Who was the best dressed Man in Littlehampton, he still is quite good nowadays, but then he was a bobby dazzler? There are two brilliant exhibitions on at Littlehampton Museum in the Town Hall in Church Street and they are free to go to. With the one showing drawings, paintings of Littlehampton, I was so impressed I think Littlehampton Town Council should buy the whole lot and have them on permanent display. With the other exhibition you can find out who the best dressed man was.Opening Littlehamptons AtticSaturday 21 July - Friday 07 SeptemberAs part of the celebrations for the Museum’s 90th birthday, the Museum team will be looking through the collections and selecting 90 of the most fascinating, curious, and rarely-seen objects to tell the story of the Museum for our big summer show.Visitors can expect to see all types of objects, from local archaeological discoveries from the 1930s to a treasured scrapbook belonging to a past Curator. Come and learn more about what the museum holds and try your hand at some fun activities! We have several events planned to compliment this exhibition, including a birthday party and summer holiday workshops. So, who was the best dressed Man? Please let me know who you think it was.Scenes of Littlehampton (All Littlehampton Shop owners should go to this one)Wednesday 18 July - Friday 07 SeptemberLittlehampton artist Rad Radburn will be showcasing his colourful pen and wash drawings of well known Littlehampton places, from the shops on Surrey Street to the many public houses around the town. His art is sure to charm visitors throughout the summer period.Rads artwork will be available to purchase.
Lovely small local Museum with interesting exhibitions. The letters and cards with drawings on, done by an officer for his wife and children during the first world war. Were beautiful and heart wrenching. The exhibition of photos by Chris Kew was brave and insightful.
Beautiful place would recommend
