Laid-back venue serving pub fare, plus veggie options, in homey digs with sea views. Dog friendly.
Lovely place to stop by and have a bite to eat...lovely friendly staff also ...and great u can take the dogs with u to 🙂 looking forward to going bk again to try more of the gorgeous menu
Very friendly, helpful staff. Great food and nicely refurbished. Highly recommended!
Really great place to have lunch. The food was excellent. We were a party of four and no complaints here. Staff were very helpful.
Beautiful meal. Lovely choice of menu. Lots of space. Cosy, beautiful pub with really lovely and helpful staff
Recently updated, comfy seating and a nice ambience. Just the right side of busy when we visited on a Thursday night. Refreshingly no being kicked out at 10 due to low custom! We will be back.
This is ok for a summer evening drink but for traditional meals eg.sunday lunch it a definitely no.everthing was ok until it came to the roast potatoes done in rosemary & garlic..that put a stop to us eating their again someone should explain roast potatoes are done in beef dripping.?
Me and my friends had visited the restaurant we loved creamy garlic mushrooms and elderflower nojito very much.Service was so nice.Loved it
Lovely location and a pleasant atmosphere. The pub has recently had a refurbishment and although the layout hasnt changed much the decor, flooring and furniture have been given a nice makeover- its now a really nice place to eat and drink with improved service levels and a new menu too. Well worth a visit. The outside areas have a mixture of heated beach huts and open seating right by the sea.
Very disappointing. Went for Trio Roast Pork, beef and turkey so was expecting great things but when it arrived we literally had a few peas and one stem of Tenderstem broccoli. Beef and Turkey were very tasty but Pork was overcooked and dry. Very reasonably priced but just not enough vegetables for us.
I thought I would share my experience , we arrived early. There were no instructions in the confirmatory email as to the booking in procedure so we just turned up at the bar where we were just ignored.A waitress was passing so we asked her what to do. We joined the queue which extended out the door so someone could book us in.The person responsible for carrying out this bureaucratic process was also responsible for escorting you to your table hence the delay.I ordered beef pie, mash and gravy, when the food arrived the mash was some reheated unrecognisable substance, the carrots had not been topped and tailed and had rotten bits in them.Worst of all the meat in the pie was inedible gristle.Basically the food was inedible.Overall it was an awful experience so disappointed.
Recently eaten here with a large group of family from Oxfordshire and Australia. Following a recent refurb it’s decor and ambiance are excellent. The staff were amazing and really engaging to the whole table as well as the kids, they made us feel welcome and well looked after. The food was great as well and service was in good time.Over all an excellent experience made even better by their passionate landlady and enthusiastic staff. Thank you all very much.
Lovely to sit in the evening sunshine with a cider. Lovely location customer service needs to improve. Even if buying cider and a bowl of chips, a smile would be good
Had no notice that it was the last day before closing for refurbishment so there was very little food and hardly amy choice of drinks sadly.Service was slow and no staff. Hope New company will change it around
A great location on summer evenings, been here several times sitting outside watching the sun go down. The menu is limited having several veggie options, but it is excellent.
What a busy pub. Very full but service was good and quick excellent pint 👍 of IPA. Portions were just right for a midday meal. Top marks.
After walking and watching the beautiful Clevedon sunset, we went there for food and drinks with friends. We had been there several times before and were satisfied.Weekends are usually busier than other days. After finding a suitable place with a beautiful view of the sea and the sunset, we ordered drinks and food. The waiter was very nice and polite and took our order calmly and politely.First the drinks and more than half an hour later our food was prepared and served.Of course, it was a good time to chat and enjoy a drink and a beautiful view of the sea.The food was not quite good. All meals were accompanied by chips, none of which had salt on them, but my chips had a lot of sea salt on them.Apparently the chef had put all the salt on my chips.Of course, it was sea salt and could be easily removed from the food.We all laughed at this. But it is better for the chef to be more careful in this field.
Always used to enjoy our nights out here but the usual girls are missing and new staff dont seem to notice customers who are on their own.Lots of signs to remind you to pay the car park and wait at the "host stand" but after waiting at the bar and the host stand and staff looked straight at me but nothing happened.Husband went in after looking for me and overheard staff telling another customer there was no food Monday or Tuesday, they hadnt seen the tiny sign to announce this either.
Avoid like the plaque!!! I could write volumes on how poor our experience was, but suffice it to say - terrible service and extremely sub standard food. Staff argued with us over what we had ordered on one main course then got one dessert wrong, yet made no apology or any attempt to put it right.
Was impressed cleaness very good even toilets very clean of a high standard went there midweek daytime .We had a nice meal and the young girl in bar and on till was well trained the same as the young staff waiting on tables .Only thing that took the shine of the little harp was a older lady seemed in a bad mood but we all have bad days but the food and the rest of staff all good well done
Awful meal, lovely location. Went for beef Sunday lunch £14, 2 small slices of beef and it was tough and mainly gristle. They asked how my meal was so I told them...... never saw them again!?! 🙈 Second time Ive eaten here and disappointed on both occasions. 😐
you need to pay and display in this pub car park, either cash in the machine or an app paybyphone if u use the app download it before you go mobile phone signal is terrible, so downloading on site will take an age, if you eat in the pub take the car park ticket you get and they will deduct from your bill, food here is amazing, good friendly staff, stunning views out to sea 😊
Long wait to order and receive food, had to ask for air conditioning to be put on as it was very hot and stuffy with many people using menus to fan themselves.Atlantic cod was nice, batter very dry though and vegan fish was awful, bottom had clearly stuck to pan/grill so not coated on one side and was very dry and cardboard like.Had to wait to find someone to be able to pay despite asking twice, ended up standing and waiting at till until someone came over. Also! Ate here as had cashback offer through Lloyds but receipt given and bank payment just shows Little Harp Inn, not Greenking - so no cashback!
I could be accused of being biased because my niece-in-law used to manage this hostelry. But it was, is and always has been a really great place to visit; stunning views, great service and superb food and drink. It’s everything a traditional pub should be and more.
Stopped here on the way back from Torquay. We needed lunch. Car park was small and you had to pay for parking, but got a refund if you purchased anything. The place was very busy with people stopping off for a drink before a function across the road. All tables in restaurant were reserved, so we sat in the bar on very uncomfortable sofas which werent very clean and covered in dog hair!!!! Dinner was meat, very few veg, a huge Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy. Not worth the extortionate price! Service was awful. Wont be going back.
Whilst I appreciate places are short staffed and food can be delayed. I took my disabled mum to The Little Harp for lunch today. After being slightly put out that we had to pay for parking (my mum has a disabled badge), we entered the pub and had to wait to be seated (10 minutes Whilst staff walked passed us on numerous occasions and didnt even acknowledge us). We were seated and left to our own devices. Having looked at the menu, and after 10 minutes of waiting for staff, I noticed in small print at the bottom of the menu we could download the app and order the food via that (difficult when you have little signal. I eventually downloaded the app and ordered (20 minutes after entering the building5 minutes later a waiter came to say there was a 40 minute wait on food (Would have been nice to have been told that when we 1st arrived). I am not one to complain and understand if they are understaffed so said that was fine.We waited, waited and waited some more and only after seeing people who had arrived after we had ordered being served food, I queried our order, "its just being plated up" was the reply. 10 minutes later it arrived. 1 hour and 20 minutes later!!! The food was ok, except what could only be described as smash on my plate. We could have possibly forgiven the delay and the smash but their customer service (which I believe is everythingwas shocking. Apart from driving the food, no one apologised for the delay or checked if everything was ok. They werent too busy to be polite!
The vegan fish and chips was good. It wasnt tofu as it typically is but something else that felt better than fish 😁. I enjoyed it and it was a good find as most places just have vegan burgers. Friendly customer se service and a nice view of the sea
Very friendly staff, great food at reasonable prices. Lovely outside seating (with pretty painted pods if windyand great views across the estuary to South Wales
We had a lovely experience at the Little Harp Inn. The food was delicious with lots of options for everyone in our party - this is the perfect place to eat and drink if you are visiting the Marine Lake
one of the best pubs in Cleveland very nice and clean and great service and nice food
Beautiful view, lovely food and outdoor seating area! Dogs welcome outside (not sure about inside), would highly recommend getting the pie and chips its lush! X
Great outdoor area with views of the sea. Spacious interior and bar staff really friendly. Was down South for a wedding and we stopped here for a few.punts before heading into clevedon hall for the service. Beautiful bar.
First time been here. Very nice pub. Will visit again. Only drawback is the food portions. Some were smaller than other. My wife and I had chips with our meal. My portion was fine but her portion was small with only 7 Chips.
We booked lunch here for ourselves and and a 97 year old mother. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu had great variety, the food was excellent, I had roast shoulder of lamb, delicious 😋 We had to pay to park but the fee was refunded from our bill. The cost was very reasonable and the service excellent. It also gives one direct access to the promenade. Well worth visit.
Sunday afternoon 3pm. Only one person serving at the bar. Having waited in the queue at the bar for 25 mins I was told that they were behind on food and the wait would be over an hour.As this pub can accommodate so many people, it needs staffing levels to match. Being provided with such a huge outdoor area is great, but only if youre happy to not eat nor drink.I did the sensible thing and had fish and chips from the takeaway next door. Delicious.
Excellent views, Excellent service, Excellent food, very friendly staff. The four of enjoyed our meals very much. Only one thing let it down, the waiters/waitresses didnt take the empty glasses away during service so ended up with one end of the table full of emptys and the desserts being served over the top of them.
Very good location on the front at Clevedon. Reasonable pub grub, with a lovely outdoor terrace, but you can take dogs inside if its cold or wet.
What impresses more than the electric view of the tumultuous seas of the Bristol Channel is the hospitality of the accommodating staff and the warm and cosy ambience. The menu boasts of a number of delicacies at a moderately fair price for the hungry customer willing to go high but spend low. All in all, a lovely experience.
Large pub/restaurant on Clevedon sea front. Good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Usual pub fare from steak to salads. Well cooked food and friendly staff. Booking for restaurant advisable though you can eat in the bar without reservation. Pool table, lots of outdoor seating and dog friendly.
Beautifully prepared signature dish! very tasty! We enjoyed our lunch today. thank you Little Harp Inn team!
Lovely meal today with my elderly mother in law. The staff were very accommodating with her request to change her meal at the very last moment. Brilliant pub, great staff, brilliant service.Pub situated with great views over the Bristol channel. We will be back.
Food was disappointing. I visited at 4pm during the week - had to wait for ages until my order arrived (and it wasn’t that busy!). I had the chicken burger and I don’t know where to start. The chicken was so overcooked and paper dry. The burger bun was stale and it was just unpalatable.
The standout element of the pub is the beautiful outdoor space with beach huts, its directly on the seafeont with views across to the Welsh coast. Having a full bar outside with takeaway options is also really welcome. The pub menu is solid Greene King fare served by friendly staff.
On a windy day .We sat in their new cabins and waited for outdoor service ,which didnt come .So I went in and was served at the bar. They certainly are trying to cater for post covid requirements but they could have done with placing instructions for service on each table. Cabins were excellent for shelter and we spent several minutes with our drinks looking out towards the Welch coast.
First visit to the Harp after lockdown. Well run with bookings only. Staff as good as always, lost my wallet on the night but it was handed in, many thanks. One or two things missing on the menu which is only to be expected, the Mussels were great. Weather was kind for outside dining.
Measures for covid-19 were in place and staff kept to these. Overall very friendly staff.Food was delicious and not overpricedStunning views looking out over the sea.
Very nice food, well.coooked and great service. Went for a fillet and my mum for a rump, both medium rare and well cooked. Sauces were a bit thick but nice. Liked the flavour of the organs on the surf. Chips were well cooked and hot. They did forget our drinks however they offered us free desert to apologize,. Without asking which is fantastic service. My desert was great with the creme brulee. Although I dont think my mum liked the apple crumble ooe., Needs more crumble in my view. The disabled toilet is a bit tight for 2 people but is doable. Service was very friendly. The higher rating is due to in my view having a lower price and good food. We would go back. It had great views.
Sunday Afternoon around 5pm - run out of Sundays roasts?! Didnt book but seated straight away. Menu choice not huge but portions are generous reflected in medium prices. Tentative staff. Nice family friendly place. Views onto the Severn over sunset. Fish and Chips = 8/10
Very good food in reasonable prices. Fish and chips was delicious. Cod tastes like it was fresh caught. Good selection of beers. Very good kids menu. Service is very friendly and helpful. Very good place for a romantic dinner on sunset at the seaside. Definitely will come again.
Lovely place to eat with a sea view. Staff friendly and efficient, prices are reasonable (my fish and chips £9.99, pint of diet Coke £2.40and the food is very nice. Plenty of larger tables for bigger groups and very family/child-friendly. Desserts looked amazing but I was too full to try one!
Great location with sea views. Large outside area for summer months. Well presented interior with a good food selection simple find a table number and order at the bar. Nice conservatory dining room very pleasent with the setting sun. I have eaten here a few times and have not had a bad experience.
