Livingstone Reptile Park - Tourist attraction in Zambezi, Zambia
Definitely worth a visit to see some HUGE crocodiles and we received an excellent guide.
A great place to see Snakes and Crocodiles.
It was nice to see this place after 13years
Fascinating to see crocs. A little dispointed at the number of snakes
I really enjoyed my tour, got so educated on the different types of snakes, the crocodile and much more. Our tour guide had so much knowledge
The tour felt rushed. Overall, the experience was good. Due to COVID-19 and low number of tourists, they couldnt maintain some snakes. Meaning only three snakes are are available for viewing.
Loved them Crocs, massive and they got an appetite.
Beautiful experience
My family loved it, The guide was great explaining the different snakes and crocs on display.
See you later alligator. Not for a while crocodile.
One can organise and watch crocodile feeding. A variety of poisonous and non-poisonous snakes are shown and explained by the guide who takes one around. One can even hold baby Crocs in hand take pictures
So, as a part of the honeymoon I shared with my beautiful wife.We visited the Livingstone Crocodile Farm. We even got to be there for feeding time! There were turtles and snakes, but they werent the big draw. Even though we did spend some time getting to know them. But the big draw was the crocodiles, there were even tiny baby ones, making it very hard for me to imagine how they grow into giant reptiles, unchanged for 70-million years.I would also like to register my amazement that they called one of their crocodiles Godzilla.
It was an amazing experience where I was able to see the Lions and Cheaters
Good experience.
I love nature and I got to my extremes like touching a live snake🙈 I loved the whole first hand experience they give
The guide was informative and gave us a good show around. A small place place, but a great experience
The management should work on safety of the viewers. The viewers are exposed to attacks by the crocodiles.
If you love nature then thats the place for you....the experience was thrilling
Wonderful place with very huge crocodiles, snakes, and lots of fun
Seeing the crocs up close was so so scary . The turtle was so cute
They are different in real life. Extremely large and very aggressive. I even had a chance to hold a baby croc.
You learn and have a wonderful experience
The tour guides are very professional. They give a great overview of the things you need to know. A plus is that they have snake as well. You get to see and learn about learn about them. And if you have no phobia, you might get to touch the harmless ones. The Crocs, a marvel if you have never seen Crocs up close. Also, they have turtles and chameleons. Id recommend adding the crocodile park visit to the activities to the top 10 things to do in Livingstone.
A park where crocodiles and snakes are kept. If you travel to Livingston and have a wealth of about an hour, and you havent seen crocodiles or snakes, you can come here to have a look.
The place needs serious refurbishment as it looks abandonned. The snakes are in very small, dry and gloomy vivariums. The guide was nice and showed us the big old crocs. He even tried to wake them up by jumping off the barrier and going down to tease those big guys…Better to spot those guys from a distance in the wild than see that sad captivity from so close. Avoid it!
I liked the experience of seeing crocs and snakes at such short range. Nice place!
OMG! Ive been to a reptile park but not like this one. The proximity, the intensity, the ferocity of the crocs and the attention to detail from the tour guide. Simply amazing!!
Really had fun, experienced the feeding of the crocodiles, saw the different types of snakes caged and had the experience of holding a baby crocodile, fragile but cute. They also have tortoise, it brought so much joy to some kids who were seeing them for the first time. Really amazing
It was great... Amazing experience... We got there when it was feeding time... Lovely ambience too.
The crocodiles are all well fed and the cages are clean. The local guide was also very knowledgeable.
This was a seriously cool experience. Lots of crocs in a small area but definitely interesting. Our guide was young, insightful and incredibly brave/fearless. Jumping into a crocodile enclosure with some seriously big guys and taunting them to put on a show.Normally that would put me off but definitely a must.
Great up close view of the crocs and snakes.
Good place for a massive crocodiles and different kind of snakes. Almost 50 to 70 crocodiles at this place. Feeding to the crocodiles is a great experience.
Nice place with lot of snake crocodile and other wild animals
Lovely place to have closer watch to crocodiles
Its an amazing place and I had so much fun
I loved how natural the aesthetics and feel of the park were. We got quite a real experience there as we got quite close to the crocodiles in their habitat. The guide was great too, very informed, friendly, and gave us an awesome tour. It was also quite affordable to visit, with not much of a difference between local, resident and tourist fees.
There are big crocs and the guide was knowledgeable.
A fantastic experience! Superb activity for the whole family to enjoy and learn about these incredible creatures! Definitely worth a visit when in Livingstone. Beautiful gardens to enjoy too!
Nice place to visit. Just a bit expensive ticket for Zambian. A guide was not interested about our group.
Fun especially for little children. Place is a little beaten down though, could do with some work.
Found the guide very alarmist and not very educational. He told us about how long it would take for each snake to kill us. No mention of the importance of reptiles in the eco system. Cages are small and dingy and could do with an upgrade. Found it quite disappointing.
Pictures are worth a thousand words all i can say is its great and an amazing experience..the whole family can enjoy it.
Great place to see crocodiles and up close but the customer service leaves much to be desired.
This place has a lot of potential... it was really interesting (and terrifyingto hear about and see crocs up close and personal however, I didnt feel safe; the bridge was a little rickety and the fences flimsy. Our guide on the day was very well informed. I also thought it might be an idea to have a few of the many vendors at the falls set up at the reptile park.
The mighty zambezi river giving the breakfast view before the actual Victoria falls at its best time Onways knows better!!
A great visit with lots of crocs and snakes to see!
Crocodiles and a lot of them. Best time is to go is at feeding time to see sone action. Otherwise also its good for kids to see different type of snakes
Amazing creatures with fair enough services
Very small park but huge crocs! Quite interesting but only takes an hour or so for the whole experience.
