It has been a couple years since my last visit to Loumbila Beach. Quite a bit of building of new infrastructure has occurred, which would normally be a positive, but in this case, I had mixed feelings. While there are more rooms for lodging, the construction and placement seems absolutely willy-nilly. The placement of the reception is inconvenient at best. I had to ask because it was hidden. There seems to be no organization to the buildings at all, and no straight forward paths from entrance to reception to rooms. While there are paving stone/brick pathways, its still a horror trying to navigate with luggage - especially across the large expanse of gravel in the parking lot. My colleagues and I used a conference room there for the day. The furniture was ill-fitted to the task and to the room, and the ACs totally not up to par. Most of us suffered the heat horribly that day. My room, on the other hand, was much better in terms of AC plus it was new and clean. Dining under the large paillote near the water was nice, and our meals were great. I imagine the place is often over-run by children as the place seems to be set up mainly for them with rides, amusements, swimming, and a bit of carnival atmosphere. Parents with small children, this is your place.

Good view on the "Loumbila" lake.Good place to go with the kids, they got play places, swimming pool.. For adults, you can enjoy the jet skis. Give them a try..

Loumbila beach has improved a lot in the last one year. Service is great, the infrastructure very good, rooms are comfy, food is good, pool is a pleasant place to be on a hot day!
