At this Mongolian chain eatery, diners cook meat & vegetables in broth at the table.
This was my first hot pot experience and it did not disappoint. Great spot for a delicious warm meal on a chilly day. My favorite items were probably the rolled beef and the mushrooms, but everything we ate was so tasty.
AYCE with 1/2 and 1/2 broth pictured. Servers were helpful and hard working, sauce bar (extra $was fun, plenty of sides and meats, variety of noodle options, spacious inside, make sure to check Groupon for deals. Come on your birthday (with 4+ partyfor your free individual meal
One of our favorite places to eat. Great food, great service. The servers are always on top of everything. Never had a bad experience.FENG IS THE BEST
Food was good, service sucked! Round 1 (R1of food came very fast, R2 seemed to take awhile but R3 took an eternity. For my wife and I the bill was about $90 plus tip, we had the premium hotpot which included gold grade wagyu. I wont be back because the service was terrible.
Went here for dinner with 4 other friends and the staff was super friendly! Loved the selection of meats, veggies, and sides. Left around closing time and went across the street to get a drink and Seng had waited around so we could get our car from the parking garage! Super sweet guy and he really made our night. Thank you again Seng, we appreciate you!
Very delicious, would come back anytime 🥰
Name stays true tons of great lamb options. Also enjoyed noodles and beef. In my opinion better than hai de Lao.
Lamb was good in the first round, but thats it. The curry broth was ok as long as you dont bite into the Sichuan peppercorns which will numb, and tingle your mouth and tongue, and leaves you with a nasty taste.
It Was Awesome. We All ordered Something Different except the Pho the Girls Got. Amazing Service. Great Food. Good Times
Food was fantastic and fresh, service was great. They were able to seat our large party and make sure we were taken care of. Fantastic location
We come here often on weekend lunch time because they were less busy, no wait time if we come before noon. All you can eat is very reasonable at 28.99 + additional pay for anything not covered in AYCE.Food is fresh and looks very nice in the plate.Fairly clean place.Waitress are efficient and friendly. We like fried chicken the most, and all meat balls, sliced meat, and seafood taste great too!Love this place!
Food has always been fantastic when I’ve gone. Hot Pot is crazy yummy.
Highlights:Exceptional service (best ive had in Seattle.)Meat was of incredible quality along with vegetables.Best fried rice I have ever had period.Friendly and accommodating staff that went above and beyond.Halal lamb was available for Muslim customers.Cons:Minor restrictions about food options depending on if you go with a la carte or the buffet (for eg certain veggies and meats were only available with the buffet and vice versa)We were there first customers of the day and the staff was very approachable and helpful as well as patient as we made our choices. There was a minor issue with seating halfway through our meal. The server immediately moved us to a new table and offered to replace our uncooked food with new food. The server/manager comped part of our meal without us even asking! That was the cherry on top that made a great impression on us.The price wasnt cheap but it wasnt extravagant either. If you appreciate quality meat and hotpot you will love it. Couldnt get enough of that Szechuan pepper corn numbness!
Great buffet style hot pot in Seattle. Ingredients are high quality -- would suggest coming if you are in the market for a hot pot buffet.
Very disappointed, I was told I HAD to order all you can eat. Party of three, I just didn’t want to order all you can eat since I was only going to order very little food (no raw meatand was NOT planning on sharing my food. maybe it’s a misunderstanding, but not a fan of sharing food or bills. - besides this the place seems lovely, great date idea!
This place is fabulous. The options were top notch. I ordered the prime all you can eat. It was the best hot pot restaurant I have ever been to. Reasonably priced. Excellent offerings. Whenever I come to Seattle I am coming here. Highly recommended. Our server was superb.
Excellent gastronomic option. Good service. Quality in the ingredients. Taste and quality guaranteed. I will surely come back.
The food was so good!! Came with my husband and we did the all you can eat menu. We ordered a lot, but we definitely ate it all! We did the half and half broth and both were amazing. We loved the meats and our favorite was the dumplings. The staff were very attentive and picked up empty plates as we finished them. Always asked if we needed anything and made sure we had plenty of napkins and drinks. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back!
Great food! Worth every penny.
Recommend everyone to try, hot pot. The buffet is economical and affordable, with fast serving and good service. Food is fresh👍.
Food was great. Service was fast. Walked in with no issue. Did the all you can eat which I think is the only way to go if you want to try everything, which you will.
I’m gonna be honest.I still don’t have the hang of hotpot. But that being said, everything we tried at this place was very delicious.10/10 would go again.
If youre looking for a place to try hot pot in Seattle, this is the place. Huge variety of seafood, meat, and vegetarian options (you can even request tomato broth). Dont forget to make your own sesame garlic scallion dipping sauce and try the fresh sesame balls for dessert!
A unique and wonderful experience! You must do the all you can eat menu. Highly recommend this place. Servers were friendly and they seated us quickly.
Im from miami and Im used to options for good food and unfortunately I cant say that for Seattle. Fortunately this restaurant didnt follow the example of many of the other eateries in Seattle, the broths were both flavorful and actually spicy many great options for meats which Im all about (veggies too if youre into that). Staff was very attentive and friendly, service that went above and beyond. Would love to go again.
Wow! What a fresh concept. Make sure to wait for the delicious broth to come to boil. Then cook your soup with all the exquisite ingredients! We visited right after a trip abroad and this was like a perfect cherry on top!
Great value and surprisingly nice interior. The all you can eat menu does limit your options but the food quality was good and you cant beat it for the price in the area.
We love eating here. The unlimited is priced reasonably. The lamb and all the other food are fresh. Everything is tasty. We love it.
Did AYCE with 7 on a Saturday night. Our server was Qing and she was amazing! She was a really kind person and very attentive. We never ran out of drinks, and she brought out a bib for a party member wearing white. Some of our favorites was the spicy broth with pork belly and short beef. The tempura pieces were interesting, and soaked up a lot of broth. We enjoyed it. Napa cabbage and fresh egg noodles were a favorite of ours too.The orange juice and watermelon juice are freshly blended to order. We loved both of them.It was the first hotpot for some people in my party, and Happy Lamb and Qing left a great impression of hotpot for them.
The food was amazing!! I could feel the freshness in everything they served !! The half and half broth was extraordinary. Don’t forget 2$ unlimited salad, sauces and dessert! It’s a must add on. The staff are super friendly and all the food were on time and taste super yummy 🤤
I think this place is a very solid pick for all-you-can-eat hotpot. Weve been to various other places in Seattle, and this always satisfies.Though the price is on the higher side, we think its worth its value considering the other options do not do it for us for a similar price.I believe they have a parking lot, but Ive never parked myself as I always try to avoid driving to International District if I can.Would definitely recommend checking out any of their locations.
Amazing. I always leave this place satisfied and extremely full. Happy lamb will never fail to be one of the best, most consistent, and worth you value hot pot places. Great dish selection and good sauce bar.
Pretty decent hot pot but a bit pricy at $35 per person. They ran out of some seafood even though we arrived at the beginning of dinner time on a Monday night.
Love Happy Lamb! A bit quieter with more room to spread out than at Chengdu Memory. High quality ingredients, and friendly staff. Cooked skewers reliably show up as soon as youre done eating 🤷♂️, but theyre excellent.
Gave us free AYCE for a friends birthday, along with complimentary lamb chops (so good!!). Its an hour plus wait on a weekend, but its definitely worth it, especially the shrimp paste!
With a stunning night time view of the city, this restaurant is a MUST TRY! Flavorful, delicious hot pot with some of the best cuts of meat I’ve seen. The staff is welcoming and helpful, the service was exceptional. We had an amazing time while dinning.
Awesome experience!!!!!! It was my husband and I first time having hot pot. We had an amazing waiter, Jason, was super helpful in explaining how everything worked and gave us great recommendations. The whole staff was super nice and friendly. The food was delicious. Would totally recommend the experience.
We did the all you can eat, and man was it a feast. Food was great and fresh! It was my first time ever doing hot pot and loved every moment. We did a split broth and their garlic beef is excellent. Highly recommend their house chili oil, it’s fantastic on everything.
This might become my go to hotpot place! We decided to not get AYCE and ordered each dish separately, but the portion sizes were BIG. We couldnt finish 5 meat plates with 4 people (3 girls 1 guy). Great meat quality, you could see some nice marbling on the meat. Definitely get the salad/sauce bar. Service was great, no complaints.
Best hot pot I’ve had in Seattle so far! They had options for a la carte and unlimited which was great, because a lot of places stopped doing unlimited. The broth was amazing and the meat was all good. They were very very slow with the vegetables and noodles, which is the only thing preventing me from 5 star but might have been short staffed (although didn’t look like it). Will deff be back
Service was very slow. Empty plates and empty water pitcher stacked up for at least 20 minutes (from when I started to keep track of time), with our food order not arriving either. Servers looked our direction but never checked up on us, even after going up to them physically at the POS table. We eventually had to leave due to the parking running out of time, but even getting the check took some chasing down.
Love this place! My friends and I came here for dinner, and we ate till we literally cannot anymore… I think the AYCE is pretty worth. Meat quality is pretty good, and lots of options to choose from. For a friday night, we didn’t wait for too long for the order to come
A pretty good experience for a pretty good rate. This was the same spot known as Little Sheep earlier. The staff was super friendly, the food was super quick and delicious. Would definitely recommend the best of both worlds broth. We ended our meals with some amazing mochi ice cream 10/10 will recommend for all meat lovers!
This place is seriously so good. You can get al a carte or all you can eat ($28 for lunch and $30 for dinner per persontotally worth it. The quality of meat is amazing. They have a $1.99 add on for the salad and dessert bar too. There’s different pickled salads, fruits, coconut sago, and cookies. Come very hungry as the portions are big! They have a variety of sauces, meats, veggies, and so much more. I guarantee you will leave with a happy and full belly.
We really enjoyed this hot pot restaurant. The interior was nice, updated, and clean and the sauce bar was cool. I made a couple sauces I really liked and downed so many cucumbers that the $2 charge was definitely worth it. The quality and selection of meats was great, our personal favorite was the garlic marinated beef and our favorite broth was the spicy house broth. The bill came out to be $75 pre-tip for 2 of us with no drinks and it is all you can eat. We tried to go hungry and get our money’s worth lol, and I believe we did. The only complaint was that the service got slow towards the end and we had to wave someone down after 30 minutes of waiting for the check, but they also were getting busier at this point so it is what it is.
I’m very happy that the Happy Lamb Hot Pot reopened at Chinatown. They definitely remodeled the inside and it looks much more cleaner and modern now. If you haven’t been here then I highly recommend that all you can eat option. They have a large selection of foods which even include chicken wings, fried rice, fried buns, vegetables, seafood, and meats. Great service and a great spot for hot pot!
We were super upset when little sheep closed :/ It was our favorite hot pot place. Luckily, Happy Lamb replaced it, and Im a happy man to tell you that it is excellent and perhaps even better than little sheep! There is a sauce bar with good selection, which we really liked. Everything was really good.
Drove past this spot and noticed the sign changed. I used to come here for years before covid. Decided to check it out for a birthday dinner. Still amazing Lay-out with some new renovations.Service was exceptional and attentive. They still do the all you can eat and added a sauce bar. I wish I would have taken better pictures, but the meat was great. Seafood was delicious. The menu felt slightly more organized and easier to read.Very happy to see this spot has opened back up after the wild last few years. It looks like the first floor is still part of it which will be necessary when people find out it is open again.
This is recommended! They welcome you even though you go alone. They have a mini pot for a single customer. I love this! The soups are tasty. The ingredients are fresh. The staff are friendly and caring. The price is reasonable too.
The food was tasty, but they were slow bringing out the meat. 3/4 way through the meal, a cockroach crawled onto the table.
