Lou Malnati's Pizzeria - Carry Out in La Grange

Pizza is very good. I ordered and paid online. When I get there they tell me I dod not pay. They say they have been having issues with their online payments. Be careful if you are sending simeone to pick up your pizza. They may have to pay when they get there because their system needs fixing.

Was very upset to find that they arent open for lunch!

They have a nice staff that works there and there deep dish pizza is very tasty and good.

The rating is for the service which should be a 1 or 0 star. The pizza is always tasty but best when it’s actually hot. The order was put it on the Lou’s ap, said it would be ready at 6:50, 80 minutes post order. We arrive at 6:55 in the curbside line, teenager takes our name and goes back inside. We waited for 25 minutes and no one came to check in, give us an update, etc., so I went in. Miraculously the pizzas were ready & ‘just being boxed up,’ no apologies made for the wait. Nothing was hot when we got home. I would prefer to be told by pizza would be ready in 90, 100 minutes (whatever it will actually takeand it just be ready when/close to when I get there. The ovens can only hold so many pizzas at a time right? Doesn’t feel like a super complicated math problem. We’ve had better experiences in the past but the wait is always long and it feels like the place is being run by teenagers.

After ordering 2 hours of a wait; this is the quality of pizza we received! Delivery guy was rude and defensive! I called to speak to a manager, instead of being sympathetic or regretful; she justified the poor quality due to the pizza being uncut and because they are overwhelmed. The pizza has cardboard sticking underneath and it was soggy. I have ordered deep dish pizza for many years and have not received it this way. I will NEVER order from this location ever. Western Springs location. They lost my years of business. I am a customer service manager, I would have never treated my customers that way.

Went here for the first time this weekend and was completely impressed. Food was hot and fresh. The items on the menu are creative and delicious. Their chocolate chip scone was the cherry on top.

The service was top notch as well, something pretty rare these days. Hands down one of the best restaurants

Its an Express/no dine-in. Outside of that, it is a very good spot to get some very good deep dish pizza. I have zero complaints about the staff, the food, and the customer service. the customer service is the only thing thats better than the pizza. Its a great place for great good.

Service is excellent. Staff is great. I dont know what happened to the quality of the pizza. Its just not the same anymore. Ill be going elsewhere from now on. Very disappointed in the deepdish and thin crust pizza. Maybe its the ingredients they changed? Not enough ingredients on the pizza? Not sure. But its not as tasty as it used to be. Friends family and myself are very disappointed...... hopefully they corrrect the problem. But im not gonna order again to be disappointed again. Its very expensive for disappointment. Goodluck

Poor customer service. Ordered food via DoorDash, called 42 minutes after ordering for an update, they say they just received the order on their end and made it my problem to have to email Doordash about how they cant recieve orders in time. Had to wait another hour and 42 minutes for one pizza. Disappointing.

Take out and delivery only. Still decent pizza. Good salad as well.

Very unhappy. I made the online order. It listed a time. I arrived 10 minutes before and they asked who I was, and I told them. My carry-out food came 38 minutes later! The pizza was markedly over baked with edges burnt and very hard, and crust very dry. The garlic and cheese sticks were also very dry and tasteless.Very negative experience.

Food is always great. Service was great too. Curbside pickup is the best!

Okay, service and delivery. Had a couple deliviers that were messed up. They delivered the wrong pizza to my house and delivered someone elses order another time. Overall food is good. Delivery portion is questionable.

Pizza was good. Service was great staff very friendly.

Doesn’t get much better than Lou’s. We got the classic sausage deep dish + salad.

Placed an order by phone Saturday night, 6/5/21 for two pizzas. Nicole was so helpful and courteous on the phone. We loved the pizzas, one of which was specially prepared as vegan. Nicole was knowledgeable about cross-contamination and wanted to be sure I was comfortable with how the pizza was being prepared. This is extremely rare and much appreciated!

I live in a high rise, wont deliver to my door. Uber eats and Doordash dont have that problem why do you? Never ordering again!

Always get great pizza here. They bring it out to your car since covid took over. Lous is a staple.

Bad bad bad..... this place has not business being there, ordered for pickup, got there, what order they said, waited patiently, got home and pizza was made by a 10 yr old!!!

Only had takeout from this location but the pizza and wings that I ordered were delicious! Ill definitely go back and try something else from the menu.

Ordered nearly 2 hours ago and give them specific instructions to deliver at 7 pm, arrantly we were stopped number four and the food was called upon receipt 30 minutes late

Louis Malnatis Pizzeria is awesome, they have freshly made pizza, ready made pizza, barbecue chicken wings etc. Their services are heart warming.

Would give this Zero stars if I could The pizza is so droopy cheese falls off. Pepperoni taste like dog meat. Wish I could get a refund home run in pizza is way better.

Pizza pricey but very good, ordered uncut original. Highly recommend this satellite location for curbside- call them when you arrive as they ar ed in back preparing food!

This is the best pizza ever! The crust, sausage and mozzarella cheese are flavorful and mouthwatering. Never dissatisfied.

We love Lou’s but the consistency in quality is becoming annoying. For example, our last delivery order was perfect. And this last one was terrible. It seems that maybe tonight they had their B-level team working? Because there is no way quality control would have let this order leave the store. Getting tired of spending close to $100 to get a hit-or-miss meal.Example: crumbled sausage on both pizzas was minimal. But easy onion became heavy onion. And who puts bruschetta tomatoes on a salad (and it was very heavy on the garlicky tomatoes). And to top it off, wrong salad dressing.Get your act together please!

Loses a must-have every time I come home from Texas! You just got back from Chicago and I brought home three pizzas, I was so surprised that the frozen ones only cost $13 a piece!

Gets pricey, but the food is so good. The Caesar salad was awesome and the pizza (weighed a tonis a signature deep dish. I was recommended by Chicagoans!

I usually order from here once a month for a good deep dish and its hit or miss on consistency. Tonights pizza was the worst. Dry, very very little sauce (not sure if they added saucehad 5 ingredients and only gave a dusting of each ingredient and last but not least, burnt! The quality and consistency had been going down for the last 6 months now. What happened? New management? Either way, probably my last time I order from this location. Just under 40 bucks for a L pizza, I expect a quality pizza. Why it was even served is beyond me. The person boxing the pizza should have sent that back for a redo. Quite disappointed tonight!

Lou Malnatis deep dish has to be the best pizza in Illinois. Great tasting and not as expensive as places like pizzeria due. The location is absolutely great too.

I have family in Wisconsin and live in Indiana; this location is a perfect midpoint to stop and pick up my favorite pizza! The service is always fantastic and my order is always ready to go when its supposed to be, which really helps when Ive got a long trip ahead of me. The selection is always fantastic if I want to pick up something extra.

Great gluten free pizza in this take out only location. Parking is available and I have never had to wait.

I ordered pizza for the office a couple days before Christmas....I noticed the pizza was a little dry. I called and spoke with the manager....right away he offered to make new pizza and appetizer. I wasnt expecting anything! We will definitely be ordering more pizza in the future! The manager went out of his way to make sure we were happy customers! Its great to have Managers who actually care!

They make a good deep dish, but overall it isnt as great as Giordannos. Lous is closer to a mix between a pan pizza and a deep dish pizza, whereas Giordannos is a through and through deep dish. Ultimately its personal preference, but after trying both Id recommend Giordannos every time.

As a tourist trying the Chicago style, this did not do it for use. The crust was good but something was off. We had the Chicago Classic which was good but not as good as a few other places we tried.

This is carryout only. But we love ordering on line option, and of course the deep dish butter crust pizza is the best.

Hit or miss....but mostly miss. Whether Ive been dining in (at one point the dining room/restaurant was pretty busy), or more recently when eating this pizza as a delivery, Ive been disappointed. There is a HUGE problem with consistency; sometimes theres not enough sauce and theyre skimping on the cheese, other times it looks like they made a pizza and then another cook just scooped more sauce and pizza on it in the last minute before boxing it up (the cheese wasnt even melted and the sauce was lop-sided on the pizza).The last straw for me was when I got VIOLENTLY sick eating this pizza. I didnt realize until several pieces into the pizza that it was undercooked (including the sausage, which was pinkish). I had diarrhea all night long and I ended up throwing up. And no, I had not been drinking any alcohol that day - it was just a normal day and normal dinner.I wont eat at this location ever again. I havent been to a different location in a long time, but based on my experience at this place, I doubt I will give them a try again.Disappointing for something that used to be kind of special for Chicago pizza.

Honestly I love the food , and it was amazing as always . This was my first time ordering from this location . It was close to my job , so I ordered it for my job. Lous has become a once a week tradition in my household .My problem came when I had to wait over 3 1/2 hours for my pizza . After calling once after and hour to fix the problem, I called again to check on it and hour and a half later, They connected me to a manager and he said " sorry" in not even a sincere way, then acted as if I should be okay with getting my pizza 3 1/2 hours late . Delivery driver was friendly though , I gave him a guest pass to my job.

They gave my pizza to somebody else! I ordered for pickup and they said "one hour". I arrived 58 minutes later and they told me someone just left with my pizza. All they said was "Sorry, well have to start over. Come back in about half an hour." Ill never eat from Lou Malnatis again! And Ill tell everyone I know about this. Giordanos rocks!!!

Pure SLOP. Everything was raw! Disgusting slop of sauce, completely raw onions, on top of uncooked cheese. Hands down the single worst pizza I have ever had. Dont order from this location.
