Huge soft play with friendly staff

Food wasnt cooked very well panini and toastie not toasted at all, sausage sandwich was cold, staff seemed more interested in talking than serving as had to stand for 10 mins just to but a packet of biscuits for my daughter, when I asked the lady her served me previous if she could charge me I got told she was on clearing tables now and couldnt theres better places to take the kids unfortunately it was really good a couple of years ago definitely gone downhill

This is a review of the food, which is served in the cafe there, whilst your children play, out you need a quick meal.Prices are very reasonable, with a selection of joy and cold food. We ordered sandwiches, toasties and chips (including a very cheesycheesy chips.All great with no problems. On site toilets were clean. The noise of soft play did not transfer to the dining area, although there are also seats with line of sight for the kids too.

Not great experience today. empty plates on tables. Only one poor girl behind the counter and some very rude parents shouted at her because she wasent serving quick enough poor girl started crying. Food came wrong for our kids and then they had to wait even longer and they got restless. Drove from chesterfield and felt quite deflated.

I am sure this is normally very nice but it was total chaos with way far too many people - parents were lying to get in saying they had tables when they didn’t. As expected, everything suffers when massively over capacity. Don’t go on a rainy day!

Looks great for older kids however, very expensive for children under 3 as the play area was very small and few play fasciitis available! Not worth the money.

Its difficult to find clean and spacious soft plays but we found one here! The best weve visited with our 2 year old and 3 month old. He had a great time! Its is located in beautiful surroundings and feels very safe - I felt happy letting my boy play whilst I tended to my baby girl. It also wasnt too busy, we visited on a Friday. Its reasonably priced and staff are friendly. Wed definitely be going back :)

Held our grandsons 6th birthday party here. Enjoyed by all.

My grandson and 20 of his friends had a birthday party at Little Monkeys and they had a great time.

Really nice play area and do good coffee (do dairy free milk)

Wonderful update. Met up with friends and family. We all loved it. Seating needed though for grown ups.

Lovely place kids love it staff was a bit over run as tables werent cleaned after other people had gone but over all its a great place to take the kids we will be going back and the staff are friendly

The facility itself is amazing my child loved it, just a shame that the staff where rubbish.The staff where rude on arrival and was on go slow the whole time could tell they didnt want to be there. As a parent I was very disappointed.

Great place, with excellent facilities and friendly, caring staff. The only constructive feedback I would provide is to have better policing for small child area. Appreciate you cannot check each child’s age individually, however this afternoon it was full of children aged up to 10, trampling over little ones. Of course shame on parents for letting this go unmonitored.We’ll be back for sure

My 9-year-old wanted to come so we turned up and it looked pretty nice inside. The staff first asked us how old he was. Of course we said 9. They said we can’t accept children over the age of eight. I had a right go at them.

Great place, although already a fair sized area it could quite easily be twice the size. Food is good and reasonably priced

Good sized play area, my daughter loved it. Food and drink prices are extortionate and signage to find the place are woefully inadequate.

Discussed!!!! Following a good visit and a very good review posted by myself I visited again to be told that the centre was full, thats fine we sat and waited, another family arrived saw the sign and was discussing what to do when the staff member called them forward to say that they had 3 tables available they took them all and the sign was repositioned not a word said to us. Never going back!!!

Good play area, and an okay place to get lunch, the food is okay but not great, some stuff is over cooked or to oily and sometimes theres quite a long wait, but the prices are reasonable. Its overall a good place and my son enjoys his self

Had my daughters birthday party there. Staff were friendly, hot food was good and plentiful. Well maintained equipment and the 5-6pm slot was quiet. Would highly recommend.

Kids love it, but take your earplugs as its very loud!!!Fun indoor play centre with lots for kids to do. Nice cakes, coffees and food available to buy.Clean, tidy and fun for the kids.

This is a great indoor play area for babies to around 10 year olds. They base the play on height. £3.50 per child (if you are staying in the cabinsfor two hours of play. If you stay longer they can charge an additional £2.50. You need to bring socks to play. Theres a cafe and snacks which were reasonable and tasty and toilets with easy access. This is a great rainy-day activity!

Great place to take your young ones. It has a good sized play area suitable for kids aged 1 up to year 6 at school. There is plenty of seating a few comfortable settees. We paid£9 for 2children. The food is good and well presented for 3adults and 2 children lunch was less than £30. Highly recommended.

Great soft play for kids by the peak district, serving delicious food and a wide range of tea. There is an under 3s section and a bigger area for older kids. My son loves their slushy ! At busy times, the wait can be quite long for food.

Really nice place in a really nice location with really nice food. Why the loss of a star, over staffed, and yet still had to clear our own table after food. 7 staff just stood chatting at one point.

Great play centre for kids, separate area for babies & toddlers with ball pool & things to do, the other part of the play centre is really big with slides, football , climbing , ball pool , with different part to climb & crawl through , lots of seats for adults , the coffee & lattes are nice & reasonably priced, also does cake, snacks & meals, this is also a suitable venue for kids birthday parties,

What a fantastic place to take the kids for a day out and if you live further away you can always come and stay in one of the wonderful lodges. I didnt know this place was here and have been very impressed with what I have seen today. There was a birthday party happening for the little people and it was just great. I highly recommend it for a visit.

My 2 year old loves this play centre, its small so she can get round well on her own, but lots to do! Set in lovely surroundings and great staff!

Went to a childrens party here. Great fun for the kids and you can grab something to eat while they play. Set in beautiful surroundings.

We have visited Little Monkeys soft play area twice during our visit.Our 4 year old granddaughter absolutely loved it. Our daughter said it is one of the best she has visited. Prices of food and drink are very reasonable too.

A large soft play with toddler area and good food. For older kids theres a small football area and large soft play area. You can spent an easy couple of hours here.

Lovely play center. Has a cafe with nice food at reasonable prices. We also enjoyed the playground outside after we left the play center.

Great for kids.. however the constant drone of a air pump in the kids play penn drove us insane.. we had a big big headache from it and left early.. (not from the screaming kids tho).. if that pumps on we certainly will not be back!

Not bad. 2 hour limit otherwise they have the right to charge more. Not a massive place and could become crowded if there was a birthday party on. Most kids drinks are around £1, or £1.50 for a jug of squash. Didnt try the food and had no jacket potatoes from opening on the day. Breakfast, toast and sandwiches available.

Kids love it here. One of the better soft play centres. Only down side is its difficult to keep track of adventurous toddlers who want to go in the main play area as its so large.

Really great soft play for the kids. Daughter bashed her lip quite badly (her own fault!and excellent first aid was given! Good food, decent price!

Enjoyed a bowl of mushroom soup with bread roll and a pot of peppermint tea. Care area lovely and cool after being out in the warm weather. Everywhere nice and clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Good value for money. Will call again.

Nice open area inside...good sized soft play and seperate areas for toddlers and baby area upstairs too. Food reasonably priced and facilities clean and modern. Great find on door step.

Really good value for money. Friendly service and a good sized soft play. Kids love it which is important too. You do only get 2 hours but you do in most places and 2 hours in soft play is enough for anyone.

Little Monkeys was a bit of a disappointment. For a start we were limited to two hours, which seemed a bit short particularly if you want to eat something while you are there. However two hours was plenty as the children (6, 4 & 2asked to go home after 50 minutes as they were bored. We encouraged them to stay longer, which they did.Compared to other such places, Little Monkeys is a bit small and lacks variation. During our weeks stay on the park, we visited Little Monkeys twice, but both times the children although initially enthusiastic, were soon bored. When we visit our local version of little Monkeys they play happily for at least two hours.

Clean and well equipped ,comfortable seating area inside and outToilets clean and tidy, with changing facilitiesThe Menu is hot and cold sandwiches etc, my meal was lovely, presented well, decent portion size and served within approx 15 min of ordering.

Very, very good play area with good range of unusual stuff for the kids to play with (especially the big air blowing ball collection thing which my kids (1 and 4absolutely love). Ive given four stars only because although its expensive the food isnt as good as that at other local places and I always seem to get dirty crockery and cutlery when we go.

Excellent play and a variety of things to do. Me and my little brother played for hours and when it was time to go,we moaned like mad. I certainly liked going down the huge slides and playing footie In the football area!Friendly staff but maybe a little overpriced food,and a long wait to get in. But above all,Im highly impressed with the play facilities and assistance!

Really good play centre let down by its other services.First of all Id like to say that the play area itself is great, cant find a fault with it.Then theres the other services. We ordered tea, cups were covered in stains, I say stains, rubbing your hands on them actually began removing them, asked the server for replacements, she had a look through the cups and brought another 2 back saying these are the best we have, the replacements still had stains on the inside and outside.My niece waited patiently to buy a packet of crisps only to be ignored by the cashier in favour of an adult behind. It was only when one kind adult said I think this girl is waiting that she got served. No doubt if my niece had taken the crisps she would have been spotted immediatelyThen there was the food we ordered, the bacon was overcooked, I like crispy bacon but it could have quite possibly smashed the window I was sat near with it. Sausages tasted of bland mush, I know its a place for kids, but Im sure even they would like to taste something.Please sort these things out, would be a great venue if so.

Easily the best play centre I have ever taken my 2 children to. Fantastic and friendly staff, very clean, good value, really well looked after and amazing cakes! Looking forward to going again. Highly recommended!
