Lodge Outback Motel in Broken Hill

A good quality motel with really good service, air conditioning, TV, airflow. I just wish the pool area was open

Doesnt look like much (Broken Hill after allbut surprisingly comfortable. Rooms are a strange mix of modern tun and shower with very old walls and furniture. Bed and pillows are ery comfortable. Room is clean. Staff are very warm and friendly. No onsite food and nothing close by.

Great value, staff were amazing. Hard to keep room warm due to the drafts and high ceilings but we managed 👍

Comfortable, clean and pleasant environment. The pool was a bonus and good location to the main areas. Staff very accommodating and helpful.

Staff were great. The room was very old & in need of a renovation. Bathroom extremely small & air conditioner wasnt working properly so the nights were hot. Very disappointed

Friendly, helpful, unique. In walking distance to CBD and herritage attractions and still quiet location. Variety of room options available.

Inside rooms in the old house are lovely and furnished appropriately and renovated.The motel rooms however are extremely small and salvo/vinnie style furnished and in need of a good update and renovation inside and out!.The motel rooms are small and just acceptable for 2 people but not recommended for 3 even though they have 3 beds. Bathroom door is only about 50cm wide with an extremely small combined toilet and shower.Better find another hotel. .large peeps!

We experienced a warm welcome from Jodie who took us to the most amazing room; crisp white sheets and a feeling of being in an historical building (which of course we were!). The hotel was spotless and breakfast was offered in our room!Excellent- well worth a stay.

We’ve just had a great stay of four nights in total. Really well located in a beautiful old BH house. Staying in the main house was great as you got a sense of the history of the home and the town. While the place is older and a little run down it is very clean and comfortable. Jodie the manager was super friendly and helpful and very welcoming. We look forward to our next stay when we return to this unique part of Australia!

A/C switch wasnt labelled so had a hard time figuring out how to turn it on, outlet next to the bed was broken, switch for the A/C unit operated backwards. Other than that it was a great night! Comfortable beds, clean room & friendly service

A very clean and well presented place with all amenities needed. Would be happy to return and stay again. Its not the most modern place but its clean quiet and comfortable which is what you want. And inexpensive.

Had a lovely stay in this gorgeous historic building. The rooms were spacious and clean and beds were so comfy - luxurious! The manager was very kind and cheerful and nothing too much trouble. This was an absolute gem, everything you hope for when you book into an historic hotel 👌😊

The family room was just perfect with everything we could possibly need. It was great value for money. Beds were comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. The host was friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool. This is the 3rd motel in Broken Hill we have stayed at and we will stay again.

a bit tired, but with every reason to be. once a grand residence it still offers plenty of charm and is excellent value. the room we had was in the old residence, complete with high ceilings and a comfortable bed. in 40-odd degree heat the aircon is a must, but the rooms gets cool quickly and stays that way thanks to the thick stone walls. our room was clean and had a fridge and microwave. very good value in an otherwise a generally expensive place, easy to recomment.

Made to feel very welcome. Heritage Room very spacious. Great parking. Coffee plunger nice touch. Nice crisp white sheets, plenty of towels.

Lovely room with ensuite. Everything we needed was provided. The staff were really nice and accommodating. Only a 6 minutes walk to the heart of town. Will definitely stay again.

Had a lovely stay at this cute cottage style motel. the lady Christin who runs the spot is really sweet and helpful. fresh milk upon arrival and an affordable breakfast service at your door in the time of your choosing. The spa bath was great and the room was clean and spacious for the price. would definitely recommend if staying in Broken Hill. thanks for having me!

Lovely staff, clean room with comfortable bed. Plenty of power outlets and tv can be seen from bed. Shower separate to wash basin. Narrow doorway into shower/toilet. I would stay here again next visit.

Classic Queen room. Positives: good comfortable bed. Nice and clean, friendly reception.Negatives: really small shower/toilet. I struggled with room and Im 54" my partner 66" couldnt fit. A/C really struggled in the heat. 2 star rating at best.

HiI had a wonderful stay at this motel. I felt like I was staying in a private home. My room was lovely and clean with so many facilities and the bathroom was modern and big. I would stay there again and have already recommended it to everyone else who may visit.Audrey

This was a great find, we were very happy with our room.Staff are friendly and very accommodating.We appreciated the extra touches, filtered drinking water, plunger coffee and well stocked kitchenette.We found the accommodation to be very clean.Thank you, we will stay again

Absolutely amazing the staff are very friendly and helpful the rooms are clean and comfortable had a fantastic two night stay perfect location beds are very comfortable there is a kettle microwave toaster fridge hairdryer tea coffee sugar plenty of storage to hang up your clothes and pack away the suitcases and parking right outside your rooms My Mum and I absolutely loved it cant wait for the next trip. If you come to Broken Hill I highly recommend you stay here . Thank you very much and look forward to seeing you all of yous in September

Excellent place to stay. Chris is fantastic and welcomes you like long lost friends. What a darling she is.Lovely older place with upgrades. Rooms just fine. Big bed and lovely linen. Small and cosy shower and toilet with large sink. Teas coffees fridge and micro. Everything you need plus park outside your room.
