Lorimar Vineyards and Winery in Temecula

While the Lorimar winery is beautiful, I’ve been to many wineries in the Temecula Valley, and I didn’t feel the food was very good. It really didn’t have a good taste and the presentation was kind of sloppy ,the pizza came out cold, and the shrimp ceviche had no flavor at all. very mediocre. The band was so loud you couldn’t even have a conversation at the table at all. I don’t think it’s going to be my choice in the future.

Honestly one of the best and my favorite winery in Temecula. We were recently married on Veterans day (11/12/22at the Coach House and everything was perfect. Ashley is absolutely awesome as a coordinator. Communication is always key for weddings and it exceeded our expectations all the way from when we toured the Coach House to when we were done partying. Great venue, staff, grounds and affordability no matter the size of the party. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking. You wont be disappointed.

Fabulous wine tasting and great live music made this an entertaining visit. Worthwhile as a great place to mingle and just have some fun.

We have been to this location for both wine tasting and a couple comedy events. Both have been very enjoyable. The location is conveniently and easy to find. They have an inside tasting area. A members area. They have a couple outdoor area that are perfect to enjoy with friends or bring a picnic snack for that romantic time with your someone special. There are great views over the vineyards and a great sunset.As I mentioned we attended a comedy event here a couple times. During the outdoor event they have of course wine but also beer and food choices that are good. I wouldn’t call the dinning great but very good if attending a comedy event and similar to any other venue hosting such an event. During this event we have had the same server each time. She hustles to keep up with all her tables but doesn’t make you feel rushed.We enjoy this location and will be back.

This winery have great live entertainment. The environment is warm and very welcoming I love the atmosphere and the food is really good. The wine list is not one of my favorites however, its not bad. I highly recommend to my friends and family

Went wine tasting there with family was very nice our wine steward was great and very knowledgeable.

Went to Lorimar with family to enjoy some wine and catch up with each other. The music was so loud, Woody and the Harrelsons, love the band but we couldnt hear each other talk, we were basically yelling at each other across the table! Jake was our waiter and he was fabulous and very attentive and just overall a great guy!

Hello, my husband Frank Wilson and I are wine club members. The last two times we have been there our waiter has been Jim (he has a mustache in case you have more than one Jim). Our experience with him both time has been amazing. He has gone out of his way to take care of us. I watch him with your other customers and they are never wanting for anything at their tables either. Today the winery is busy with an event and many parties or so it seems to me. You should know that Jim is attentive, engaging, funny and knowledgeable. He gives you 110% as your employee because he excels at customer service. Both time he has been our waiter he has also gone out of his way to help this shift mate and support them in keeping all your customers happy. Will I always make an effort to ensure Jim is our waiter if he is here… YES!!! He goes above and beyond for you and for us! Please let him know that he is wonderful and his efforts are appreciated!!!

Great wine! Highly recommend the white merlot. Owner is very sweet. Great taste in music. The live band was sooo good.

Fun outing for the family. Tasting room is open for everyone (Mondays to Thursdays). We were going back and forth between the tasting room and our table. Live music starts at 1:00. It would be a good idea to call ahead and confirm.

Food was okay, the wine was not bad. The music on Sunday was pretty good and a lot of people came out.

I don’t understand how a winery can serve lunch on paper plates with plastic cutlery??? The food was awful. They served the charcuterie board with a sleeve of crackers in plastic wrap. The beef dip sandwich was super salty. I ordered the ceasar salad with no croutons as I’m GF and they brought it out with croutons. I picked all of them out and the waiter didn’t even apologize or care. The service was 2/10 and the food was 1/10. The winery itself was gorgeous and the outdoor space was nice. The wine was fine. I would try another winery in the area and give this one a miss.

Friday night live music was great. Dinner portions were big and filling. Blonde beer was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful

the staff is excellent, very accommodating and knowledgeable. the wine selection is good.the winery has a large seating area and the winery has several events which are always fun. the food is prepared by food trucks and they do a great job. definitely one of our favorites

Went there this past Sunday with my dear friends. We had a members tasting wow LOU you are the man with knowledge and humour turned an otherwise normal tasting into a trip around the world with informative comments on where and how the wine got its name and taste .then moving in to the outside restaurant woody and the harlesons played wow perfect what could of only made it perfect of course PENNY our server/waitress 10/10 fun fast and smiling lorimar wineries I cant wait to come back and im from the UK.

I called to get a quote on wedding pricing and availability. No one was available to speak with, so I left a message for the events department and requested a call back. A week goes by, and I hear nothing from Lorimar. So I call again, and speak with someone at the main number (I believe she said her name was Lori). I explain the situation, how I havent heard back from anyone, and tell her that I was calling to follow up. She was quite cold off the bat, only saying that they are probably just busy. She told me that I could try sending an email and see if I hear back on that faster. I told her that as I aleady left a message, I did not feel it was appropriate to ask me to try and hunt their salesperson down. I explained that I was really just looking to get my original call returned. She did not offer to help with this, and instead became extremely rude and unprofessional. She ended up just telling me "okay, have a good day then", right before she hung up. I can only be thankful that I found out about the horrendous customer service at this establishment before I wrote them a very large check. I suggest you take your business elsewhere, to somewhere will it will actually be appreciated.

There was a beautiful soul (workerwho glided across the patio so beautifully and effortlessly.The sound of the crowd cheering as he floated by and cleaned tables was wonderful. The environment and music was great- he made it extra special.

Saturday afternoon, sipping well crafted wine flights on a hot patio while cool misters gently spritz your shoulders, ambient music drafts thru the air, and you gush about life with family and friends. I think a core memory was just created!Lorimar is a wonderful winery for locals and visitors alike. Well priced, we grabbed a mixed wine flight (meaning white and reds5 selections for $25 each. It is also shareable!We also ordered the fig and procuitto flat bread which was decadent and light all at the same time. And then, we got crazy, and ordered the grilled cheese. Why? Because wine and cheese! #duhIt was served on a perfectly toasted sourdough and was oozing with 3 different cheeses but really, you had me at #fontinaService was fantastic. They were courteous and present, always taking the time to chat or inform us on the flight or food or winery.There are so many great photo ops around the property, and it feels so casual you can take your time exploring!It was busy but never felt packed.Pro Tip: grab a table reservation on Open Table so you can sit back and enjoy your time!

Winery has great food, wine and entertainment. They have grown dramatically over the last 5 years. Service used to be great and they had a very welcoming environment. They have become very cold and more like a Wilson Creek or Southcoast. Most resent change was a cork fee of $15 if you want to open a bottle from your own shipment of thier wine. There are lots of other options in the Temecula Valley.

My boyfriend and I did a wine tasting today and thoroughly enjoyed it! Makenzie was super sweet and helpful! We enjoyed our time!

We had been members a long time ago here but had let that go. We purchased a Groupon for a tasting. We happened to get Chris Gates for a severer and he did an excellent job. Next thing we know, we’re members again. Their wines are outstanding plus they have food and entertainment daily. The flatbread is wonderful

First time at a winery. Dan in the tasting room did an excellent job giving recommendations for tasting and the background of each drink. The restaurant was superb. If you’re going to order anything you need to order the organic pasta dish. Would definitely recommend this place!

Delightful wine flights and nice menu!

I’ve been here twice now and both times were SUPERB. Came during the week in the evening and got to hear some lovely live music and the wine was great. Came back this weekend with a large group and we got flatbreads and cheeseboards and everything was delicious. Highly recommend!!!

I’m a wine club member, so I LOVE the wine. I’ve been here many times to taste. Never to eat from their restaurant. We made a reservation and were seated right away. We waited 10-15 minutes before we were even acknowledged. We ordered a pasta dish and a flat bread. Food was great. We also ordered a bottle of wine with the food that never came to our table before we finished. Before the food arrived, I went in to get two glasses of wine with my membership. We drank those glasses while we ate. We were not approached once by our server to see how our food was and AFTER we finished our food, he came to check on us. We said food was fine but we never got our bottle of wine. He said “oh shit” and immediately game back to our table with the bottle. A little late bud. For context, it was a Saturday afternoon but they were not busy like I’ve seen on some occasions. Anyway. I guess come with low expectations and hope for the best.

Im giving a 3 only because we have mixed feelings.. If It was only Matt. The manager, it would be a solid 5... but once we went outside, it was a 0... sorry 😞 we sat there for at least 15 minutes with no acknowledgement.. I had to get up and ask for a server. A nice girl took our appetizer order but said I am not your server... I will get her for you.. After finishing our appetizers, we probably sat another 10 minutes with empty plates and empty wine glasses.. We were never approached by a server all though our time there. one walked past our table several times. We decided, we are out of here. We really enjoy all the Winerys, I doubt well be back to this one... Sorry Matt

This place was great!!! The food truck in the back had amazing food and the wine tasting was great too with a nice view. It is very crowded so make sure to plan ahead and either have a reservation or some time to wait.

This was their first New Year event, and they did an excellent job. Live band - Fear of Phobias - kept the place rocking and the dance floor full. The food was very good with choices for everyone. Weve been members for several years and always enjoy our time at Lorimar.

Worst winery in the area. We had a wonderful experience inside with an experienced wait staffed who helped us select a great bottle of wine. We were told we could sit anywhere. We wanted to enjoy the area outside with the music and when we sat down a waiter aggressively told us to order food or leave. We asked him about what we were told inside and we’re told to sit outside of the winery in the sun. While the wine was good my experience was tainted by the interaction with the waiter.

Very nice winery with a nice selection of wine. Live entertainment was very good. Had a lite lunch and food was delicious.

We went to Lorimar Vineyards because it is one the wineries opened after 5pm, although I remember being there before COVID. It was so much fun. The band was great and the ambiance excellent, people dancing and having fun. It was so refreshing and we became wine members. Very happy we were able to go back and we are now planning for future outings. Kudos Lorimar Vineyards and Winery!! 🥂

This was the second winery we stopped at during our trip!We decided to have some food here and were not disappointed with the flatbreads we ordered.We had one of the vegetarian options (with figand the second was the meat lovers.I also ordered a flight of wine here and I have to say the Riesling was my favourite. The only thing I didnt like about this location was that it was way too loud and the mist was right in my face which didnt help with keeping me cool - there werent any other tables available that would be COVID friendly which is why we opted to stay where we were.

Excellent music with singer Bossy Yolanda Johnson and saxophonist Kenny Rice, and great food, wine and customer service. Our waitress was awesome.

I always jump for joy when a couple wants me to photograph their wedding here because it is truly my favorite winery venue in So Cal. Even though Im in Orange County, I will always be happy to drive to Temecula for this gem. My favorite location is the barrel room reception area. With its rustic feel, lush vineyard, and twinkling lights, you cant go wrong with this venue!

First and foremost, thank you Erin, you represented Lorimar Winery with such fantastic hospitality and service. Constant checking up on our needs and water. Thank you also for the group picture. Tons more groups will appreciate all you do Im sure of it!The Ceviche has an authentic, fresh taste which as a Mexican, scores major points with me. We had our group of 12 accommodated quickly. The parking is accommodating and you can park next to the vineyards in the additional parking area with a short walk to the entrance. The Sangiovese was easily the tables favorite. Clean, quiet, with a scenic waterfall to enjoy as well.Thank you for the positive experience!

I photographed a May wedding here and it was literally perfect. Spring blessed us with a breezy 76 degree day. The couple had separate getting ready areas. Parking was plentiful and guests were taken by golf cart between the ceremony and reception locations. I cannot recommend this Temecula wedding venue enough!!!!!

A beautiful place to make great memories. My wife and I went here for Valentines dinner. We were greeted by really nice staffs though we were an hour early just to look around the vineyards. It was beautiful even in the evening with lights hanging over your head. It got a bit cold but they had heaters outside so it was fine. The dinner was quite nice but portion could be a little bit more considering its price. Other than that, its locations, services, taste, everything was on point. We’d love to visit here again.

I will suggest the second option

Not enough compliments for this gem. The brunch spread was exceptional both in terms of quality and variety. The staff treat everyone like a VIP and the vistas elevate the experience a full level more then the wine already does. Had the pleasure of touring with Chrystal, sampling with Penny and the hospitality of Matt (GM). Dont miss this opportunity if venturing to Temecula. Cant wait to head back.

Absolutely stunning winery. Fabulous wine and the music on Friday nights is a great date night or if you feel like dancing. So many areas to sit and sip excellent wine.

The buffet brunch is delicious. They served breakfast, light lunch options as well as grilled meats and shrimp pasta dishes 🍷Amaizing wine selection and knowledgeable wine conesour winetender, Richi!

This was the first stop on our tour and I️ was not disappointed. I’m not a wine connoisseur by any means but I really enjoyed a lot of their reds. This place also has a back patio where you can order food; the charcuterie board looked amazing. Staff was friendly, only downside was that it was very crowded.

This was a nice cozy winery. Small but with a nice exterior area. The food was not that great unfortunately. But the staff is really nice. Go there for the experience of wine tasting.
