Little Tiberias Restaurant - Fine dining restaurant in Tiberias, Israel
Little Tiberias Restaurant in Tiberias
Description
Privilege
The home made bread. And eggplant rolls. Epic.
Nice ambiance, but the wine seemed way overpriced.
We came from jordan, Very good staff… the food was excellent, we had tried the filet Dennis fish.. it was really tasty and delicious, I never tried better quality before.. small restaurant but worth it to try and they’re caring about feedback as the chef comes and asks you how was the food , the price acceptable
MoreThe dishes came very quickly and they are delicious!
Not for locals. Very tourist oriented and VERY pricy for what they offer. We were in the area looking for somewhere to eat and it had excellent reviews but we ended up regretting it.The food is okay at best.. simply not worth the price and nothing to look forward to.Onion jam on liver pate tasted weird (price was 70+ NIS).Eggplant rolls were basically mostly tomatoes.Carpaccio was okay but some parts tasted weird but we couldnt figure out what (my guess was the cheese).Mixed sea food turned out to be a tiny dish with tiny sea food. The tiny shrimp was so overcooked it was like eating rubber. (Price was 135+ NIS).Their homemade bread was the only part that we had no complaints about.Waitress was absolutely clueless, generally inattentive and just not helpful at all (at some point she explained to us what a burger was just to have something to sayand she seemed to do the bare minimum.. we asked for extra napkins, she brought back exactly 2 napkins and took her time to come back another time. We asked for recommendations or whats popular, she didnt know what to say and then she basically started going over the menu and "explaining" each item (she basically read the menu out loud without adding anything). She didnt know what to say or do about any complains we had about the food. When I said the onion jam tasted weird, the answer I got was that its a matter of preference (even though I explained it wasnt my first time having onion jam or liver pate, and my partner also tried the jam and said it tasted wrong). We wanted a very sweet dessert and she said that the 2 we were thinking of ordering were both very sweet, and when she got us the dessert, it turned out to be very very mild. We eat a few bites, paid and left.
MoreBeen in Israel for over a week now eat in many restaurants this was far the best restaurantThe staff was friendly prices are fair I’ll was excellent would recommend 100%
MoreDelicious food and great service!
A very comfortable dining experience in Tiberias. We parked in a free lot around the corner (non-peak season). The waitress was very helpful and efficient. We shared the Mediterranean salad, which was fresh and tasty. We didn’t want a lot of food so we shared the chicken. It was just enough for us. We were traveling and can’t bring home extra food and we also don’t like to waste food. We sent back empty plates😋and left very satisfied. The decor is warm and the lighting pleasant. 👍
MoreBeautiful rustic decor. Service was friendly and quick. I had the schnitzel and fries with a gold star lager. Very satisfied.
MoreVery good food with HUGE portion sizes! Atmosphere is very quaint. Our server was wonderful too! Very reasonably priced.
MoreThe St.Peter’s Fish was disgusting, totally overpriced. I do not recommend eating here!
MoreJust had a delicious lunch, beef just the way I asked - medium rare, juicy, soft, great! The lunch came very soon, service nice and attentive. Parking easy to find.Recommend 👌🏼
MoreGood food. Friendly local atmosphere
Very very very good restaurant.Came with family and friendsThe menu is versatile and everyone where very happy with their coiseThe food was outstanding and deliciousAtmosphere was greatAns so was the serviceWill come again !!!
MoreWe showed up one evening of the Sukkot holiday and stayed here because they were open. The food was delicious. The bread was great and the sauce on the fish made the dish.
MoreSecond visit here, I thing short of consistency 8 years later. Great service, food was delicious and the experience just fantastic. Highly recommend. Everything is good. Try the lamb! I will be back.
MoreProbably one of the most expensive restaurant in Tiberias .Good food overall and lovely staff , but to pay 20£ ( 80 shekelsfor a Pasta and 10£ for a salad seems quite surreal !! .Overall Tiberia is really expensive- not too sure why ?!? As the rest of Israel is fairly priced .The lack of option in good restaurants in Tiberia makes it very expensive. But overall Little Tiberia has a better menu and seems fresh compared to other restaurant in Tiberia
MoreWent in on a Friday night at about 8 pm. Open tables everywhere but since we had not called ahead we were courteous and sat the bar. We first were told we can not order food from the bar seating. Then told sorry we can’t serve you at all as you don’t have a reservation. Guess they didn’t want our money! Shocking!!!!!!!
MoreStay away. All good reviews are fake. Food -terrible, service - terrible, prices - terrible.
More5-10 mins after ordering, we received the bill. The water came after 30 minutes with no apology for delay or handing us a bill with no food in sight.Food arrives 1hour and 15minutes after ordering. Beef stroganoff was bland unless you happened to chew on a peppercorn. Potato was not fully cooked. The half carrot was raw as was the half Courgette.Points for making a decent eggplant roll, but everything else was bland, undercooked, raw and inedible.Stay away. Most positive reviews must be fake. This is not a gourmet restaurant and the bill we received was outrageous. The service was also terrible with an apology only given once we stood up and approached the restaurant bar to complain.Buy snacks and eat them on the beach.
MoreThe worst service I have received EVER in Israel! We got a bill 10 min after making the order ( B4 we got any food). It took them 25 min to serve us a bottle of water and it only came after I had to walk and ask for it from the bar. 35 min later when i started asking about the food, found out they hadnt even start preparing it. And when the food finally came, after 4 other tables that ordered after us already got their food, 1 hour and 15 min in.... It arrived....1. The "roasted vegetables" were raw and flavourless. Not even a pinch of salt.2. The spagetti sauce just had a bit of colour( maybe they ran out of spices).3. The baby shrimps were chewy like a gum.4. The "parmesan" was yellow grated cheese, not even Pecorrino.I appreciate that it was Friday and not many places are open in the evening, but come on, since when is this acceptable acceptable??????
MoreReally nice place, a bit expensive, but absolutely worth it. It gives one the feeling that they are not in Tiberias but in a truly civilised European city. Food and service is outstanding.
MoreAmazing place, hidden gem in tveria!
The kitchen workers go to toilets and then touch the food with the hands. It happened twice in 1 hour. When I told the boss he laughed at me..Even though I payed for a 700 shekels table. The food itself was ok, but bot worth the crazy price.Anyway - disgusting
MoreWe had a great lunch at Little Tiberias and recommend it when you’re in the city! The food was exceptional, the service was wonderful. The appetizers, the main course and the desserts were fantastic!
MoreWe are 3 weeks in Israel and traveled the country. This restaurant is so far the best one. You have to try the Eggplant Rolls, the homemade bread, roasted Paprika and all from the menu! Thumbs up for this culinary island in Tiberias!
MoreVery good tasty food. Got to meet the owner Raffi. He comped desert for the table.Cauliflower/ tomato salad / Chix thighs / whole fish/ pasta all were very good.
MoreReally delicious food! Amazing wine and lamp chops! Nice service, very polite waitresses❤️ thanks for the wonderful evening
MoreGourmet food: a cut or two above the typical tourist fare that is so common in Tiberias. Ample portions (despite what other reviewers may say!). Good wines. Friendly service.
MoreIt was very tasty. The steak was awesome. Very very good. Thanks
Food was spectacular. Great atmosphere, and price was good. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed, family friendly restaurant.
MoreGreat food and lovely staff, it was difficult communicating in English but they did their best. Lamb chops cooked to perfection and freshly baked bread.
MoreThis place is like a time-capsule...and reminds me the good ol days of this city. Its not about the food, its about the type of restaurants you dont get to see anymore...
MoreIt was a pleasant dinner. The chicken, dessert and wine were all good but I would have wanted a bit more for the paid price. The place is calm and cozy, far from the noisy touristic venue.
MoreA cozy restaurant just off of town center, very romantic setting. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they have a nice selection of salads, seafood and meats. The food is simple and fine and you will not leave hungry. That being said, "simple" being the operative word here - they will not win any Michelin stars and dont expect a complex palate.
MoreCosy atmosphere and fantastic food and wine. We had a nice bottle of Cab from the Golan Heights winery. The lamb chops and fish were crowd favorites. Crack pie too! Check them out.
MoreAmazing restaurant in Tiberias. We almost dreaded the thought of dining in this city but they turned to be the best meal of our trip so far. Maya gave us great service and helped us with finding a good camping experience. Food was delicious. Highly recommended and reasonable prices. Thank you!
MoreExcellent food, great service, lovely atmosphere. We visited on a Friday afternoon so the place was not full. Had a great time. The steak was perfect. Prices are a bit high, but not particularly compared to other restaurants in the region.
MoreVery expensive for the size you get.Dishes is pretty good, not wow.Service was pretty nice, considering the fact that there was only 2 waitresses for like 10 tables. Not gonna comeback to this place.
MoreDecent food but overpriced for what it is. The starters were very nice we had aubergine and garden salads. Both fresh and good well flavored. For the main we had beef fillet and a local fish. Both were fresh but lack distinctive flavor. If you feel like splashing on wine I suggest Yarden cabaret from 2015 that will set you back by additional 50 euro but it’s a good bottle of wine. The service was nice and attentive but the restaurant doesn’t deliver on the value proposition when it comes to decor, atmosphere for the price they are asking for the experience.
MoreIts a very far to go from a good restaurant, BUT... No no but poor/non professional service, dirty tables, sorry we dont have it from the menu....One star is for location...
MoreLittle Tiberias Restaurant is an excellent option to eat in Tiberias, it is so closed to the Marina and the food is real gourmet. I and my friends are surprised with this Tiberias Pearl. I really recommend it for you, your friends and your family. The place is also very nice for small groups and family and friends events. I really appreciate this restaurant.
MoreOne of three restaurants that open at Saturday and that is why the high prices... The food is great, there is smoking and not smoking zones.
MoreVery nice restaurant
Nice place in the old town of Tiberias
Amazing Mediterranean salad. Lovely ambiance. Superb service.
Really nice owner (I think), food also tasty. A bit over prized
Visiting the area from South Carolina, United States. Fantastic restaurant. Loved the wine, goat cheese appetizer, entrees, environment, service... All of it was great. Was an amazing date night with my wife!
MoreA fantastic place with a varied menu of unique dishes. Chef came out to personally tell us of the daily specials and answer questions. Great atmosphere and service, and fantastic food and wine. My favorite restaraunt during my stay in Tiberius
MoreThe best food we have had in Israel!! You can feel the heart in each dish. We went both nights we were in Tiberius. I am a big foodie and recommend the Olive oil basil garlic tomato pasta and Garden salad blew me away!!
