If I could give a place negative stars, Long Arm would be my first. First off, we picked this bar because they had a solid sharing menu and we had a large group (~15). About 30 minutes into our reservation, we tried to order food and they told us “the kitchen is closed right now because of a large group order.” What?!? An hour later, they still didn’t allow us to order food, and said they’d “let us know.” Later on, they would proceed to drop and shatter a glass on the bar directly in front of me. Accidents happens, but as I picked glass off my shirt helped one employee find and collect the rest of the glass, the bartenders proceeded to forget my order and take orders from others outside of the shattered glass area. Lastly, they got my order wrong. Every. Single. Time. There are 100 pubs in the vicinity of Long Arm. Go to them instead.

Waited 1.5 hrs for a burger and chips. 1 person in the kitchen for a day with f1 and a Manchester derby on. That’s ridiculous

I don’t think it is acceptable to wait for more than an hour to get an average burger. They should hire more staff if they really want to serve food.

Really slow food service, after 1h20 food was very average and burn burger bun. Booked specifically for the F1 and was given a table in the middle of the bar where football commentary was played very loudly. Wouldn’t come again

Being charged a 12.5% service charge for drinks only on a bar service is a little incongruous

Nice atmosphere, but burger was very poor, if you are hoping for a memorable burger at £16 dont waste your money. Beer was good but also too expensive at £6.50. They also charge a £2.30 service fee and the service was poor too. Disappointed.

Craft beers were nice, good spot to watch sport, and great that the shuffle board was free to play. Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a let down, £11 for 10 wings, but as you can see from the photo the wings were the smallest Ive ever seen.Regards to service, the menu stated the wings come with a blue cheese or ranch dip and celery sticks, neither came with the wings, and when I asked the staff, they said I should have informed them of the sauce I want when ordering, and will bring it out to me shortly. 10 minutes later, whilst my tiny wings were getting cold, I had to ask again, I eventually got the dip only, and didnt bother asking for a third time for the celery sticks. They did only have 2 staff on the floor so may have been understaffed.

We went for a drink with colleagues and struggled to find a place to sit but we managed to find a table. After a while a guy out of the blue came up to our table and put a sign thay the table would be reserved in 30 minutes. They basically kicked us out and then complained we were standing in the entrance where it was literally the only place left to stand. This is the last time they see us.

Disappointed by this pub, one of the beers was out by midday on a Saturday. They add a service charge onto the food bill which is ridiculous as you order food at the bar. Nearly £17 for a sandwich, the chicken sandwich was really small for that price and a little overdone. Definitely wont be eating hear again, good for sports and drinks but service is a little slow.

Perfect for sport, endless TV screens with 2x projectors at each end. Food is great however pricey. Great beers however recently there have been only a few available. Staff are great (I did see one struggle to open a corked bottle). All round solid venue and my go to for sport in the area.

A group of us visited last night and after a few orders we realised the bar adds on 12.5% service charge as default whenever there is food in the order. So when I ordered 4 pints and a couple of burgers, 12.5% was applied to the food and the beers. Then as I paid by card, I was given the option of adding service charge - therefore potentially paying service twice!I dont mind paying a little extra at the moment during a difficult time for the industry, but hiding it in the bill like this is really poor. Paying 12.5% service for a pint is ridiculous. Its not even table service for the food so 12.5% seems unnecessary there too really. When we asked a staff member about it, he was fairly dismissive and just said thats how its done. Really disappointing and definitely wont be going back. Oh and they didnt have any of their home brews on tap which is disappointing as the brewery seems to be their main selling point.

Good bar that shows sports near where I work. But Ive experienced a few major flaws in the few times Ive been. On all 3 occasions, the IPA was out. "sold out at the weekend" it was explained despite it being a Thursday night. In fact everytime Ive been there, the choice has been lager, stout or cider, which isnt what you expect when they promote themselves as a brewery with a variation of craft drinks on tap. Also I was hoping to watch Spurs one night but they instead were showing the Celtic game over Spurs, which when youre close to North London is utterly bizarre. A few things to improve on for this place to keep me coming back as Im discovering other options in the area.

Not a bad place for a drink as the cider was SUPER delicious. My only complaint was the blaring music that made it hard to have a civil conversation. Who actually wants that in the 21st century? 4 stars as Ill forgive a lot for good drink

The 5-7 happy hour was wicked!! And the food was okay. One of the main issues was the ramekin sized sauces. I mean who eats a bowl of chips with only one ramekin of ketchup!! I felt like taking a sip and then asking for the bottle!! Overall a good place to have a drink!!

Got there last night as a group of 5 and having a reservation for a "sports table". £10 per person is held in order to prevent a cancellation of reservation less than 48 hours before booked time which is quite restrictive. We were squeezed in a tiny, sticky and wobbly tall table good maybe for 3 people. Asked to be moved to a free bigger table but told that it was reserved but they were late to turn up. Ordering anything from the kitchen even nachos takes more than 45 minutes to appear. Prices are steep even for London zone 1.The most infuriating thing is having a compulsory 12% "service charge" for anything, even a single pint of beer. We know pretty well that it doesnt all go to staff, you can just increase the price of everything on the menu by 12%, that would be more sincere. The last 1.5 year has been tough for the hospitality industry and I do anything I can to support businesses that respect and appreciate my custom. Unfortunately this is not one of them.

Possibly the worst food Ive paid to eat in a long time.Me and two friends came here to watch some football, grab a few drinks and dinner, what a mistake this was.Firstly we ordered some sharing platters, the chicken wings and nachos, I also tried to order a cider to have with this, but apparently the bar did not have any in stock that day, extremely confusing for a bar to run out of all ciders, but I brushed it off and ordered a different drink. The chicken wings, which I think they must have been mistakenly advertised, because what was provided certainly did not constitute wings. I can only describe them as tiny bones with skin, appalling for the price. The nachos which were also advertised as sharing platter, were the equivalent weight of a small packet of walkers crisps, against over priced for the amount of food.As the sharing platters were so small, I can only describe them as sharing platters for children, I decided to order a hot dog, again instantly regretted that decision when presented with my main course. When I took a bite out of the bun the moisture was instantly stolen from my mouth (I guess a cider would have been nice to replenish the lost fluidthe bun tasted like it had been left outside in the sun for days, and was completely stale. Im confused how an establishment can survive with such lack of quality food.To top off the night, we all attempted to order desert, as we thought it cant get any worse than the previous orders, oh how we were wrong.... The bar again advised us that there were also no deserts available, this was despite three being advertised on their menu.Overall, pretty shocking experience, it would have been great if you would have advised the products you did not have available prior to us ordering and spending nearly £150 between the three of us.You couldnt pay me to return to this bar, and I would recommend that the management seriously take a look at their kitchen staff and management of stock.

Decent pub and sports bar with big screens.Unfortunately for a microbrewery, only having 3 beers (1 of them a stouton tap is pretty poor. Ok food, but for £14, the chicken burgers are tiny (although tasty), finished in 4/5 bites and fries too salty. Finally, only option was to order by app, but charged 12.5% service charge for every order. I always tip on table service but prefer to be given the option at the end.I would give it another go when they have more beer taps on as the beer I had was nice. Also its great for sport with the big HD screens and they play the commentary but disappointing visit overall.

Staff are friendly, great selection of drinks, excellent TVs in different directions. For an evening out its great. Unfortunately, for lunch, its let down by its food. Not the quality, but the ability to sit and enjoy it. Seating is a big problem, with about 2/3 the number required, and inappropriate table sizes and heights.

Spent new years eve here and had loads of fun! Really nice venue, staff were exceptional, delicious snacks were included in the ticket and we had more than we could eat (even as vegans). The band knew what they were doing and the songs were on point. The only thing I didnt enjoy was the darts tournament on the 3 big screens... but perhaps the other patrons enjoyed that. I can definitely recommend a visit.

Went to Long Arm during a pub tour while I was visiting London from the States. The staff were friendly and informative about the brewing process and what makes their brews different. They have a lot of inventive stuff so definitely check it out if you’re up for taking your tastebuds on an adventure. Don’t even think about leaving without trying the Queequeg- one of the best stouts I’ve tasted! One could even describe it as The Black Pearl of stouts!

One of the best pubs in north London, especially between 4-6 when they have half priced steins! The atmosphere and staff are great. The small touches make this one of my favourite places to drink in London. You can hire a table or area for a reasonable minimum spend. The food is great (Id recommend the chicken burgerand the beer is even better!Perfect place to start a night before heading into shoreditch, or for a couple of after-work beers.

Ive been a regular at the Long Arm since the day it opened. Even after we moved offices I still come back here with my mates to hang out. Theyve got the best craft beer and best happy hour in London with a Stein for £5.50 between 4 and 6pm. Food is brilliant, staff is even better and if youre into sports theyve got two massive screens showing all the top events! Not to mention its worth going just for their puns ;)Favourite place in London, hands down.

Big airy bar with its own brewery. Six on tap yesterday when I visited including a very nice espresso stout. Regular strength beers are £5.50-6, which is about the going rate for craft beers. Food is mainly burgers to soak the beer up with. Staff very friendly and helpful. Downside is, it gets rammed and very noisy with after work crowd. Pleasant if you can avoid those time. Upside is, it shares the toilets (washrooms as they call themwith the Montcalm hotel, and must one of the most luxurious place to re-cycle the beer.

Cool and rustic location with big unfinished wooden table tops and heavy adjustable stools and then right there are the pub brewery tanks to see and some delicious live ales produced for immediate consumption. One gets a little feel for what pubs used to be like hundreds of years ago with their own beers. Carefully helpful staff offered tastes of beers. Virtually empty mid afternoon but imagine has a thronging trendy crowd as the offices empty out.

Following a delightfully boozy dinner party with friends on Friday night, Mrs. Flavour and I awoke with more than a hint of a hangover each. Fortunately, there’s a hot new venue just down the road and I can’t think of a better pick me up than several pints of tank fresh beer and a dirty great burger. The Long Arm Pub and Brewery on Worship street has got it nailed! We entered this snazzy saloon-like bar and swaggered past the reclaimed wooden tables like thirsty outlaws. Our eyes were drawn to the massive shiny beer tanks that dominate the far-right corner of the space. Long Arm pride themselves on having a zero-carbon footprint, as the beer is brewed and drunk on the same spot. I for one couldn’t wait to sample that freshness and the charming bar staff were very obliging. We were offered some tasters of their intriguingly titled brews. The zesty Lucky Penny had a refreshingly light and fruity taste, an instant favourite with the Mrs. I however consider any beer with less than 5% alcohol content to be as welcome as an Ed Sheeran cameo. As delicious as Lucky Penny was, I needed something manlier that’ll put hairs on your chest (Mrs. Flavour’s note: – Why are you writing like it’s the 1970’s?).The bartender directed me to an intriguing black lager with a malty tang. I then sampled a bold dark beer flavoured with cookies and chocolate, which was every bit as delicious as it sounds. Plus, the 6% of alcohol was a winner in my book. We took our tankards of fresh brew towards the pool table, for a couple of frames and a peek at the menu.Mrs Flavour and I are big fans of a pub game and the lure of the red baized American size pool table was too much to resist. I racked them up as my good lady ordered up a couple of small plates to fuel the competition. I think the highlight of my weekend was the point at which the braised short rib croquette landed on my palette. This hot, crispy coated morsel of deliciousness is crammed with the softest, juiciest strands of prime beef. I was so overwhelmed by its meaty majesty that I completely miscued my next shot (Mrs Flavour’s note: – Nothing to do with that beer then?). The crispy squid rings were worth sitting back down for and the comforting richness of the mac and cheese croquettes were more than enough to console the fact that I was clearly losing the game at this point. Time for more beer! The Long Arm pub has a pleasingly varied selection of 5 burgers and one dog, catering for vegetarians, pescatarians and greedy buggers like me who crave tons of meat. Unsurprisingly, Mrs Flavour opted for the suitably titled Dirty Bird (Mrs. Flavour’s note: – You’re this close to getting a slap). Her crunchy coated chicken burger came with an IPA OK Honey mustard sauce, which certainly stacked it above anything the Colonel churns out. I selected the cheekily named Build That Wall Burger, a meaty covfefe of juicy beef patty and chipotle jalapeno and red bean chilli which was fit for a President. If the burgers in Mexico taste this good, I know which side of the wall I’d like to be on. A few more beers and a side of crisp onion rings meant I really didn’t care that my wife was clearly whuppin’ my ass on the pool table. As we nestled into the comfy leather furniture and sipped some of the finest craft beers we’d tasted in a while, our hangovers became but a distant memory. The welcoming atmosphere and mouth-watering food at Long Arm filled us with a new lease of life and we were once again craving the excitement of a warm London evening.

Walk on byWe were standing at the end of this empty table having a pint and the waitress informed us that there was a booking set to arrive within 20 minutes. We said that it was fine and we would move when the guests arrived. We were then asked by the barmen 10 minutes later to move. As you can see from the pictures, we are not sitting in their seats or in anyone’s way. The waitress and barman both asked us again to move on and we did, never to return.Included a pic of the staff member who made us feel unwelcome.

Great beer, great service, delicious food! They offered us a taste of each beer before deciding, so we couldn’t really go wrong with our choice. The beer is brewed on the premises and the entire carbon footprint reducing micro-brewery/fishery/urban farm concept sounds fantastic. The staff are very friendly as well, and as an added benefit, the toilets are super fancy. It’s a hidden gem that isn’t going to stay hidden for a long time!

Was in here this evening and had the worst pint of (self-describedlager Ive ever had in my life (20 years drinking on 5 continents). This was then followed by the worst pint of IPA Ive ever had. Cool venue, like the concept but if they cant produce and serve a drinkable pint it all counts for zilch.
