There was no choice of dishes, only rice with chicken, the food is very simple, for the money you can relax in a good restaurant with more delicious foodIn addition, they brazenly demanded a tip, I did not pay, its just outrageous, a terrible place

After some searching we decided to go here since our accommodation didnt have a restaurant. That was a very good choice. Its a homey setting where you can just eat rice and curry. However, its a lot of different things, like cashew and prawns, dahl, eggplants, and even baby jackfruit (=vegan beef). Its a bit spicy for us but we like that. Definitely take the curd with coconut honey for desert if you can. Beers were ice cold, owner is very friendly, really nothing to complain.

Great to find a nice rice and curry that is not overly spicy. They have a tourist niche tapped, expect to pay accordingly (1025/- Veg r&c with water). Dont expect to find other items than the prix fix like tea, coffee or hot water after, nor particularly friendly service should you ask. Quiet, homey, guesthouse setting. Worth it perhaps for traditional rice & curry for the tourist palate.

Tasty food for a good price, pretty garden setting

Little paradise is a gem of a restaurant.There was no menu when we came here for lunch, just a verbal offer of rice and curry. But goodness, was it delicious! A very generous spread of nine dishes with a big bowl of rice for 2 persons, plus a 1litre of bottled water, cost Rs 1600, which was really value for money. The local dishes were quickly prepared and they presented a multitude of flavours, from sweet and sour to spicy and gentle. The seating environment was clean and airy, and the garden was charming with a swing too.Definitely recommended!

On a mangé là un soir, on a adoré, la cuisine est vraiment très bonne, le cadre mignon, ambiance détendue. On est arrivé un peu avant 20h et on était les derniers donc ne pas trop tarder pour y aller mais je recommande, on sest régalé !!

Very nice and lovely place. No Menu, but a very good and various Curry. Friendly stuff... per Person 950 LKR ... really worth it :-)

Kleines, verstecktes Restaurant bewirtet von sehr lieben Leuten. Es gab keine Karte, sondern die Auswahl zwischen vegetarischem, Fisch-, oder Fleischcurry.Das Essen war super. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort essen gehen.

TripAdvisor #1 but not because of their thoughtfulness. Went there alone today, the owner asked me how many for dinner and afterwards said the kitchen closes at 8pm (althought it was 7:40pm...).

Wonderful place to enjoy local cusine. You can get here only one dish (900/= per person). Rice and curry is very good, many different things to taste. After the dinner you get a dessert. Worth visiting.
