Longtu Park in Taipei

Huge park in the middle of Daan District. It has a unique Bird Sanctuary that is popular among photographers and bird 🐦🕊️ watchers. Nice park to go jogging, biking, or simply walking in.If you have kids and/or toddlers that are just bursting with energy, youre in the right place. Sit back, listen to the song "Who Let The Dogs Out" then let your kids run wild and free on the grass fields, pathways, sandboxes, playground, etc.Bring your dogs and ride your horse if you have any, the park is that big.

Good to visit here, if you need a break from crowded city. Enjoy greens and nature within a CBD

Really nice place within the center of Taipei city. MRT, bus or bike. You can get here conveniently. Many facilities such as basketball court and kids playground for almost everyone wanna go out and do some exercise. Variety of animals you can find in the park.

Its a beautiful park in Taipei. Daan Forest Park is a big park in central of Taipei. This park is comfortable for anyone who want to enjoy the fresh air in the middle of this city. Some also do jogging and exercise in this park. I really often come here for relaxing after work and study.

Trees, lots, but not really quite a forest I wound call it. Walking trails thread through different parts, always a pleasure stroll whichever path you choose.Joggers, fast walking elders, parents with kids or stroller (but not always a human inside), martial art people, yoga people, someone who brought a tent, bird watchers, special events attendees, just a great place for everyone.My favorite area was the bamboo (near north west), the bamboo somehow brought a sense of tranquility.

If you want to cool yourself down, just come here and you will be relieved from the sun and you will have a breeze of a fresh air.It’s a quiet park, with many comfy benches and different plants and animals. Be careful next to ponds, there are rats at night and a lot of mosquitoes.

The Central Park of Taipei. Very good facilities and a lot of public restrooms. Easy to access and there are a lot of bicycle parking spaces around the park. Also, I’ve heard rumors that people go there to cruise at night.

Amazing park for kids and adults. It is a very big park and an amazing place for wild life photographers. Nice place for excercising and walking and running and what not. Perfect place to relax.

Last Sunday , I went to this park with my friends . This park is a good place for children and adults. Children can play slides , swings , and seesaws. There is also a great sand pool for kids to build sand castles . For teenagers and adults , there are basketball courts , places for roller skating , and jogging tracks . People can also just sit on the benches and enjoy the good vibe here . The park have a variety of trees and flowers . You can even see lots of adorable squirrels eating nuts beside you . Though you might have to be careful of the stray dogs .

The major city park in Taipei. It is rather small compared with city parks in other countries and trees inside are not leafy since the soil layer is not thick enough to support their growth and there is still a considerable amount of uncleaned constriction waste buried under the site. Having said that, living in a concrete jungle like the Taipei City, a park like this is better than nothing.

A huge and beautiful park in the middle of the city. The maps inside are very helpful and easy to understand, there are pavilions for you to sit during raining season, and a nice place to jog, take walk, or simply drink your morning coffee. You can also see some squirrels playing here and there, and lots of children happily playing at the playground. Perfect place for your morning routine!

Biggest and well managed park in Taipei City I can sit here all day with a cup of coffee in my hand, watching kids playing on the green, people walking their pets and couples enjoying their private time in a fast moving city life style.This is the only place you can slow down your pace. And I somehow can feel how Louis Armstrong was feeling when he sang "What a wonderful world"

This park is one of the biggest in Taipei. Easily accessed by MRT. You can enjoy your time in the park with family. They also have a playground (it’s huge too).

The weather was great so the areas we went to was packed! Has good facilities, convenient to get to. Highly recommend It for families.

This park is one of the largest in Taipei. It’s huge and has a lot of activities and beautiful scenery to enjoy in every season.My favorite is around spring where you can see flowers bloom, early or late summer where you can have a picnic under the shade to run away from the island’s blazing hot and humidity and of course early winter.There are few squirrels running around the grasses and trees, I don’t suggest you to give them food, just enjoy to see them collecting food ;)Definitely a good place to have a picnic and see everyone takes their dogs to walk around.

Its been more than a decade since I last came here, and I took this chance to take a walk after a full lunch on a normal Thursday.This park has been an important local park and also a landmark. Its a blessing to be living near this park.

It is always a nice to have some Greenery but dont expect some quiet time as you can always hear the cars.It seems to be the perfect place for picnic and there are lots of benches to seat and relax for a bit of time.You can also see many squirrels and birds, however be careful if you feed the squirrel they bite.

the park is huuuge and you can do many activities here: picnic, sports (there is a basketball court for 3 on 3), roller skate area, pond and bird habitat, various birds, squirrels, and a playground for children to play on swings, sand, and slides.This is weekend so yeah, like a like canned sardines 😂😂😂

This park is getting more interesting with more variety of ecological zones.I do really wish to see the a small scale of meditative sacred herb maze here somewhere one day. That would be even more interesting .I definitely feel safe to do my late night walking here. Feel nice to see birds and here frogs and crickets in this crammed city.

Very beautiful 😍, it was amazing to see family cheering all together in weekend, the park was decorated with beautiful flowers and many other props to take pictures. Very crowded in weekend, if you wanna spend time with nature in peace go in the weekdays 😄.

On a sunny day, its a beautiful place to be. Although many people were enjoying this spacious park, it didnt feel very crowded. Plenty of park benches were provided in many areas. I felt this park is almost like Central Park in New York or Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Lucky for the people who came to relax and enjoy the Park!

A really nice park. We visited it the first time after completing our 2 weeks quarantine (this was back in March 2020 at the beginning of the COVID19 pandemic). Lately we came back to this park to enjoy a lunch under the trees. Make for a very romantic place, especially during a warm day of January as the temperatures are just perfect. Not too cold, not too hot!

A great park with good environment. Fresh air, a lot of animals, and good location. The red bicycle is so amazing!It’s good for families, couples, the old, and children. Moreover, it usually has a lot of activities during weekends.

This really is a lovely park. Tons of space and things to do. I feel so lucky to live near such a large park! Taiwan has done a great job preserving the nature they have.Family friends. Basketball courts. Lots of walking trails. Ponds. Space to sit and picnic.

Everything youd want out of a park.Super accessible right on the MRT line, and surrounded by nice cafes (some basic general chains, but also specific characterful ones as well!). You can also grab a uBike from any entrance point to the park and cycle around which is a lot of fun.Its nice to spot some native floral and fauna, and I personally loved visiting this park as a place to picnic with friends or go on a date.

This park isnt amazing but it is good for plain walk (many small trails among trees, recreation areas and a large pond), it is good for photo hunters (flowers, squirrels, birds ...), it is good for quiet time, seating or sharing a snack with friends, to take your children, for outdoor exercises (running or using some of the static fitness equipment). There is even a concert structure and with a little luck, we can come across good performers. So its worth a look (and its completely free).

Beautiful park for leisure or running activities. Love the landscape of the park. Emphasis is on human interaction rather than access for vehicles. Lots of trees that bring a surreal atmosphere. Regent Park in London should pedestrianised the park.

Its great that it is in the middle of the city so its a nice place to rest when you need it or just walk and jog. Its great for kids as well since there are a lot of birds and other domesticated animals in the area. We went there in the afternoon and it was still refreshing, the air is fresh despite being smacked in the middle of the city.

Really beautiful park in the middle of the city. It is big and lots of trees. Many people come here to jog, walk their lovely dogs and exercise . One of my fav spots in Da an district. One of the reasons why I chose a hotel here.

Nice park to walk through and enjoy some time alone or with a group. Not a lot of trees to go with the name.... Maybe at one point, it may have been a forest. Its between an area with a lot of traffic so the noise level is high. Has parking available underground so that is a plus. Walking distance from bus and metro stations.

Occupying about 26 hectares, it is an oasis of green in Taipei, plenty of places to picnic and play.There is a wide open area for fairs and also for performance stage area.In 2018 it was the site of the Halal Festival during Eid co-sponsored by the Department of Information and Tourism,Taipei City Government.Great promotion activity for everyone to experience the Eid Festival, hope they continue every year.This is walking distance from Taipei Grand Mosque, ideal location.There were different booths, from food to products and cultural displays from different countries, especially interesting was the art booths from Turkey Ebru painting and Indonesian batik art. You can also get your henna design and Arabic calligraphy done.

It has big area to spend your leisure time with healthy activities.U can go by your self only or together with your friends, colleagues, or family, also your boyfriend or girlfriend to spend time together here. Prepare your foods, ⛺️ tent, and other important things to enjoy your time there..,Btw, there’s a new spot that named Ecology gym. Inside the spot, u will find some bicycles machine that can be used to do gym. In the other hand, it can produce energy which can make the water out through the small pipes or make the van moved.Daan park also has spot for rehabilitation through the small pathway with the handrail and rocky land.Anw, don’t worry about mosquito 🦟, because in some spots u can find mosquitoes repellent to protect your self.Have a nice day!

Its a very nice park right in the heart of Taipei. Went here after walking around Yongkang.Since its a public place, some areas may be a bit noisy. While I was there, there was a group of students who were a bit noisy, so I wasnt really able to enjoy the usual peace & calm of nature. But I was able to see a few birds and squirrels, so it made up for the noise.Its a good place to rest after walking around the streets of Taipei.

A fascinating public area with great design. We can find locals who’s doing exercise of Yoga, Kungfu and other sports. Good points from this park: (1its all free to enters (haha). (2there some spot of outdoor stage for some attractions. If you’re here on specific date to see the attractions, you are lucky. (3We still can find birds and squirrels here which contacted directly to us. Just give them some foods :(5the view of every spots in this park are nice and “instagram-able” (6). The last think is, this park location is very strategic. Located on the middle of Taipei City. Also, there is grand mosque nearby which usually opens free tour guide whose want to knows about Islam. I am also muslim from Indonesia and I spent an hour to take Friday Praying in the mosque.Over all, it was nice experience. Thanks Taipei!

I just cant help myself but to be happy seeing such an animal haven inside the city. Very nice place to do your exercise, morning or afternoon jog. It is so good to see old people, mostly couples, doing their afternoon feet and leg exercise all at the same beat.

Daan park is a very nice place to unwind, so spacious at the same time so many trees that gives the place a cool atmosphere. Children enjoys d fun of d different funrides and slides. The therapeutic stones like most by d oldies. An attractive lagoon with plenty of turtles and fishes plus different kinds of birds. That what makes Daan Park attractive to everyone, both local and foreign tourists

This is the Biggest Forest Park in Taipei and it is a cool place to relax for a bit after the exploring the busy streets of Taipei. A lot of locals also stay here. You can ride MRT to get here and they also have Ubike station.

The place is large. The place become more beautiful on vacation days. So many people comes every day. The atmosphere is awesome lots of flowers trees. It make you feel that you are in forest. I like the place very much. Best place to bring your kids. They can run play enough place for them. You can place a small tent to protect your in day time during summer, and can enjoy a lot for sure.

Had a wonderful weekend spent here with my kid running around seeing birds, ducks, squirrels and we even had a chance to get up close with the squirrels to feed them with food. Theres a huge playground and sandpit which children would definitely love coming over here to spend the day. Highly recommended place for picnic, stroll in the park.
