This place does not have dine in and on top of that the restroom is not functional either. Food was okay hence the extra star.

The lady probably she is Owner very rude .this is not a first time.I guess they use frozen Samosa to deep Fry,, when I complain middle part of Samosa was ice she go madPrice is very high compared to other Indian restaurants in Santa clara County.Never again :(She need to be professional while doing business.If there is less then one I will give this restaurant-1star .

Service was great and food was great as well, had that home cooked meal feel

They are offering only take out when we went in July22. Good food and reasonable prices. Nothing outstanding on flavors but I like that they have meals boxes, rolls, ala carte menu all in one place.

Unbelievably delicious. Worth the wait as a walk-in. No indoor seating available at this time. Chicken Tikka Masala and Naan (also garlic). Rice was a bit undercooked, but flavors were amazing. Tried the Chai tea also. Return visitor a must.

Their daal was delicious. Tea could have been better. Go to place when youre visiting Gilroy premium outlet mall. There is no dine in, only takeout currently.

So sad. We walked in hoping for a great Indian meal, only to find the manager in distress because employees did not show up. Who knows "why" or "what"? We felt so bad for the manager, and hoping that things get better.

WOW !!! If I was able to give more than 5 stars to this place I would. Best ever authentic North Indian food I had not just in Bay Area but in north America. We did carry out while driving from Monterey to SFO and were not very sure about the quality of the food. Palak paneer, butter chicken, Biriyani are few to mention with best authentic tasting dishes we had. Nans were super soft and delicious. Service was very quick and efficient. It a very small restaurant in a very small and remote location in Bay Area but worth a drive to try their delicious food.

Butter Chicken, Shrimp Curry, Mango Lassi, Vegetable Samosa and Cheese Naan were all excellent. Be aware that there is a scale of 1 to 10 for spicy. We chose 5 and we like spicy; it was more than a little piquant! We also noticed that the place is very clean; good service. $$/$. We love supporting Family owned businesses.

This place is delish! Their Butter Chicken, Shrimp & Chicken Curry and Garlic Naan were really tasty! Comes super hot temp wise and to your spice liking! Can’t believe we just tried this place! Such a nice surprise!

This place is truly a hidden gem! My husband and I really enjoyed their samosas and butter chicken. I look forward to trying the rest of the items on their menu! Incredibly friendly family as well :)

If you think that you dont like Indian food, get over it and try this place. Tandoori chicken, butter chicken, chicken do pizza, aloo gobhi, chicken Tikka masala all superb. Dont forget the Naan and basmati rice. Im sure there are a lot more dishes that are awesome that I just havent tried yet. Be sure to specify what heat level you want, they will do it to your liking.

The food is authentic and plentiful, the owners are all extremely kind and nice, and the food is mild enough that its a great way to introduce kids who may be wary of spice levels. They also have both vegetarian and non-veg options, and have fantastic tandoori.Always quick without compromising quality!If you can, I recommend calling them rather than ordering via doordash, a lot more wallet friendly that way!edited to include that they have veg options

Delicious Indian cuisine.Spices are blendly nicely to creat a rainbow of flavors on the tongue.Tandoori Chicken cooked to juicy perfection.Samosa is a big hit with the family. Large size Samosas have a crunch shell with soft well balanced inside.Spinach dish is amazing, filled with tofu.Chickpeas cooked in special Indian spices hit the spot.GARLIC Nan with hint of butter - cannot get enough of the well prepared bread. I Love to dip the nan in all the curry and spice flavors.Great dinner. Highly recommend.

I was originally going to have Little Caesars pizza but I found an exciting alternative. I believe i got the non-veg platter. The butter chicken was just amazing. The paneer was a close 2nd. I was initially worried about the price but they definitely give you a generous amount of food.

Terrible food. The food is far from authentic India. We ordered chicken do pyaza and rotis. The onion were half cooked and chicken was not fully cooked. The gravy was below par taste. Not recommend to dine here. The paratha and the Nans were good. No paper napkins on tables. The restaurant was totally empty no good ambience. Dont waste your money here. Better cook khichdi at home.

Food is okay, okay means just fill your stomach forcefully with no taste. Not really a great place for Indian food.I dont know why they do vegetable rice put title as biryani. All the items are okay to taste but dont except much. Even the rice we felt it wasnt cooked properly and served from morning.

Little India is excellent! Be sure and try the chana masala, it will knock your socks off the best Ive ever had, family-owned in Ran, very clean very nice atmosphere

Really great place for Indian food. Its a bit of a ways from the freeway but well worth the effort. Try their butter chicken and mango lassi! The chicken is tender and the lassi is not just some mango pulp and yogurt, its ACTUAL lassi with all the sourness that rightly belongs there!

The taste of dal tadka, crispiness of parantha with butter, softness of bhatura and great hospitality made this place feel like home.

All the dishes were delicious, Naan stands out the most though. Perfect crisp and soft with curry. Veg Biryani was also very good

Usually a friend of mine and me go to Shalimar in Fremont. Its a far drive but the food is well worth it. we tried this place for the first time and were blown away. We knew it was here but we didnt know if it could be executed well. I was wrong and will probably just go here from now on. Shrimp tandoori with the chicken tikka masala. Rice and naan bread really good quality stuff.. keep it up guys.

Great Indian food in Gilroy, the food runs on the spicy side so ask for mild if thats what you prefer. Im so happy that theres great Indian in the neighborhood. The butter chicken is just as good as any Ive had elsewhere.

Authentic Indian food! Best I have had in a while. The food is made from scratch and Nan bread is made fresh to order. Definitely going again!

The reason I went there was because the description said it was an all you can eat but alas this was not the case. They had a lunch special that consisted of Chicken Tikka Masala for $18 which I thought it was a bit pricey but it was tasty. Service was slow and waitress was distracted with other customers and neglected other tables. I would probably come back to taste some other items in the menu but I was not very impressed.

Great little place tucked away in a strip mall. Its located in a corner so changes are you might miss it. Its in the same stop as an Irish pub and an armed forces career center. Good food. Recommend trying this place if you are in the mood for Indian

This place is my favorite place for Indian food in Gilroy or Morgan Hill. Fast service, friendly staff, and a wide variety of delicious food. I love finding the foods most places serve (like tandoori chickenand others that many other restaurants dont, like the wide selection of different breads, the goat curry or the chicken do piaza. The dishes are flavorful without being heavy, and the menu makes it easy to tell if something contains dairy or not. There are a lot of restaurants in the shopping center, so make sure to look for the little place in the corner, next to the Irish pub.

We eat at Little India regularly. Every meal we have had has been delicious. My wife and I especially love the lamb dishes. In our opinion this is one of the best restaurants in Gilroy.

Food was avg and waiter took long time like 25-30 mins to bring 3 items we ordered. It was decent flavor. Looks like they are short-staffed.

Service- girl waitress was alone, nice but forgot a lot. We had to repeatedly ask for everything twice. The Indian guy, did not interact with us at all, seemed like he was only interacting with the non Indians.The food is very average, the chai was not good at all, a bit on the pricy side. Portions are small.

Three of us came here after Renaissance Faire in Hollister on a Sunday evening. Service is attentive, and food arrived quickly. I enjoyed the lamb vindaloo and the chicken de piaza (onion gravy without cream). The assorted naan was good, but barely enough for 3 hungry souls. The paneer tikka masala had a strong medicinal taste which I didnt like. The mango lassi was horrible, tasted like it was diluted with water and had no flavor of sweetness.

One of the worst Indian food place in california, the food I have ordered is chicken biriyani which tastes like some kind of fried rice and no flavor to it.And they have given us one cup of raita for 3 orders which feels so bad and they doesnt provide any kind of sides here in this place and I suggest people to not go to this restaurant at any timeBecause its waste of moneyNote:- we try to give a suggestion about the things happens to the manager after thought not wasting food. She was complaining back that after eating all food and siting at table for 1 hr we are not capable of saying anything about food.After all we try to give a suggestion I hope people at that place should not have enough talent of handling the customers

Overall best Indian food in California, I ordered chicken biryani and goat biryani and had excellent flavor. One of the most authentic biryanis Ive ever had. They gave a plentiful amount of riata. The manager Nikki came out and made sure we were taken care of. Overall our experience here was excellent and I recommend it to everyone.

Went in for Saturday lunch buffet. Very less variety. All food was cold. Worst thing , didnt had any daal with rice. No drinks at all. Overall, waste of money. And they dont even pay attention for buffet eaters coz they have other customers ordering by menu.I DO NOT recommend at all.

They paid more attention to people ordering food from regular menu. Not to people having buffet. Food was cold, tasteless. No flavours, completely bland food. Nothing to drink with food.Apart from horrible food, no hot water in restrooms, the restaurant was cold, no temperature maintained in the building. Not good ambience. Very limited Vegetarian options.

Little India is one of those places that seems a little inconspicuous - it sits in a corner, and is rarely full however, it should be!We have been here a few times - by ourselves, with a small group and for take out, and each time the experience and food has been great.The service has always been friendly, casual and attentive, occasionally overly so, but I do prefer extra refills on my homemade chai to an empty cup. Food is always quick, but that could be due to the fact that there is rarely more that one or two other tables occupied.The food. Again, I cannot believe it isnt busier! Often, Indian dishes all start to taste exactly the same in western restaurants, so it is a real pleasure to order an array and be able to distinguish the delicate flavours and the spice levels between them.There is a great vegetarian selection which I cannot wait to try more of, and goat is on the menu! Yes!! Yum! There is always a great balance of meat and sauce in the dishes and the Naan is not too thick. I usually have trouble stopping once I start here.They also offer tandoori wraps which we have had once before. Excellent.All in all, I label this one of my favourite comfort food places, for either take out, of to just sit and eat, even it if is a little expensive.

We saw mixed reviews and thought wed give it a try for dinner. We love Indian food and this place was excellent. Our table ordered Vindaloo, chicken tikka, palak paneer, Aloo Matar, lamb korma, naan and rice. Everyone enjoyed their food and raved about it. Service was wonderful and prompt. We will be back soon!

I been to little India few times and really love the food here. The price is reasonable and service is excellent. Really good tandoori chicken and Saag. I would definitely go there again.

They offer their lunch buffet to-go! You can order from the menu, too (their malai kofta and daal are divine). This place covers all three things I look for in any restaurant: affordable prices, delicious and fresh food, friendly service.
