocean from a mountain top. You can get a basic meal and drinks and enjoy the view. If you are on the south side of Koh Tao it is a worthwhile place to visit.

Stunning views over Tanote bay. A great place to relax with a mango smoothie and just awe over the view. Its a sure stop while visiting Koh Tao. Do not get fooled by Google maps though take the road towards Tanote bay in stead. Going from sairee beach is not possible with motorbike. If you dont want to walk half way ofcourse.

Probably the coolest place in the island! You can spend the hole evening there with your bottle of Rum and keeping the crew bringing you mixers. Don’t go there by the face and just for the picture. Stunning views and vibes to enjoy with your friends! Lovely ride up and specially down with the bikes 😝

A romantic, beautiful lookout. An absolute must see. The quaint bar with good food and drink for reasonable prices is inviting and worth the steep trip up. The hike on foot would be tough but the biking can be precarious. Maybe a solid choice for a taxi if you can haggle the rate down. Also, there is a fun bird at the entrance that can whistle familiar tunes and say hello.

Man I love it here. Our third visit in less than a week, come for the views of endless ocean but stay for a drink and the pad Thai. Its also worth noting that the two view viewpoint is only a ten minute walk from here on decent tracks and the view of the west coast is perfect for sunset. If you are coming to Koh Tao then go to Aow Leuk during the day and here late afternoon

Love this Spectacular view !! Good for relaxing and chilling with friends. Fresh coconut is so good. Be careful of the street dogs when you ride there.

What. A. View.Seriously, the view up here is spectacular. The staff werent super friendly and the prices were reasonably high but that is the least of your worries. Get your selfies and group shots in here cause you wont regret it. Pretty damn long walk unless you are into it, Id recommend taking a Taxi (1000 THB return tripor renting a moped from Olis (beware its pretty hilly, might be hard with two people). Great views on the way up!

Nice view point, can see Koh phangan and Koh samui from there when its good weather. The only free view point of Koh tao Now, they just ask you to buy a drink or food if you want to stay on their Terrasse to take pictures.

Love kohtao is a very nice, very romantic place to go. It has an amazing view and cute signs to take pictures with. Also you can get some food and drinks and just enjoy your holiday

A must do view point in Koh Tao, takes about 10 minutes from Sairee beach on a bike. They do some nice smoothies/jucies up there and also some food which I didnt get round to trying. Doesnt get overly busy up here which is nice.

Great place to just sit and enjoy the quite and the views. Also the "I love Ko Tao" sign.Getting to this place is not that easy and involves a little of ridding a motorbike on uneven dirt road. But I would say, it is worth it.
