Very friendly, multi lingual, fast service, excellent Angus burger with a nice spicy jalapeno sauce. And thank you for the bandaid after having cut my finger on my bike tour.

Serves the best veggie Burger in the Country, but the food overall is great. Location very idyllic, american theme is also ok. Lou, the only minus i have for you is; when I do find myself in the restrooms without soap or paper to wash and dry my hands 😬 Lou, do it! 😉

The Texas burger was delicious. Get a side of fries with Lou Sauce, well worth it!

The place WAS fantastic before the following changes:-change of meat or fat sometime around 2019, the flavour explosion isnt there anymore.- no more tennessee Jones pulled pork burgers. It was a nice change if you were a frequent customer.--changes after beginning of the pandemic---treated as diseasebringers when we wanted to pay the bill in cash. When the pandemic started. Facial expressions + voice tone-no more fries, yes really-no more chicken nuggets, they still havent returned and they were one of the best in the region-opening hours flip flop-microwave burgers, who wants to eat microwaved cheese which has lost all of its fats/flavour and dry meat ?-the fries were back on the menu-moody/harsh staffIt was a great place before really, the burgers are still ok, but cannot forgive them for not bringing back the chicken nuggets after 2 yrs+.Never touch a running system

Before the pandemic I went regulary at Lous Diner, but since Covid started, the quality of food and service isnt the same anymore.

A welcome serendipitous find just off the Luxembourg to Echternach cycle path. The big burgers and chips were great. All set in gorgeous countryside.

August 2019:Funny place to stop while being in the neighborhood. Burgers bit small. Staff unfriendly. Taste not bad but also nothing really special. Free parking.May 2022:Decided to give this place another try after so many years. Reading the recent reviews the experience here highly depends on whos behind the counter. If its Lou himself youre up for a negative experience, so it seems, which matches my experience two years ago. This time there was a very friendly lady behind the counter. She was very welcoming, did not bother speaking English, did not bother modifying the standard burgers, did not bother paying by credit card, even American Express and did not bother sharing her advice on which burgers to take. So extremely the opposite of my 2019 experience and what you read many people mention in their recent reviews. The Texas burger was the best by far. The most expensive Angus burger was the worst. Fries are back again but certainly not big portions as some claim, especially knowing you pay 4 euros per portion. Good quality fries though. Tasty sauces. Theres free WiFi with an extremely long password written on the wall next to the counter where you order. Still free parking. Burgers are around 11 euros each. Paid 50 euros for 3 burgers, 2 fries with sauce and 2 drinks. Not cheap, but decent burgers. Will come back again and hope for the same lady to be there.

Average burgers, doesnt serve them with fries anymore (replaced with Lays chipsand owner is a conspiracy nut who creates anti-covid measure posters around his restaurant.No thanks.

"Used to be a lot better" is the summary I would give. When I first arrived in Luxembourg the place was absolutely fantastic. The menu offered a good amount of choice without diluting the quality, the sauces felt homemade, the opening hours were great and most importantly the staff were welcoming and friendly.Of course, some consideration needs to be given for Covid and the impact its had on businesses particularly in the catering industry, but this isnt an excuse for everything.The menu has slowly but surely decreased to about 4 items (fries are now off the menualthough supplies at grocery stores dont seem to have disappeared... "Chicken nuggets are never coming back" is what I was told when I visited last Friday and who knows when BBQ sauce will return - FYI, this isnt an American style diner...But OK maybe overheads and competition from larger companies has hit their menu, this is still no reason for the awful opening hours and almost rude customer service. If you want to eat a burger on the weekend in particular forget it, but hey maybe the lunchtime and Monday evening traffic is more profitable than Saturday and Sunday night? As for the service, maybe theyre more friendly if youre Luxembourgish?What I wont detract from is the quality of the product. Fair play to them Ive never had a bad burger. But its becoming less appealing to take a visit these days.

Not worth the time, the money or the drive. Absolutely terrible service and the food is mediocre at best.Opening hours are whenever they can be bothered. Waiting times range between 30min to an hour… even when there’re two other customers in front of you. Customer service is appalling even for Luxembourgish standards. One time a small group of us was turned away because they were closing in an hour and we were advised next time to call in advance to order ahead. Next time we called only to be told in a very rude manner that we cannot order in advance.The food quality is nothing special and one could argue that for the price (11 eur for a burger with no sides or drinkone could get a much better meal.Apparently fries are out of season in September and you can forget about any changes to your order.Want extra cheese? – no changes.Don’t want cheese? – no changes.Don’t want onions? – no changes.Want extra fries (when they’re in season)? – NO CHANGES!Don’t even dare asking for ketchup or mayo, they will make it seem like it’s the most outrageous request ever and will openly talk about you between themselves.Hygiene is none existent, the tables have not been cleaned since the place opened and the staff are walking around half covering their mouths.The décor is over the top fake American country style. For a place that portrays a “motor culture” it’s severely lacking in the cultural and the heritage departments. Aside from the sea of mostly fake number plates plastered all over the place, I’m guessing the next closest thing to “motor culture” is presumably the downpipes of Lou’s Harley, which I presume he like to vigorously polish when he takes a break from walking around and rudely talking to overpaying customers.To summarise, after being dragged to Lou’s Dinner half a dozen times by other people for the supposedly “best burgers in the whole of Luxembourg”, I am happy to say that they have finally come to realise that the mediocre food barely makes up for the rude service and the overinflated prices even when you have nothing better to do than drive to the roadside in the middle of nowhere.

Many people had recommended this place so I finally went.I will not return and do not recommend.1.)Customers relationship: 1/10Typical luxembourgish reception. (see below)2.)Burger quality: 3/10Eatable but failed on so many levels.1.So when I arrive, the guy taking orders is talking in luxembourgish with a woman behind the counter.She has no mask and he has a bikers bandana around his neck.I ask if masks are mandatory since the reception is mainly outside in open air.He answers in a harsh manner telling me to put a mask on.So I do.During the whole duration of my order, the lady didnt even pretend to put a mask meanwhile the socially awkward guy just put his bandana beneath his nose and they keep talking to each other in luxembourgish.Also, no credit card under 20€2.I had the Angus beef burger at 11€:-So much mayonnaise that the burger paper wrap was drenched and the burger buns absorbed all of the humidity - - > soggy burger-The fried onions were pretty liquid - - > soggy burger-So much salt (and mayoon the Angus beef that it ruined the taste of this high quality beef.The fries were more impersonal than those of Mcdonald.Maybe I lucked out and got a failed burger but the customer relationship felt like anyone not luxembourgish would systematically be treated in a poor manner.

Amazing burgers and the owner is really friendly! The price is right for what you are getting. Definitely would recommend this place!

Very good burgers, probably the best in Luxemburg but... Not as good as it used to be, or at least sometimes disappointing. Also not very customer oriented. Opening hours not very practical, limited menu, does not take tickets resto, no forks for fries, tables are not cleaned between customers.., it really feels like they dont care what happens after you pick your order. The girl waitress can be quite arrogant with some customers too.

-Do you have glutenfree buns?-No.-Can I get burger without buns then, with fries?-(Smash down the paper and the pen to the desk raise voice..We are selling burgers!!girl couldnt see me anymore after that offense I dare to ask, guy had to came from kitchen and tell the same they wont give me without buns, maximum i can eat out from the bun..sorry because im gluten intolerant, and dare to ask, I would be the happiest person if I could eat normal burgers again.. have a nice day(I liked that place before, so I leave more than one star)

Hands down the best burgers for the best price in all of Luxembourg. The place itself is very unique and fits the restaurant well. You can only pay cash though so be aware of that. Overall a very good experience.

Great interior but needs proper actual interior. Its just a tent with tables. It would be so much better if the place had actual room for dining inside without feeling cold despite all the heaters. Its not comfortable to eat when freezing. Burgers are cheap and, and for 10 euros youre stuffed. Bacon burger is a must try.

Maybe a little remote but definitely worth it. Hands down the Best Burgers in Luxembourg i have had so far. Nice 50s style diner flair. Most guests sit on the terrace. They have heaters outside, so thats fine. Friendly staff. Also check out their Pulled Pork and Hot Dogs on every Tuesday.

Some say they serve the best burgers in Luxembourg. For me, they are not bad but Im sure that there equivalent or even better burgers out there. The fries where homemade but a bit to much on the dark brown side. So one star less.
