66 Court St S, Thunder Bay, ON P7B 2X3, Canada, Thunder Bay
Sophisticated, intimate bar & restaurant offering steaks, seafood, cocktails & a long wine list.
Food, drinks and staffs are amazing
It was an all around great experience, they were able to offer a lot of gluten free options. The gluten free options didnt have to be modified too much so you can enjoy the food the way the chef intended.
Amazing food as usual. Our server Alex was the best❤️
Great food!! Friendly staff!! Awesome atmosphere for small dinners, family gatherings and romantic date nights! The oysters were amazing and the wine was generously varied. Definitely check this out. Competition has come in across the street however this is the classic Thunder Bay experience.
Great food and service.
Great food great place
Good service, awesome food!
Great food and service. Filet was cooked nicely and the veggies were delicious.
Amazing service and a unique menu that feels like a good use of local ingredients
An iconic restaurant of Thunder Bay and one that very much deserves 5 stars!
My vegetables were cold...food was just ok. Nothing special. Pear and blue cheese salad was good.
Was just there tonght and just like the many other times we were there it was awsome !. Friendly staff, delicious food all around great place.
Food was great we had the chicken gorganzola and crusted parm chicken, the duck, steak and chicken bacon linguine. Portions were good. Food tasted amazing and the service was great. The best part is I didnt need to cook or clean.
The food and service was phenomenal. It made me come back for a couple days in a row. It is so nice to have wait staff remember your name and your order, and your favorites
Love the atmosphere here. The food is always great. Service is 50/50 some nights we have the most amazing server and other nights its just so/so ... but we will always go back. 😁
Absolutely amazing experience for fine dining amazing food atmosphere and the service is phenomenal come see the bartender Devin for the best drinks in TBAy
Our waitress was great. I tried the bacon brie pizza and it was amazing! Great atmosphere, clean and tables are nicely distanced.
Brittany was our server, she was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious.. 10/10! Highly recommend Lot 66!
This was our first time going to Lot 66 and Im so glad we did. Its my new favorite restaurant in Thunder Bay. Restaurant is beautiful and looks like they have a patio in the summer. Everyone was very friendly, inviting, and efficient. Drinks were great and food was spectacular. They serve delicious focaccia with oil and balsamic once you order. We had the escargot and ahi tuna for appetizers and the duck breast and gorgonzola chicken breast for mains. The food was beautiful and made with so much love. I didnt shut up about my chicken all night and the next day. Im still drooling over it! Cant wait to go back again.Special thank you to Mike and Britt for taking such good care of us!
Food was amazing! Love to support local & everything is made in house. Great hospitality & atmosphere. Appetizer, main dish was delicious.
Went here to celebrate my husband’s bday and we’re both pleasantly surprised by the food. Some restaurants in Tbay we find have inflated reviews with subpar food but this place is actually great. We loved every thing that we ordered. Crazy busy though so service was a tad slow but overall a very nice experience as Lot66 first timers.
Definitely one of my go-to places! The service is amazing, the food is delicious. What more can you ask for?
We visit here often, its always our favorite place to stop for a drink or dinner. The place is spotless clean, wait staff are amazing, lots of free parking and all covid policies are followed. You need to eat here.
Some of the best food Ive had in thunder bay. I had the maple salmon with risotto and the girl friend had the lamb with mashed potatoes. We also had 2 starters; crab cakes and calimari. Everything was super good. I highly recommend the fruit cocktails they make in house (and are only $4.very good! I think me and the gf will go again, and I will definitely get the salmon again. One of my favorite dishes of all time.
Our dinner stop in Thunder Bay started out horrendously. Then, we found this quaint little spot. They were far less busy then the other restaurants around it. It wasnt listed on travel advisor. BUT, what a miss itd have been if we didnt end up walking in.The steak and the pasta were both great. The mushroom/potatoe, gravy combo was sooo good. The waitress was amazing, she went above and beyond to make sure our take out order was of the highest standard.Very pleased with the quality of the meal and the effort put in by the staff.
High quality food and flavors for a good price, very friendly and accommodating staff, would highly recommend for any special occassion, or if youre just looking for quality cuisine for great value. I will definitely be visiting again next time Im in Thunder Bay.Value 5/5Quality 5/5Service 5/5
Great service and an amazing meal. Felt like we were back in Italy! We both shared the mushroom crostini and crab cakes appetizers and enjoyed the bolognese pasta and shrimp and scallop pasta. Amazing, tasted so authentic. Highly recommend and we will be back!
Food was great but probably the worst service I’ve ever experienced, threw us in the back room when multiple tables were available, came every 30-40 minutes to see if we were okay. Asked 3 times for bread which was forgotten over and over again. Overall food was great (priceybut experience was less than average.
Great service. Ordered the artichoke hearts but they didnt agree with me, not sure if the cooking style changed but they were very deep fried from what I remember. Told the server this and she was nice and didnt put it on the bill. The new york steak was excellent.
Food was tasty albeit somewhat pricy, place seems popular with 20 somethings on a Saturday night. Thin crust pizza was tasty but crust is awful (throw out the recipe!Waitress was friendly and funny but service was slow and food took a while. Might be better on a less busy night. Nice place and decent food but not exceptional for the price.
Nice little surprise to find in Thunder Bay, very efficient staff, I would go back in a flash, great wine selection. We ordered the duck and steak...duck was perfect... The steak had to have a redo since the blue was missed the first time, but they were able to redeem themself on try 2...and the risotto was impecable!! Worth a detour if you in the aera..
Quite enjoyed the meal, service was very nice as well. Clean welcoming environment. Sorry no photos was to busy eating and enjoying company of others.🤗
Excellent! Professional & friendly staff, the food was perfect! For a gang of 22 people, the food flowed easily to the tables & the empty ones left quickly. The chef & his team were well orchestrated. Thank you for the fine dining experience!
food was quite good.servers were great. we were there with a rather large group so taking orders and serving occurred accordingly with arrival of all guests. it was quite busy, a bit cramped and pretty loud. I couldnt hear what the person across the table was saying at times. overall a good experience. resources locally for their menu items, which I always love to see.
Thoroughly enjoyed a delicious dinner in Thunder Bay, Ontario tonight at #Lot66. The food was creative and beautifully presented. Everything tasted delicious and the atmosphere was really hip, festive, and fun. Thank you Chef/Owner Mike Roulston for a fabulous evening!
Havent been to Lot 66 for some time. Went recently with a group of friends. Dinner reservations were 6pm and the restaurant was packed. As each couple brought a bottle of wine, we asked if we could pick out some items off the menu and have it served family style. Mike (chef/owneragreed. We had the mushroom crostini, charcuterie board, veal chops, truffled mushroom risotto and pear and walnut salad. Service was quick and attentive. Only negative was that the restaurant was quite loud, which made conversation difficult. However, the evening was excellent and everyone had a great time! Will definitely be going back more often.
Great atmosphere. Great and prompt service. Risotto Balls need some help; 2 orders and the rice was undercooked both times. Price is $$$. Always a hot spot for meeting up with friends.
Awesome spot for a date or even just drinks. Really cool atmosphere inside, with a very neat ceiling. It may seem small from the outside, but there is a considerable amount of space and even private rooms for larger groups. The food is on the expensive side and definitely worth it, very tasty. I had the duck with blueberry reduction and it was superb. A little noisy in when I was there but it was a saturday and that is to be expected as it was pretty much full. Also, they have a pretty large list of wines.Overall a wonderful experience! A cut above other places in Thunder Bay. Will be returning in the future!
Amazing food and great service and the chef personally came out to discuss my allergy. Would of gave 5 stars if there was a change table in the bathroom. Also it goes up on a slant and seems like a safety hazard especially since the one toilet is on the slant. Salmon came with risotto which I felt overpowered the dish since it had a lobster cream sauce on top. Was also hoping since said lobster cream sauce its include a little of actual lobster.
I am impressed with the service every time I’m in this restaurant. Even if we are just stopping in for a drink, the bartender is friendly and welcoming. The menu variety is exceptional. The quality of food always exceeds expectations and the quantity leaves you satisfied. This is a ‘must’ destination for visitors to Thunder Bay—even if it’s just to sit at the bar, have a drink and a friendly conversation.
Food was either tasteless or just salty. I certainly could not finish. We were in a side room that was so hot that we were all uncomfortable. I brought it to the servers attention and she certainly didnt seem to care. She certainly did not do anything. I was at this restaurant years ago and was excited to go back. I was very disappointed. The service was good though.
The food is delicious. The chef personally came to talk to everyone to ask how the food was which was really appreciated. The servers are very attentive as well.
Excellent food. Very nice service. Expensive. Everything good or externally good; Give 4 because the parking lot isnt pavement and my shoes got dirty on a raining day.
The staff was attentive and helpful, and the food was delicious! We ordered: Classic Caesar, Bourbon Apple Cider, Oysters, French Onion Soup, Duck Breast, Crown Royal Maple Creme Brulee, Persian Cheesecake. The drinks were tasty. The oysters were served with freshly grated horseradish and a smokey-sweet cocktail sauce, and all combinations lit up our tongues. The soup was as such as we hoped and extremely satisfying. We each ordered the such breast, one medium and the other medium rare. They were cooked to perfection. The duck was the good kind of gamey, and the sauce was incredibly complimentary to the duck and the large chunks of veggies alongside the main course. Finally, we couldnt decide in a single dessert so we had two. The combination of flavors in the creme brulee was new but welcomed - a great marriage. Were still not quite sure what made the cheesecake Persian, but it was light and tasty.Wonderful fare for an appropriately expensive price!
Loved the atmosphere, concept, and the food. Great selection of drinks and very easy to focus your attention on your date/companions. Definitely visit here at least once to try it out!
First time here last Saturday night. I was fairly loud due to a Christmas party, but we still had a wonderful dinner. The chef came to our table twice to check on us, and apologize for the noise level. The food was very high quality. We had escargot and shrimp appetizers, and lamb and veal main courses. We also shared the artichoke salad. Every dish was as delicious as the next. I couldnt eat another bite. We will be returning!
They need to learn how to make classic cocktails. I asked if they make a good old fashioned and he told me yes. After I tasted it (awfulI asked him how he do it. He told me 12 drops of bitters. That is ridiculous. I took one sip and threw it back. Didnt make me anything else and still charge me the 10$ for it because my taste didnt like it. Food was very good tho (beef Carpaccio & cheese platter)and good wine selection. Im sitting at Caribou tonight and enjoying every single drop of my well made Old Fashioned.
Great little spot with good menu options. I recommend the duck with blueberry reduction. Overall its a little pricey and the portions arent overly huge if youre a big eater. But if you want to stuff yourself go to Montanas for all you can eat ribs. This is a nice spot to take your spouse or a date. Remember to make a reservation and ask for a corner table, it will be much quieter. Parking to the side in a smaller lot.
The food was great! Loved it! The service however was lacking. Our waitress was unprofessional in several ways... I feel she would be better suited at a place like Kelseys or east side marios. Lack of maturity. She also spoke about having gone out before working her shift which explained why her service was poor.
Menu is one of the best if not THE best in T Bay. Food quality and presentation outstanding. Depth of wine list more than impressive. Service was congenial and strove for making my experience enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend this locale to anyone who seeks a more than average experience.
