London in the Sky - Restaurant in Macenta, Guinea
Went there for an wowing experience and wasnt disappointed!
I made a reservation for my husbands birthday and what can i say, everything was perfect, the food was incredibly delicious, there was a birthday cake, all sang happy birthday and the view was just amazing. It is one of those things that you have to try it
Exhilarating, exciting and an unforgettable experience! Amazing staff, especially Ursula who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, get some nice clicks and served us delicious food and drinks throughout! 100% recommended!
My best birthday present ever was London in the sky. It was totally different and unique idea to celebrate your birthday on top100ft height and I enjoyed a lot with my friends company. Staff was really nice, food and cake was delicious. Once in a life time experience. Highly recommended.
Me and my son had lunch and it is a nice experience and concept but food, drinks and service is average and not good value for money. The ‘club’ music was far too loud and not in tune with a lunch venue!
I had, in fact we all had a truly magnificent, epic and stunning experience on London in the Sky our hosts were exceptional as the the 🍹 and our host Jamie was amazing... She made it exciting, interactive and soooooo much fun for our group of 10. A true star in the sky.Thank you so much everyone, especially Jamie. We will never forget this experience 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳Nathan.
Brilliant experience. If you can go, do it. It is a must. Lovely staff that made us feel comfortable and at ease. The food was delicious and nicely prepared. We decided to have brunch and the whole thing was a blast. I think that if you decide on something more, it might be more than necessary.
What an incredible, unforgettable and remarkable experience. Afternoon Tea in the sky was unbelievably scrumptious. Thank you London in the Sky for hosting in a luxurious way. I will never forget this day :)
Unforgettable experience!!! So impressive!! I got this sunset dinner for my mum 60th birthday!!! The best experience ever!! The food was delicious, service out of this world!!! We felt safe and on top of the world we did not want to come down!! It goes really fast!! Make sure you go to the bathroom before and if you have a weak bladder dont drink to much as you can ruin this for everyone! We had to come down 5min earlier because one dude could not hold his pee!
Amazing, unforgettable dining experience (eveningthanks to all the staff onboard who all went above and beyond to give all the guests a great time. The staff on table B 14/8/22 created such an amazing atmosphere they all went above & beyond what I was expecting that my fear of Heights vanished. The music was tailed to the group on the flight & that went along with the atmosphere that was created we done the hands & chair back Mexican wave, which was captured ( recorded by the staff along with some incredible photos of our view of the sunset. The foodFor starters I had tomatoes on a bed of seasoned baked tomatoes with a hint of yellow tomatoes. Yes it was a plate of tomatoes however it was lovely. For mains I had a perfectly cooked tender beef with a smooth creamy mash 100% melt in the mouth.Dessert was by far my favourite course of the evening I could of eaten that for all 3 courses.Drinks: I didn’t drink alcohol however I was still catered for with soft drinks for the evening. The hour in the sky is more then enough to take photos eat and have a great time it wasn’t just a meal it was a fantastic experience.LONDON IN THE SKY thank you for an amazing dining experience see you next year.
The reason I gave 2 stars was because the afternoon tea was not great. Sandwiches are horrible and the doughnut was dry and tasted stale! Only gave us 2 cakes, a doughnut and one other which wasn’t great either. me and my friends got 3 small finger sandwiches each and the cake selection was not great. I’ve been to afternoon teas which cost cheaper but are so much better quality and taste, also they look luxury and nice but here you get basic afternoon tea plates. so your basically paying to be seated that’s all and you only get 45 mins in the air which I thought was very less time for what your paying for. I feel like your not getting your moneys worth. They need to offer better and more variety of sandwiches because 3 small finger sandwiches was not enough and left me and my friends feeling hungry. I requested for non alcoholic drinks at the time of booking and we got 1 small coke cola bottle each, again this was not enough. When I asked for another bottle they said they don’t have any, Whereas people who were drinking alcohol were getting re fills and so many drinks but they offered us 1 mini size coke cola bottle. They need to improve on their afternoon tea because it doesn’t match the vibe of being in the sky. They should consider a luxury afternoon tea that looks and taste good because then it would be worth it but honestly it was so basic and not even nice, I was disappointed. However, the experience of being up in the sky was nice.
Overall its really good. But dont go for food, just drinks is cheaper and tastes better and is only £59. Food is overrated. The company matters a lot and I had Emily as the host who was really fun and made the experience more fun.
Fantastic experience, which you will not be disappointed. We went for lunch for my wifes birthday. The food and service provided was great. The vibes are good, I am already looking to book the sunset dinner.
Afternoon tea for two.Good experience, definitely worth doing if at the O2.
Great experience, brunch in the sky with Freixenet Prosecco, one of the best experiences I have had . Great views of London from the sky. Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone. Special thanks to Richard the Chef and mega thanks to Charles who made the flight memorable and fun to be onboard.
Had such an amazing time with London in the Sky today. The Afternoon Tea was epic and tasted amazing! Will definitely go again. Shout out to Franky as well who made our day that much better
Great vibes and views. Staff were great. Food was nice. Except my friend is a vegetarian and although I ordered her the regular cheesecake dessert they gave her the vegan dessert and it was horrible.
I cannot thank Dolly enough for making our experience amazing! She was attentive, kind & so accommodating! An absolute pleasure to deal with and an asset to the company. Thank you Dolly for making my friends birthday special!
I have had the worst customer service experience with this company. Not only have I paid extra money multiple times to change a booking that they booked for me without asking, but they also made fun of my partner’s skin condition. I am disgusted with the behaviour of the customer service team especially with the behaviour of Rebecca and Kate. They are very unhelpful and very rude. I paid almost £300 for a flight I could not even take.I would not recommend this company to anyone.I am going to take action against this company. They are very inconsiderate and have a very aggressive way of speaking. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone
Awesome experience me and my daughter had the sunset menu Saturday evening absolutely delicious and host amazing thank you to Ellie, Richard,Frankie, was amazing 💯
Good but underwhelming. The extras are a waste. We ended up bringing the bottle of champagne back home unopened. You do have beverages as part of the standard dinner. They try to upsell very hard and succeeded in our case.
We only had a drink here. The white wine wasn’t great. The most awful thing was, the music in this place is SOOOO LOUD!!!!A di was playing so it’s quite cool but the volume on speakers surrounding the bar were turned to their fullest distorting the sound completely. It was like sounds of broken glasses coming out of the speakers.
This was a birthday gift & we were super thrilled about it. The whole experience was different. But the main event THE FOOD was mediocre. Hence the 3 stars. If you are a foodie, please do not expect much. You are there for the view & the experience. We paid £79 per person which was almost £160 & what you see is what we got served with a glass of OJ.You can eat far better for that money in many many different places.
Yes, it’s nice to eat in the sky.. but basically this is what you are paying for. To be seated in the sky for a limited time. Regarding the food… nothing special, service is nothing special and the drinks are nothing special… not to say that anything was bad because it wasn’t but there wasn’t a single dish or drinks that were worth it the money that we pay… will not go back that’s for sure
Really good fun and a unique experience. Food was way better than I had anticipated and you get way more than just the 2 glasses of prosecco. Definitely not “100ft in the air”, more like 50ft. Nor are you hoisted up for 2 hours, more like 1 hour.
Just got down from having the sunset dinner. It was absolutely fantastic! Weather wasnt great but Franky, Ellie and Richard made the experience! They were brilliant. The food was 5 star!! "Highly" recommended
What a mad experience! We did his as a present for my husbands birthday and it was so much fun, a little scary as you can literally see the ground beneath you (if you choose to look downand its windy and you need to hold onto your cutlery and phones for dear life. The hosts were lovely and fun too, and wine was free flowing! Highly recommended, very fun evening out.
Frankie he was absolutely fantastic same as our chef Richard. Get experience, lovely food, I felt quite nervous with the height but honestly the lads make you feel so relaxed I even ended up reclining my chair by the end of it! Thank you guys for the best experience of my birthday celebrations this year! I will be back!
Eh. I probably wouldn’t do it again if I had the chance. We did the cocktails, and it felt just awkward.First of all, they ask you to arrive an hour early…. Definitely not necessary, it’s only to get you to buy drinks before you go up. That was extremely frustrating, as we could have spent our time elsewhere before arriving at an actual appropriate time.Once strapped in and up, they started making drinks, but it was super slow for the few people that we’re actually there. They give you three decent drinks for sure, but with the time you get and how slow they were, it was frustrating.Additionally, the crane operator seemed to want to bring us down early? And thankfully the DJ corrected them and ensured we got the full 45 mins.Overall, it was just okay. If you have other things on your list, do those first.
An absolute vibe. Love the beer garden. The staff are amazing especially Jamie, shes a whole vibe on her own. Well definitely be back..!!!
Im nervous about heights so wanted to do some thing special and memorable on our Funnymoon in London.I did have a few prossecco in celebration and once up and settled started to relax and enjoy. We had the lunch menu / booking.Hosts where outstanding and really good fun. Music was good as each and every guest gave requests. Food was exceptional. All had a very goid time, so much so we as a group continued at ground level for a short period before going our separate ways.Chance foe goid photos of you enjoying London skyline from different angles.
Its a cool place where to have a drink e ven though we didnt have dinner up in the sky. Nice atmosphere and nice to see other people enjoying London from the sky! Very original idea: tables and chairs hanging on cranes.
Went with my sister as part of her birthday present and had a really great time - it’s definitely one of those experiences that you never forget. We went in the morning and had breakfast as this was the cheapest time to go - the breakfast choices were limited but the shakshuka was fantastic. The experience itself was great - how could being suspended above London for and hour and a half breakfast not be? But the hosts were great too, they made sure you were looked after and provided fun entertainment (in addition to the amazing views). Overall had a great time and can imagine that it’s even more magical at sunset! Would recommend as one of those pricier things to do but worth it for the experience in my opinion.
Amazing Experience for our 9th Year Anniversary! Amazing drinks, DJ & great views! X
Unique experience. Nice for a special occasion. Staff were friendly. Food was decent. Portions were sufficient. Felt safe and secure.
What a brilliant experience this was. Entertainment In the bar area on the floor with live sax 🎷 and DJ. Drinks were lovely. Staff were great. Once in the bar I. The air the team, and the guy (Michaelwho was serving us was fab, providing drinks and entertainment. I personally don’t like heights, however I felt safe throughout. I would definitely recommend If visiting or living near London.
Amazing views and great service! Worth the experience. Had to dock a star as the food took away from the experience- portions were very small (but well presentedand menu was very limited. All else was exceptional!
HIGH-ly recommended 🙌🏾100ft up of the best views & cocktails in the cityFrom the pre flight drinks in the cute garden area to the beginning of the flight was great. Going up in the air was so exhilarating (I’m a thrill seeker so it wasn’t scary to me). The staff were so attentive and energetic throughout the whole flight. The cocktails where all sweet, strong & fruity. Defo drinks best served in the sun.The views are just spectacular especially seeing the entire skyline at sunset. It’s just incomparable. Sitting around a 22 seat sky table with rotating/ reclining chairs makes it for an even better experience.By far one of the best experiences yet. Iwill be for sure booking next year for the evening dinner experience. You have a choice of 3 cocktails for 45mins ranging from £89 - £109.London In The Sky have a few weeks left until it closes until next year July 2022.🔖Perfect for a date night, a birthday present, corporate event or a friend/family experience together.
Cocktails were amazing. Dj on the bar made it a fun experience.
An absolute amazing experience, definitely come again! We had the brunch and all the stuff there were with full of hospitality, high recommend. It made us our day for sure 👍🏽The weather was raining but nothing to bothering people really.
Im not going to lie, the first 5 minutes were a bit oooph. The team were lovely and very kind. The Chef understated and confident, the lady helping was so efficient and calm. Please do this its an amazing experience. I do question the price. Yes its good, food is lovely and have staff to pay but £179 for a 3 course meal to be eaten in a set time frame is very expensive and I wouldnt have paid it. Also the food choices are very limited. They tried to cater for all allergies or dietary restrictions in one option which personally, I feel is lazy.
2nd time I’ve been and both times we have had a great time hence the return, although this year they exceeded my expectations. The food on offer has gone up a couple of notches from 2019. This year it looked and tasted great. We had the salmon and the lamb and we could have gone back for seconds. My friend had decided during Covid she was scared of heights so as you can imagine the event was a bit of a concern to me however the staff were super helpful and sat us in the middle and checked on her during the whole flight. We had great people on the flight with us and it wasn’t long before the whole table was chatting together, taking pics and singing along to all the music. We even shared a birthday cake!4 staff on the flight (sorry guys I’ve forgotten your namesbut they were all friendly, helpful and up for a giggle while being professional and keeping us all at ease and safe.Views are beautiful. We were on the 18.45 flight and we watched the sun go down over London with a glass of bubbly each. This is definitely an experience you want to involved in.It isn’t a cheap day out but it’s certainly not an event that is going to forget in a hurry.Thank you to all the staff it’s was a beautiful night :-)
Had a great experience Michael was amazing hes very entertaining Im scared of heights and he made the experience the best!! I would definitely recommend x
Went for brunch (11am). Really unique experience, so much fun. Food was ok, but you’re not going up there for that. Prosecco was free-flowing - they are very generous. Music and host add to the fun experience. Highly recommend!
HIGH-ly recommended!Wow. What an absolutely brilliant experience this was.We got a big smiley welcome we got from the young lady at Reception (despite her having to cope with extreme temperatures in the pavilion). Then, as we sat in the stylish garden area, we got to listen to fantastically talented guitarist. The organisation of the trip up in the air was superb. Every single member of staff – and there are a lot of them – helps to make sure you feel welcomed, comfortable and extremely safe.Going up in the air is a real experience. The views are spectacular, and the sensation in like no other. I’m not usually good with heights, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. The hosts keep everyone happy and engaged, and there’s a great party atmosphere up there. Connor was the host at our end of the table, and he really helped to make it a really special occasion. The brilliant chef (whose name we didnt catch – sorrywas super-helpful too, and created some fabulous food.We were there for afternoon tea, which was fantastic. There was plenty to eat – the vegan option was particularly good, with an amazing coconut foam with the scrummy scones. The Prosecco just kept coming, the songs kept being sung, and all too soon, we were back on the ground, exhilarated and elated. There’s no rush to leave. You can sit in the deck chairs, and enjoy more of the great music while watching the next batch of revellers going up into the sky.Do yourself a favour and book a place on here.
I paid for lunch services in the sky with additional services of a birthday cake for £45. The entrance is nice and great for Instagram photo. Good amount of chairs/table that had social distance. Very pretty environment with nice music. The chair that you sit on for the meal are comfortable and secure. Felts safe while up so high. However there’s not much room to lean forward to reach for your meal. So you just have to eat as if your eating in front of the queen. So no slouching and good posture. But eating at the table in the sky was nice and enjoyable. The host that was entertaining was lovely and played nice music.I’ve taken away two stars because the services could of been been better. Firstly I was really disappointed with the birthday cake that I paid extra for £45 for chocolate cake that looks like the cake in Matilda. The cake was not worth £45 at all and the experience is supposed to be fine dinning. They also didn’t serve me my own cake in the sky. They shared and serves cakes of other birthday attendees. therefore I could of left without my cake I paid for if I didn’t mentioned it to the manager. After mention it they apologise and packed it in vegetable box to take it away. The chef also messed up the order as they didn’t give him the right amount of food that everyone order. For example I asked for a cheese cake with fruit dessert and I received fruits dessert only. My friend order a beef as a main and received salmon as there’s were no beef left. Additionally when you arrive you can order drinks while you wait on a nice app but waited like 30 minutes for our orders. We had to get up and tell the bar attender what we order which beats the purpose of the app.
What a great experience! We enjoyed every minute of the cocktails in the sky. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and engaging throughout and the three cocktails all delicious (good menu of options). There is also a great area to chill out before/after the experience.Going in, we were a little concerned about Covid (as the cases were rising dramatically at the timebut as we waited for our time slot, we watched as the team did a very thorough cleaning of the whole set-up, the seats are also well spaced. Wed definitely do this again.
Very special experience and nice stuff! The waiter was playing songs in the sky and people were singing along, a lot of special occasions celebrated together up there. Worth a try if the price is acceptable
My niece and I took the Cocktail flight. What an amazing experience this was! Not cheap but so worth it! Amazing views from its 100ft dining destination. The staff were absolutely fantastic making it a real party in the sky. A real must do in London and Ill definitely be returning next year but for lunch or dinner.
Definitely a unique experience, good novel fun. We had the lunch flight and wine was also provided which was an unexpected bonus. Food was relatively healthy and theres music playing whilst youre eating and rotating mid-air and can chat to the friendly staff. Good if youre looking for something different as opposed to michelen starred food, and would recommend overall.
