No-frills restaurant serving Chinese selections for dine-in, takeout or delivery.
Clean and the food is made quickly and freshly. Their sesame chicken is delicious.
This is the best Chinese take-out we have had in Lubbock. We had orange chicken, general tsaos chicken, and cashew chicken. All of them were very good. The eggrolls were delicious as well as the cream cheese wontons. We will definitely be going back.
My son love there beef and broccoli and rice
I’ve always loved this place since I was a freshman at Tech in 2011. Sweet and sour chicken is my all time fave. Delicious egg rolls too.
Must try! I called in my order, and told the lady on the phone I was so sick if she could bring it to my vehicle and she did! 💕She went out of her way, for me. 🙏🏻 A new customer. I was impressed with the packaging of the food. The soup was DELICIOUS and I’m very picky! The shrimp was plump and juicy the broccoli was perfectly cooked and at a great price! Try it! I will be going back! The food was the best I’ve tried here in Lubbock and I’ve tried 5 different places! Very friendly and courteous! I also tipped her, she deserved it, Bless the lady who took my order!
The clerk was nice, and service was fast. Bathrooms needed a lot of elbow grease. The food was not really good. 😕 No ice. Sorry. Just not good.
Always cooked fresh and service is on point, as well as the food!
Terrible service. They are very rude. I needed to go silverware and a bowl or cup for the egg drop soup. I was taking the food to the hospital due to my sister being in there. They refused to give me either of those things i needed. The combo fried rice was very chewy and not fresh. The lemon chicken was overdone and almost burned. Very crunchy. Egg drop soup was maybe the best if the whole meal. Probably will not try this place again.
Great food, big portions and quick service. The best local Chinese spot in Lubbock, for my money.
I always come here and never had an issue until today. I had my husband go pick up an order I made and it was a whole lot more then what I ordered instead of the kids sizes I ordered they gave me family sizes of everything and my total came out to $70 I specified what I wanted and they still got it wrong, when I called to tell them about it they were really rude and said they don’t do refunds. Theyre English is really hard to understand sometimes so if you order on the phone from them make sure to ask repeatedly to make sure they have it right.
These people definitely deserve a lot of praise, best quality and quantity of Chinese food to cost ratio within a 5 mile radius, maybe more (looking at you panda express)."Support your local businesses"
The food was pretty good. And plenty
Love the food always big portions and a fair price
First time eating here and I really liked it. I had the beef n broccoli lunch special and it was good. The egg rolls were delicious too!
I live in Dallas and there is nothing as good as Little Panda here.I miss it, truly. Will always stop here when in Lubbock.
Best spicy curry in lubbock, its actaully spicy, not deadly spicy but perfect.
Will not return. They give you no glass of water with your dinner. I was so thirsty the whole time. They will gladly charge you for soda though. They also do not accept all major credit cards (Amex).
So authentic that thier kid was playing one of those Chinese-sting insturments in the back! Portions of meat and rice are large, menu goes up to 100-200 items, and is a Lubbock classic!
I got the egg drop soup. It was so delicious! It also came in a larger portion than I expected!
Worst experience ever, I called in an order for pick up get told it would be 10 minutes, I go to pick up my food and told there is no order for me. I ask for a $3 discount from the upcharge on my lo mien get told no by the owner, who was so rude to me and was like "so you want to order now or not"....I have proof on my phone of the time I called in, dont recommend this place to anyone, their customer service sucks!!!!!
Really good food, Some of the best chicken fried rice and lemon chicken I have had. Delivered fast and hot
Im the type to always give second chances but this, this was just absolutely horrible. (Except the egg rolls😂 orange chicken was so over fried my metal fork wouldnt even push into a peice! The kids teriyaki chicken is 2 peices of dry chicken on a stick for 5$ no sides🤷♂️ over all terrible experience. Way better places in lubbock !
Driving through on a road trip and we stopped here for take out. I ordered mushu chicken which was juicy and generous with the vegetables, and our order of egg drop soup was great. Lunch specials were well priced at 7.95 if youre there during that time!
The food tasted decent but portion vs. price not so good it was $9.75 each meal. Frankly your better off going to Panda Express for a combo meal.
The food lacked taste and my general tso tasted like the egg batter. My chicken fried rice was bland and the chicken was close to being raw. The egg rolls were good but thats it as far as delectables.
Ordered chicken fried rice and not sure what the "chicken" was other than it was NOT chicken and horrible. Possibly rubber and stale bread mixed and baked. Second order of house fried rice had spoiled ham and same rubber strips for meat. We opted for water and left our meals uneaten. Do NOT RECOMMEND.
We placed three orders of beef lo mein to go. We picked up the order and it was beef fried rice, so when my wife told them what we ordered, they basically told us they repeated the order and we were wrong... No apology and no offer to make it right. They really need to work on their customer service and quit being so rude to their customers.
Great place to order carryout or delivery. Food tastes amazing and generous portions for the menu price. They were even open Christmas day.
Foods good. Really well done and service is decent. Only complaint is its a bit expensive, so if your a college student, its a special occasion or treat.
I wouldnt consider this place remarkable, but the food is decent. I thought that the food was priced a little high however for the amount which you receive. It is right next-door to Tech campus, however.
Best place in town to get sweet and sour chicken. The staff is always so friendly. I absolutely love coming into this place. Their prices are cheap for the quality of service you get.
Seems like its family run. Very good food and very friendly staff and reasonable prices. They always pack our to go food with care and add everything needed. Love this place and would recommend it to any who loves Chinese food!
Wrong type of soup, wrong egg rolls, rice was all stuck together. I feel like they just give me whatever they have left and ignore my actual order. Tried them twice and had wrong order both times. Im done trying.
Most Chinese that a food can be. The lunch special is good and never ceased to amaze me. Worth the price. Slightly underpriced in my opinion. If you know what to order, of course.
Nice quick Chinese food close to the University. For the most part, the meats are cooked then covered in sauce. This style is not my favorite. The decor is very minimalistic which I find to be quite appropriate. Prices are fair and portions are pretty big. The lunch specials are my favorite as you get a meal for less than $8 at the time of writing this (October, 2017).My main gripe (and this is a gripe about most Chinese food places and does not affect the score of this review), there is no easy way to get an entree with noodles instead of rice. A simple "substitute noodles for rice for $_.__ would suffice".
I have only gone in the one time but I absolutely loved it. The food was awesome as well as the quick wait time for it. I even started eating fairly soon after getting it & it was super hot. Im glad to know it was really made fresh!!! Will definitely be stopping by again. Its a lot of food for such a low price!!
I ordered a spicy house special lo-mein earlier today, and it was terrible. There was so much oil in the lo-mein that I thought I was going to have a cardiac arrest. After a couple of bites, I stopped eating and ate a snack. In addition most lo-mein dishes have had contained bean sprouts, snow peas and different vegetables. The lo-mein dish they cooked was mainly big chunks of celery, onions, and carrots, and a lot of oil. I hope they read this review and can improve the quality of the food especially since they are located across the street from Tech. I gave 2 stars for the generous quantity, but acid reflux from excessive oil after eating two bites was a deal breaker. I will not return there!
Dinning area was clean. Friendly people. Food was nice, hot and fresh. She let us bring in our cokes that we had bought from taco villa happy hour.
Honestly one of the best Chinese food places in Lubbock. This is your average Chinese food restaurant with all the usual food, youd expect. It is done quickly, well priced and a friendly staff. Right next to tech makes it a great spot to eat between classes if the food on campus is becoming dull.
I am from out of town. I didnt want to leave the hotel so i found this restraunt and they delievered, awsome! They charge 5 bucks for delivery which is fine, I understand why.Order broccoli and beef, fried rice, order of cream cheese fried wontons. Broccoli taste like it was defrosted and microwave, beef taste like dog food. Fried rice has no flavor. The only thing that I ate was the wontons and the free egg roll. The egg roll and wontons are the only reason why they got 2 stars instead of one.
Small restaurant, people who work there dont really communicate with you or theres a language barrier. Need to have a menu that states that drinks are not included, and if you opt in for one, all you get is one can of soda. Good food, just nothing else is great.
The place was packed so I expected some really good food to justify the demand. Super nice people behind the counter... Got my order quickly. The sweet and sour chicken was all breading and neon glaze-sauce. The fried rice was dried out steamed rice with soy sauce. The vegetables were all way underdone. I ate as much as I thought would ride me over, but certainly didnt finish my meal.
Nice, casual restaurant. This is a great place for lunch, and it is very convenient to TTU. It does tend to get busy at lunch (they have great lunch specials M-F), so come as early as you can. My favorites are Spicy Beef Orange Chicken, but everything Ive tried has been good.
Me and my husband love this place we eat here at lease 4 times a month the food is always hot and fresh and they hook the plates up they r not scandalless on there food great place to eat at!!!!😊❤️
If you are concerned with the environment, then you dont want to go to this restaurant. Everything they use is not environmentally friendly, I guess the reason is they dont need to hire people to wash dishes. The food is ok, not authentic but still good enough. I would not go there for serious dining out and would not be on my top list, but I would go if I need some inexpensive and quick meal.
Great little Chinese restaurant. Became a staple to go to at Tech. We would order take out a lot, and you never get anything cold. Good prices, and if you order during lunch there are discounts. The size of the meals is worth the price, if your a student trust me you will love it.
I eat here often, both dine-in and delivery. I like the veg fried rice, General Tsos Chicken, hunan chicken and the orange chicken. I did not like the shrimp lo mein (no flavor, just noodles and shrimpor the chicken moo shu (wayyyy too salty). The delivery drivers are always super sweet, but the guy that works the register for dine-in is always very mean to every one.
Worst Chinese i ever had. The wonton tasted like they were broiled with dish water and the general tso chicken was very tough. The soup was good (Hot and Spicy), but I really recommend you do not order the pork wontons. Also do not order devilry from here, it is very slow, i got my food about an hour after I had ordered it even though I was less than 10 min away from the restaurant. Also my eggrolls were bland tasting, maybe it was because they were cold, but they felt very much lacking in taste. Also the fried rice is very plain and having no eggs, peas, or anything else in it to get it flavor. I do not recommend ordering from here, but just know if you do the food will be very disappointing, just like an asian buffet. Overall: Food was filling, but was very bland.
Everytime I go in here there are little kids running around in the kitchen. Im sure thats a health code or child labor violation first off. The atmosphere is very awkward. Theres no music and its noisy with clanging pots and kids screaming in Mandarin. Prices are a little high except for lunch. $5.99 you get 2 entrees, side of brown rice, egg roll, and drink. For $1 more you can get another entree. The food is actually good, you get fair portions, and its very healthy. I didnt taste any MSG and brown rice is much better than white. I would recommend eating here for lunch only.
We order from this place often because its close by. Ive never had a bad experience. The food portions are generous.
