Lorenzo's Pizza in Flint

First couple of Strombolis were great, last couple of orders have been off, to well done, to much cheese, absolutely zero flavor. Something is definitely off. Not sure I will be back.

Perfection. 👌 So much flavor in every bite. Visited from Detroit, which will be rough being a ways away because I will crave this all the time now.

This place has offered THE WORST encounter Ive ever had at a resturant!! I ordered a pizza a couple weeks ago from this place and myself and cousin were major sick as a result of FOOD POISONING!! After we felt better my cousin suggested we call and let them know as my family owns a resturant as well and would want to know. So I called and spoke with a young lady who identified herself as the owner who was very apologetic she even offered us a free pizza to replace the bad one which also had missing Bacon. After my reluctance to accept the free replacement pizza she said my name would be somewhere when I come, I told her it would not be that day (cause I had to think about it). So fast forward after a couple or few weeks I call and a guy Josh answers and I tell him they didnt add bacon just to make sure they did this time and I ordered it just like the one I had... . Sooooo I get there to pick it up and the guy Josh said you have to pay half, I tried to explain what the owner said and Josh actually said "Youre a Liar!" I was blown away this man kept calling me a liar! I told him to call the owner and she said I was lying as well!! They really did not understand who they were talking to, since the only reason I decided to call for the pizza cause I was out in Grand Blanc coming from Home Depot to return a grill that was not on my reciept and did not want to keep what was mine!Also this Josh guy ask me why was i getting all up in his face. When i was on the other side of the counter.........i just figured that was because i was Black. After trying to reason i just told the to keep the pizza it was not worth being called a liar and tripping with Josh.lol

They left toppings off my pizza that I paid for and didnt send part of my order. I contacted customer service and was told :"At this time, due to the details that has been reviewed along with the information I gathered in our system, were currently unable to extend compensation. We still encourage you to report issues like this in the future, so we can work to prevent these issues from happening.Thank you, again, for reaching out and reporting this concern.I know that this is a bit rough for you and we are actually doing our best to provide the best support. Its just that at this moment, I am unable to provide you with the assistance that you need. I hope that I am able to answer your concern.I would really love to help, however, my system wont allow me to issue a refund/credit or process redelivery for this order at this time. I apologize for this situation. I hope you understand."Now, would any of you be able to understand why that is? We are talking about just under $5.00 for petes sake.

Editing review, original review was a misunderstanding.Lorenzos pizza is really good, their large is bigger than most places large and is like an extra large size. They use the old style small pepperoni that crisps up and that is my favorite kind.

I’ve reviewed a lot of pizza because I am a bit of an aficionado. I ran a gourmet pizza restaurant as a much younger man. I know good pizza.Lorenzo’s is top notch. Fantastic ingredients right down to the Italian pepperoni that curves when it’s cooked. A wonderfully sweet sauce with just a hint of a spicy bite to it, and made in a real old-style pizza oven. In fact, one of the enjoyable parts of the experience is actually picking your pizza up at the store. The smell on walking in the door is outrageous.Unquestionably, Lorenzo’s is one of my favorite pizza joints. Top shelf.

The pizza I ordered today was absolutely Amazing!!! And it was just a 1 topping pizza. But was very GOOD!!

I’ve ordered here since they first opened. I think I’ve had every menu item and never once had a bad experience. They are welcoming and friendly and their pizza, wings, Stromboli, and grinders are all just the best.We used to order delivery from here so often that when we went on a diet and didn’t order from there for a few months, the delivery driver who I believe was the owner, asked us if they did something wrong and how they could make it right. This just goes to show how much they care about their customers.

This pizza is top tier, easily my new favorite! I recommend Lorenzos to everybody that asks me about pizza. No cap. Thanks for the great pizza!

Presentation nicely done, however the dough absolutely disappointing, the bread, no flavor, high in sodium. They did accommodate to making a Neapolitan pizza, I will give this establishment props for that.

By far the best pizza in the area.SO many toppings. Such flavor.Pizza has gotten thinner of the past month.Delivery is hard with staffing issues.Prices in line with the rest but you get so much more here.

Absolutely terrible pizza and stromboli. Tasted like cardboard and honestly the frozen pizza from the grocery store is better then their pizza. Was even worst when reheated up so we threw out. Waste of money.

Well I must say we USED to order pizza from here all the time, but will never again. We pay extra money for Lorenzos pizza because of the quality. The pizza we received could last as an MRE for YEARSSSS!! Crust was burnt like the day of reckoning, so little sauce you could barely see the red tint, and the topping were dehydrated like a pack of ramen vegetables. Dave yourself the money and order from PapaJohns.And to top it off…. The manager said “that’s just how they come out some times”. L. O. L.

Ordered a pizza from here today for the first time in awhile. Have not been real happy since ownership changed to the lousy web design and talking to the workers is a pain. Regardless, my pizza tasted like it was made by someone who was mad to be there. I considered it a waste of 25 dollars. Ate two pieces and tossed the rest in the garbage. We wont go back again. It used to be my go to pizza but once it was bought out from the other guy it slowly changed to worse and now inedible. Maybe the person was having a bad day and this particular pizza took the brunt but I wont take the chance again. Little Caesars would have been better and thats SAD!!!

Definitely top 2 best pizza ever. Im 35!Next week: Hmm. Almost like a different pizza despite same order. Instead of fluffy yet crisp, this pizza was very flat, thin, and chewier—like it didnt rise at all. Both were hot and nice but #1 was better.Also, virtually any place will tell you ~25 minutes when it only takes 8 minutes to cook a pizza. I dont want 10- or 15-minute-old pizza. I never allow more than 12 minutes and Im almost never wrong. Same story here.See you next week!

Finally a real pizza place thats not scared to heap on the toppings with fresh salads and actual stromboli . I hadnt been this impressed and satisfied with "take out" in years. Thank you Lorenzos

Cheers to the young brunette girl who single handedly turned off two separate customers from ever returning. Called to order and was hung up on after saying thank you. Walked in payed for my pizza and said thank you (after she finished bullying the other girl working thereand was ignored. Walked through the parking lot shaking my head in shock with her attitude to hear another Customer say in his car “quite the experience in there huh?”. Great pizza and I always loved supporting their business but this young woman’s attitude problem who needs some customer service and human kindness training has made me think twice about returning.

Love Lorenzo’s! Grand Blanc has a lot of great pizza places, and we’ve tried them all. Lorenzo’s is easily top of the list and we order frequently! Online ordering is super easy, and picking up is a breeze! Had lots of good experiences with delivery over the years as well. We love their stromboli and bread sticks and I also love the chicken salad! Their pizza is obviously great as well (our favorite is the BLT!)

I usually have wonderful service from here, but today was a different story. I ordered online at 6:10pm and got a text confirmation that said 50 mins. a little over an hour goes by, and my boyfriend calls them about 7:45pm to get an update. They said at this point it was on the road, and i live not even 3 mins down the road so i figured it would be pretty soon. 8pm rolled around and I still didn’t have the pizza. I called again to ask for an update and the girl had told me she wasn’t sure what was going on because she remembered making it. She offered to call the delivery driver and they said it was delivered. The delivery driver told the girl working she delivered it to 2 boys, later to find out that they live in the townhouses right next to me. So i’m not sure if the driver didn’t check the address or what? Next thing i know the girl passed the phone to the owner and she had asked me twice if i had gotten the food or if there were boys that age in my apartment. I told her no and she offered to give me a refund or remake it for us, even though they were closed. I was quite upset at this point and was still hungry from not getting my food, so i asked her to remake the $35 worth of food that i had ordered for my boyfriend and i. The owner (i assumepersonally delivered it at 8:40pm, as i got a call from her to unlock the door for her. She came in and gave it to us, and was not very friendly. I appreciated her remaking it, but i didn’t like how she acted when she delivered it. I sit down to eat my small hawaiian pizza, and i noticed something didn’t taste right. I had my boyfriend try a slice and we picked toppings off, and most of it tasted fine, except the pineapples. So not only did i not get my food the first time around, when i finally did get it over 2 hours later, my pizza had pineapple that was bad. I’m really disappointed because every other experience i’ve had at Lorenzos has been great.

The service was great and the owner made my Pizza just how I wanted it. Thank you for having the best pizza. I was greeted when I came in and everyone was very polite even though they were very busy.

First time customers. And i have to say overall not impressed. We went with lorenzos tonight for its good reviews. Im not sure if i got the proper experience or not but our pizzas were pretty dry. They were nicely topped and looked and smelt great. Opened them up to find they were overcooked. The cheese pizza was pretty brown (dont mind brown cheese but this was too much). Pep pizza was ok cooked wise and the old world pepperoni is delish. However pizza was also pretty dry. Overall kind of bland on taste. 3/5 for pizza quality. 4/5 for presentation. 2/5 taste.However my issue is always with that of the employees. The girl who was in didnt make me comfortable, in fact the opposite. When i walked in and she got off the phone taking an order i was greeted with a "how can i help you" instead of the traditional "do you have a pickup etcso right away i felt unwelcoming vibe. She wasnt very friendly. I tipped them 5 bucks on 35 dollar order without a thank you. I thanked her repeatedly to not get a single response until i said have a good night i finally got back "you too"Needless to say i wont be ordering lorenzos again primarily just because we werent a fan of the pizza. My 3 year old hated it. But as far as the 1 girl, a little better people skills would go a long way.Edit* ftr i have over 12 years in pizza industry so i consider myself pretty experienced at criticizing pizza!

I ordered a large BBQ chicken with extra cheese, and a cheese bread. its hands down the best Ive had! well worth the drive from Lapeer

First time ordering from here. 2 hours after ordering and paying online no pizza. Even called an hour after placing order. Lady said should be in its way. Hopefully the can refund my 40 bucks. Update. They refunded me and made up for it

Ordered the pizza, cheese bread and pop special had it delivered through the app. Showed up on time but my problem is we got our pizza and an employee’s else half eaten smaller pizza that we were told was placed in the warmer with our food. Also didnt get any of our sides we paid for. Told us we would get reimbursed for the cheese bread and never got reimbursed. So my next step is to call the health department over this incident because this was my FIRST and ONLY time. I was trying to be nice and give yall the benefit of the doubt.So if you want some place to be CDC compliant with COVID-19 this is NOT the place!

First-time customers, we loved the entire experience! We ordered online 45min. before the posted closing time, but it was easy, fair value & the driver arrived 15min before EST. Arrival. The Pies were fresh & 🔥 plus its authentic local style. All Around A++ Lorenzos!

I ordered a Stromboli and it was cooked perfectly! I was very happy with my experience and highly recommend visiting here if you want quality made food. Customer service is great as well! Great family owned restaurant.

Not really seeing what the hype was about..the breadsticks were overwhelmingly garlicky with little flavor and the pizza (we ordered a supreme and a pepperoni, largehad a strangely bitter sweet after taste and very chewy crust..not New York pizza chewy like overworked dough chewy...definitely not worth the money

GREAT PIZZAId been looking for a good pizza place that wasnt a chain restaurant.I found it, the pizza was great with lots of cheese and topping and the bread sticks are great with plenty of flavor.I found my new best pizza place, I wont bother with any others.

As I have been disappointed in most of the pizza shops I have tried recently, I decided to try Lorenzos. I was not disappointed. They were excellent. This is the first pizza shop I have gone to recently that actually had a very good amount of cheese. I would highly recommend trying Lorenzos Pizza. You will not be disappointed.

Hands down the best pizza weve had in a while. The quality and price is great. No more fast food pizza for us lol so glad we found this place! The staff is delightful as well. Of course well be repeat customers.

I had my pizza delivered and It was a wonderful experience the wind was crazy yesterday and my trash cans had blown all over the road and I just recently had knee surgery. I was watching my grandkids and I was very stressed. The delivery driver with dark brown hair got out the car and before I could even bother to ask ran out and grabbed all my trash cans out of the road. First time customer and will definitely be back. Delicious pizza and great customer service.

First timer, Got the Sofia specialty pizza. Bacon, salami, feta and banana peppers. Perfect, the crust was absolutely perfect as well. Not too crunchy not too soft it was in between if you will. I will be stopping here again thats for sure.

We ordered this when we were cleaning the house we bought and my husband was blown away by how expensive it was. However, once we saw it, it wasnt expensive at all. We ordered a big Supreme and have never been here before so the worker told us it was pretty big. It was LOADED with toppings that were so good and fresh. I was blown away. We absolutely loved it and were so happy to find a pizza thats not just the same. It was so good and was great the next few days. It is a serious meal. I couldnt believe how heavy the box was! Amazing job to everyone here and thank you to the staff for remaining in good spirits when my husband was grouchy about the price. He was NOT disappointed.

Holden is a genuinely nice dude. Called several places that close later, and were closer than Lorenzo’s and was turned away with a delivery order. Holden hooked us up with the best customer service I have witnessed in a long time. As a professional I would like to thank him. Haven’t gotten the pizza yet but I am sure that I will not be disappointed.

Absolutely love this place! Some of the best pizza Ive ever had and at a great price. I live in Swartz creek, but making the drive to get some their pizza and bread sticks is well worth it! Started eating here about a year ago after a friend referred it to me, and now I will be a life long customer to Lorenzos!

Deserves a zero star. Ordered a veggie large pizza with extra topping. Had the lady who took the order repeat my order so there would be no errors in my order. When I got back home and opened the box and was shocked and dismayed to see a cheese pizza with no veggie toppings as I had ordered. I called them immediately and was greeted by a rude response stating that the person who took the order did not understand what i ordered . REALLY !!! I told her , the person repeated my order correctly. I requested her to make the pizza i had ordered originally and deliver it. She plainly refused.We took a bite out of a single piece of the pizza and THREW THE REST OF THE PIZZA IN GARBAGE . IT WAS TERRIBLE. The pizza was HALF BAKED and under cooked. This was THE WORST pizza we ever eat or will ever eat. We always order pizza from Jets or a national franchise place. Decided to give a family owned business some business and was met with a terrible experience !! Way overpriced for what they offer. Worst pizza and discourteous customer service !!

Use to LOVE your pizza. Not sure what has happened but after 3 visits of undercooked pizzas and garlic bread and it just really doesn’t taste the same so sadly we’ve changed pizza places. Not sure if you have new owners or workers but the pizza is very different. Been coming here for 3 years and the last 6 months or so something is different.

Had their pizza and bread for the first time today, by far the BEST pizza in Grand blanc/ Genesee county! Thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the quality and taste of Lorenzos!!! Garlic cream cheese dip is also AMAZING! This will be the ONLY pizza I will be eating from now on!

Pizza on Friday night has been a traditon in my family since I was a kid. We tried Lorenzos tonight and the whole family loved the pizza and stromboli. Well be back next Friday night!

Great pizza, breadsticks and salad! The pizza crust is thin and crispy, toppings are fresh and price is right. For $22 we got a large pizza, breadsticks and antipasto salad. The breadsticks are possibly the best ever lol. Im not sure why we havent been to Lorenzos before today but I know for sure this is our new pizza place!!

Not one for leaving reviews much but I absolutely love this place. We get it about once every 2 weeks or so. Great pizza, Breads, wings, salads and service. They are the most friendliest and satisfying place for a great price. Tonight I put my order in and 22 minutes after I received the confirmation email my door bell rang with a hot pizza and a smiling delivery guy. Sure, I burned my mouth because I couldn’t wait for the pizza to cool down but I regret nothing and will absolutely do it again if given the opportunity.

Got two 2 toppers for 18 out the door. Can not beat that. The crust. Their crust is the best crust I have had in the area. That and the jams that was being played night I went. When young people make pies to Deep Purples Highway Star, you know youve got some cool folks making your dough.

The owners of Lorenzos are the most AMAZING people! I have a daughter with Autism who is obsessed with their pizza. And by pizza, i mean their pepperoni! They send her large sides of pepperoni, even warmed up!, So that she feels a part of the dinner. Not only that, but they send her cups with their logos on it that she carries EVERYWHERE! They are the most amazing business, and their pizza is even better. Our family is so blessed to have found this place, and we love them like family!

Just moved to the Grand Blanc area in September, we’ve gotten pizza from here several times. It’s always so delicious, and whenever we get it delivered the driver is always so polite and friendly. I’d say this is one of the best pizza places in the area without a doubt. Love the staff!! You have to try the garlic cream cheese dip it’s DELICIOUS!! And their stromboli’s!!! You guys are awesome!

I had their pizza and it always been good for the value but today I wanted to try their Grinders. I ordered the BBQ Chicken one and had to be one of the best Grinders I have ever had. I will for sure be ordering more Grinders in the future. Thanks for the amazing Grinder Lorenzos; you guys rock and I put you above of all the main pizza chains out there.

I just moved here in the beginning of the year from Chicago (where REAL pizza was bornand Ive tried quite a few places here in Michigan. What a disappointment!! I dearly miss good pizza. HOWEVER.. despite the cheap greasy pizza here, this place has so far been one of the best places Ive tried in Michigan (especially for the priceIm not one to do reviews but after seeing a few poor reviews on here I thought this place deserved an educated review from someone who worked in a few pizza places for years, and eats pizza minimum of once a week... a pizza expert, so to say lol

Lorenzos Pizza is the best pizza I have ever had! The crust wasnt srale and rubbery as crusts from other pizza places have been. It was fresh, crispy, butteryand a perfect thickness. The toppings were as generous as the size of the pizza as well as fresh and tasty. The sauce ratio was perfection. I am so glad that we decided to get a pizza from Lorenzos, it will be the only pizza place we will patronize from here on out.

The best pizza in town! The staff is always friendly and smiling. The place is so clean! Prices are great and our pizza is always hot when we pick it up or have it delivered.The veggies are fresh and they use REAL mushrooms (my favorite). The sausage is super yummy too. Warning though.... when they say "Large pizza" , they mean a LARGE pizza. Oh..and the subs are sooo delicious!
