Great venue and music love band was amazing. Good staff but need to listen but its loud so I allow the miscommunication.

Had a great time! this little place is great for private parties or just a night out with friends. The hidden room through the mirror was a fun feature! Will be back soon!

I went to Looking Glass last week again and had another amazing time so thought it was about time I left a review! I’ve been there a few times for birthdays and work events but for the last week went on a date with my husband. The atmosphere, music, bartenders and of course the cocktails, they were all superb! I’m also currently cutting back on the drinking so had a few non-alcoholic cocktails. These were better than the sugary fruity cocktails I’ve been offered at other establishments - I almost forgot I wasn’t drinking a booze drink. Thanks very much Looking Glass for your consistently fabulous hospitality - 5 stars!

Invited a crowd here for my birthday. Had an incredible time and have been several times since! Outstanding drinks, great service and electric atmosphere. The front room is great for catching up with friends, and the secret back room for when you’re ready to party!If you want to avoid the usual shoreditch crowds and look for unique and quality drinks that are actually worth London prices then this is the place!🍸 🥃 🪩🕺🏽💃🏽

Visited for drag bingo as part of a friend’s hen party - the venue behind the mirror is impressive, although the front section is absolutely tiny! The drag bingo was great fun and is clearly very popular.Cocktails are pleasant, although probably a little too rarefied for my tastes - would be great to see a menu of classics offered alongside the more out-there offerings.

French rock nights with cocktails are the best!

They try to sell overprice entry when then bar is very empty. Theres a hidden door on the mirror at the back and the room is great but not worth paying the entry

Fantastic place, on a busy night ask to go through the looking glass (a huge mirror at the back of the barwhich will take through to a speak-easy style large back room with a great DJs playing house music, plenty of seating, classic cocktails and a great selection of house beverages. The staff and mixologists are brilliant - I am so pleased to have this place in my area as it is unique and the kind of place that is missing in the wider area.It is unique and slightly upmarket but without the snobbery and prejudice. Also love their Bingo nights ... not what you would expect :-)

Fantastic night out - went for gingers big bingo and even though ginger wasnt there Envy did a bloody amazing job all credit from this Nana. Definately recommend - there were hen parties, older couple, girls night out of all ages. Great fun!

Came for Gingers Drag Bingo ... Had Envy the Queen host instead and we were not disappointed!!Such a good night, with lots of drinks, singing and laughs!!It didnt last quite as long as we expected as the bingo cards were filled quickly. A small shame they werent able to clear the tables away to create space to dance after but other than that 10/10 evening!

Great bar and an amazing cocktail menu. Bar tenders do a good show when mixing. Very expensive though.

Great place to hang out, really chilled and nice vibe. A nice change to the normal Shoreditch crowding. A special thank you to Joao as well who found my keys and kept them safe as well as being extremely friendly.

Staff were lovely but not really much of a hidden bar at all as there was an event on in the hidden bit.

Hi was here Saturday night for the drag bingo great atmosphere great music . Only complaint is no prizes me and my friend won but received nothing I’m not sure why? We have been to other drag bingo and allways some silly prize or even money .

Dogfriendly cocktail bars are the best lol. This little spot on the Hackney Rd has the front bit we sat in, but then there is a bit at back with a more speakeasy element with performances. Hugo could not go in the back because its too loud and hectic for the pup, but a nice chilled drink in the front bit is always on the cards. Good cocktails by the way.

Great drag bingo night. My only downside was, they should have hot food selection. Drinks alone and only nuts and olives on the menu, I do this they are missing a mark. Chips or bread would have been brilliant to an amazing evening.

Nice bar, but the service charge added on all drinks from the counter is unacceptable. It could be applied when you do really serve, but my friend and I walked to the counter ourselves, to order, to pay and even to pick up the drinks ourselves. Ridiculous!

Very beautiful bar with great drinks at a reasonable price. Went to an event in the back room (behind a mirror!and the bartender made us a cocktail that wasn’t on the menu. Highly recommend

I can’t remember his name but I know it started with T and he had long blonde hair he was working during a private party on 15/02/22. He was so lovely and I honestly haven’t received such amazing service in such a busy environment before.

Nice place, good atmosphere but 18 pounds for 2 glasses of wine I think is a bit too much....

where is the alice in wonderland decor?? Literally doesn’t exist. The drinks were not even Alice themed. Only 2 stars instead of 1 because the staff was really nice. Drinks weren’t great.

Great bar, great drinks, staff know their stuff! Wednesdays session 58 is a special open mic type night with a house band. It’s a treat!

Great night through the looking glass, felt very VIP at a friend’s wedding reception. The team were friendly, the food and drinks were excellent - well worth a visit

Fantastic venue through the door. Friend recently held a 30th here and they ensured the night went fantastic the whole way through. Great array of different drinks and cocktails to keep all customers happy

Awful! I’ve never seen a bar with the service charge at the counter in my life! I asked the Spanish guy with the beard to remove it and he said no but on the receipt, it was clearly written it was optional!I showed him the receipt and he didnt care. Very rude and offensive! Never again!

Visited for a Club Soda Behind the Looking Glass alcohol free cocktail event and loved the sober vibe, the delicious drinks and the Alice theme. Would love to see more of this... I know a speakeasy without booze sounds like a contradiction but it is an ace combination! 👸🏼♥️

Id have to say one of the best cocktail bars in London, a must visit bar! Amazing cocktails, different from the usual cocktail bar. Great venue in the speakeasy style, the staff is highly experienced and very friendly!

I went off menu and ordered a Pisco sour. It was mixed with ABA Pisco. It was a decent Pisco sour.It was fairly busy for a Thursday night. An event was going on in the backroom. Stuff was attentive and managed to get us a table for 6 at rush hour.Not the type of place I would normally go but a decent place for a post work cocktail on the city

Lovely staff: very friendly and appreciated. Great range of drinks, some surprisingly pleasant, others less so (fickle millennials ugh). Interesting decor. Nicely spaced out. Dont rate the music though.

This bar is amazing and super original! I celebrated my birthday there last Saturday. The staff members were so friendly and professional; initially our table was situated at the entrance of the bar and eventually they let us go into the other room at the other side of the mirror, where we had more space.A friend of mine was very drunk, and, whereas in other bars they would have kicked him out, the bar staff politely asked him to get some fresh air and kept bringing him water.They were so friendly about it and did not make a fuss about it; I really appreciated that.Recommend this bar, such a fun night out and the interior design looks absolutely amazing!Thanks Looking Glass Cocktail Club!

Its a nice little club if youre having a small gathering of Friends. Was a bit surprised about being charged service charge for drinks. When there is a lot of people the AC cannot handle the body heat. We ask staff to open the emergency doors but they declined. I say again if youre starting your night good place to go to.

Amazing. Secret club when you go through a mirror. The bar staff were so friendly and really enthusiastic and passionate about the drinks they were making. They even sat down and explained the influences and procedure when bringing the drinks to our tables. Highly recommend. Small and intimate with rum lighting - really cool. Loved it

They make cocktails off the menu but the ones on the menu are cool too. The bartender went above and beyond expectations in terms of creativity and improvement for cocktails off the menu.

Probably one of the best cocktail bar in London! Excellent service,amazing atmosphere,and really good drinks!! I recommend this place to anyone who like to relax with a good cup! Very interesting is the extensive menu which includes cocktails for all tastes! Detail of great importance are all the homemade syrups,bitter and liqueurs. Great choice of rum and whiskey to.
