Long John Silver's/A&W in Muncie

Need a little bit more courtesy comfort with the customers need patient turned out to be okay

Walked in, waited a few minutes because they were busy which was good. Lady with pink hair that works was the nicest person. She smiled and greeted us told us someone will be with us. Ordered, sat and got our food. Forgot our clams but they said they were still cooking. Tables were dirty and the rootbeer tap was broken. I know it was 6pm and they were closing at 7.

The food was good. The service was mediocre. We havent eaten there in few years so we decided to go there because its an A&W and LJS all in one. I had to repeat my order and talk louder each time and stick my head pretty much around the glass thats in place due to the old "Covid restrictions so the cashier could hear me. They had no old fashion Root Beer. Bummer. Milk shakes were great. Fish and chicken were as always. Half are order was forgotten. All in all I wouldnt tell anyone who has never been there to go try it. Nothing to brag about here.

Went to sit down and eat dinner both orders were completely wrong got food that we didnt even order

They got a simple order of 2 different ice cream things wrong and, in the sake of taking amy longer in line we just left.

Just a root beer float. Yummy as expected.

Costs as much as Red Lobster anymore.

I got the Sampler Meal its was hot fresh and filling.

Little slow on service but food is always fresh!

So incredibly disappointed. The lady taking my order was rude, and on top of that, I had hair in my chicken. I love long john silvers but probably wont be back.

Absolutely the worst food and service that I have had in a long time , the drive thru workers are rude and the fries where burnt and cold. The burger was old and I could tell that it wasn’t fresh. The chicken planks were not cooked all the way through and I could taste the batter. And they had the audacity to charge way to much for this trash. Don’t waste your money until they get a whole new staff. They need to throw the whole restaurant away and start over. Wow!

Staff at the counter had her back to the dining room and busy chatting with co workers. Didnt hear or see me come in for several minutes.

The meal was delicious long time since the restaurant was open due to covid. Nice to sit down and have a meal that tasted good I love eating there.

Worst experience in food ever: the coleslaw was spoiled and when I called the restaurant to informed them, no one answered the phone. After two calls and no answer, I decided to voice my concern here. I hope no one gets sick. 🤢

They over cooked the chicken and fish taste like they need to change out the deep fryer...

Hadnt been there since last October, was drive through only. Check there sight, said dine in available, got there tonight and dinning room closed! We left, not going back!

Not worth the drive, left with stomach problems I didnt have visiting other long johns. The cashier was not easy to understand, but was kind and I was able to finish the transaction. Leaving was difficult with all the small one way roads around it and the leaving turn was wildly sharp. Food was decent

The food was really good except the fish was extremely salty for some reason. Great customer service

The person who waited on me was nice. The restaurant was empty but almost every table hadnt been cleaned, food all over floor condiment and drink station stains spills all over counter. Asked twice to make sure I had tarter and shrimp sauce never got it. Got grilled shrimp and grilled salmon, food was good. But glad I got it to go!

The restaurant was very clean, but, not very busy. The food is made to order & fresh tasting. The staff was friendly & accommodating as the apple juice contained grape juice & they let me substitute with no problem.We will go back!

"HEARTBURN CITY!" Well thats what you get about half an hour after you eat here... Dont know why I have to do it to myself every once in a while, because it happens every time I come here. I mean I know that ALL of my favorites are fried but Long Johns batters are just too freaking GOOD to me. "I believe its the BEST!" You have to dunk your hush puppies in your coleslaw 🤤. Either way its my favorite fast food fish restaurant! The combo is a good way to go too if you cant make up your mind.

Just 4 Laughs Ive been coming here every day for months. Ive looked everywhere and Im not finding any silver here. Im starting to think Wrong John Silver isnt telling me the truth. (This was just a joke the fish is ok . I think the food at Long John Silvers was better back in the 1980s. I would suggest you double check your order before you leave, if you use the drive thru . )

Messed up my order and gave me the wrong thing. When I knocked on the door of the store to get someones attention she was kind of rude because she was on break and I was interrupting that. They did fix my order but had to make a trip back to the store for that to happen.

Unfortunately not the best experience. Could not go inside to eat (we are not from the area). Ordered a chicken meal. No silverware to eat the corn. Cold hushpuppies, cold French fries and no crunches. Will be a long time before we go back.

havent been here in years but wanted to try the salmon. salmon was not mushy, the flavor was good but all from the seasoning they use. No hint of salmon flavor...but still good. the corn and green beans were very good and the rice was fluffy and moist. overall a good meal but was a little disappointed in the salmon.

This place has good food at a reasonable price but the customer service is horrible everytime we come here they are rude and act like they cant hear at the drive thru and then they always forget part of our order

It takes a few minutes to get your food more often than not, but oh my goodness its worth it. The food is always hot and fresh love the fish tacos!

I was in the mood for a nice, hot greasy burger and I found it at A&W. Double cheeseburger 2 for $6.00. I got 2 along with french fries, onion rings and 2 root beers for my husband and I. Wednesday night is popcorn shrimp with french fries and hush puppies. We will continue to visit Long John Silvers for both of these meals and other favorite meals.

I like LJS but it is always a long wait. Food is not always right and you dont always get the sauces you ask for. I usually pull over and inspect what I got. One time i called the store and told them something was missing. The person who brought it out was downright rude. I would not recommend going on your way to work without allowing 20 minutes just to place order and then wait to get to window and then wait for food.

My husband loves LJS, but the last 2 times he’s been there they’ve gotten orders wrong, or have forgotten pieces of food. I don’t know if they are just busy, or plain lazy. But when he asked for a chicken tender meal from AW they gave him 1 piece of chicken and said they made it the AW way and didn’t charge him for making it that way, but still charged him for the chicken itself. It’s really laughable and makes me believe my toddler could do a better job.

Ordered a family meal and when I got home, it was missing half of the order. I was told to bring it all back with the receipt, understandable however when I brought it all back I was told I had to wait in back in the drive thru line. Even though I’ve already paid. There were 6 cars in front of me. When I spoke with the manager I didn’t ask to come in.. I would think that proper customer service skills would tell you to send an employee out to grab the food and fix the order. As I was waiting I noticed that non of the employees were wearing gloves. The manager never apologized, just handed me the food back.. pathetic excuse for management.

Always enjoy a meal there. The quality of food is consistent. The service was good n its quick when Im hungry. Clean n family friendly

Food was subpar at best not what it used to be. We had to walk around the restaurant looking for a clean table we ended up going with well this one looks the cleanest of them. I asked if tables were going to be cleaned soon I was told Im drive through. The floor throughout the whole restaurant was slick like it had grease on it. It did not look dirty but it was slick.

Went to Long John Silvers for the first since the fire. Food was nothing to write home about. Didnt like new decor. Was upset they didnt promote the Sunday special at the time we ordered our food. Didnt know about it until we saw it on the napkin dispenser at our booth. Doubt if I will ever return.

Ordered an 8 piece family meal of all fish. Got all chicken instead. It was good chicken, but not what I expected when I bit into it. The rest of the meal was excellent. Still wont deter me from going back. Just have to double check my order next time.

Friendly staff. Fast service..Food was very fresh. You can tell they do a good job maintaining the oil. Restaurant was clean. Only issue we had...out of root beer...ugh...but over all a great experience. So happy Long Johns is back.

Ever since they redecorated and redid the whole thing they not only raised the prices, but have smaller portions. The people that were cashiering got our order wrong, we told her to fix it and she did, then they still got it wrong. Frustrating as heck! I doubt we will be back there anytime soon. That was a huge disappointment!

Several weeks after opening, and you still have to wait 15-20 minutes to get your food. Then after the wait, my fiances meal was cold. She took it back and a manager said they would replace it. However instead of making the replacement meal a priority it went to the back of the line. I was done with my meal as they brought our her replacement meal. Their apology was that they were extremely busy (but they had no line inside).

Since open Wednesday still is busy waited at least 20 minutes for meal only after I went yo and asked why 2 orher customers got their order that was after me. I was by myself easy order, 1 customer had 2 meals and other have 6 family, come on dont use just open for you cause that my order was overlooked... 😤
