Excellent food, fantastic drinks and some of the best bartenders in town! Always fun on a Tuesday trivia night or anytime there’s a game on.

Amazing food! Kitchen open till midnight, and late eats are a must!!

The bar was fun, but the bartender had a man with a last name similar to my boyfriends and gave his debit card to some stranger! When we asked about what happened the guy yelled at us and told us it was an “accident”. We get that but you should ID people to make sure the debit card matches. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!

That dude David is the GOAT. Great guy, great bartender, great place. Never been to a better spot than local bar and grill baby let’s go!!

Food was really good. Its a nice space to hang out,isten to some music and watch a game. Its a Good Local Bar! :-)

$4 Texas Teas on Friday, need I say more? My friends and I love coming here on nights out. Its always a fun time & the shareables are 10/10. Definitely recommend!

Great Bar food and a more than fun staff if you stop in during slower times, but Thurs-Saturday night you can usually expect Broadway to be jumpin if youre looking for more of a party

Drinks are always cold and consistently made well. Friendly staff and incredible menu by the chef. Don’t miss their lunch and/or Saturday brunch!

I love Local as a bar, it’s never not a great time and the drinks are always good. During the day, it’s my favorite place to have lunch. The food is absolutely amazing and if you haven’t tried it you really should. They also have brunch every Saturday that is always amazing!

I am an avid potato lover and when I tell you they have good fries. THEY HAVE GOOD FRIES. The Mac n cheese bites #amazing. The tacos #ToDieFor. Not to mention their $4 adult cherry limeades 💙 Amazing and refreshing. I recommend local to anyone who comes to Lubbock visiting TTU

Went to the bar to hear a speaker. Just got some shareable items. Chili and face sized nachos. Though the chili was fairly spicy and the nachos were twice the size of my face, I enjoyed my experience and the service there was great. Mind you, this was early on a Tuesday night but I will likely go back due to my great experience.

Its was chill, they had some good music playing & the bartenders where fast.I would say its a good place to go with some friends.

Local Bar and Grill has been more than just a hangout spot, but also a great local spot for lunch meetings. The food has always been delicious, the staff has always been attentive and courteous, and the management has always provided great leadership for the business. Highly recommend.

In short, we were kicked out. My friends and I walked into a very boring scene. No one was dancing, people were just sitting around, trying to be too good looking to enjoy themselves.Thats not myself, nor my friends. We wanted to dance, so we did. And then everyone else was dancing, and we were dancing with them. We were quite literally the party for what was a very boring scene.I wouldnt be writing this if I felt there was no overreaction, let me make that clear. I thought that by the time the staff/bouncers got there, they were acting on the DJs reaction.My friend accidentally and lightly bumped the wall in front of the DJ booth. I was already standing up there, right next to where she stepped. She stepped up, and then as she turned, she LIGHTLY bumped a wall in front of the DJs table, and admittedly, the entire wall fell, and then onto the DJs stuff.Im not sure what type of terribly constructed, wobbly, TV tray equipment they gave this DJ for his equipment, or if he chose this, but his equipment wouldnt have fallen from anything resembling an actual table. My friend hit a light wall about thigh high, and then the wall knocked his stuff over. He immediately got into my friends face, began yelling at her, spitting in her face, and then bouncers told us to get out. That was it.But it was a massive overreaction from the bouncers there, and the spitting DJ. My friends and I are black and educated, and we are not old, but old enough to hold our darn liquor, and wondered if a cute little white girl had hit it or knocked it down, if it would have gotten the same reaction. My friend was not drunkenly stumbling all over the place, it was something even a sober person could have done, just lightly bumped into something as they turned. The DJ especially, and the staff, overreacted by a LOOOOOOOOOOONG shot. Between the time the wall fell, and we were kicked out, was less than one minute.That place sucked before we walked in. If you go, make sure someone fun is already there.And let me make it quite clear, again, that if my friend were drunkenly stumbling around and being irresponsible, I would not have even written this. It would be her fault. But the way we were treated was just completely unnecessary.

Fun place. A little packed on weekend nights for my taste. I would like to try their food sometime.

The Poorest customer service ever, 5 bartenders and none would walk 10ft to serve my party. We were 3 patrons and from California. It was our first time to Lubbock. Very disappointed to say the least. We are established professionals and have never been treated in such an absurd manner. One guy was hitting on a drunk teenager. Two other guy bartenders were hitting on each other.

My review is for their food. Locals food is quite exceptional. We started coming here more often solely because of their great food menu that compliments their drinks. The pork belly pizza and tacos are amazing.

Guy with the glasses is a douche. It shouldent take a regular to flag you down to serve me. He was also super cocky when I asked for a drink, nothing more irritating then a cocky bartender obviously normal customers arnt gonna known every beer you have. On the good side the bartender with the beard was really nice and the atmosphere was awesome.

The place is nice, but it would be better if they had tap. The specials are a good deal.

Food is good and beer is cold but the prices tend to be higher than across the street. Pretty cool all Texas theme.

Best bar in Lubbock, Texas. Come early and have the place to yourself or come late and join the entire city for a good time.

Service is horrible. Went last night (Saturday nightwaiting in line, it was full occupancy so its "One-in, one out". Arrive to the front of line, 4 people leave. And then 8 people genuinely cut the entire line and walked right in, not checked for IDs, nothing. When I asked the bouncer at the door what the situation was, he responds "Its about who you know here". Yet, they were still at "full capacity " I need to know why this is acceptable and professional to Locals standards. If this is actually the case, I will not be returning or recommending others to come here if I dont get an answer of some type for this. This is not a nightclub in Vegas, this is a sports bar in Lubbock, TX.

I havent ate anything else here other then the pizza. We get it on Fridays when its on sale. A special combination we get is pork belly and chorizo. It is quite a special treat. With pork belly as a topping it comes with bbq sauce drizzled on it. Their ranch is quite delicious also.

One of my favorite bars in Lubbock! Clean, laidback, & great selection of drinks! Spent New Years here & had a blast! The Local Rita was my favorite!!

Got some food and drinks here which was decent until i had to go visit the restroom within 15 minutes of my visit. The restrooms are single occupant so i hope you can hold it in while you wait an eternity just to even use one. The bouncers are extremely aggressive and the bartenders at peak times will make you sober up before you can even get a second drink. Just about the only positive at this bar is the live music.

One of my favorite bars in Lubbock. Clean, well-lit, good beer selection, and good bar tenders. Live music on the weekends. It does get full of college kids on the weekends.

This place is amazing for drinks and food. The Pulled Pork is amazing and they have a variety of drinks. This is local to Lubbock so come hang out, they also have alot of variety for sports on the TV.

Kicked me out after I just purchased a drink (4.50for watching tv, wouldnt let me back in. Do not recommend this bar, Crickets is a better way better bar, personality.

The BBQ pulled pork pizza is the best you will find anywhere!!! My family and I showed up on a Saturday 10 minutes before they. The bartender/server was very gracious and accomodating to the fact we were in a hurry to make a soccer game and opened up early just for us. Outstanding local establishment.

Thieves! Ill never come here again. The bartender lost my card. When I checked my balance the same night after they told me it was lost, I was charged $240.00 USD. I had to report it stolen. I made a police report as well. This shouldnt have happened.

The Local offers excellent drink specials in a very rustic and laid back atmosphere. The food also goes beyond your standard bar fare and makes hanging out at The Local a pleasure. The staff have always been friendly and helpful even when theyre extremely busy.

Had a good time here. It gets busy, but Will and the other bartenders do a great job of keeping the drinks flowing. Live music on Saturday nights.
