Looc Beach in Surigao

I feel like Im in cloud-9 Siargao, the waves makes me feel excited! Its so relaxing!

A quite place

Nice place for sunsets and a short swim. Maybe drink coffee or beer

we stayed here for a night before, leaving our Bigbikes here and proceed to Siargao Island. Thank you to our host, the cousin of our Co-Rider Marlon, for taking good care of our bikes and for washing our clothes.

A good beach indeed.

The place is serene it calms me. Even at 1 am the shore is it scary in fact we enjoyed swimming from 9 pm-2 am.🤩

Not tranquil at all.Has been overdeveloped and ruined by karaoke bars blasting out music for drunken revellers.Obviously thats what Filipinos like...just dont pretend its tranquil.

Looc is better than Mabua to be exact, why? Because looc is cleaner and less crowded compared to mabua and they have this big rocks/cliff where you can jump to the sea. its a nice place for my recreation but be careful of the waves since the wind blows extreme here.

I find this place serenity and calm. Just a piece of advise, bring your food with you if you wish to stay overnight. And is not advisable to those who dont know how to swim 🏊

Looc beach is a cove-beach found around 30 mins from the city center, Surigao city. Also know as Looc pebble beach for its shore and seabed is covered in 1-3 inch size pebbles.

Pebble beach, clean and bluish water best for swimming and specially clean air to relax and enjoy while exposing body in the sun. I recommend this for all family who wants to enjoy their bonding in the beach.

Looc Beach is quite extraordinary. Instead of sands they have pebbles and stones. They are smooth to the feet so its not painful. You dont have to worry to get wounded by sharp edges, too. It is perfect for kids as its long stretch of low level water is like that of boracay of Aklan and dumaluan of bohol without sudden deep slopes and strong currents which are dangerous combination even for seasoned swimmers. No plants and green algae that makes the water murky and unpleasant to swim. Ideal for kayaking or just dipping in the water with friends and family. Best part is... entrance is free. Except if you rent cottages or you opt to stay in private resorts but fee is still minimal and reasonable. Must see while in Surigao!! 💙💚💜💛

A unique beach with pebbles instead of sand, with crystal clear waters. Not to mention that its publicly open for everyone to enjoy. Best time to visit is during calm seasons, If there are typhoons in the nearby provinces, it affects this part of the island, and there are huge waves on the beach.
