Lola in Seattle
Description
Privilege
I chose Lola for breakfast during my short stay in Seattle because a review said, "best breakfast in Seattle" and they werent wrong. Ya, I ordered a simple egg, bacon, potato with toast breakfast but it certainly was the best, made with quality ingredients & cooked to perfection. I must figure out how to make those breakfast potatoes! Fantastic bloody mary as well! I ate every bite and was satiated until late evening. Thanks for the wonderful experience Lola!
MoreFirst time I visited Seattle, after having breakfast in hotel, I decided to try something "local" and opted for Lola, thanks to enthusiastic feedbacks on Internet. I can definitely confirm, I tried the Lola Breakfast and I wont forget it. Personnel was super kind and available, I would recommend this place and if I would ever come back to Seattle, Ill go back here.
MoreThe Eggs Benedict and Made-To-Order Doughnuts are absolutely delicious! Highly recommend! The fried potatoes with the eggs Benedict was really crispy and perfectly seasoned! We sat at the bar and the service was great! Very helpful and friendly! Server checked in with us to make sure we’re good and told us about their French toast. We didn’t order it but he definitely sold it to the customer next to us.
MoreCame for breakfast while waiting for friends to fly into town. Super friendly service, great food, great spot. I’m a fan!
MoreOrdered the Shakshurra and it was great; just the right blend of flavors. Dining experience was also top notch
MoreLola restaurant is Greek fusion. The menu consist of Kebabs with various proteins like Salmon, Pork, and Mushrooms; Lola Greek Spreads, peta bread, eggplant, and lamb chops. I really enjoyed their yogurt spread that I put it on my meat and my salad. This restaurant has exceptional service. Since it was our first visit to the restaurant, she took the time to explain the menu and gave us a couple of recommendations. The price is standard price considering it’s located in the city.We did order the Pork, Salmon, and Mushroom Kebab. I’d say you can’t go wrong with a Kebab. I had the pork, it was savory and had just the right amount of fat that made it taste so tender. If you are a vegetarian there’s a few choices for you too. Oh I highly suggest you order their donut (aka beignetsit comes with two different spreads! Enjoy!
MoreWould you like to eat off of another persons plate? Would you like to wait 20 mins for your food, while the rest of the table eats and pay for the privilege? Come to Lolas! Where the server disappears after you order, your food doesnt come then you realize they combined it with another coworkers plate and you have to figure it out yourself. And you also just met your coworker today! Talk to the manager and turns out they dont think its a big deal and say they had a shortage of skillets and had to combine it ?! Hes also the person who brought out the combined dish and had assured us that the other dish was on its way.... Ps one order was mushrooms and the other was pork ... Glad neither had allergies or food restrictions... But the manager glided over that as well. Thank you Tom Douglas. Never again.
MoreMust try their made to order donuts, the best I had, better than New Orlean. Octopus harsh is to die for. Jordan our server was sooo sweet and attentive. This is my stop every time I go to Seattle. Much better food than Pike place market.
MoreSlow, baby portion and tasted bad.It took over 20min to cook some baby barbecue skewers and some potatoes. They have the tiniest pita bread Ive ever seen. It tastes pretty meh if not bad. So regretted taking someone here who came to visit the city :(
MoreGreat brunch place! I ordered Eggs Benedict, which came with ham & egg & rich hollandaise sauce, topped with fresh dill 🍃. Other dishes like kebab plate came in generous portion and with Mediterranean flair. The atmosphere was bit loud for my group, but you could also read as being cheerful and lively with many people happily brunching 🙂
MoreWe had such a great dinner at Lola!! All the staff were incredible and very knowledgeable about the menu. When we had a question about the wine, our server quickly offered us a sample. The staff were so friendly and professional - they really contributed to our lovely evening. The food was excellent- good sized portions and delicious! We will definitely return again.
MoreOutstanding. The staff were so kind, finding us a seat during a very busy, understaffed Saturday brunch. Food was absolutely delicious. Fried octopus was on point. The Greek salad with the haloumi and fig skewers was one of the best Ive ever had. And the dips were so good, I cant wait to try to make them at home. We ordered the cauliflower, pistachio and carrot dips.
MoreDelicious. Great food and awesome service. Highly recommend with friends 👌
This place is always just so lovely! The food is impeccable, the staff seem genuinely happy to be there, and the Bloody Mary was a beauty. Ive never had a menu item I didnt enjoy, so you cant really go wrong. Treat yourself after your main and get the Beignets if you have a sweet tooth, or go for the gusto, and get the famous coconut pie. You wont regret it 🖤
MoreAs good as it looks! Amazingly delicious, good portion sizes, courteous staff, clean surroundings!
MoreLolas is an upscale joint to grab a delicious breakfast. Plates are very pleasing visually too. Plenty of insta worthy dishes. I had the octopus scramble. It was delicious! We also shared the donuts and they were heavenly.
MoreDelish!!! While walking around looking like little lost puppy dogs, we met a server named Jordan. He was so kind and friendly, we followed him to work (obviously at Lola), and he was our server. He is so funny and has an amazing personality!! Brad, who sat us and was managing the restaurant was also very friendly!! Food and ambiance was amazing and couldn’t ask for a better experience!! We ordered the summer scramble with smashed garlic potatoes as well as the beignet style donuts made to order with homemade berry jam and vanilla mascarpone. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and would love to go again.
MoreGreat brunch and breakfast spot. I got the Lola breakfast and my friend got the Benny. The bacon on my breakfast was so good. Seasoned so well and so crispy.
MoreI had brunch with a friend here. They were busy, but courteous and communicated a wait time that was quite accurate. The staff were cordial and helpful, and attentive to our needs. It was a wonderful experience. The food was incredible! I highly recommend it. The server graciously passed on my compliments to the people making the food. I had the mushroom kebab and they substituted the tzatziki for a vegan dip instead to accommodate my dietary restrictions. The delicious food and wonderful service earned them 5 stars.
MoreLoved this place! I love the look of the restaurant, the story behind it (read the back of the menu), the customer service, and the food. We had a short wait for a table and waited in the lobby of the hotel next door (which was beautiful). Once we sat at our table, our waitress was fantastic and very attentive. We had the special, the french toast, and my son had the donuts. I will be returning here next time Im in Seattle and will recommend this place to my friends and family.
MoreOne of my favorite restaurants in Seattle! Lola is ver popular, I’d suggest make a reservation instead walk-in.Super recommend Made To Order Doughnuts. Vanilla Mascarpone is very yummy! Kebabs are good as well!! Lamb or chicken with pitas and Greek salad are very good! For the drinks, I’d recommend grapefruit mimosa, fresh not too sweet!
MoreTheir fresh doughnuts are soooo delicious. One of our favorites!!!! We always get 2 orders! So much goodness
MoreGreat location and honestly, one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a while. I had the shakshuka and my daughter had eggs Benedict.Delicious. Highly recommend!
MoreFantastic breakfast. Eggs Benedict was outstanding. Shaved ham made the difference. Wife had pancakes. Light and tasty. Sausage was great. Coffee was great also. Too bad we did not try Dinner but time would not allow.
MoreVisiting on my first day in Seattle, and WOW what a start! At my waitress recommendation I had the pancakes and Im glad I did. They were the idyllic dream of what pancakes could be, with better texture and flavor than any other pancakes Ive ever had, and the vanilla mascarpone was perfect. The sausages were also great and incredibly flavorful.Theres clearly a ton of love poured into the food, and the service was great as well. I only wish I had room to try more of their menu!
MoreThe foods are OK but they are definitely overpriced for the quality and portion. The service was terrible at least for our visit. They forgot part of our order. I also asked for extra breads which came when I was done with my food! I would not recommend this restaurant and I think you may have better choices.
MoreCorrection to the hours: they are closed on Saturday from 2-3 Pm. Also, this place should be $$$.Small portions, yummy food and nice ambiance. Service is slow but the staff is kind. This place possibly is good for a date.
MoreSo glad Lola survived the pandemic. It’s been my favorite breakfast spot this end is downtown for the longest time. Come check it out, the smashed garlic fried potatoes paired with eggs and sausage is amazing.
MoreThis place always makes me happy when I leave. Its extremely busy for lunch, but that can be expected if you want exceptional Greek food made fresh. You can never go wrong with the kebabs here..my favorite is the Washington Chicken. Its always moist, falls off the stick easily and is well seasoned. The breakfast here is also a must.
MoreWe had breakfast here and it was very good. I had eggs Benedict and it was perfect. The server and hostess were both friendly and helpful. We had a ten minute wait and there is a comfortable lounge area to wait in.
MoreI was hoping for a solid eggs benny and a bloody and I got way more than I was hoping! Bloody mix was beautifully rich in flavor without being too thick and the spice was fantastic.Hollandaise on the Benny was outstanding. Im no food critic, but Id describe it as very flavorful without being heavy. The muffin (hugeand meat were also world class.Go here, your life will be better if you do.
MoreGreat breakfast selection, much better than any hotel around, the atmosphere of the place is also very nice, and the waiter was friendly. The big problem is that they only have one waiter and too many customers so it is not humanly possible for one person to serve the entire place efficiently. I guess it is a way of maximising revenue with the caveat of delaying orders. If they could improve service speed this would be 5 stars instead.
MoreGreat place for breakfast! Great portion sizes and everything was pretty good. The donuts were amazing, especially with the jam and cream.
MoreArt Deco restaurant with modern Greek cuisine salmon kebab was cook well great presentation and deliciousWe were there for lunch time limited menu for lunchFriendly staff like open kitchen$$$
MoreMy go to place when heading to events in the center or meeting people. Great drinks, quick and shareable bites, delicious desserts.
MoreCame in for breakfast and breakfast was done being served. I ordered a drink to not waste the host/servers time of us being sat. Ended up paying $30 for a drink and 2 orange juice. The drink wasn’t strong nor even tasted like it had alcohol at all. Probably won’t return as they seem to not be too kindly to Black people inside the establishment.
MorePopped in here and I Sunday morning around 10:00 and was faced with a 30-minute wait. It turned out to be exactly 30 minutes based upon the estimate that was given to me when I gave them my name.I started at the bar and had a bloody mary to kill time while I watch some YouTube how to videos.By the time a text came indicating my seat was ready I overheard that the weight had increased to an hour and 15 minutes for newcomers.Individually nothing rated higher than a 4 out of five the collectively Im reading this a 5 out of five because the prices were expected the food was pretty good and the atmosphere was on par with what you would expect. Friendly staff.
MoreEnormous portions and a beautiful interior. The food was good, Im not a fan of sweet sausages. Id recommend stopping by and trying the donuts.
MorePretty good service food is deliciousKebab flavor is quite special, BBQ Fig and cheese, grill Curry mushroom, very middle East flavor actuallySpaghettis taste normal, but Donuts so deliciousIn summary its a good restaurant, taste awesome, but I dont think its Greek flavor
MorePortions are small, food is delicious, a bit over priced.Recommend the kopanisti spread which is a whipped feta and blue cheese with pistachios.Extra pitas cost extra 5 dollars. It is all very cute and good for a bite and drinks.
MoreAmazing breakfast! Great place to have food. The smoked salmon scramble was really yummy. It has a lot of cream to be aware. The donuts are pretty good! The fried donuts are small and have a lot of different flavors.
MoreFood was great! The potato was a little big too big for me but my friend loves them! We got the egg benedict and Kebab platter. They are great. A little on the pricey end. We ended with about $25-30 per person.
MoreAbsolutely loved it here! Came for dinner and food was FANTASTIC. It is a great spin or updated version of some traditional Greek food. Drinks were great and staff was very nice.
MoreI was looking forward to taking my boyfriend to a nice breakfast place. Reviews seemed good, menu looked great. We got there and we instantly noticed they didn’t vacuum from the day before. We ordered the salmon scramble, pancakes to share, and the Lola breakfast. It’s very expensive for what it is.There was hair in the pancakes. Long blond hairs. Everything was bland. It made us second guess if we had covid or not because we could barely taste anything. Very little flavor. The salmon and goat cheese was about the o Lu thing that had flavor but it wasn’t balanced; way too rich. Everything else, no flavor. Pancakes had good texture but plain bread tastes more flavorful then the pancakes. I like to judge a place by its most simple/basic meal, and they can’t even get pancakes right. We were both really disappointed, especially my boyfriend, and he isn’t a picky person. So, that’s saying something.
MoreFantastic menu and even more fantastic staff. This place is delicious, comfortable and a perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or brunch. 10/10 recommend the donuts, too.
MoreI really enjoyed our experience at Lola. Its conveniently located within walking distance from most downtown locations. We had two of the spreads, both of which were delicious. Then we shared the mushroom kebabs and the fig and halloumi kebabs. The fig and halloumi are a must try! The only downside is they are a little small! Would definitely recommend if visiting the downtown Seattle area.
MoreGreat service. The eggs benedict were delicious and the tostada was very tasty too! I would like that they improve their menu bacause some food that I wanted to order wasnt there, like the tostada. This place is expensive but their food is good!
MoreThe place was nice and cozy. I just wish they had more vegan food options. Im vegetarian and I dont eat egg either and there were literally just 2 items to choose from. I ordered dolmades and mushroom kebab platter. Both were well cooked and tasted nice. For drinks, I ordered coffee and my husband ordered a ginger sprintzer. Price per person was around $25 excluding tip.
MoreThis is our 3rd time back, and it’s not going to be our last! Food is always amazing, staff is super friendly, overall fun atmosphere and a family favorite.
MoreFood overall good but… table was sticky with crumbs on the booth chair. Head hostess came off as rude (we came as a pair of twenty somethings). Came without reservation, sat us closest to restroom despite being under capacity.Spreads come with whole wheat pita akin to English muffin. Two spreads:cauliflower and anchovy: 6/10. Mild more dry than expected. Less fishy taste than anticipated.kopanisti, pistachio, mavrodaphne: 8/10. Strong blue cheese feta tastes. Drizzle with balsamic ish topped with pistachio. Strong flavor.Calamari 10/10. Large portion. Fried squid what’s not to enjoy?Kebab:Washington Chicken. 10/10 served sizzling plate with some sort of onion sauce of sorts poured into plate. Comes with three skewers small portion. Delightful. Chicken cooked just right.Duroc pork. 4/10. Served with chicken kebab as well. Think sweet pork chunks. Drier than chicken. Not fan of flavor. Would not get again. All and all, Tom Douglas restaurant owned but is worth it? Caters to older crowd.
