Loose Tie in Mount Pearl

Great spot for a date night! Food and drinks were great but the service was definitely slow.

A surprisingly good gastro lounge that deserves to be better known. Wonderful food!

This is the first time I’ve ever given a review for any restaurant. Out of all of the restaurants I’ve been to in my life, the food here was the best I’ve ever had.The pasta dish I had permanently raised my standards of what good food is and should taste like.I cannot stress this enough, please do yourself a favour and come eat here.I wish there was an option to rate this place more than 5 stars.

First time visit and had an amazing meal and service. To. Vanessa and all of the staff. You certainly appear to be proud of your spot. Everyone was engaged and very polite and professional. The food. Absolutely fantastic. We had duck with fresh chanterelles and moose pappardelle. Hats off to the kitchen staff as well. Can’t wait to go back!!! .

Great food and atmosphere!

First time in this lovely, local establishment and we all had a superb time! Went downtown to see local musicians @baccalieuband who were playing on @GeorgeStreetNL as part of #Rocktober in @DowntownStJohns. Menu selections were varied and tasty, higher end prices; great cocktails but few to choose from (I suspect due to current Covid-19 restrictionsambiance was super sleek and cool, clientele & staff were beautiful, trendy and happy. Highly recc Loose Tie for a great night out, especially when live music starts you out and you can seque into DJ or dance music 👍🏻

Friendly staff

Do yourself a favour and avoid this place. Drinks are ok but terrible food matched by terrible service. Seriously the place is dead on a Friday night and it took far too long for drinks and apps. Waited for nearly an hour for a bread and cheese board...really it was that bad. The sharing plates were a disgrace, not enough sense to provide bread to match the items. I know why the place was empty!

Nice lounge with great cocktails. Loved the gimlet and sazerac. Nice to see a higher end lounge on George street.

Solid bar, fairly expensive drinks tho so unless you want a well made cocktail youre better off drinking at home first

The chicken was amazing! And you have to try the Two Weeks of Heat! Best drink I have ever had in my life!

First off, their drink menu is unreal, all super delicious. Ive tried most of the drinks there and Ive loved almost all of them. The food however can be hit or miss. My first time there, everything was great, and tasted fantastic. The second time, everything was SUPER oversalted. Still would recommend, if only for the drinks alone, and Id still totally get more food there, as Id guess this was a one off

An amazing cocktail bar with amazing music and staff! Louis, Aaron and Alexi are amazing! Good place to go to if you want to get away from the traditional Irish music in a pub!!

Heard an ad on the radio for this place and wanted to check it out but it was closed saturday night? The door guy was just rude and shut the door in my face....kind of weird if you ask me
