LongHorn Steakhouse in Lafayette

We decided to have a birthday dinner here 12 people became 25. Mr. Touchet the service manager was so accommodating to the increase in numbers and even help out the waitress. I was very please wh the service as well as the food out of all the orders only 1 mistakes was made and quickly fix. I would definitely suggest this place.Great Service.

They do a wonderful job with beef and ribs. But 2 of us wasnt to impressed with the Mac and cheese. It was to dry and full of bread crumbs. I found it a bit pricey compared to other steakhouses. But the ambience is cozy and can be romantic. Good place to celebrate a special occasion. If you are a Mac and cheese person, order something else. Sorry I forgot to take pics.

Food was delicious! Service on the other hand, not so great. We had to track our waiter down to ask for things that should have already been brought to our table. Empty ketchup bottle, asked for load mashed potatoes, got plain mashed potatoes, when my meal was almost done, is when I received the toppings for my mashed potatoes.

First time eating a Ribeye sandwich which was cooked great, good flavor probably wont order it again only because I just ended up eating it as a regular steak, anyways. The server was great, we did have to wait a little more than wanted for drink refills and condiments such as ketchup and steak sauce but, it was understandable because the place did get swamped all at once. All in all it was pleasant and will go again. The only suggestion I have is the option to order a pitcher of choice drinks that would knockdown the hastle of having along with maybe ketchup and steak sauce readily available at the table or booth.

Had the sweetest server (pink hair and cute little nose piercings, wish Icould remember her name so I could include itmy mom took me out to eat here last monday night. I loved the food everything was done brilliantly. Great job!

Purchased a take-out dinner since my husband was working late, & wanted him to have his favorite ‘outlaw’ waiting for him for his birthday. The steak was perfect (cooked medium& he enjoyed the creamy, mashed potatoes & mac-n-cheese.

Good food : great service !! Really nice stafff and bread is always a bit hard and not too warm but the food is always very delicious !!

Really good meal here at Longhorn. The salads are also very good. The service was excellent.

My wife and I were in the mood for a lighter type meal and the salads we got were perfect for what we wanted. Very delicious and healthy!

The food was absolutely delicious and Blaine was the best server ever. He kept those Texas Teas and Coors coming. He was patient, personable, attentive, and kept a smile throughout the entire visit. Happy birthday Blaine, sincerely the party of 10.

Excellent food consistently. Im very impressed with the quantity of food for the price and the caesar salad is always great. The service has been particularly good lately even though the restaurant is very busy!! Will continue to visit this restaurant with my family for a great experience.

This is in my own personal opinion the best place for steaks. I have ate here many times and I am yet to ever be disappointed with anything I have ordered.

Went with a group. Friends steak had a horrible taste. Longhorn provided another one. My wifes steak was ordered with mushrooms. She never received them. Mentioned it 2 times. They gave it to her in her to go plate. Disappointed.

My food experience was really amazing. My server at the bar Amanda was excellent she was very attentive, knowledgeable about the food and was very polite and showed me a lot of hospitality. I definitely will be returning back to this restaurant the next time I’m in Lafayette.

Im editing my review from previous review. From 5 stars to 1 star wish I could give zero. The food was fabulous and my server was fantastic on my first and LAST/ONLY visit. Second visit hostes and manager were EVIL PEOPLE and I will never return.

Pleasant experience with the family. The wait was only about 10 minutes. Once seated, our waitress was very nice. She took the time to make a drink recommendations to my wife, asking multiple questions to see what she like before recommending anything. I cannot remember what she got, but she enjoyed it.I was told they are more likely to overcook the meat so I ordered medium. I got the longhorn which is a porterhouse. Understanding its a difficult cut to cook evenly, I was a bit disappointed. The strip side was both medium and medium well, which is not uncommon. The disappointment was the filet side. It was so over cooked that it was like sand. I do not totally blame the cooks however, the cut was just not even. I would have liked them to have seen it and pass on cooking thats piece though.The price was surprisingly great. We even asked if she forgot to add something to the bill. It was about 20 less than what we normally pay to eat steak at some of the other. It is definitely better then most of the other chain steakhouses in the area. We will go back.

Was there for lunch on a Tuesday. They were busy which is great to see and the service was excellent. Food was great!

Waitress was awesome. Never had to ask for anything, she was already there with it. Food was very delicious, cooked exactly to the point. I will be back.

Had the brussel sprouts and they were cooked with the stems on. Very fibrous and chewy. Had to end up cutting them off of each one; therefore, reducing the portion size. Service was fine. Food not the good.

Wasnt too bad. My steak wasnt cooked how I asked it to be but it was fixed. Waitress was good.

Went during the busiest time 7 oclock on a Friday night they told us 45 mins and got us seated in 30 and then all of the food that came out was great no issues our server introduces himself and was like bare with me in still training but to but honest it was the best service I had in awhile. Aside from a little wait that we expected everything exceeded my expectations.

When we got there we were told 10 min wait,turned into 25 min wait, with not even 50% full. The door person must of seated 10 people that showed up after us before finally getting a table. Door person said I could have table I requested, when finally getting table I was told someone had reserved table I wanted,which was a lie. And it was hot in the here

Steak was amazing, love their food. Just so happen my side, broccoli was barely cooked. Bread is always amazing.

Really great food. We havent been here in ages but had a lovely time today. They have steaks and other options for folks. We took my mom for mothers day and she couldnt stop talking about how good her food was. Nice and flavorful. Western theme. The menus include calorie counts in them which is freaking amazing for anyone trying to watch things. Great experience overall.

Service and atmosphere was excellent. Food was hot and delicious. Steak was so flavorful and juicy. Veggies were very tasty for veggies. Lobster was so good and buttery. Everything was awesome. Our new GO TO RESTAURANT...

Overall a disappointing experience. Had to wait to be acknowledged by waitstaff after being seated only to then be served the wrong drink by a runner. The salad greens appeared to not be fresh - they were soggy and not bite size pieces. This location is now giving its guests only 1 fork in a utensil roll-up, so when the waiter takes your salad plate and fork, you are left unable to eat your meal. Perhaps they are trying to save you the misery! I had a ribeye and it was very fatty but cooked perfectly. However, it tasted as if it had been in a saltwater bath. Awful! It was so salty my lips became puffy. Nobody ensured the steak was cooked correctly and it appeared the kitchen was having a rough night - the table me,t to mine had all sorts of incorrect from wrong meats to missing sides. My baked potato came out without any butter, I asked a waiter for some more and it was never brought out. This location is clearly understaffed at the moment but I never saw a dining room manager.

I always enjoy Longhorn Steakhouse. This time I had the 7 Pepper Steak Salad and the Triple Chocolate Cheesecake for dessert. Comfortable atmosphere, really great food with very personable and professional service are why I recommend it highly and often😊

The waitress we had she was very helpful and quick. The food was awesome! My husband and friend got steak they said it was the best. I tried a bite, it was soo tender and yummy. My dinner was very yummy too. Got the shrimp and sweet potato.

Usually good service … went to the Lafayette locationThis time one of the hostesses obviously didn’t want to be at work. She didn’t greet us and would make remarks loud ( well that customer will just have to wait. We were sat and nobody came for 10 minutes so we decided we would just go to the bar. The bartender working Saturday night - 1/15/22 @ 745 pm never said hello or smiled. She asked -are you ordering food. Then Rolled her eyes when we stated we would like to order food.So we immediately left the table and asked for the manager. Melissa Elliott , the manager, was told about both rude situations. We pointed out both employees and asked that they learn some customer service skills. she apologized, and stated she would handle the issue. We don’t plan on returning. Very disappointing . If there are cameras, they should be viewed to watch the bartender especially!

My wife and I ate here yesterday. The restaurant was not crowded at all. Maybe 30% capacity. After we were seated the waitress took our order. I ordered a sirloin medium well. Then the waitress brought us bread and butter. She did not bring any eating utensils. Before I could ask she scurried away. We looked for her but she was no where to be found. Pretty difficult to cut and butter bread without a knife. So I went to the wait staff station to get eating utensils and waitress said she would bring some to my table. 5 minutes later someone brought the utensils to our table. The bread was cold by then. When the waitress brought our dinner the sirloin looked like it could walk off the plate. The plate was drenched in blood. I cut the sirloin and it was cooked medium rare. So after searching for our waitress I asked for the sirloin to be cooked longer. The baked potato and the sirloin had so much salt on them that It ruined the meal. Not sure if they did that because I returned the sirloin or if it just what they do there. Service and meal were extremely disappointing. I would recommend that you ask for no salt and season it at the table.

The environment is good. I enjoyed the food especially the longhorn steak! The bread and butter is incredible. The only reason that I can not give them 5 star is price and sometimes they made a mistake in our orders. However, overall is good.

First I would Ike to say that the atmosphere was very pleasant. Our waitress was extremely awesome. She made sure myself and guess were comfortable and lacked nothing.Lastly, the food was delicious! All our food arrived hot and fresh. Will be returning.

This is our 2nd visit. Went eat early to avoid any rush which paid off 5:45ish and No line. No wait.Establishment is nice and quaint. Typical upscaled steakhouse chain. Nice and clean even in restrooms.The food was great last time but our medium steaks and mac-n-cheese were all burnt, mine actually black n crispy on the bottom. Pretty side up as not to show. Tough and un-chewable. Couldnt ask if they made a mistake as the waitress never checked on us.. I actually had to fetch a bottle of water from my car to wash the burnt flavor down as all our glasses were empty. Kids both wanted desserts. Yet after waiting and waiting and still not being checked on the waitress brought the check with a box and bag.

Horrendous. Was told it would take a couple of minutes as they were moving something around (we were a party of 2). No problem I thought the place was almost empty. Only 7 tables in a big place. Then I started to notice a lot of people and employees just standing around. 20 minutes later nobody had been seated. 7 tables with customers and 8 servers standing around the front in complete confusion. We left. Totally ridiculous.

Our waitress was great!The hamburger steak and mashed potatoes with a side of asparagus was AWESOME!If you like hamburger steaks, this is another good spot for it, especially them being a spot opened on a Sunday.

Comparable to other chain steakhouses, but it was good.Location: took us a few turns from the interstate to get there. Followed gps. Easy parking with plenty of room.Atmosphere: Very cozy and dark. Very rustic. I felt comfortable in the booths. Restrooms were clean and large.Food: ordered the lamb with mac and cheese and potatoes and loved all of it. The flavors were good. The mac & cheese was a little rich for my liking but not horrible. The bread served was good- wasnt rolls (more like outback, but not as grainy). My fiance ordered a steak and loved the cook (med rare). They also have steaks, salads, salmon, chicken, pork chops, burgers. For us 2, it cost about $65 (entrees and soft drinks).Service: friendly and attentive.

The meal was very good. The ribeye had a great taste, the grilled shrimp was so very good and the service was excellent. They even gave me a ice cream sunday because it was my birthday. The atmosphere was relaxing . The place was nice and clean. I would recommend this steakhouse highly.

I visited here on my birthday and of course it was great! Food was great! Service was friendly and I didnt have to ask for a refill as the waiter was very mindful of their customer! Did have to wait kind of long for my order as you can see I needed a table just for myself lol! All and all my appetizers, burger, and steak was delicious! And if you are not done and ready to go, carryout is offered as well! A great venue to dine along or with your significant other!

The best place for a steak is at Longhorn steakhouse. Every two weeks My boyfriend loves a good steak. When he gets home from offshore this is the place we will continue to go. My waitress was Hannah. She had an absolute amazing attitude. Great experience

We were seated at the corner which was not great felt like a regular restaurant. Apart from that food was not great, but good. Fried pickles were not good at all. The steak I think it was uhorn ribeye which was great.
