Had lunch with colleagues here. Just trying their germany breakfast platter. Looks small but trust me their portion is big eventho it is breakfast platter. Worth the try. They served it hot! Loved it. I took lunch set (platter and lime cold drinks), cost below rm20.

Like it till the max!! Superb CS!! U feel friendly & warmth. We tried japanese fresh oyster was extremely fresh!!! Ribeye was well cook w medium rare!! House red was good too!!! Will set as my default resto now!! 11/10 !!

Really disappointed with the food. Didn’t even finish our dinner. Tasteless. Did the chef give up on life? Please consider early retirement and give someone else the opportunity to cook.The only saving grace was the ox tail soup.

The meal that I had was highly recommended by the waitress but honestly it was very dry n over cooked, the chicken was very hard and tasteless, wont really recommend this place to anyone but I like the settings, very village like out in German winter, other than that nothing much to say

They serve Paulaner beer here. Food is alright. This restaurant has been here since Taipan opened about 20 years ago. A simple, no frills homely western restaurant. It is also clean. Car parking is more in the evening.

1. The famous roast chicken is tough, small and not at all juicy.2. French onion soup was disgusting.3. Too noisy4. Service was good. Waiters were friendly.5. Classic ambience.

Place was nice, I had an wonder full time on the soup and main dish steak was nicely done and w eqete early and many other came after that, it was my advance birthday treat by my friend who enjoys the food there . I give 5 star. Really nice and will be going for other food that was recommended next time

Overall taste is 4 stars food was delicious and acceptable for the price. Layout and interior is a bit outdated but very clean.Started of with mushroom soup but it taste like instant we got free garlic bread. Would taste better of they add mushrooms to it.Portobello is a MUST TRY 100% delicious and would definitely come back for it!Half Ribs with Oyster taste delicious, thumbs up for the oysters. Very fresh and to my liking. It comes with fries and was fried well crispy on the outside soft in the inside.Striplion 280g really juicy and comes with baked potato, had it medium and taste superb!

Ordered the roast chicken set dinner which came with a soup of choice, a drink and bread. Roast chicken was abit dry. Sauce for the chicken was quite bland. Oxtail soup wasnt strong enough but thats fair as it came with the set. Will recommend you to request for olive oil and balsamic vinegar to go with the garlic bread (which is on the house). Fresh juice is pretty standard.Went on weekday night. Plenty of spaces. Doesnt support e-wallet payment

Environment is ok but is a bit too crowded. Food is fine but the portion is big. Their oyster is pretty fresh but the lemon is just too small.The salmon is a bit overcook but the sauce taste nice. The grilled chicken is pretty big portion and the skin is crispy. Portobello is very nice.Pricing is moderate.

My favorite steak place...

Went to eat yesterday. Felt disappointed. The standard has dropped tremendously. The escargot used to be the best but not anymore, not fresh and the cheddar cheese not nice. The baked oysters also not fresh. The lamb shank also not up to the standard. Mushroom soup omg taste just like from fast food restaurant. The waiter/waitress cant understand simple english. I think they have changed the head chef.

Can’t go wrong with their Roasted Chicken, very well seasoned and tendered meat. They also have a happy hour dinner menu with a lower price menu from 5-7PM.

Excellent beer. All bottled ofcourse. Eventhough they claim that it is draft. All beers from Paulaner to Heineken are bottled. Take note beer loversBut I was quite disappointed with the portions of some food dishes. Imagine a real German customer going into see small portions of food.Could have been more generous.

They claim that their beer is "Draft beer" which is misleading.All beers served here are from bottles. From Paulaner to Heineken. All bottled beer.They do have fancy glasses though.Food is alright. The portion is quite conservative compared to the price.Had a simple dish plus beer and they hit me with a 60RM bill (tax and Service charge inclusive). Not sure they deserve the service charge or not. Needed to remind the waiters about the condiments, drinks and even bread. None offered by them ofcourse.

Delicious food and many set lunch choices to choose from. Staff very prompt n friendly. Great ambience n definitely coming back for more.

Worst steak I ever had. We ordered steak, not properly cooked. Medium = well done. The vegetables is cold, the bread hard as stone. The portebello is flooded with oil. The prawn and oysters are not fresh. Mushroom soup is instant soup. What’s wrong with these ppl tastebud for giving 5 stars reviews

Went there for new years dinner and the place was packed. Luckily there was no need for prior reservation, just had to wait for a short while. The New Year menu was limited and we had the roasted chicken, ribeye and beef ribs (as per the pictures attached). Price was on the high side (rm250 for 3 set & 1 beerbut it might be due to the festive occasion or inflation (it has been more than a decade since my last visit). Service was prompt considering the crowd. Decent steakhouse w long establishment (20+ years in Taipan?but does not excel in taste, menu nor ambience

First time dined in ,because of the wagyu beef steak,luckily it tasted not bad.Roasted chicken still okay ,beef herbs(Hungarian goulashsoup is normal,not everyone enjoys ..Complimentary garlic bread ,some are soggy ,few are crispy .The escargot sauce too strong dairy taste ,like blue cheese smell ,the escargot too soft and tasteless ...Luckily the price is reasonable .Staffs are friendly,boss less friendly but he still attended us.

Visited the restaurant on the 7/12/2021 around 545pm for an early dinner. Place was empty as expected. Ordered the mushroom soup only to see its out of a can. I could have made a better soup myself and need not pay premium price for a substandard meal. Pull up your socks please.

A local USJ9 institution.Lamb shank I ordered was fall off the bone tender, shame that the taste was quite lacking.My wife ordered the house specialty Roast Chicken, which was great.The sides of both were very good.I would suggest ordering the chicken next time.

My wife says 5 Stars! LoL! We really enjoyed the food tonight. Maybe should have ordered something else apart from the escargot. The deliciousness has hampered the goodness of the escargot which might be great... No worries... Next time. I miss its Roasted Chicken...

This restaurant serves the best wagyu sirloin steak with brussel sprout and baked potato sour cream in Subang Jaya area. Try also the escargot and baked oyster while you are at it. For starters the ghoulash soup is simply spot on. The staff and owner are very friendly and will help you to choose the perfect dish for you. Be aware that dinner time here is always at full capacity. During MCO 2.0 they offer take away via food panda. Go ahead and try those succulent steak, it is to die for 🥰👌

Western cuisine restaurant in Taipan USJ. Love the German pan-fried potato, mushroom soup and rum & raisin ice cream. Other food are pretty decent too.

Food was mediocre. Ordered lunch set, it came with mushroom soup but tasted like canned soup. Fish and chips was disappointing, the sausages and meat patty was alright. On the up side, the environment was cosy and staff were friendly

Food portions are generous, taste is not bad. I like the sauce.Service is attentive. Lime juice had no tasre though, too much ice.The interior is like from the 90-s with a lot of wood. Good place to wind down after a days work. Serves beer.

Atmosphere is good, food is moderate with reasonable price. The sirloin steak slightly hard, suggest to put some rose salt to enhance the taste, good match with red wine. The side dish of boiled veggies are too soft. Escargot taste normal, but the garlic cheese is marvelous. Complimentary garlic bread is good too.

Excellent food with cozy place. Service was great and comfort. Only during peak hours might need to be patience on waiting the queue.The ribs so tender, juicy, and tasty. Ordered also the lamb braten and roasted half chicken. The lamb taste nice and tender. The chicken was superb. The side dish red cabbage taste plain.Do not forget to order the imported german beer. Got 2 options of beer that taste good.Price overall acceptable with that kind of quality and portion. For family dinner or dinning with friends would be a recommended place.

Good and nice lunch sets with a mix of local and western cuisine. It is more expensive if compared to other competitors in the area like Uncle Don’s and Brew House. Nevertheless, food is delicious and ambience is nice.

A great place for western food at reasonable price. Make sure to book for seats as the place is usually crowded at night. Their roast chic taste nice and you can order meat platter for sharing too. Food portion is generous and taste decent. We paid around 200++ for 8 people meal. Reasonable price and would come again.However your shirts would smells oily after visiting.

Great food at a reasonable price. The roasted chicken here is tender and juicy. The seafood plater portion is big and fresh.The onion soup is simply awesome! Very thick baked cheese on top of a nice clear onion soup.Loved the place 10 years ago... still love it here! A 5 star restaurant for the price!

Good place with good food. Food preparation was quick. Only waited around 10 mins for food to be well served. Sizzling lamb chop is good with roasted potato, veges and also egg. First time having lamb with egg, but it suit well with the roasted potato. My friend having roasted chicken, the taste is so-so. Ambiance is nice, eventhough being served by mostly foreigners.

Have been to this place for quite a few years. Service is always top and the food has never disappointed. Recently tried their Burger Banjir and it was really good. The bun could have been a bit softer though 😁. The waffle with ice cream(rum & raisin!is a good shot as well!
