Little India - Diliman - Vegetarian restaurant in Malolos, Philippines
If you live in the Diliman area or even in South Triangle or Scout area in Quezon City and you crave for Indian food, then Little India might be a good place for you to get your Indian fix. Selling a wide variety of curries as well as meat dishes, youll find the food here just right with its spice and price. Theres Street parking available.
Food was good. havent really tried indian food before, but was really surprised of how good it was even thou it was vegan.
Serves Indian vegan dishes that would appeal to those interested to try Indian food
Little India is still my favourite restaurant-to-go-to when I like to eat vegetarian dishes. They can adjust the spice to your preference.Their samosa is the best I had in Manila, that goes very well with tamarind sauce. Yum!
Amazing food! The service was nice and fast. The place is kind of small though but everything else is amazing.
Healthy and authentic π there are vegan and gluten free options and thr price is very reasonable
Good option for trying some Indian food.Samosas (Indian Empanadaare a must try!Good choice of vegetation curries and chapatis (flat bread)Also good options for nice crispy dosas (Indian pancakes)Food : 5/5Ambience : 5/5Pricing : 5/5Accessibility could be an issue for elderly and wheel chair access as its on the 1st floor.
Amazing food! Would definitely recommend this place! Authentic Indian food, well prepared and great ambiance!
My Goto Place for Indian cravings. Decent - Friendly - Affordable.Samosa was so good today along with the Dosas. Idlis still need some work as itβs wet and moist when served. Still the best considering least options around.
LITTLE INDIA (4 1/2*)not a fan of Indian food but this changed my mind..palak pakora was like crunchy spinach chips..their tasty chana masala and dal fry does not have overpowering aroma...naan was also good...will definitely try out the other food in their menu
Our go-to place for amazing Indian food!Ive eaten here multiple times and have never been disappointed in the quality of the food. Highly recommended for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. At first, the serving looks small but its actually quite filling. Best dish for me is the aloo chat (crispy fried potato); I order it every time β€οΈ The veggie meat is also amazing. It tastes just like the real thing. Other favourites are the buttered naan, buttered chapati, paneer, and the chai.
Ahhhhh Indian food.....have my reservations regarding this cuisine. Went here with high hopes of changing my mind πAnd sadly it didnt π a hit but mostly mises for me. I guess its an acquired taste. the Indian food escaped is now closedπππππ
I was not expecting a delicious and heavy meal. I came out happy. Ordered the Mushroom Mutter and it was holy, added some Chapati buttered bread and bbq veggie meat to top my dinner. The place is well ventilated with a non-ac and air-conditioned room, a small terrace where you can dine while watching the cars pass by.
Great place to eat Indian food in metro manila. Loved the shahi paneer, channa masala And parantha.they do accept debit and credit cards here as well as alipay .they have outdoor as well as indoor seating area.
Superb taste, authentic, fresh on order and good portion. Restaurant is small but simply awesome. Try if you want Pure Vegetarian and authentic indian taste.
Highly recommended for great tasting vegetarian food, good serving size (okay for sharing too!), and value for money. I personally liked that they have meal sets in case youre not sure what to order. Nice ambience of the place and good service as well. π
An affordable and delicious spot for Indian food in Maginhawa. Located on the 2nd floor of the building, it is one of the areas older restaurants before the Maginhawa restaurant boom that started pre-pandemic. I always get the Mixed Platter which is under P200, and then I get naan paired with any of the vegetarian Indian dishes they have. On our last visit we had Dal Fry and Korma, both delicious with our naan. Staff is great. They have a small al fresco area that overlooks the street, but they also have an air conditioned dining area as well.
Healthy food with a reasonable priceπ
nice place to eat affordable and healthy indian food.
Food was very tasty and they give very generous servings. Love their rose lassi. Authentic indian and meatless food for a reasonable price. Too bad we werent able to taste their samosa as it wasnt available when we visited.
Nice place for authentic Indian food near the popular Maginhawa street. They have vegan options as well.
good food and ambiance.. must try their curry kofta.. youll never guess its veggie.. hehe..enjoy..
Very little parking space. But the food is affordable and I love the meatless food.I ordered Rose Lassi, Paneer Kadhai, and Mix Platter Pakora, I got full without the rice.Masala Tea taste like tangy salabat, but its a healthy drink.Halwa, or carrot pudding, is naturally sweet.
Little India is love π The place smells of exotic spices as you ascend the narrow stairs to the cozy tables upstairs. Everything about the place will transport you to India. Fromthe scintillating smell coming from the kitchen, to the soft Indian music playing, and photos of Indian deities plastered on the wall. The food is something else. Scrumptious and filling. What comfort food should be. I wish your restaurant all the best!
The food taste was really good. But not satisfied with the quantity! Loved the Lassiπ
I am not familiar with Indian cuisine myself but went here with an Indian guest. We ordered a good variety of dishes so we Filipinos get oriented with Indian dishes. Our Indian guest was very satisfied with what this restaurant offerred. He said the taste of the dishes are authentic Indian though mostly on the heavier (thick creamside!Personally, I really liked the Shahi Paneer (cottage cheeseand the Mango Lassi (yoghurt).UPDATE: Came back here with another well-travelled Indian guest. Verdict: 4 stars for the food. Nevermind the simple ambiance.
Food tasted good; however, most of what we want to order were not available. Service is fast and the staff is efficient and courteous. The dining area is on the second floor, and parking space is very limited.
I dont actually like Indian food, but this ones good. ππππ Their mango fruit shake has a weird taste, but worth a try. π Oh, a bit pricey btw. We spent 800+ for two.
Good indian food but a bit pricey. Kind staff but service is slow
A surprising find in this corner of the city. The place is clean and cozy. The waiters were attentive and polite. The food was delicious.
Always love going here. Its authentic Indian food and its all vegetarian! The price is more than reasonable and its really delicious. The staff are friendly and the ambience is calming. Its the perfect place to catch up with friends and get full on a budget.
Had dinner with girl friends. We tried the Little India for the first time and very tasty food, reasonable price, atmosphere is special, but the food is great. This is the original and authentic Indian restaurant, I would like to say original flavour of Indian food service is five star. The waiters were attentive and service overall was good.Yummm! If you would like to eat authentic Indian food, try this place.
Good vegetarian restaurant. No non vegetarian meals served here. Price is reasonable. Little far from the city center.
Little India is a little restaurant hidden in a corner on Malingap. I was surprised by how reasonably priced it was, considering it was a speciality restaurant. The food was delicious! And the menu had so many options, I know for sure Ill come back to try more menu items. We also had samosas and galub jamun, which tasted exactly like they should. If I had to suggest anything, it would be to serve ice with the water. But overall, a great place.
I just love the food. No more to say.
Great Indian food experience. Cozy & homey. Great for family eat out or friends get-together. With outdoor setup, adds to its homey feel.
Good Food , Their snack are more authentic , No Non veg options though ; the sides are more delighful than their Main dishes but this place was bit cozy than others !!
Orders are a bit small but if youre looking for a vegetarian restaurant then this place is pretty good. Parking isnt that great. But I liked their Rajma and their Paneer. The Rajma are red kidney beans in Garam Masala gravy. Its filling but I still find it a bit pricy for a small dish.
Great vegetarian food near UP Diliman. Service takes a bit of time, but because food is made fresh. Staff are attentive and the place is clean.
Only decent Indian resto in the North!I just realized that theres a huge gap in Indian restaurants in Quezon City! Anyway, Little India is the only on I found with good ratings and the question is, how does it fair? Personally, nothing beats the Royal Curry House in Poblacion but this will do. I ordered their Paneer, Naan and Lassi. Wouldve loved to try their Balsamic friend rice offers but they got sold out at 7pm. Thats a sign that they should have better forecasting. For me, their Paneer is too creamy and milky for my liking. For the others, I would have to say tastes ordinary and nothing special. However, if you really have that Indian food craving in you, Little India will do.
The food is vegan friendly and easily within budget. The ambiance is nice and laid back, great for an afternoon to enjoy on your own or with the company of your closest friends. Plus, it has balcony seating for smokers
Nice little discovery one drizzly day. Food was great! I so love their samosa. Affordable too. This is a vegetarian place so if you love your meats, you wont find one here.
Definitely a trip to India with their sumptuous meals to offer!Food is really delicious. Herbs and spices add distinct flavor in each dishes. Theres so many choices to choose from appetizers, main course and desserts. Vegans will love here.Place is very accessible which is near Kalayaan Ave QC. In terms of space, it is not big still can accomodate enough pax and acceptably neat.Price is in midrange which equates the servings that is good for 2-3 pax. Accomodating staff.
My wife and I love the place! Correction, not just the place but the food as well. :The place feels very warm and welcoming and the food is not just delicious but healthy to too!! I should also add that its authentic Indian food and affordable! :D
I only knew curry when it came to Indian cuisine. So I was happy to try out this restaurant. I love the fact that they serve delicious yet meat-free dishes. Vegan options are available, too. There are also different spice levels. (Go for mild if you are a newcomer. I love spicy Korean noodles, yet the normal spice level was too hot for me.)
Good vegan options, and their menu is very helpful for customers who arent familiar with Indian cuisine terms. The place is a bit small, and quite intimate. You can eat meals here in peace.
People who are looking for pure vegetarian options in Manila can come here for sure. There are many options for Indian food, taste is good and its not too expensive. Usually there is no wait time. The food comes in 10-15 mins after your order.
Affordable place. Good pakoras. Chhole bhature were slightly disappointing and the daal fry was okay on the Indian-ness but the daal could use a bit more softening. Overall an average Indian restaurant. Not completely disappointing and not fantastic too!
I particularly loved the Soya Bhujia (minced soya with spices, nuts, raisins, and bell pepperbut all the other dishes we ordered were flavorful. We tried the cucumber yogurt, the mix platter (with samosas, aloo chop, and assorted pakoras), the veggie meat curry, and one of the pita bread combos. The mango yogurt shake was a winner, too--you could really taste the sweet mangoes and the sour, refreshing yogurt. Will definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu.January 2018 update: Try the mushroom curry and mushroom pakoras as well. Before you leave, check out the goods for sale--I picked up a bottle of vegetarian (soya-based"fish" sauce and vegetarian "oyster" sauce. Perfect for vegetarians and those allergic to seafood!
The only (I thinkauthentic Indian food in the Teachers Village area. I tried it when they just opened and wasnt too much of a fan. Recently though, Ive given it another chance and found their food delicious! Healthy, vegetarian option in an area packed with not-so-healthy choices. I loved the Palak Paneer! Will be back here again!
