Fish ceviche was generous and tasty, filet of fish fried in butter and garlic prawns were perfectly cooked! Piña agua fresca I as delicious and all together very cheap!

This fonda is our go-to place on Isla Mujeres. You wont find better value on the island. The food is well-prepared with good presentation. The guacamole is excellent. Weve tried pescado al mojo de ajo, pescado a la Veracruzana, enchiladas suizas, chiles rellenos (cheese), etc. All entres have arrived hot and delicious with hot tortillas. Service is timely and friendly. Cokes and drinks are cold. The prices have risen lately, but still represent good value.

Everything was delicious. I really appreciated the pricing. The place is adorable in a no frills sort of way. You can tell they serve a lot of people in the community. Its part of a string of three loncherias. This is the first of the three. The one closest to the street. I am not sure if you are supposed to put longaniza on chiliquilies, but when I asked they didnt bat an eye. It was delicious.

I was recommended this place by a friend because of it reasonable prices and tasty food. It did not disappoint! the food and Agua Frescas are made to order.The staff was kind and attentive. I had the chillaquiles verde con huevo(fried tortillas with green sauce and scrambled eggstraditional Mexican breakfast. It was delicious, the sauce was tangy with a little spice,not overwhelming, the tortillas where crunchy not soggy and the egg was moist and fluffy.I also ordered cucumber and lemon Agua Fresca sugar free.You have to order sugar free or they will sweeten the Agua Fresca.I enjoyed the service and the food.Highly Recommended

Decent, cheap meal here. Nothing to write home about, although my friends loved their micheladas. I had chilequiles Verde that were good but not spectacular. Note - there are actually 3 loncherias right next to each other on this space, so pay attention to the menus when you walk up

Our favorite place on Isla. Food is fresh, fast, authentic, local and very budget friendly. Have been coming here since 2012 and is our first stop when getting to the island. Staff always kind and efficient. Husband always gets filete del pescado al mojo de ajo. I love the chilaqiles o huevos rancheros. The fruit waters (aqua de sandiaare great too. Tried their guacamole for the first time today. Loved it!

The food is great and the prices are inexpensive as well. Much cheaper than the tourist prices a block over. My family of four ate lunch for MX$500. They start closing down around 2:30pm, so don’t go for a late lunch.

One of the best authentic local cuisine (Mexican food, seafoodrestaurants in the island and super cheap, nothing fancy in here but if you are after real local flavors this is a place to try. Weve visited a few times over the years and we keep getting great service every time. The aguachile (spicy ceviche), enchiladas, shrimp cocktails and chilaquiles are one of our favorites so far and everything seems to be prepared fresh. This place is also less than 5min away from the beach so that is a plus.

My favorite breakfast place! Not fancy, out door dining or to go, always good fresh Mexican food for cheap. Highly recommend the divorced eggs. :)

The best place to take a breakfast!Try the "Yucatan beef" and "agua chile"Economical, clean and tasty🤤 dont waste time to find a restaurant just go here. Looks like a small marketplace there are 4 or 5 locals in one plac. It is Is a couple block to the beach and in front of the "Modelorama"🍺 you got everything you need it!

Chilaquiles were amazing! Vegetarian burrito was tasty as well. Smaller portions. Staff was excellent, very attentive and accommodating!

Best cheap breakfast on the island. Fruit salad and scrambled eggs are my go-to choice. Friendly service. Located next to the market, where you can pick up fresh juice. Love this place.

had a great meal at fantastic price....3 empanadas, 3 tacos and chips with guac came to 170 pesos, and was excellent!!!....the only thing confusing, that I dont understand why it isnt noted here anywhere is that there are actually 3 different lunch counters within the same gazebo. we ate at the first one on the left. the middle menu seemed ok, but the one to the far right had the best looking menu, but didnt know it existed until we already ate.....will be going back.

Amazing ceviche, tacos... just all their food! The service is great and no worries for me as a non-Spanish speaking patron. What a great value for a low price. We eat here daily.

Waitress ignored us for 20 mins before taking our order. Also took the 3 ladies in the kitchen 1 hour to make us 6 tacos. Not only that, the tacos were by far the least tasty we had in Mexico.

Oh my this was our favorite lunch hang out for 10 days. Simple, run by a local family, serving authentic mexican food. The fish, pork tacos and guacamole were one of the best we had on the island. Will return.

Food as beautiful as the weather!

Definite a must go for a meal while on Isla! Cheapest meal of the entire trip and well worth it. There is a little bid of a wait but its so worth it. The chicken torta and fajitas were fantastic and I will be going back when I get there again!

Best place on Isla to get any kind of fresh fruit juice, smoothies, or fruit water (watermelon). The hard working ladies behind this counter turn out some amazing plates for breakfast and lunch.

Basic food, but the cheapest cantina you can find close to northbeach hotels. Egg and bacon breakfast for 35 pesos With free salsa and soft tacos. (Recycled from other tablesjust dont eat the tacos and salsa if you think its not freshly prepared . But still- fried egg and bacon for 35pesos. Thats cad$2 and 50 cents.
