Lotus Fine Thai - Thai restaurant in Woonsocket, United States
Really great Thai option. Food is excellent. Traditional and inventive.Service is spectacular.Ambience is nice for what it is. Its casual for "fine" Thai but its roomy and spacious.Parking is convenient in a plaza. All around its just a solid dining option.Grab a bubble tea for dessert.
Good food and I have had better Drunken noodles for sure. Overall I am satisfied and may visit again.
Absolutely amazing! Three weekends in a row and we still feel like every meal was REALLY good! Well be back next week.
I love the pad see eaw, especially with crispy pork! The peanut sauce that they have is so good with the satay beef/chicken and I also like to dip my crispy pork Nime Chow in it too!
It was amazing there food is delicious and the boba has the perfect touch of sweetness whatever the employees are doing it’s working loving everything about it all it is amazing 100%
Drove 30 minutes to get some dinner to find out they are closed tonight. Bad business
Great staff. The food was out if this world. Definitely planning on going back again and again.
Delicious teas, but unfortunately for the price, the amount of tea you actually end up with is just not fair for the customer! A small sized cup with a lot of ice and a little tea. (tapioca boba portion is fair.)Overall, lovely place, friendly service but cups need to be larger with more tea for that price!
Such a hidden gem with authentic flavors. The owners are friendly and passionate about making great food and sauces from scratch. Chet took great care of us and makes a delicious lychee boba (bubbletea. The ramen portion is huge (my 65 husband was satisfiedand full of flavor.
I was not a fan. I went around 3 pm, and only one couple was there -- no bartender, so no beverages (where is your bartender at 3pm on a Saturday. Smh). Food was cold and a pretty small portion. I was very surprised at how small. I got the drunken noodles, and they were mushy. Dont ask me how, but they were mush, so STRANGE (Ive never made fresh noodles, but I can only imagine they were boiled for far too long).I will not be returning; it wasnt a pleasant experience all around.
Great soups, all the food I have had been delicious
Pictures are worth a thousand words!Always friendly service. Food is delicious 😋Been coming here since they first started out. Keep up the good work.
A Thai friend brought me here, and I loved the fresh, crisp vegetables, steamy soup and even was surprised at how good the papaya sticky rice dessert was. We ate in and the service was good. We will definitely return!
Ive had Thai food in many different countries and cities in the US. Ive found the food and service to have a high level of consistency everywhere Ive eaten, except this place. I wonder if the chef has lost his taste buds or perhaps, is not Thai. Then there is the service; loud and rude.
Awesome food and grear staff!!
Wow where do I start? Food was great and my cocktail Unleash the Dragon was incredible so much so that I had 2. The server the young man whose name I believe was Chet was very attentive and friendly I am very happy to have such a great and social server. He made me great drinks and the empanadas were good. The empanadas were delicious and the egg rolls were tasty as well. The shrimp tempura was good as well and so was the thinly sliced beef that I forgot the name to. Overall this was my first visit and thanks to this young man I cant wait to come back and interact with him again.
This is my local go to place for a nice, comforting bowl of pho. The owners are wonderful ppl and the food is delicious. I also recommend their fried calamari and fried banana dessert.
Upset with this restaurant. I ordered 4 of their “Boba” drinks to get no tapioca pearls at all, but still provided the wide straws to drink from. $28.00 for juice and shakes. The word Boba is in the name of all their boba drinks when you order through DoorDash. There is an option for fruit jelly and popping boba for an additional fee of $2.00 each. There was no option for the regular black tapioca pearls. When I called the store, they said that I didn’t choose the option. I informed them there was no option. Then proceeded to tell me that I was then supposed to have put in a note for them to add boba. The drink states it is a BOBA tea/shake. The girl who I spoke with over the phone proceeded to talk over me as I tried to explain the issue of how it is deceiving to customers and she told me that it was not their fault but DoorDash. Instead of apologizing for the mix up, they were quick to blame DoorDash and said again it was not their fault. She then said she will call DoorDash to fix it. They are the only restaurant in the Woonsocket Area to sell Boba drinks.I miss Ben, may he rest in paradise. He would have been so disappointed with how the restaurant service is now.DoorDash on the other hand apologized for what happened with the food and my interaction with the restaurant. They resolved my issue.
They should be ashamed to call this Thai food!! You are insulting the culture by selling food so horribly and carelessly prepared!! It is the McDonald’s of Thai food restaurants. I have given this place 3 chances and I am highly disappointed. Noodle dishes are all the same just different noodles. Absolutely no real effort being put into it anymore and it drastically shows!!! Used to be a good place to eat. You have lost me as a customer.
Fabulous food! Great staff! Beautiful inside, and I believe they have just opened up inside dining again! My favorite is chicken pad mee!!!
Ordered take out from DoorDash.Pork Pad Tai, spring rolls, + sticky wings were all good. I loved the crispy pork pieces in the pad tai. The mint in the spring rolls were fresh and I loved the dipping sauce! The sticky wings we would prefer crispy ordering in person rather than to go but they were still good flavor wise.Overall, we’d order again!
I ordered the Chicken Panang curry, which I have had at a variety of Thai restaurants. I was extremely displeased with their entree. I couldn’t even eat it, had to throw it away because of my extreme dislike. This is extremely out of character for me as I always accept different recipes and tastes. But this is not the curry I am used to or I enjoy.
Wow this place is awesome! The panang curry is spot on and the bee bong is fresh and delicious. The boba is yummy too. Make sure to get some crispy pork because thats delicious too.My food was made in the time it was promised and I felt it was not too expensive compared to other local choices.Because of the pandemic, there is no dining in but we called our order in and picked up curbside (they brought it out to us). Theres also a decent amount of parking.
Great food and great place to eat at, atmosphere is nice. Only wish is that their takeout wasnt in cheap styrofoam. Sometimes its partially melted when getting hot oily food be careful or ask for them to let it cool off a bit before packing.
Delicious Pho, huge servings and plenty of other great options to chose from. They do 30% off entrees on Tuesday, so thats always a pleasant surprise! Theyre willing to work with you on spiciness too, if you ask me to them to make it more/less spicy. Great spot.
Nice little spot very low key when we went with nice jazz playing but still had the game on tv. Good drinks and pretty good food. Lotus bomb drink was fantastic. Very good golden bags and egg rolls which we ate there. The waitress was super nice and very knowledgeable. She helped us navigate the menu and order good stuff to go. I would get the duck Pad Thai again it was very tasty, lots of peanuts. My girlfriend said the seafood ramen was very good and they made it extra extra spicy for her. The pa-nang curry was okay but it was my first time trying it so I cant say it was bad, just not my style.
Very disappointed. Just ordered takeout. Asked for the house special. I asked if they put all the sauces on the side. Siracha ect and was reassured yes they would be separate. Drove 20 min home and no sauces were included. Also the house special was to include shrimp and it was dominantly chicken with a few pieces of meat. No bean sprouts. No mint. To rip up and put in. I paid 60 dollars for broth,. Noodles, and chicken basically. Very disappointed. Definitely will not go back
I love this place. Its a best kept secret in this area. A cozy little nook with perfectly portioned dishes made with fresh ingredients and cordial staff. Reasonable prices, too. A cherished favorite for Asian cuisine!
Food was delicious. They only 1 guy doing everything. Felt sad for him. This caused a longer wait but he was awesome. He was all over the restaurant trying to accommodate the guests.
Papaya salad and krazy wings were awesome
This place is amazing!!! If you are looking for fresh scratch food look no further! The service is amazing and the staff cares about allergy needs. Please try this place they will not disappoint :)
Came here for a lunch meeting and was pleasantly surprised. Really clean and nicely decorated. Service was good and food was yummy. I had the Pho and my co workers got curry dishes. Nice option to have near the office - well be back!
Amazing food. Always super tasty whether you dine in or take out. I have ordered many different dishes and so far they have all been so yummy!
I found the food to be lackluster. The ice coffee was nothing to write home about. The pho broth had good flavor but the noodles got soggy within minutes. You get one protein where other pho places you get 3 for two dollars less than youre paying for the one here. There were bones in the beef, and the crispy pork was fatty. The service was great, and the restaurant was clean. It was worth a try but will stick to our normal place for pho.
I love this place, great Thai food and very friendly staff. Staff is very helpful when it comes to answering questions or tweaking the order for a pickier eater. I prefer my Thai food on the spicy side and they never cease to cook a spicy and flavorful meal. Highly recommended.
I’m always in here and besides some of the waiters being awkward at times (damn millennialsthe shop has a comfortable atmosphere and they’re always happy to accommodate and make your experience better. They’ve got great Tuesday & Wednesday 30% off deals, 10% off online and the foods always amazing. Pad Thai & Crab Rangoons, I personally go for the apps because they’re always fast and hot on the plate.Thai culture is different from Vietnamese, Laos and very different from Chinese and Japanese so expect minor differences!!! They also have a 5 star spiciness rating system and be warned, 5 star is actually spicy so ask for a side of spices to build it up yourself.Very fun, relaxed atmosphere, feel free to ask for them to change the channel or play a specific playlist, they’re amazing people that just want to make your experience the best it can be!!!
Unfortunately, I was totally ignored when I entered this restaurant. At no point was I at the very least greeted and assured that I would be served soon. There were 2 people working the front of the restaurant and there appeared to be 3 small parties in the restaurant; I came at a relatively slow time. One worker was on the phone taking an order and the other was waiting tables. A party of 4 came in before the worker on the phone was done. Once his call was done (within a minutestill without acknowledging me; he proceeded to speak to the table of 4. I shared my frustratation, and without an apology he began making excuses. While I could understand, the the phone being a priority and needing to take the call; I can’t understand being ignored and overlooked. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
Very patient and accommodating staff. They all worked together to explain certain dishes, individualize orders, and ensure we were happy with our dinner. Oh, and the food was delicious.
I visited here on 6/5/18 and they have moved to the next door. It is more bigger now and large bar table. On Tuesday’s they have 30% off all day and 1/2 price drinks from 5-7pm. Food quantity is good. Tell them clearly about the spicy level. Overall nice experience. They do have special lunch menu as well which has combos.
This place is a shining example of the best Thai food in the area! The price of the dishes is fair, the quality is great and the service is friendly. The Nime Chow is a phenomenal starter and I’ve fallen hopelessly in love with the drunken noodle dish with the lightly fried chicken. The atmosphere here is great too, recently renovated and ready to seat! This place is certainly worth a little bit of a drive, doesn’t seem to have a wait often and has a big menu with a lot of choices!
Ambiance was very pleasant. Food was delicious! Best Authentic Pho for this area! Be careful of spicy levels. At a 1-10 rate, a 7 was scorchingly good. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu options. Found a keeper.
Lotus has the best food, but they never answer their phone! There have been at least 4 occasions that they simply didnt pick up or the number was temporarily disconnected. If you can get through, though, they have excellent noodle and curry dishes. My favorite place for Thai food--just cant give 5 stars.
Small Thai restaurant with delicious food. Loved the Pho is was great and such a large serving. I also tried bubble tea and liked that too. All the food looked wonderful and the service was very good. Ill definitely return.
I tried the Lotus Restaurant on the recommendation of a friend and I was not disappointed. I ordered the Vegan Pho soup and it was fresh, hot and delicious! I will definitely be coming back to the Lotus Restaurant! Fresh, hot, delicious food and great customer service!
Very good food, nice spice level, and very friendly staff. The staff seems to be a mix of Thai, Lao and Cambodians, but the food definitely seemed to be more of a Thai style. Everything our party of 9 ordered was delicious. Portion sizes were just right, not huge, but not small either. Great place.
The good is always delicious every time I come to eat here. The staff is pleasant. I love all the dishes it is so hard to make up my mind on what to choose. Very affordable.
The entrees offered are nothing short of fantastic. Its a nice cozy setting with a friendly staff and owner. Id highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys fine Thai cuisine.
AMAZING! SIMPLY THE BEST!We came here as a party of 7...the owner set us up a great space. We were extremely load and doing our best not to distrupt others but we were just too excited. The owner instead of being upset as we were expecting, he was all about it. He helped upgrade our orders and everyone was very satisfied with the orders! He then helped with our drink orders and we simply loved the names like The Trump or Hillary drinks! We tried the lotus fire shot..which they even dimmed to the lights for us to see the fire pouring with the drink! ... we left very happy and satisfied!
This is one of those hidden gem kinda places. Doesnt look like much from the little shopping center where its located, but inside is freshly prepared and well executed dishes. When the place is busy it may take a while to get your food, but I will always wait longer for better food. Will definitely be back the red curry duck was decadent and had great texture.
Wow, this is now our favorite Thai place. The spring rolls are scrumptious, tightly wrapped with fresh filling. We shared tonights special, the crispy pork chop, and it was so delicious and filling that we had no room for more than a bite of the Pad Thai (which was fabulous). The people are wonderful and the vibe is great. We will be back.
