One of first restaurants I went to when I first moved here 15 years ago. Great food, great service & lots of choices at buffet, nice to see dessert options. Seem to always make new friends there when we do our family gatherings. Cheers and enjoy

the food is exactly what I want from a Chinese food buffet. The staff is asian, most likely chinese. To me as a longtime Kamloopsian, this is the archetype of chinese buffets. its chinese-canadian food, like taco bell is mexican-american food. they have a lunch and dinner buffet every day of the week, and their garlic butter potatos/perogies/shrimp/anything really is delicious. I am sad when i get full. 4/5 only because i have to compare it to other chinese restaurants with different niches/clientele. The Lotus Inn is my preferred chinese buffet in Kamloops.

Disgusting customer sitting beside me burped very loudly, sneezed 🤧 as much as physically possible, behaved rudely, and the staff didn’t do anything to stop him. The food itself was not that tasty. I lost my appetite very quickly.

Nice enough staff. Not the cleanest place . Food was alright, the buffet needed to be replenished and took awhile to do so. Was definitely an experience. Husband says Pepsi was the best part . Do not think we will be back.

Its OK if your hungry, but there is better tasting food in town

I found it satisfactory. Very small portions of meat covered in thick dough. Also I didnt find it very clean. Also the price of the buffet I felt was too much.

Tasty buffet. Good value (around $17 for lunchtime, $21 for dinnerand friendly staff. Lots of parking too.

Absolutely fantastic food. I had Chinese food at a million restaurants. This is indeed the best. Id drive 3 hours to Kamloops just for a meal again.

We tried the buffet one night & glad we did! There was a large variety to choose from. We came in later after 7pm but the cook made sure to refresh the vegetables & some items that were low. We loved everything except we agreed that the batter on the deep fried shrimp is too thick & kinda doughy. Other than that the ice cream was not available. Not happy... especially on a cheat day!! We have been back since & it was just as good but again the ice cream was not available!! Would be nice to have this choice for dessert.

For how much you pay its very bland and to be honest kind of disappointing taste wise. Perportions were a great size, Wasnt a bad experience just very underwhelming. Didnt stand out as a place id think of immediately when looking for a good gut filling meal.

Ordered ahead to have it delivered to new parents. Got there on time and was told great food.

Thought it was done staff greater us at door and told us to come in and look see if we liked ,it was not all out but all we had to do is ask and food was bought out,very friendly people clean place service was quick and tasty also reasonably priced.

Staff are so so friendly and the food is constantly being replenished at the buffet so food is nice and hot. Great value for the price!

We all know you do not do well on the food. The food is way too greasy and sugary, and tastes nothing Chinese.But upon choosing this place I havent been expecting much and would content myself with quantity over quality. That earned you one more star. Congrats.

Once again we got great service and amazing food! Weve gone for the buffets and they are sooo good but prefer to just get take out/delivery most of the time. Tonight we both ordered pick 3 combos...came way faster than we were told it would and OMG...it was so good!! Thank you for excellent service and food!

The lady who was there that seemed to be running the restaurant was super friendly! The food was so so but its a buffet. They are running the buffet and seem to be managing it quite well

I sat down at a table and there were spider webs all over the place. It was gross and the food wasnt as good as other buffets with much cleaner eating areas.

I Love Roadtrips because I love all you can eat buffets ! I live in the Vancouver area where everything is overpriced and theres very very few all you can eats . With Covid , there is even less .But get on the road heading east , and youll find plenty in Kelowna , Kamloops, Calgary , etc .This long weekend I stopped with 4 of my kids and wife at the Lotus Inn Buffet in Kamloops BC .The food was amazing ! Warm and fresh ! I ate 4 full plates of mostly Egg Rolls , Sweet and Sour Pork , Roast Potatoes, Perogies , Ginger Beef . I also had 2 bowls of Ice Cream .Everybody left full and happy . I give this place 5 out of 5 !!

Always great food. Serving sizes are huge and it is always delivered super hot! The delivery lady is always so friendly and we look forward to our interactions with her!

Ive been going to this chinese restaurant since I was little with my parents. Its always been a family favourite and I still go today with my kids. The salt and pepper pork and their honey garlic pork are my favorite but I honestly love it all. Huge portions and lots of flavour. The take out buffet is an amazing deal, one order will feed 2 for dinner. Love this place.

Only had take out a couple of times. But both times were the best Ive had in decades. Reminds me of the Chinese food Id get in the lower mainland back in the 70s & 80s when food had flavour! My new favorite Chinese place.

This is our usual go to for Chinese food. We have our favorites. Unsure if the recipes have changed but our chicken chow mein tasted like fish? The taste is not like it use to.

We had our planned stop in Kamloops as we have done every year, and decided on Chinese food for delivery to our Motel. I’m sure glad we chose the Lotus!! From placing the order to the fast and hot delivery it was great! Then the food was fantastic! Thanks again! Will order from again with no hesitation as we found our tradition for dinner in Kamloops!!!

Desserts were contaminated with thousands of fruit flies when I went, Im wondering how many fruit fly eggs me and my family ate from the buffet food... Food was not good at all either, it was dry, bland and tasted somewhat funky, the servers were kind though.

The food for the buffet was terrible. It was dried out, so the taste was not there. There was too much deep fried selections and not enough fresh items. The cut vegetables were very dried out and not good to use a dipped veggies or on a salad. The waitress was terrible. She didnt know the pricing and didnt check on us very often. The plates were dirty and the cutlery was dirty as well.I will never return. Clean it up . I wont recommend this eating area for anyone😡😡

I went this place a number of times while living in kamloops. I loved it. The food was great! Unfortunately when I went back this time in March, it wasnt great. No greetings when walking in. No smile from the waitress. She told us to seat ourselves which is fine. But didnt take our drink orders right away. And didnt offer menus. She sat across the dining area eating. After having our drinks served we waited a good 20 minutes for her to take our order. She never did come around. So we got up and paid for our drinks and went to Moon wok. Problem solved.

Its passable but fried and oily food took up at least half the buffet, which is interesting and detrimental for anyone looking to eat more healthy foods. Ice cream was okay but contaminated with bits of other flavors (from previous patrons). This place is alright for its value but Im sure you could find better at a slightly higher price point.

Food was alright, but what gets me is the cleanliness of the restaurant. Sure makes me wonder what is going on in kitchen. What is up with that nice bay window with the large plants? I literally lost my appetite instantly. How can you not clean that? Gross. Take some pride in your place of business. Gross
