didnt get to stay at the hotel but visited for a coffee. coffee is good enough, brownies and ice cream not bad, glad to have this little gem in loikaw. the cafe is so scenic and its a cool place to chill. like the way how they have decorated the cafe.
Not too bad
Fair price new hotel
The lodge is located in the very quiet and charming neighborhood by the lake in Loikaw. It designed like a Swiss Chalet House and run by the Swe Yi and her husband Jens, a German photographer.I spent a week at this fantastic lodge when they reopen after the global pandemic break in June 2020. The owner Swe Yi is an amazing Burmese lady. She always has answers to my curiosities and gave me many helpful tips for my stay in Kayah State. Talking about the local specialties and sharing the stories and experiences with her make me feel like home and me to forget that I am a guest. The service is great, the staffs are skillful in their service and very welcoming. The room is clean, well lighted, not over furnish. They have decorated all the rooms with ethnic fabric and photos of the beautiful tribes from Kayah can make you feel the authentic experience that says you are in Kayah now.The breakfast tip! Try the homemade Jams, Yogurt, and fresh-baked bread. THey are the highlights. The menu is totally European as they dont want to compete with local restaurants. The owners also try to be more sustainable and practices more responsible ways. I have learned that they only use local suppliers for the foods, all the staffs are local and from different ethnic tribes: Kayah, Kayaw. And they are also trying to set up more eco-friendly practices and more.Thank you so much Swe Yi and team for your excellent services that make me feel like home! Highly recommend for your future stay in Loikaw.
We loved the hotel for its eco friendly practices, excellent views, and the food. They had refillable Korken water bottles in every room. The dining tables were always set with beautifully folded linen napkins. The lodge is little far from the downtown area but is located right by the lake with beautiful views. The rooms are spacious with doors opening to the porch on both the floors. The hallways are lined with beaitiful potraits of tatooed women of chin state and other regions of myanmar. The owner is an expert on the subject (the owner is an expert on the topic). In terms of food, we only had breakfast, which was delicious everyday with home baked bread, homemade yogurt, fresh fruits, fresh fruit juice and excellent coffee. If you are craving for local foods, there are two good restaurants within 5 mins walking distance. The icing on the cake is the friendliness of the owners, their lovely daughters, and the staff. Thank you for a lovely stay and making us feel at home. We will be back (hopefully soon).
The Hotel has a quiet environment, clean and spacious rooms with international standards. Staff are well trained and hospitality. Breakfast is simple and fresh food. Rates are also reasonable, really nice service with super wide and clean room with a good lake view outside. The service and quality there is one of the best hotel. Big lake is very relaxing for the times.
Best place
awesome place
A nice hotel with lake view.
nice location and good for walking in morning and evening.breakfast is not good.
Beautiful hotel in loikaw
Clean neat, only local breakfast, staff didnt know too much English.
No one is picking up the phone.
Good hotel
Beatifully decorated, great atmosphere, a wonderful place to disconnect!
Accommodation is not very good at new building, noisy at night. The lift is so narrow. Only 4 thin people can enter. Water are not hot, the heater cannot fix on time. Just say cannot, not change the room. So bad.One thing, breakfast is very good.
Pros: Very spacious hotel rooms. Location is easy to find.Cons: Abit scary as it is an old hotel. The bungalows are entirely made of wood so they are abit creaky and the whole room moves of the next room beside closes or opens the door. Not sound proof at all too.
Friendly staff, good breakfast and safe stay

A very old hotel with below average service. Would not recommend staying here.
Still need to improve hotel services
good
For a hotel in a remote location this surprised me with the standards achieved. The rooms are a little tired but good enough with wonderful hot showers. Noise from adjacent building work was an initial worry but stopped in the evening and we were out most of the day. There is a gorgeous infinity pool and great coffee available from the bar.
Really Nice HotelI like
A nice place with sweet smile
The room was ok, but the bathroom was old and dirty. Wifi was so weak I needed to go to the lobby to do my business. I changed rooms twice but they are more less the same. I was going to stay here for 2 nights but have my travel agent changed the hotel. Thank god.
Fair price, Bad services
Lovely family hotel with excellent bread, butter and breakfast. Great hospitality.
Thank
Good
If your in Loikaw, may be by far the best place to stay..and their coffee a must even if your passing by and they do some of the best pastas that one can find anywhere along Eastern borders of Burma. This hotels run by a couple who will make your stay pleasant as possible and their staff are absolutely fabulous people!
This was my favorite hotel during our stay in Myanmar. I actually ordered wine here and not only did they have it, but it was good! It’s a short list, but mostly Italian, current vintage and fairly priced. The rooms overlook the lake and sunset. Breakfast is intimate, made to order and delicious. I’m guessing the hotel is family run, which I also like. Friendly, clean and serene. Not “over the top” resort-y. Perfect.
Feel comfort
Nice hotel a bit expensive though.
Big room , high ceiling and large bath room . Good service and informative place . Good lake view and fresh air coming from the lake .
Thr room style is not too wide and can hear the voice from the other rooms
Cozy and tranquil place for your stay in Loikaw. Just love it!!! :)
Stayed here with my wife on our first trip to Myanmar, from Singapore. Gorgeous place run by a German and Myanmarese couple. Its a boutique establishment with only about 12 rooms. Super clean and neat and excellent service. Prices are very reasonable given the hotel will also arrange personalised tours based only on your agenda. Myanmar can be hard to navigate, especially for the first time, so very much appreciated the level of service and care that began when we booked itself from Singapore. Expect top level standards and local delights. Will be back for sure.
Not bad
Hotel close to spa , ktv and restaurant.
beside of Lake.end of street.nice place. clean and smart.
