Awesome steaks, goos service
Absolutely incredible. The very best gluten-free bread I have ever had with outstanding pasta dishes. The ravioli sauce was rich and flavorful. A great restaurant if you aren’t celiac, and if you are celiac you must go here, it’s incredible!
MoreEl ambiente es muy agradable los precios muy ajustados a las proporciones del pedido. Diría que en cuanto calidad precio es muy bueno la comida muy buena y los camarones muy atentos y amables. Recomendado para familia o citas ✨
MoreToo expensive for meals offered
MoreOne of the best restaurants I have ever been in my life. The ojo de bife premium was perfect, not too salty and juicy. The drinks are very good too and they have cappuccino as well.
MoreThe waiter sent me away stating: "WE DO NOT HAVE PARRILLA" ?????
A high quality restaurant, perfect for taking someone out. The octopus was top notch! Loved the sauce it came with.Pricy, but worth it for a nice night out.
MoreSuperb food and drink at a remarkably good price. Like all places we’ve visited here, they’re patient and helpful with fumbling Americans new to the language. Our favorite among restaurants in Montevideo.
MoreMuy buena comida. Seguro vuelvo
MoreJust great all over.Great service.Great food.Love the ambient. Its an open kitchen restaurant. I ate the BBQ ribs, a bit simple in taste, but thats just the overall culture of food here in Uruguay, the pork slide right off the bone, simply delicious 😋
MoreThe best service and high quality food with fresh ingredients
Everything was really tasty with great service! Highly suggest this place for an amazing meal. The steak was cooked perfectly.
MoreReally good food selection and the options we had were so great and testy! Crispy pizza was just great! The restraint itself is so moody. We definitely love this place 😍🔥
MoreGreat gluten free restaurant with plenty of vegetarian options too. We had dinner one night and then afternoon tea the following day. Portion sizes are large so order to share
MoreWent for a business meeting after a colleague recommended this place. Was not disappointed at all! Appetizers were delicious. Especially the spinach fritters and lamb empinadas. The pizza was tasty and the crust baked perfectly in the brick oven. While the waiter didnt ask us how we wanted our steaks cooked, they were done to perfection. The side salad was fresh, delicious and plenty to share. We didnt have any room for dessert but Im sure they are great as well. Definitely a great place for dinner.
MoreWeve got there, me, my wife and 2 daughters. Very fancy, waiters nicely dressed, well designed place. Food pretty pricey, 25% composting to other places we visited. Not friendly for kids . They seemed very uncomfortable looking the girls running. Good was served relatively quick . Steak ordered not done right, very sticky and hard to eat. Salad was few leaves of vinegar. Not recommended for family. Maybe a trendy place for youngster
MoreWe absolutely loved this restaurant. Located not far away from Montevideo main square it is cosy, nicely styled and has a bit of a tropical feel to it thanks to big plants and wickeres chairs. The place also has a small bar area and there are several cocktails on the drink menu. The food is really very delicious, every meal we ordered was a success, especially the octopus starter and the steak from the mains. Attention: portions are huge!Highly recommended! We would love to be back again and try some other dishes from the menu.

Good food and wine.
Good service, excellent food, lovely ambience. Recommend
Great food and service!
Beautiful ambience but quite pricey and not very vegetarian friendly and no vegan options at my time of visit. All of their main meat dishes come with a side, but their veggies dishes don’t, even though they are equivalently priced. Also, the wine by the glass is very overpriced for the area, about 180 pesos ($6which is double what you can find in similar places.
MoreThe Ojo de Bife with Chimichurri and Salsa is awesome! The bitter chocolate mousse is also very tasty.
MoreIt is a must If you come to Montevideo. Excellent food and great service.
Very good food, excellent atmosphere and experience. The spinach fritters and spinach y queso side were especially great. Highly recommended for dinner.
MoreIncredible! Best ribeye steak I have ever had. Wish I had a picture to share. Definitely will come back when in town
MoreI love that it’s all gluten free but we paid 710 for two fillet steaks (bife de lomoand they were really chewy even at medium rare! Friends have told us that this is usually when they pre cook and then re heat(!I’ve never heard of that before though. Service charge is 110 URG pesos each, and they remind you that this somehow doesn’t include tip. An expensive meal. Nice vibe and very busy though, need to book ahead.
MoreNice atmosphere, gluten free breads and in the house
My fiancé and I took a trip to South America and couldnt believe our luck when we walked in to Los Leños. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the overall ambience of the place was inviting and aesthetically beautiful. Whether you spring for a glass of wine or an original cocktail (or maybe both!you cant go wrong as their bartenders are always on point. Highly recommend the octopus entree (pulpo), and the ribeye steak! Both expertly cooked with gorgeous presentation. Funny story, I actually left my phone at the bar after dinner (wine + a cocktail, whoops), and Emmanuel went above and beyond to find us on Facebook to return it to me. When we came back the next day to pick it up, we stayed at the bar (naturallyfor a drink, and Nicolas provided us with stellar service and great recommendations for house-crafted drinks and other activities around the city. If you ever find yourself in Montevideo, its a must-try. You will not regret it!
MoreOk
This has got to be the coolest restaurant in Montevideo! Excellent cocktails and food and the cosy, elegant ambiance was great, but still casual. It was a perfect stop for a nice meal when traveling!
MoreSometimes it takes too long to arrive the food, but this restaurant always have great dishes.
MoreThe perfect gluten free restaurant! The recommendations and all dishes are home-made. A must in Montevideo!
MoreEverything was just perfect!
This place was recommended to us by a local friend from Montevideo, simply because it near our hotel, and we were tired and hungry, having just arrived from Colonia by bus on a rainy afternoon. The restaurant was really beautiful and unique in terms of decor. However, we were informed that Lunch was over, and Dinner would not start until 7pm. We were there at around 3pm, so, the only thing that we could order was snacks and sandwiches etc. We ordered something akin to a High Tea spread for 2 persons, and were served with an array of sweets, cakes, buns, brownies, and coffee/tea. There was just too much for 2 persons, and the quality of the meal was of a good standard. We would have loved to come back for a proper meal, but there were just s many other restaurants to try in the city.
MoreGreat food and cocktails, they really nail their menu items even without the use of mighty Gluten, honestly didnt know until after the fact. Hospitable staff and cool vibe. Would recommend.
MoreAwesome atmosphere!
Great food and drinks. Staff was terrific.
Helpful staff. Very flavorful and filling dishes. The gluten free bread was similar to sourdough. Some people came in just for appies and a cocktail, which is a good idea before a night out. Great selection of wines to pair with the menu.
MoreGood food, and good service
This is a fabulous place to stop for a drink while you wait till the appropriate hour to have dinner in Uruguay. The bartender was brilliant and quite theatrically mixed us the best drinks. Wonderful decor with ferns everywhere and a completely gluten menu, for those that require it.
MoreExcellent food, all 100% gluten free!!!
Interesting new decoration which has helped business if not service which was millennium non interested and badly paced. The ojo de bife however was well prepared and flavorful. Plating was a little dramatic and it was on the Nuevo Garcia side of pricing but a good addition to the area when the staff gets over itself. One other comment about UY restaurants in general: does anyone actually test the chairs before they buy them. Every place in the country, almost, has the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever parked on! Amazing.
MoreOk restaurant, good atmosphere.

This is a good parilla to visit if you want to get a feel for great Uruguayan beef. The menu is very good and the service is attentive but your in Uruguay so dont expect to be seated just seat yourself. The dont always have staff that speaks English but the menu is manageable al Punto is medium jugoso is rare and azul seems to be seared
MoreGreat grill! Have been every time Ive visited Montevideo.
