Little Italy Restaurant in Killeen

Drinks was watered down and had them switched out for another which was still watered down. Rolls was hard but appetizer tasted good. Main course was chicken, veal, shrimp, and noodles special which tasted stale and nasty like its been sitting there all day. Best way to describe the food would be slimy. We didnt eat more than a bite or two then sent food back. Told waitress food tasted bad and we wasnt gonna eat it. She never even asked if we wanted to try something else she just blamed it on the new cook and walked off. We then asked for the check and was shocked to see we was still charged for the nasty slimy food we sent back! Went in for a nice date and left hungry and mad. I would not recommend this place and we would not go back!

The super amazing Tiramisu is my all-time favorite. Visiting the restaurant after over 3 years and nothing has changed - the same amazing service, the homemade flavors of delicious food and the best Tiramisu you can taste.Took some colleagues here and they loved the food equally. This is my go-to restaurant when in Killeen. Go to Little Italy if you are in the mood for some good Italian food.Their bread is one of a kind and everyone will love it. The food portions are huge, so you can ask for to-go boxes :)Wine and beer is served and their service is great. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Killeen - Ft. Hood. Dont miss Little Italy if you are in the area.

Drove over in the rain. So did several other ppl while I was in the parking lot. They were closed. On a Tuesday at 4pm. Delivery drivers came to pick up food for online orders ppl were making. Everybody is infuriated. Terrible.

The restaurant was nice enough for casual dining. We got the Combo Platter as an appetizer and that’s what made me do three stars. The breaded mushrooms were way over cooked as was the calamari. Now the tossed salad with the house dressing was a nice surprise, that was really good. I ordered the manicotti and it was delicious, my husband received the Fettuccini Modi Mio, it was good but he was expecting a little better. So overall it was not bad, just not fabulous.

I had high hopes for this little restaurant. Unfortunately, Im not able to give more than 2 stars. The young lady who served us was quite nice; however, the food left little to be desired. There was not much flavor on either meal but then too much of something (still not quite sure whaton one of the dishes - maybe too much lemon flavoring - really not sure. What I do know is we wont be back.

I was driving for UberEats, wait was quite long and the hostess or server didnt bother to ask about their sides. Finally got the food then asked about soup, salad or bread.Yes it came with the dinner and was never even offered until I asked.

If I could give them a -5 I would.First time here and last time. They were about to kill me. I ordered the chicken and shrimp alfredo no mushrooms comes with it. They gave me a complete different order with mushrooms after I told them no mushrooms highly allergic. When I called the owner daughter was rude disrespectful unapologetic and the girl hung up on me. If you have a food allergy dont go. They will kill you. They told me in order to get my food replaced. I will have to bring my food back and they couldnt accommodate me for their mess up. The only thing they can give me was a extra roll thats funny. Gas is high and you can only give me a roll. I told them I wanted all my money back every cent. These little girls that work here are rude and disrespectful including the owners daughter. They kept saying its the cooks fault. The cook didnt take the order the waitress did. What tops it off she said she doesnt even have the owners number but your the owners daughter. Too funny

Family Business thats cozy, fast service, hot food, and friendly Customer Service. Great place to take your significant other as well for cozy, romantic experience.

Im only leaving a review for their spaghetti. The rolls were very dry. The sauce was ok. The meatballs taste like wet dog food smells. Thats not trying to be insulting that is just the closest comparison. I wouldnt order spaghetti from here again.

The waitress was more interested in talking with her co workers.After she brought us our meals she never asked if we needed anything.Never refilled our tea glasses.They all 3 of them sit down and was eating there meals and didn’t seem to care if anyone was in restaurant..Won’t be going back there.

It was decent. I don’t know if we went there at the wrong time or they was busy or what but our food was cold when it came to us and tasted like it was just cooked in a microwave. The pizza is a lot better then the dine in dishes

We love this authentic family owned Restaurant and been going there for many years. Very nich ambiance, super clean, great food... Amazing! The prices are fair and the service is friendly. Just a wonderful place!

Family owned. Quiet, cute, quaint. Right off the major roadway. Closed Mondays. Great for a party of two or with a small group.

Update !!!! Down below is my first review for this restaurant that was based on some of thier desserts only. My opinion has not changed as far as the desserts are concern. As promised I tried other items on their menu. I ordered the Combo Specialty, which consist of lasagna, chicken parmigiana, and fettuccine alfredo. Also I ordered garlic butter rolls, raspberry tea and strawberry cheese cake for dessert. I have to say sadly I was not impressed with the meal. The entree was good not anything to brag about, on top of that the garlic rolls were little hard and the raspberry tea was bland. I must also state as with most of my reviews its about the food only dont know if a sit down experience at the restaurant is better or not. With that I have to drop my review from 5 to 3 stars. This review is during the lunch period so maybe that was factor so next time I will try a meal during the dinner period. 😴So to start this review off, I must say I havent tried any of the entree on their menu, this review is only about their desserts. As I was standing around the hostess counter waiting on a delivery pickup I noticed the dessert display directly across from the counter. Inside the display I saw cheese cakes, red velvet , chocolate mousse and cream coconut cakes. So those of you who dont know I have a serious sweet tooth so I couldnt resist the temptation to try out a few of these enticing desserts I mean seriously they were calling my name. I tried the chocolate, red velvet and cream coconut cakes. I enjoyed each flavor I tried. Everything was delicious and tasted homemade, definitely a treat for my taste buds. Will be one of my go to places for dessert. Now the five stars that I gave for this review is for the the desserts only so this could change once I try an entree on their menu, until then give those cakes a try if you happen to be in the area.🤩

This was amazing Italian food! Their pizza stood up to my childhood favorite in San Diego Ca ! Why because the cheese was so real and when you gave real mozzarella and gave the salt and gooey ness of the cheese topped with the flavorful sauce - it was a hit! Plus we also had a veal parmigiana and a chicken piccata. Not to mention desert! Definitely recommended!!!

Little italyAbsolutely amazing! Definitely coming back. I loved the mom & pop feel. Feels welcoming and warm here. Better than any chain restaurant I’ve had. Highly recommend the fettuccine Alfredo. Cheesecake was phenomenal. Couldn’t even get a picture before we dug in.

My NCO and I stopped in for lunch today and Im sad to say I wish we had eaten here sooner while here TDY because it was so good! We got the mussels in white sauce as a starter, he ordered the Tortelloni Alfredo while I got the Penne alla Vodka. Everything was fresh and was extremely delicious. Server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

First time eating here and I am highly disappointed about the hype of this place. Soup was terrible like it came from the can. Bread was hard and cold. Asked the server to sub the meat on our pizza for spinach and she wasn’t even going to tell me it was a $2 extra. I had to ask. The pizza we order all the toppings were falling off. Just trying to serve a it to my kids. Asked for more napkins for my toddler only received two little ones. I think my whole table asked for napkins about three more times. Not worth the $70 spent.

Went to this place Tuesday January 4, 2022. Ordered the chicken Parmigiana, thinking it would be freshly cooked. The food was bland, meat was frozen meat type patty still cold, spaghetti was covered with some kind of tomato sauce covered with cheese. Wife ordered the lasagna thinking that it was made to order. Not the case, looked like they made it earlier in the day in a big pan. It came to the table in a nice pasta dish however it was two pieces covered in the same tomato sauce and covered with cheese. When we brought it up to the servers attention all she could say was want me to remove the plates, and do you want a to-go box. I dont think so. Way over priced, not worth the price or time. However the drinks were cold. I do not RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Live and learn, try it at your own risk.

Great environment. Nice waitress very friendly. Food? Amazing. Delicious best Italian restaurant. It feels like I am at home.. prices are ok a bit expensive but it worth it...I will definitely come back!!!.

I went here because a lot of people said the food was really good here. I dont know if there was a new chef or what the day I got there. Everything tasted like it was served from a can and just heated up basically. Ended up spending 70 bucks for 2 main dishes and an appetizer. Olive Garden is way better and cheaper than this. I ordered Alfredo. You would think it would taste good because its so easy to make, but it was flavorless and drenched in grease. I didnt taste anything there that I liked besides the mozzarella sticks. Waste of my money. Really wish I would have went to Olive Garden instead.

This Italian place has amazing dishes and desserts. Weve tried many different dishes and enjoyed all of them including pizza. My favorite dessert is cannoli! If you want to have the best experience, Id recommend dining in. Ive noticed that it can be challenging ordering take out. The service is very good and theyre friendly. So I wondered it may have been because Ive tried ordering 30 minutes to close?

Alfredo pasta was literally straight milk didn’t taste any cheese. It was like i chugged a glass of 2% milk. Chicken parmesan was oily, I could literally separate just the oil to one side of the dish. An MRE has more flavor then both dishes, i’d rather have that. First time coming, never coming here again.

Had the chicken Toscana. Came with two chicken breasts and Angel hair pasta. It was a good portion. Customer service was excellent. Good little restaurant I would go back to again and take a date.

Highly recommend it!!! Our server was great and so sweet she helped me pick something since Im vegetarian. Ugh the bread was so Good!!! And the food was delicious. Lets not forget about yummy desserts. Im a big foodie and very picky, I ordered a few stuff and they all tasted amazing. The manager himself came by and took the used plates so we can have room on the table. Me and my friend didnt realize that we stayed there for 2 hours, just catching up until they were closing. They didnt rush us or no rudeness or anything. Im definitely coming back for sure.

me and my husband went for the first time on 11/20 and it was absolutely delicious! I wish I wasn’t bad with names because our server was amazing! He checked on us not too much but just enough.Appetizers: we got the zuppa di mussels and out of all the things this was probably at the bottom for me sadly! They were a little too tough for my liking.second appetizer we got was the fried ravioli with meat and with the pink sauce, 10/10! I’ve never had fried ravioli before but it was so good!Main Entree: my husband got the combo special which came with lasagna, chicken parmigiana, and alfredo. his favorite was the chicken parmigiana he said it was super flavorful!I got the lobster ravioli and omg it was so good. real lobster meat and it had shrimp in it! the sauce it is in is sooooo good. I would love that sauce with any kind of pasta.Overall great first experience! we were only there less than an hour so service was fast!

The food was mediocre. We didnt to go order and, when we got home, everything was still hot which is a huge plus. But, the appetizer combo was soggy and greasy, the fettuccine alfredo that was part of my husbands meal was bland, and my cheese ravioli lacked flavor, possibly due in part to their abnormally big size.

Diahes were overcooked, flavorless and burnt. Had to send food back. Friendly place did apologize for it but thats it. Not much flavor to the food despite the nice presentation. My sauce was filled with burnt bits from the pan and gave it a brown color. I am pretty picky with my Italian food coming from an italian neighborhood in NYC so I do hold a higher standard. We decided to give this place a shot because of the high ratings but it kind of was like eating at olive garden which somehow has a high rating too. Im pretty disappointed with the lack of flavor to each dish though.

I ordered the lobster ravioli for $14.99 and all I got is 4 ravioli. When I called to ask if its normal to only get 4 they told me that it is. I am very disappointed that for the amount you pay you hardly get any food at all. Waste of money, definitely not coming here again.

2nd best family run, homemade Italian food restaurant weve been to in Texas. Our home town is the #1, but this place was pretty close. Everyone loved their food and even wanted to try the desert, which was so good. If we are ever in this area again, we will be eating here.
