Lokál Hamburk - Czech restaurant in Prague, Czech Republic
Place ist super Kids friendly, i Liked that. Service was friendly and fast, portions could have been little larger
Modern take on classic traditional beer cafe with traditional food and friendly staff.
Lovely place to get lunch with people and enjoy the local cuisine.
Awesome awesome pilsner. They even have the date they opened the new barrel written near the main counter and the cups are washed in plain sight in a super hygienic and organized system. I dont think I can drink beer in my home country again..
Best place in Prag, service is amazing and the menus changes every day. Typically Czech food and drinks. Not expensive
Great local food at a wonderful price. Great service and friendly folks. Highly recommend!!!
Delicious Czech Segedin goulash with dumplings, fast service, nice staff.
Good sausages, the burger is medium rare. Only lager beer.
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. This pub was recommended by our host and it definitely worths a visit while staying in Karlín! We liked the fried chees a lot. Strongly recommended if you are beer lovers! It is also very affordable in comparison to other restaurants and pubs in Prague.
The Restaurant ist a mix between a bar and a Restaurant. They have excellent beer from the tap (Pilsener Urquell an others). The food is really good. They have Czech specialities also as a kind of starters, so you can try different things.
Amazing Lokal food and atmosphere, would visit Prague only to eat here.
The food was hopeless and looked worse than the canteen. Very loud in the place and lots of flies. I booked a table at the restaurant, there were already 3 other reservations on my table and after an hour we were told to find another place or leave. It was very weak towards the client. A star for beer only. I do not recommend !!!
Modern czech pub with tasty beer and food like from grandma! Great and friendly service! Highly recommend to try its best from Czech cuisine
Authentic food, portion of meat could be bigger. Really tasty. Service is great. Brewery just around the corner.
Beer is always good, but last Thursday my whole team had lunch there and caught stomach flu. Of course its hard to proof, that it was the source, but its the only place where 5 of us ate together during that week.
the atmosphere here is really original. Like going back in time. Their beer is really great, but one of the most expensive in town! we didnt try the food here, but they cook here too. There was a lot of noise, because was full, but the staff were very friendly and swift.
Simple, but superb food, big portions, great service. I also liked bright and spacious interior.
Absolutely lovley tradional restaurant. Service is super fast. Food is traditional and tasty. High recomendation for the chicken soup.
Unfortunately not quite a destination for vegetarians. On the other hand, what do you expect in a traditional Czech kitchen.
Such friendly service and delicious food! First night in Prague couldn’t have started better! Absolutely recommend this place!
Very nice pub, good beer and food, what else to wish for.Unfortunately, as its quite popular, during the evenings it can be quite crowded. They also offer a daily menu for very good prices so often I stop by for lunch.
We have visited Lokal in downtown a few days ago which was great, that is why we decided to try this as our hotel was very close, we were not disapointed, we will come back for sure one day.
Absolutely phenomenal experience! We ate here on our first day in Prague and was not disappointed. The food, and most importantly the Beer were phenomenal! My partner is Celiac and although there werent many options, she still found something to eat she liked and also thoroughly enjoyed it with a cider.Would definitely recommend, and well probably be back there again during our stay! The staff are fantastic and speak amazing English.
Lovely local place. Ambience is not restaurant quality as its a bistro kinda operation, plus a chain. Staff really quick and friendly. Tasty food, been there 2 times had good experiences. Not too pricy as well. Ticks all tje boxes for me.
The pub is ok, however I dont understand the "prestige" around the lokal restaurants. The beer didnt feel fresh, just average and you get get better quality in many other Czech restaurants. The food was also ok, on par again with your average restaurant. In the end I say its not worth it as it tends to be very full so it gets very loud (nothing strange in pubs, but at least Id expect a higher quality here)
I’m sure the food here is authentic, it just… didn’t taste good? The fried carp starter was full of pinbones. The mains were completely lacking any kind of seasoning or spice whatsoever. The desserts were just off - the poppy cake had little flavor besides a vague tang, like bland yogurt/cheese. I know this place is supposed to be a local institution, so maybe I just don’t get Czech food!
The quality of the burger with the side dishes is very bad and over priced. It is not recommended
Mixing in the same table people that want to dinner with people only drinking beers is not a good idea. And the place is really noisy, i got terrible headache. Probably just avoid it for dinner and enjoy lunch. Food is good and price reasonable.
Super Pilsner beer with very nice women-staff. Mostly traditional Czech food prepared excellently. One of my most favorite pub
The best fried cheese in Prague! And the Tatar sauce is awesome!Good beer and the prices are average for such a good food.
Amazing place, which is very popular among the locals and tourists as well. Great both for dinner and lunch. Having great selection of local specialities from starters to desserts. My absolute favourite is fried cheese with potatoe salad!
As always excellent Czech atmosphere and great food! This blood sousage was big, tasty or not tasty it was delicious! Atmosphere is always authentic and super friendly there too! Well done Ambiente!!
We ended up almost eating here every day... It was so good. And authentic. And had such cheap delicious beer. Make sure on the weekend you have a reservation or you might not get a table
The Pilsner beer is amazing. Clearly one of the best place to experience authentic Czech beer.We didnt have a chance to order food, but we could see that the food looked really good. Also, unlike other bars where you can drink a lot of beer, this place is very clean, even in the toilet.
We went there without a reservationBetter to make a reservationBut overall that was a good experience in PragueJust go for chezh beer and some food. This place is for enjoyment and loud talk. 😊
Very delicious food for fair prices. The service is also extraordinary. The waitress explained the dishes to us patiently.
Finally a real local place in Prague. This is a chain of local diners serving comforting Czeck food and beer of course. They have really cute drinking cards to count what your table can drink - what a great challeng 🍺🍺🍺🤣
Best beer and Czech classic specialities you can find. Together with retro style it makes perfect atmosphere of days we remember from our childhood. Will come again for more than two beers for sure!
A very nice pub, where you also have some food next to your beer. The beer is very good, but if the barrel is empty it takes quite some time to pop a new one.The staff is fast and proffesional. In the summer its great to be outside with a beetbeer, enjoying the beautiful square.A good place to meet local people.ก
Staff bit confused, we were served by multiple waiters, maybe that is the source of confusion, but staff was very friendly and polite. Food is higher average, for fair prices. The surrounding retro concept chain is widely known and popular. Toilets are bit bothering me but still clean
Fantastic local food, exceptional service, but above all... amazing draught beer!! A tiny bit pricier than usual, but totally worth it!!
Great first meal in Prague. Authentic Czech food, lots of locals, very warm friendly staff that speaks English. Waiter gave us recommendations of the fried cheese and the beef and they were amazingly good. Will return
It’s a popping pub, with Pilsner flying out of the tap. I always witness this place pretty busy in the evening during the work week. In the summer you can cross the street and enjoy the park.
Want to eat some "svíčková", "guláš" or "smažák"? This is the place to go. One of the best restaurants for Czech food in Prague imho. Not fancy, but you get what you need. And the service is also great.
Beer beer beer! Drink first and pay later! The place is very popular amongst locals but travellers are equally welcome here. Went to this place on a Friday and it was really busy. Recommend going there early if you want a seat.
Best tartar Ive had in Prague, and in top 3 tartars Ive had anywhere. Their pilsner is also great and goes really well with the said tartar. My go to place when I have friends visiting. It is acasual place and very popular in the evenings, I recommend reserving a table even on weekdays if you have more than 3 people and going after 18.
They make sure that you get the best and freshest pilsener available. Its the good and tasty food as well which makes you want return again. Service exceptional friendly and welcome! Cant wait to come back...
Five stars if for no other reason than that this location has take away beer and food that you can bring across the road to the park. On warm summer days it cant be beat. Very yummy too.
This place was awesome! A couple friends and I came here for dinner on our first night in Prague by recommendation from a tourist guide book. The atmosphere here was very lively but not too loud to have a good time. I had the butchers sausage for an appetizer, a fish dish for the main meal, and the caramel profiterole for dessert - all of which were full of flavor and gave us a good impression of Czech cuisine. Being here as a tourist, we were unsure if we were to seat ourselves or if there were reservations needed, but the staff helped us out. Service was commendable as well.
Its Lokal and it means that everything is OK. Good beer, good food (ourfavourite is smazak). Even if you cannot expect sensational dishes, its thetasty and simple Czech cousine.
