Must stop when hanging out in Old San Juan. They have these awesome shot drinks called "chichaitos" in multiple flavors must try at least one.

As for the rating , i dare go above and beyond ,Come and enjoy a wonderful atmosphere ,great people from all over the Island and visitors from around the world..Experience the specialty which consist of an typical and classic shot from the island that dates back to our grandfathers....But has been conffectionized into a variety of flavors for the millenniums of today...even are old folks would agree that they are quite better then years ago...And threw it all , the great service and fantastic vibe that the employees share with awesome customers that have had great experiences speaks for itself...Serving people and sharing a enjoyable moments is what makes this place great to spend time as you visit Puerto Rico... And as the old saying goes when you have our shots...Parriba ,pabajo ,pal centro y pa dentro..🇵🇷 Salud...

Awsemo dive bar the wall are decorated with dollar bill not sure what the background for this is they have local beers and something call chichaitos wich is a shot of Rum and agua ardiente you can add flavor to this shots too

I called this the dollar bar before I knew its actual name because of all the dollar bills all over the walls and everywhere else lol. In fact thats why I stoped in for the first time because I thought it was a cool to see. Ive come here a few times with friends, we drank, we danced, we colored some dollar bills, taped them to the wall and had a great time. Great people. Very welcoming. Even if you dont drink and bars arent your thing, stop in and look at how cool this place looks!

What a great bar!! Awesome people! Awesome drinks! Giorgio and Tony were very accommodating and made me feel welcomed! Together with my whole family, we had a great time! Tony helped me get a dollar bill on the ceiling, signed by my family!! You must visit if your in old San Juan!! Don’t forget me Giorgio! I’ll be back!!

Awesome place to spend some time while stopping on a cruise. Theyve got fantastic craft beer and shot selections! I spent most of the morning walking around Old San Juan and landed here, the perfect place around for cold AC and cold beer! Ill absolutely be back. Thanks for the hospitality!

Fun little bar service was good. A little off-put for having to show my vax card when there’s no mandate for it. Also they made me lift my shirt up to show if I had weapons which makes ya wonder about the place…other then that the service inside was great and it had a fun atmosphere.

Good coffee, nice people, the sitting area outside was lovely.

Rudest service worker encountered on my entire trip. The bouncer was incredibly condescending to my group of friends and I. Other than showing our Vax cards and IDs (currently mandated by the government), he demanded that the men lift their shirts to nipple height to prove that we didnt have firearms AND then proceeded to tell us the "proper" way to wear a mask as if we were children aged 5.The service might be great inside- but expect a horrible experience on the way in.

Specializing in their own chichaitos (sambucca-based flavored shots), this bar shines with its great bartenders and unique vibe. Good selection of local beers.

I cannot rave enough about this place! It is very intimate bar, well-lit. The alcohol price was beyond reasonable, bordering on a steal. The lone bartender was super friendly and had offered many suggestions based on our taste. Be sure to try their $1 shots of many flavors. There is also a jukebox where you can queue up a song(sthat you want to hear. The music wasnt too loud that you couldnt hear the person next to you, but loud enough that you could dance to it.Finally, if you wanna leave your mark in this bar, you are welcome to borrow their markers and other coloring things to decorate a dollar. They will then recommend a place for you to tape it up with some adhesive!

One the best bars in Old San Juan. They used to be at a different spot but this one’s even better. Chichaito de parcha! A must!

If you are visiting Old San Juan this place is a most visit.Update Sep 2021 - Still the undisputed place for a cold beer and "chichaitos" in Old San Juan. Try the "Cookie Dough chichaito" or a classic one like the acerola one.

35 diferent Chichaito flavors, What is Chichaito, is a liquerish rum shot, sweet with the kick of the rum; Today I try the Caramel one, just delicious.

You going to love the place. Unique place to have a great time alone or in company. The service from the moment you enter until you leave is of quality, it is good that you live the experience.

This place was an amazing experience. You can choose you own music and buy chichaitos at $1, all flavors are good. My favs were coco and the original. However, due to covid-19 everythings closing earlier than usual

This is an awesome place in Old San Juan You may walk right past it but you would miss out on a great time. Ciro our bartender was great! He was attentive and even stopped us before we left to write out a list of cool places we could check out all over the island while we were here for a week! Thanks Ciro!!! You are awesome! Also try the mani pique (spicy peanutshot. Sounds strange but was delicious.

Awesome little locals bar where youll find the service staff from surrounding places after work. The walls are covered in dollars. The drinks are cheap and available to-go. More chichaito flavors than I could count. Medalla & chichaitos for $1 and Magna for $2. Bring money for the juke box, or ask for the gaming controllers and play against your friends at the bar.

Unique experience with personality you will want pictures in this bar as a tourist. Bring cash they do accept card but have a ten dollar minimum with no tab according to a sign at the bar. Very positive experience drinking here both times.

Very fun place for drinking chichaitos! They have something like 40 flavors! Our bartender was super attentive! Only had drinks, dont know about the food. Inexpensive and relaxed. (The bar stool are terribly uncomfortable.)

Little crowded. Service and security was ok. No parking, the close one is Doña Fela. They dont allow reggeaton music. Keep it un mind if you like that music. Prices was good to be in Old San Juan. I dont try the food, but they serve some sandwiches options.

One of my favorite bars in Old San Juan. It is usually packed on Friday and Saturday nights. Try the chichaito shots but be careful it will lay you on your azz.

Its a nice place to hangout with friends. Para ser San Juan, it has good prices. Good music. Sometimes it gets really crowded, so be up for it. You can take pics at the music booth. They have different chichaito flavors.

Me and my gf went there with some of her friends for a couple of beers after she was done with some training she was receiving. Good music, good atmosphere, cool decor. We had in total 6 beers and it came out to $9. Very good pricing for Old San Juan.
