Familiar dimly-lit sports bar & grill with dark wood walls, 30+ TVs, pool & live music on weekends.
Free happy hour food ! Consider pressing the Like button if you are enjoying this reivew. No more free happy hour food. :(They moved Little Hoolies from next to the Publix across from The Falls to the old Hooligans under the 874 on US1.It felt almost like they moved the entire bar, the soggy rugs, the pool tables, everything, just relocated it all to the new location. Was surprised when they did that. From what I understood, there was a disagreement between the management and the landlord. But I really have no clue what happened.Little Hoolies had been at the Publix since at least the 1980s, if not even before then. The best part was Free Happy Hour food with the purchase of drinks. When that went away, there really wasnt much to keep it alive.
Having a great singing karaoke and old friends and eating chicken wings and chips finding new friends. If you like to sing pass time with friends great place to be and there are 2 pool tables and TV Games ON. Come Wednesdays start at 10 PM.
Was there for school of Rock event. Nice ambience. Service was on the slow side but friendly. Food was good. Nice place to take in a game with your buddies.
Great atmosphere. 12 tvs. We had bbq wings ina honey mustard sauce, onion rings and sweet potato fries all were great. Service was quick and friendly.
Service is a little lacking but they have a good selection of drinks and the price point is superb for the area. Great spot to start the night off if youre trying to get a headstart before grabbing dinner nearby.
Not a fan. Service was horrible you have to hunt down staff. Music was horrible. The jokes on stage by the singer were not funny. Music was off beat and too loud for the space. The pool tables and capacity did not work you had people playing pool and going up into your table.
The place has a great atmosphere but they need to hire more waitresses, at least three! I ordered a rum with coke and they brought it to me in an "old fashion" glass, which is not adequate and to be so small it was very expensive.
Live music, no cover! They had the Mr. Nice Guy classic rock band tonight and they are excellent, though very loud...not the place for quiet conversation. Food prices are reasonable - we only had wings (they were pretty goodso I cant comment on the quality of other food.
I love this place! Great atmosphere. The best part about Country Tuesdays besides the music is how everyone gathers and dances together :)
Excellent,, Trip Machine band amazing.
This was my first time at this sports bar. There was easy parking and the place had a nice and fun ambiance. Even though there were a lot of people there, we easily found sitting There was a band playing from 9-2 am which was fantastic, even though a little too loud. I was surprised there was only an older couple dancing, but maybe later more danced as we left at 11:00. There was not enough room in the tables for all the plates with food we ordered. The portions were generous. I enjoyed the baked potato and Caesar salad however the two grilled chicken breasts were too dry. The prime rib was good, but a little overcooked. I would not recommend going there to have a full meal on a Friday night why the band is playing. I would recommend this place, overall, I am very glad we went, had fun!
Great live music. You dont think from the outside that you will find such great beers, liquors and environment inside.I want to have an IPA beer and the variety of beers available did not let me to have just one.Located in a mall with plenty of restaurants, bakery and yogurt establishments. Excellent place for an after dinner.
This place is jam packed on a Saturday night. Beware when the band plays, they play alll night long, with 2 intermissions, and you will wait forever for your server. Its an older crowd, so dont expect to pick anyone up under 45.
Great venue for live music. Fun local bands, energetic crowds. Good food and drink, typical bar and grill selections. Nice bar to watch sport events.
Cool environment. Good location. Great if you love bikes, live music or sports. They have billiards which is a plus in my book. Thursday is an open mic night. The foods aight and the drink prices are par with the area.
What is called Little Hoolies now used to be a big Hooligans back in the 70s 80s 90s and early 2000s. Then they closed it and there was only Little hoolies near The Falls. And it was amazing to me when a little while ago they said that Little Hoolies had closed and Hooligans had opened back up and its original location across the street from Dadeland Station. My wife and I went, and we saw that it is a Little Hoolies but back in the big Hooligans area.It is little, it is not as big as the old Hooligans was, but its totally redone and seems like brand new! all of the furniture is new and the paint is new and there is a big stage for live music on the left hand side! The bathrooms are updated and are actually pretty nice. They still have pool tables just like they used to. Only not as many of course. We ordered a bunch of food and it came pretty quickly but that is probably because we were the only people there as you can see by the pictures.I remembered the burgers being very good and it was! We also got a bunch of fried food jalapeno poppers and the like and it was all very good. But the surprise for the french fries! I had forgotten, but remembered right then that back in the day my friends and I used to order basket upon basket of fries! They were so good that I think I am going to start calling them the best fries in town! Our server was very nice and quick and very competent. I have no idea what the place will be like when its full, and I kind of cant wait to go back there to experience The nightlife like I used to back in the 80s.Little hooligans is laid-back and its a great place to go either for a quiet afternoon when no one is there, and Im sure itll be fine when there are lots of people there.just for the record, its where my wife and I met so I am happy it is back! However, when we told our waitress thinking we had a unique story, she said right back to us that she heard the same story a week ago but from a couple older than we were! So its a place where people meet and keep going back!
Great hang out place with friends. Yummy food, drinks and live music. Tonight we had the pleasure of Eclipse performing. We love this band and have been followng them for years.
This is a cozy little bar with a warm atmosphere and fair drink prices. The owner and the wait staff were very friendly. Thanks for shooting pool with me Mike. Thanks for the memories Mariaelena.
Had a great time. Band was lively and entertaining. Will definitely come back
I liked that place, because it was in Tuesday and despite of that it was very funny evening! I liked the pool especially! I met the company for enjoying the game! Thenks for that music and resting time!
Good vibe, good food and includes large screen TVs and 2 pool tables. In addition, there is Karaoke on Wed and Sun night and on Fri and Sat, there are usually live bands..
Great place to come for a drink after work! Prices for happy hour is way to good to be true you have to try the ribs on the weekend! Mac and cheese is to die for! And my server lauren was super fast!!
Great place for live music. Great hang out. Last time i was there perhaps the waitress was new. I asked what kind of IPA beers they had and the waitress had no clue. I had to literally walk over to their register to chose.
We went to see No Restrictions, we had a good time. Everyone was friendly and there just to have a good time. No fights and they did have food too. Their wings and nachos were very good.
It’s a pretty great American style bar. I go randomly. Good food. Fair prices. Terrible karaoke singers. Definitely a top bar nearby. Go.
Worst experience ever. This is the first and last time I will attend this establishment. I am 7 months pregnant and have gestational diabetics. I ordered water and the server “Daine” refused. I asked another server , she said to give her a minute, once she was bringing it , the service “Daine” told her not too and throw it away right in front of me. I requested to speak to the manger “Steve” and he just didn’t care at all to hear what happened, He used the excuse of “its been very crazy” I thought that was a very petty excuse. My husband was buying drinks, spending money. The least I can get was water without it being a big deal. I will be following up this issue with the cooperation because at this point my health was in jeaoperdy.
The Buffalo wings are a must. They are amazing and crispy and spicy. I go on late night runs all the time. I have not tried anything else yet but the vibes are really nice.
Old gem with good happy hour drinks and they have a love local band play on weekends. Pool tables and TVs playing sports all around. Great place to catch some NBA or NFL games while having a cold brew or cocktail. Place has been around for quite a while and a spinoff from the original Hooligans....
A little local hole in the wall place with awesome live music, best place to go to hear live local cover bands & get a bite to eat. Happy hour specials, open pretty late, 3 pool tables and many tvs to watch your favorite sports events. Tables, booths, and bar seating. When they dont have a live band playing, theres karaoke on Wednesdays &.Sundays country night on Tuesdays & DJs other nights. Its one of the best local neighborhood bars. Id highly recommend it.
Fun little dive spot. Pool tables, open late if youre a night owl. Went on a night with a 70s/80s band and they were great, it was a fun time!
Little hoolies is a great local hang out. Its a bar it may have food I think Ive seen it served. Theres often live music the bands that play there are tight and keep the place of rockin.Theres a few feet for a dance floor but theyve filled part of that in with extra tables but people still make room. The drinks are cold and the prices are reasonable. Its located right behind the Falls Mall.Turn off US1 at The Falls and follow the curve around until you get to the Publix parking lot and pull into the right. Theres ample parking and the place doesnt even get going till after 10 p.m. And its open really late...
Its a dive bar. Its not the cleanest nor does it attract the classiest crowd, you can count on seeing people doing drugs in the bathroom. Ive had several friends have their purses stolen here, can be a rough crowd at times. Country night is probably the best night to go. They used to have a lot of underage kids that would find their way in however I believe that they have gotten better bouncers and started to resolve that problem. You just have to take it for face value. The food is good.
My favorite place for open mic and karaoke. Pitchers are cheap and wings are good. Most of the time there are also beautiful Kendall girls which is a PLUS!
My buddy and me waited 20 minutes at the bar for the bartender to greet us. Later, the pool table lost a ball and we asked for the assistance from a floor waitress to retrieve it. She gave us a very strong attitude like we were asking for the world. Apparently, I heard later that she was seen getting into an argument with another waitress earlier. Just a very bad night here for customer service.
Very disappointed. Would give no stars if able to. My husband spent 17 dollars on 2 drinks. He was playing pool and the barmaid went and took his drink, he kept calling her and she kept walking away so he touched her arm and she said you touched me and they threw him out. Maybe thats their plan to take drinks that arent finished so you have to spend more money there. Very unfair. Been there many times but will never go back!
Country night on Tuesdays is the best! Youll learn so many fun line dances and defintely burn a bunch of calories in the process. Check it out!
The place is great. The staff is very friendly. Great place to hear some good old Rock and roll. They have live bands Fridays and Saturdays.
The rules for Ladies Night got changed a little but its still a fun place to hang on Wednesdays. The two guys working the bar are always nice. Watching people karaoke is fun, especially with drinks! Theres tvs around the room and pool tables as well.
Good place, live music, nice setup, cozy, big TVs, pool tables, fast servers. A little old type tavern. Parking is good. Close to Outback Ana the falls mall.
Little Hoolies is fantastic! Theyve got a decent amount of TVs and a couple pool tables. They have live music very often with a good central stage. Definitely more of a late night spot as there is minimal lighting, but its a great local dive.
The place is a hole in the wall, but its my hole in the wall. The food is alright if you like greasy things. The salads are much better. The waitresses try their best to serve their tables, it can be really cramped at times. The best part is that no smoking is allowed inside any longer.
Superior quality of food, service and everyone is super sweet and welcoming!
If you like 70s lounge music this is the place. The band is alright for the type of music they play. The draft beers are flat. I had to try 2 different ones before I switch to bottles. Crowd is 50+ at all times. Not sure if I will come back
I always have a great time here. I go on Tuesdays for country night and the line dancing instructor is hilarious. Hes helpful, patient. Funny, and down right awesome! Even if you dont like country, just give it a try. Oh their wings are pretty great too and only 25 cents on tuesdays. Go with the Buffalo garlic.
Good food , music & atmosphere ! Live bands , country music, karaoke & other great nights available. Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name !
Im a regular and out of nowhere I had a old man screaming at me before entering the premises. This old man walked up to us and asked us if we was driving a gray car and started yelling at us and that we shouldnt be driving and that he was going to call the Police on us. After apologizing to him he then called us a**holes and Walked away On us. We then found out that he is the manager when we ask the security. We was Very disappointed.. The manager is very unprofessional hope the owner take care of that because they going to be losing lots of loyal customers.
I have been going to Lil Houlies since I was 19 which shows my age and it has always been my Hometown bar. Its just like Cheers its a place you can go when you always know somebody there and I love the owner Chris he does everything to make the bar the best for his patrons even though he bought that bar so he could have a place to watch sports. Well Chris we are all glad you did. There is something to do there every night and I think he books the best local bands in Miami I dont know what I would do without this astonishment.
This place has coldest beer in town, great food, live music and more TVs than any other bar & grill in the area. Also smoking is no longer allowed and it does not smell like smoke. Ive been going there since it opened.
Your friendly neighborhood dive bar -Im a bit tired of the wussification of the neighborhood bar. Yes Lil Hoolies is smoky & dark and has a very interesting mix of clientele. But if you want an occasional venture out from your organic lovin world then this is a good port of call. I visit every other month or so. The food is okay the drink is better. Nice live music variety. I have never had any issue with the service. Butch up and give this place a try.
Ive dipping in and out of here for years. Years I tell ya!Smokey, loud, and the cocktail glasses are tiny and crammed with ice. Fortunately for them, they are adjacent to The Wolfe Den.About the only thing appealing about the joint is the live music.
